Marvel x A Bathing Ape Bapesta
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In the early 2000s, A Bathing Ape was a rare and niche presence in fashion. Despite its popularity among hip-hop stars like Jay Z and Pharrell, the brand was hard to find in the US, with only flagship stores in New York City and Los Angeles during the original Marvel x BAPE launch.

While online shopping was amplifying around then, there were still strong concerns about buying products off message boards or from international retailers. This celebrity clout and untouchable chase all added to the buzz of BAPE across the Internet and in sneaker communities.
Tumblr media
It’s worth noting too that Marvel had massive commercial cache at the time of the first collaboration, with 2005’s Fantastic Four grossing $330.6 million and 2006’s X-Men: The Last Stand producing $459.4 million. While Marvel and A Bathing Ape may not have needed momentum at the time of their first pairing, it set a precedent for unexpected collaborations erupting a new world of converge culture.
Tumblr media
In 2007, A Bathing Ape brought the same energy on a duo of DC Comics collaborations channeling both Batman and Superman. They also pushed the price due to increased demand or perhaps more expensive licensing. Historical StockX listings place both ’07 DC drops at $250 MSRP — $100 USD more than the previous Marvel collabs. Interestingly enough, Hypebeast’s Eddie Eng recalls that the DC duo wasn’t nearly as popular or impactful as the buzz surrounding the Marvel madness.

Looking back at 2023, the Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 “Pine Green” was hands down one of the hottest sneaker drops of the year. The way it blended skate-ready tweaks with that classic AJ4 silhouette—plus the clean Nike SB heel branding—made it a perfect mashup of both brands’ vibes. When it sold out, fans were hyped to hear rumors of a follow-up colorway in “Navy.” Fast forward over 20 months with no official pics, and people were starting to wonder if it was ever dropping. But finally, we’ve got a first look, thanks to the Instagram post below. They kept the winning formula the same, just swapped out “Pine Green” for “Navy,” and honestly, why fix what isn’t broken? These are expected to drop in summer 2025 on Nike SNKRS and at select retailers for $225 USD. Keep it locked here for more updates and official pics from Nike!

The Best High-Performance Radiator for the C6 Corvette
Tumblr media
Usually, when we start a conversation to discuss the best aftermarket parts for your car, “cheapest” isn’t welcomed into the social circle. You get what you pay for, which always rings true in our business, but when talking about a company such as CSF Cooling, we have an anomaly on our hands. Luckily, this is a conversation for the king of the road, the C6 Corvette. It’s no secret that you Corvette owners have cracked the code for honing in high performance, practicality, and reliability all under one hood. LS motor options are laying down unhinged performance for a damn cheap price. CSF Cooling wanted to not only enter the dance, but also take the crown as prom king.
Introducing the all-new CSF C6 Corvette (all trims) High-Performance Radiator
Tumblr media
CSF’s latest high-performance radiator was designed specifically for the C6 Corvette, a popular choice among automotive enthusiasts for its performance and modifiability. Recognizing the need for improved cooling systems, particularly for high-horsepower builds and hard-driving, CSF collaborated with A&A Corvette, leveraging their expertise in Corvette products.
Design & Engineering: The radiator boasts a 193% larger core volume than the factory model, offering enhanced cooling capacity. CSF’s B-Tube Technology and multi-louvered fins increase heat transfer efficiency by approximately 15%, which is crucial for maintaining optimal engine temperatures, especially in high-performance applications.
CSF vs. OEM: Compared to the original OEM radiator, CSF’s offering features a 2-row 52mm aluminum core, superior to the single-row design of the factory model. The radiator is constructed entirely from TIG-welded aluminum, ensuring durability and longevity even under demanding conditions. Importantly, it fits seamlessly into the factory location without requiring modifications.

The Outer Worlds
Developed by Obsidian Entertainment

Release Date 2019 (based on platform)
Tested on Xbox Series X
MSRP 30,00 USD
youtube
Oh boy, oh boy, where to even begin to talk about my experience in The Outer Worlds? Let me put it this way, I don’t easily 100% a game, and when I decide “Okay, I played enough share of this game to talk about my experience for it, let’s go through with to the end still” I know that I want to complete it and see the ending unfold before my eyes. When I got to the last mission in this game, I felt “wait a second, this mission sounds like it is going end the story because this is going to be a big revelation”, that was that moment I realized I completed the game without intention to do so. The game’s main quests and couple of side quests here and there last around 15 hours, I completed it within 3 days and I didn’t even realize I was playing 5 hours a day. Long story short: The Outer Worlds has been an epic journey for me, it is worth appraisal because the game puts a lot of story and background history in a 15-hours gametime. When the end credits roll, that’s where you go “Wow, that is…that is… a personal adventure”. The Outer Worlds? This is peak fiction, pure excellence, complete enjoyment, total pleasure.
Tumblr media
What is this game about that I enjoyed hell of it? Firstly, I never played a Bethesda RPG before, and the team behind this game, Obsidian, is known for Fallout New Vegas and players praise The Outer Worlds for old-school Bethesda RPG gameplay and mechanics, therefore I cannot go into whether this game is a great Bethesda-like RPG or not, I am just going to criticise it on its own and what it offers.
The game opens with the character customization, you’ve the classic RPG elements in here, you got Attributes, Skills, Aptitude, Appearance, Naming your character. In this section you have certain points to improve your characteristics there. You can improve and upgrade all the skills throughout the game, only your Attributes are fixed and cannot be modified by you, these are Body, Mind and Personality categories. My character looked like this starting the game:
Tumblr media
Once you create your character, the opening scene stars rolling with a seamless transition: It is 2355, two ships were sent from the earth to colonise Terra 1 and Terra 2 planets, the ship named hope malfunctioned and didn’t arrive Terra 2 ever. A scientist finds Hope and he is able to wake one crew member up, all of whom are in deep cryosleep, and that’s us, the Stranger. Welles, the scientist, sends us to Halcyon and gives us the mission to return with sufficient resources to wake the rest of the crew members on Hope. As you complete the game, you’ll have more info on this actually, and I wish to leave this part to the end so as not to spoil the fun for you.
We land on Halcyon, on Emerald Vale specifically, as a person who woke up from deep sleep we try to adjust to new natural conditions in this unknown environment, and we approach to the gates of Edgewater. A gravedigger introduces himself, and kind of welcomes us. He offers a side quest to us right off the bat. Side quests even before the first mission? Damn right, let’s go. Silos, the gravedigger, instructs us four citizens in the town haven’t paid the fee for gravedigging, and he desperately needs payment no matter what. When we show up at Abernathy’s apartment, one of the four citizens, he states he needs a certain medicine and he can pay us for our trouble, I accept it, what can go wrong sneaking into a guarded room and stealing a medicine that’s highly-sought after? As soon as we leave the apartment, we see a woman overhearing our exchange with Abernathy about the aforementioned medicine. The woman says it is no good for him, he already has plague and way older than anybody in the town, she can pay much better than him for the medicine, she leaves us to think about her offer. I was really caught off-guard here, “am I stepping into a world full of intrigue right at the beginning?”, the task Abernathy has given us is not simple fetch quest, there is depth to it, he’s asking us to obtain the medicine in an illegal way because the state does not provide him it, and when we accept to get it, a woman turns out all of a sudden, even in a side quest you are there, making choices: who should we give the medicine to? To Abernathy, who is sick and whose illness swiftly worsening? Or this woman we just met who promises a much better money for it? Well, it’s up to you, I won’t reveal the decision I made. As I said, there’re 4 citizens in debt to Silos, the other two are interconnected in a way, one of them is a worker at the factory and the other is a person who’s handling funeral procedures. The factory worker found his neighbour dead, he clearly committed suicide, and she found him in his apartment, therefore, for stupid reasons, she has to pay his graveyard and funeral fees. We collect the payment from her, and head over to funeral place, there we encounter the man, who committed suicide, lying in front of us. The man talks about the recently deceased and mentions  the complications and intricancies, saying that he didn’t actually commit suicide, he must have died of other reasons, even though it is clear that he shot himself with his pistol. It may seem a fleeting moment to you, still it touches you when you experience the back-story in the present moment, the game presents you what took place and you are in the moment at the same time, what’s even more attention-grabbing is that we never know and never meet the dead man in person. He is…there. Just dead. We hear from grapevine that he shot himself on purpose, and the other says he died after shooting himself, implying it is not a suicide in technicality. The humane-ness of the situation is shocking. And you are remembered as the-neighbour-whose-graveyard-fee-I-had-to-pay. Well, we move on.
Tumblr media
During the game you meet major characters, these people can be recruited as companions. Companions hold a major share in the game because they, well, accompany you in all your missions and interacting and talking to them add a lof of depth to your knowledge concerning Terra 1 and 2, Edgewater, the planets you visit and people you interact with, and basically the history of the state. They fill you in all sorts of details and enrich the experience you have. You can equip weapons and gear for your companions and they level up as you and you can upgrade their skills. It’s always great to see that your companions or NPCs are aware of what’s going on around them, or the situation at hand. For example, in the first main mission, you are to make a crucial decision, one that is going to have substantial impact for two communities, one of them is Edgewater town and the town deserters from Edgewater built. You decide which communities electricity and power to cut in order to generate power for your spaceship. After your decision the next time you interact with Parvati, your first companion who is a beginner engineer, gives her input as to your decision and show sentiments on the decision, after she is born and raised in Edgewater, this is all her life. This feature and attention to detail make your experience more immersive because you know your companions aren’t random NPCs following you around, they have distinct personality and character and, most importantly, respond and reach to ongoings.
Tumblr media
A game shouldn’t fall into excessive repetition let it be mechanics, story, jokes etc. The Outer Worlds has this great balance concerning the overarching comprehensive world-building. Regardless of where you are or with whom you interact, you sense this oppression on your shoulders, the Board’s. The Board is this ruling committee, it is extremely significant in everybody’s daily life in all these planets you get to visit, the Board is so greedy behind all these doors that they realise there is not enough food to sustain each and every citizen, so what’s the solution they come up with? To freeze and unfreeze citizens rotatingly, in this way there will be sufficient resources for a small share of people. It is even mandatory to recite the Board’s certified slogans and advertisements for civil servants: the most familiar slogan you’ll come across in each location is ‘It’s not the best choice, it is Spacer’s Choice!’. Another mechanic I put high regard is indirect storytelling, in this game you will find ‘terminals’ almost in all locations, buildings, spaceship landing pads. In these terminals, you can find logs and entries, recorded by the workers or the people, you get to visit an abandoned small lab in outskirts of Edgewater to obtain an item, you explore the lab downstairs and there is a terminal, you read and learn what these people experienced, they tried to erect fences, then stronger fences with electricity, yet they lost the war against the enemies of their own. In these records, you are told a backstory and it enhances and complements the on-going ‘bigger picture’ story you are experiencing, these small touches and detail are great additions which are told indirectly in simple words, yet powerfully nevertheless.
Now it is time to talk about issues or complaints I had in the game, it is not sunshine and rainbows after all.
As you set a mission active for tracking, multiple icons will appear if the mission has more than one task to be completed, you cannot see which task is for which location on the map, because it does only state the mission name, not the task names, for example if the mission name’s “Go Home”, this is what it says in the task icons on map, instead of specific task names, and you cannot track a task within a mission, all the task appear on your screen all the time, this gets disorienting when two tasks, which are to be completed in different planets, show up at the same time, as the player I’d like have the option to track down the task I wish to complete first, I don’t need to see an icon for a task from another planet on the screen.
You can see the problem I am explaining here:
youtube
You can also mod your weapons on workbenches:
youtube
When you complete a quest, the game automatically tracks the main mission, this will lead misguided direction for you time to time because the game doesn’t let you know there’s a nearby side quest you can do, instead of this, the game marks the main mission active which is in another planet. The other instance is when a companion requested kindly to visit a grave of a friend who recently died and said the location is on our way to another mission, I said yes, but the game didn’t mark this graveyard location as active quest. The issues I put forward in the last two paragraphs are not impossible mechanics to figure out, for example these issues are handled smoothly in recent Assassin’s Creed games, the game allows you to pinpoint certain tasks, notifies you whether if there’s a nearby quest you can complete and adds additional quests into your available ongoing quest. I highly suggest you to pay attention main and side quest locations and check your map regularly.
Without full-blown spoilers, I wish to mention one sentence from the ending, where the narrator talks about what happens after the final mission and how it all played out. The narrator says Reed Tobson, an influential person in Edgewater who’s fervently supporting the Board and status-quo in a cunning way, is found drinking Zero Gee, some sort of low-quality liquor, and uttering “It’s not the best choice, it is Spacer’s Choice”. This specific line and the scene it describes sounded like it resembles 1984's end in a reverse way. In 1984, Winston is seen drinking Victory Gin after being ‘re-educated’ to love Big Brother and is bereft of motivation or drive in life in any capacity, and he’s fully accepting (well, unwillingly) and not able to go against any longer for sake of what he believes in, thus drowning himself and his sorrows in cheap oily gin. Reed does the same, though for entirely contrasting reasons. He’s longing for the defeated Board and his lost authority and he can only utter what his life stood for in the past, this is a new world he lives in now, one where the yoke of the oppressive and authoritarian Board is no more.
Here is the complete menus and sub-menus:
youtube
The game also puts forth an ethical question through Doctor Welles. In his logs found in the terminal in his lab, we read he tried to wake up at least twelve Hope colonists, and he writes some of the subjects ‘lived’ up to ninety seconds before painfully screaming and dying. He doesn’t mention how many colonists he attempted to wake up to successfully reviving the Stranger. During the game we learn the Board and his military is after Welles because he committed treason against the Board and went against the law in his experiments, especially with Hope colonists. The question has to be asked: can Welles’s actions be justified? In his defence, trying and failing is at least worth a shot and favourable, instead of not doing anything in the face the Board, and all it takes is waking up one colonist properly and all the lost souls be worth it. And we circle back to the beginning, we customize the character and voila, we wake up, we are that person Welles is able to revive from deep sleep.
The Outer Worlds presents a unique and exquisite world (well, worlds) before you, and it’s a must-play even for players who simply enjoy great storytelling with not too-much-of RPG mechanics.

I’m not at all surprised by my disappointment in this clumsily executed product reveal, which to my knowledge, doesn’t even include a video of any kind.
I am however, unexpectedly amused that they would go this far in riding the coat tails of the long-dead Alphasmart product lineage to conceive a new machine for a captive, special interest audience they have already proved they are vividly aware of, and yet, for all that effort, not only continue to alienate that audience, but deny themselves and their business most that the benefits that even attempting an “Alphasmart successor” device could potentially bring them.
Astrohaus accomplishes this, of course, by continuing their enforced fetishization of 20th Century typewriters, as though typewriters were used in the previous century because writers in that age harbored an ideological hostility toward the concept of editing, rather than simply wanting the most efficient mechanical means of writing that the technology of the era would allow for.
If Astrohaus is happy selling ten thousand machines to the Judy Funnies of the world who want a high-end statement piece to signal their affinity with 20th Century writers, rather than selling hundreds of thousands of machines to disabled students desperate to function normally in classrooms and express themselves, and to writers who care more about utility and freedom than having their creative processes dictated to them by a boutique manufacturer of luxury goods, then perhaps they’ll get the returns they are hoping for.
I’m further amused that one of the aspects of the Alphasmart devices Astrohaus decided was important to copy was the lack of a backlit screen.
Back when Astrohaus was attempting to dunk on the continued use of aging Alphasmart devices, and woo Alphasmart users over to the Freewrite by saying something in their copy to the general effect of, “Let’s upgrade you to a proper writing tool.”, at least Astrohaus could boast that their device had a lit screen while the Alphasmart Neo 2 didn’t.
I’d love to know where between the $350 MSRP of the Alpha and the $650 asking price of the standard issue Freewrite does a writer deserve to have a lit screen, but it certainly isn’t at the $500 price point of the Freewrite Traveler.
Nintendo’s Game Boy Advance SP, a children’s toy from twenty years ago, had a backlit screen. It launched at $100 USD ($161 at 2022 currency rates), was considered low end tech even for the time, and was generally used to keep preteen brats quiet in the back seat during trips to the supermarket.
Meanwhile, not only do Astrohaus’s Alpha, at $350, but also the Freewrite Traveler at $500, lack backlit screens, but both of these machines are positioned as high-end, sophisticated creative tools for language artists willing to pay above and beyond to have a Grade A experience for word processing functionality – functionality that is bundled as default with even the most primitive modern device that any writer in the developed world would have needed access to in order to browse and make purchases from the Astrohaus website to begin with.
Writers aren’t outbidding each other to get increasingly old, increasingly expensive, and increasingly coveted decades-old Alphasmart devices, and then doing extensive refurbishment and modification projects on them, in order to remove the arrow keys so they can write while being “freed” from the odious distraction of an easily movable cursor.
Writers are refurbishing and modifying their Alphasmarts in order to add screen lights to them.
For Astrohaus to design a product as a successor to the Alphasmart, and decide to carry forward the old Alphasmart’s lack of a backlight, but remove the Alphasmart’s inclusion of arrow keys, which have been standard on nearly every modern keyboard produced in the last thirty-five years, (other than those designed by Astrohaus) is not merely throwing out the baby and keeping the old bathwater – it’s keeping the old bathwater, bottling it for sale as a luxury item, and then burning down the perfectly intact house the bathwater originated from, with the baby still inside.
Of course, it could be the case that the Alpha by Astrohaus does have a lit screen after all, which would call into question their copy writing ability, and as an extension, their authority to not only produce writing devices, but to dictate to writers what their writing process is supposed to be, in which editing is either explicitly disallowed, or made deliberately as cumbersome as possible in order to discourage it.
I’m fascinated if the rumors that members of the company behind the original Alphasmart devices were consulted, contacted, or hired by Astrohaus in relation to the development of the Alpha are true, and that if they are true, to what extent they were actually listened to – as I’m quite certain if the design philosophy behind the original Alphasmart product line resembled that of Astrohaus, those devices would not have had the success that they did enjoy for a while before they sadly fizzled out.
Many months ago I listened to some bigwig from Astrohaus who’s name I don’t recall being interviewed on a podcast. At one point he said something to the immediate effect of wanting the Freewrite to become a declaration piece that writers would use to signal to peers and clients that they are serious about their craft.
On the other hand, on the online writing community which seems more dedicated than any other that I’m aware of to discussing and displaying purpose-made electronic writing and word processing equipment - which in many cases happens to be rare and expensive - Astrohaus and the Freewrite device family has been the butt of jokes for years, and it seems to be more of a mark of distinction to see how far someone is willing to go to use any possible solution other than a Freewrite, even if it’s literally hacked together with crudely assembled spare parts in someone’s garage.
It’s sad for Astrohaus that the King Jim Pomera DM 100, an out-of-production device more than a decade old, that was created in Japan, and designed chiefly to perform word processing in a language that I can not speak or read, seems set to continue to serve me better as an English-literate written word artist for years to come, than a newly announced machine designed in my own home town of New York City, that hasn’t even hit the market yet.
There’s no way I could be this emotionally involved with this unfolding story without being sure that my paid 1$ pre-order for the Alpha was secured without delay or hesitation.
For me, the $250 pre-shipping is worth the utility of being able to say that I put my own money on the line to give a device in the Freewrite family a fair and extensive trial, and can speak from hundreds of hours of experience in using it. I say this because as much as I vocally criticize and challenge Astrohaus, I have been conscious of the fact I’ve spent years tearing this firm apart without having laid hands on one of their products.
Perhaps writing is believing – my dollar is on the table, with 249 more to follow it, but if the product rollout is as smoothly executed as the botched hype for the reveal of the Alpha’s product page, this may be a long and rocky waiting period.
Though to Astrohaus’s credit, they have actually consistently delivered on past electronics hardware projects geared to niche hobbyist markets, even if delayed; which in a world of Coleco Chameleons, Polymegas, and Intellivision Amicos, is more of a unique and distinctive statement than plopping one of Astrohaus’s deliberately crippled contraptions on the table of a coffee house ever could ever be.
The best part of today’s announcement to me is the fact that Astrohaus either had the restraint not to use the legacy Alphasmart branding for this device (only for the teaser site URL for whatever reason), or felt it as beneath them to actually do so, in spite of the obvious intent to mimic Alphasmart in as many ways as possible, all while maintaining that unique Astrohaus pretentious gimmick charm.
(FYI, I wrote every word this on a NEO 2, LOL.)
Writing by me.

The Disastrous Life of Saiki K, a review
(Disclaimer: The following is a non-profit unprofessional blog post written by an unprofessional blog poster. All purported facts and statement are little more than the subjective, biased opinion of said blog poster. In other words, don’t take anything I say too seriously.) Just the facts 'Cause you're in a Hurry! Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP): 50 USD Digital Copy (MSRP): 17.99 USD for 12 episodes How much I paid: 83.98 USD for Physical copy and an Amazon Video digital copy. Animation Studio: J.C. Staff Licensed and Localized by: Funimation Entertainment Audio: Japanese Audio with Subtitles and English Dub available.   English Cast: Jerry Jewell as Saiki Kusuo, David Weld as Nendo, Chuck Huber as Kuniharu Kusuo, Tia Ballard as Teruhashi, Megan Shipman as Chisato Mera, Morgan Garrett as Kurumi Saiki, Micah Solusod as Shun Kaido Number of Episodes: 24 Episodes Length per Episode: 25 Minutes on average. 21 Without Intro and Ending song. Number of Discs: 4 Blu-ray Discs in total Episodes per Disc: Episodes 1-9 on the first Blu-ray disc with Episodes 10-12 on the second Blu-ray disc along with the special features. Episodes 13-21 on 3rd Blu-ray disc and Episodes 22-24 on 4th. Bundle also includes: Digital Copy that can be redeemed on Funimation Now. Also on: Netflix, Google Play, Amazon Video, Funimation Now, Funimation’s streaming service that requires a subscription. Bonus Features: Textless Openings, Textless Ending and Trailers for other Funimation Licensed Shows. Episode 1 Commentary. Episode 24 commentary. Notable Localization Changes: Because of the nature of the dub, the voice performers are considerably slower than their Japanese counterparts and may annoy viewers. The English script uses multiple puns and other wordplay to add humor. (i.e. when Saiki addresses his father dressed up in a Santa outfit, he replies “You’re a lost Claus”. When Saiki takes off his transparent gloves to psychically read an object, he goes “But now the gloves are off!”) In Episode 24, Chiyo’s dialogue changes to “You jerk-ass writers! You couldn’t come up with any clever ideas so you had to dig through a bin of tired tropes?” My Personal Biases: I never heard of Saiki K until I saw an advertisement in a My-Hime blu-ray and seeing him featured on the roster of J-Stars Victory Vs. My Verdict: Saiki K manages to spin multiple plates at once by delivering a memorable character, establishing his powers and giving the audience gut busting dialogue masterfully executed. If you can forgive J.C. staff’s lackluster animation, you’ll have a good time. Check it out when you get the chance! The Disastrous Life of Saiki K, a review
Tumblr media
youtube
During the summer of 2016, 2 shows about psychics premiered. One was the hit juggernaut, Mob Psycho 100, praised for its beautiful animation, interesting characters and take on psychic characters. The other show was J.C. Staff’s The Disastrous life of Saiki K, an anime adaptation of a gag manga found in Weekly Shounen Jump. Saiki Kusuo is a 16 year old psychic with all the powers known. He possess telepathy, telekinesis, teleportation, psychokinesis and other traits not even mentioned. He’s seemingly the luckiest boy in the world… or it would seem. In reality, Saiki is, in his own words, the most miserable boy in the world. The show opts to answer of a character having an overpowered skill-set by giving said character new problems. Having telepathy means being spoiled on movies and video games. Having super strength and super intelligence means having to balance the skills just so he appears mediocre in school. Having telekenisis means having an unreliable father who constantly begs for help. The trick is that Saiki’s narration is always constant and we’re allowed to hear the other character’s internal thoughts, while Saiki himself provides commentary. It should also be noted that we never ‘see’ Saiki’s mouth move, implying he’s communicating via telepathy. (It also helps that Saiki’s powers come with a number of limitations. For example, he can restore something back to its original state but it takes a day to recharge). As Saiki explains his powers to us, we’re also allowed to hear the other characters and why they’re doing what they’re doing and how Saiki wants nothing to do with them… or does he?
youtube
Yes, the formula of ‘jerk suddenly wants to do the right thing’ is easy, but Saiki K makes it work. See, Saiki constantly doesn’t want to draw attention towards himself for fear of things such as experimentation and paparazzi, and the path of least resistance is usually the best and easiest for him. But, seeing each of the side character’s constant struggles and dedication moves him. At the same time, allowing us to be with Saiki also lets us see the hypocrisy of his own actions and how the seemingly all knowing psychic can’t see past his own weaknesses or nonsense. At one point, Saiki is set to swindle a salesman out of an expensive television, but Saiki’s weakness for coffee jelly damns the effort. Granted, I’m an easy target for the ‘jerk with a heart of gold’ trope and Saiki’s sarcasm is on the level of Justin Cook’s interpretation of Yusuke Urameshi, but it all looks easy. Each episode contains 5 segments detailing a certain obstacle in Saiki’s life (though certain segments such as a trip to Okinawa can last over multiple segments and episodes). We usually go into problem of the segment issues, but Saiki’s powers shows us how it affects him differently. It’s a Slice of Life for superpowered teens. Things like a noisy neighbor or a cute girl are usually pains in the ass for Saiki. The supporting cast also impressed me a great deal. For example, anyone that’s followed me online knows popular girls such as Sachiko from Maria watches over us or Chikane Himemiya from Kannazuki no Miko tend to annoy me, but Teruhashi isn’t just popular and pretty, but so dedicated to the part of keeping appearances, she’s willing to debase herself and eat disgusting ramen. At the same time, Saiki, because of his powers is so off-put by Teruhashi’s uncanny ability to get what she wants that he’s willing to alienate her, but he’s slowly won over by her commitment. It works. The rest of the cast also compliment Saiki in interesting ways. Nendo, despite being so dumb that not even Saiki can read his mind, has a genuine good heart and tries to help his single mother. Kaido, despite being a weakling and possessing no powers of his own, shows genuine courage in the face of danger. Hairo, despite being an overly excited jock who’s super competitive, is dedicated to the point of being an actual leader. Toritsuka, a spirit medium who can see ghosts but would rather see girls’ underwear, feels like a side character meant to become a lead in a spin-off. If the show has a weak spot, it’s definitely the animation. Don’t go into this show expecting the animation to be the same quality as Mob Psycho 100. Still shots, panning movements and lazy animation make it clear that animating the show was not a priority. I give this a pass because action is clearly not the emphasis of the show, humor is. And there’s just enough there in the editing, the music and the voice acting (both the original Japanese and the dubbed) to make it work. Funimation Entertainment did the localization of the show. For the most part, the English script stays as close to the original Japanese as much as possible. The English script uses multiple puns and other wordplay to add humor or change jokes that wouldn’t work in English. (i.e. when Saiki addresses his father dressed up in a Santa outfit, he replies “You’re a lost Claus”. When Saiki takes off his transparent gloves to psychically read an object, he goes “But now the gloves are off!”) Jerry Jewell as Saiki is noticeably slower in his delivery than the Japanese Seiyuu but Jewell’s use of deadpan as well as adding the appropriate amount of emotion at the right time more than makes up for it. (Fans may recognize Jewell from other Funimation roles such as Jimmy Kudo in Case Closed and Licht in Black Clover) Mainstays such as David Wald as Nindo, Kyle Phillips as Hairo, Megan Shipman as Mera and Chuck Huber as Kuniharu all add to the work. Tia Ballard (who plays Marron in Dragon Ball Super) is especially good in playing Teruhashi. THE ORIGINAL JAPANESE AUDIO WITH SUBTITLES IS AVAILABLE FOR THOSE WHO PREFER IT. CAVEAT: I don’t know if Saiki K is anything revolutionary in terms of comedy in the age of Nichijou, Lucky Star, and K-on! It’s a cheaply produced anime based off a gag manga. But, I’d be lying if I didn’t have a hell of a time watching it. It takes skill to balance exposition, character motivation and humor into 24 episodes, but Saiki K makes all look effortless. 50 USD for 24 episodes is steep, but I loved every moment of it. Plus, the bundle also includes a Funimation Digital copy that can be redeemed on Funimation Now, the company’s streaming service. Verdict: If you’re not sure, try checking it out for free on Crunchyroll or if you already have a Netflix subscription, check it out there.

Best Microsoft Office Deals – Get Office Suite At A Cheap Price!
It can be difficult to find the Best Microsoft Office Deals online. There are numerous stores, third-party resellers on marketplaces such as Amazon or eBay, endless number of deals, discounts, once-in-a-lifetime bargains you shouldn't (or should?) miss, and so on. And if you need to purchase Microsoft Office, you may have already done your due diligence by doing a ton of research about the topic and may have come up with an endless number of results.
Tumblr media
In this article, we have come up with a list of options on how you can legally purchase Microsoft office at a lower price.
Where can I buy Microsoft Office?
When it comes to purchasing a Microsoft Office package, one of the most significant considerations is the cost. Whether or not you've already visited the Microsoft Store, we can assure you that the prices can make you a shock. Let's see how much Microsoft Office costs there: say you need to get a new Microsoft Office suite for your home, so you head to the Microsoft Store and first look at Microsoft 365 subscription for Home, Microsoft's latest productivity package that is subscription-based. The Family plan costs $99.99 USD per year or 11.99 USD per month, while the Personal plan costs $69.99 USD per year/6.99 USD per month. In the long run, you'll have spent a lot of money on your Office suite. If you wish to pay a one-time fee and maintain your Office suite forever, the Microsoft Office 2021 Home & Student edition costs 149.99$ for one user and one PC or Mac.
Luckily there are some cost-effective and legal ways, by which you can get access to Microsoft Office, such as through the help of Third-party resellers However, there is one caveat. As previously stated, there are numerous options available on the internet, but not all of them are perfect. You might have noticed some dirt-cheap MS Office deals for less than $5, but what's the catch? Remember that if a bargain appears to be too good to be true, it most likely is; What we mean is that the cheapest place to get Microsoft Word and other Office applications is not always the best. You may encounter grey market products, such as product keys and licenses obtained through stolen credit card transactions, or forged activation keys obtained through keygens and other illegal means; you may have to perform some strange VPN operations in order to trick Microsoft servers into allowing you to use a key obtained from a geo-restricted area where software is cheaper but only for specific internal markets.

TAKING SPEED TO THE LIMIT, TAYLORMADE GOLF COMPANY BREAKS BOUNDARIES WITH THE UNVEILING OF M5 & M6 METALWOODS Pushing Engineering Boundaries Like Never Before, Speed Injected Twist Face Takes Performance to Unsurpassed Levels with the Next Generation of M Technology
TaylorMade Golf announced today the next generation of the globally successful line of its M metalwoods, highlighted by the all-new M5 & M6 drivers, fairways and hybrids.
In 2018, TaylorMade engineers developed a new path to performance with Twist Face technology. To counteract the high-toe miss (a hook), the driver face was modified open (loft increased & face opened) on the high-toe to help straighten ball flight. Similarly, to counteract the low-heel miss (a slice) the driver face was modified closed to de-loft and close the face in the low heel area. In 2019, TaylorMade has taken Twist Face to the next level of performance with the introduction of Injected Twist Face technology, exposing the false narrative that speed limits have been reached in a metalwood. There are four key features to the design of Speed Injected Twist Face that allow TaylorMade to maximize ballspeed, working in unison to allow every M5 & M6 driver to be precision-tuned with a new, rigorous process to maximize speed to the allowable limit.
1. Ultra-thin Titanium face with redesigned Inverted Cone Technology (ICT)
2. Reengineered, more-flexible Hammerhead 2.0 slot
3. Internal support foam with variable amounts of injected resin
4. A proprietary algorithm to tune each head
Every M5 & M6 driver head is inspected, measured, and tuned for maximum speed and to ensure conformity; a process truly unmatched in the golf industry. Whereas current drivers have a level of variation from one to the next, TaylorMade’s new engineering and development processes effectively deliver a level of precision that ensures every golfer gets a hot & fast driver head.
The drivers have been designed with a thinner, more flexible face, in fact, initially designed above the legal limit before going through the tuning process, a process in which resin is injected to ensure maximum speed for each head. The injection process utilizes two new tuning ports on the face of the driver (both M5 & M6 models) and a proprietary algorithm to ensure the appropriate amount of resin is used, systematically dialing in the speed for each driver face.
A significant benefit of the thinner, faster face design is that it provides the M5 and M6 drivers with faster off-center COR, effectively increasing forgiveness. The new face design is optimized with up to a 20% reduction in thickness that results in a 66% larger sweetspot in the M5 drivers over the M3 and more than 100% larger than the original M1 in 2015.
M5 & M5 Tour Drivers
Highlighting TaylorMade’s next generation of M metalwood performance are the M5 & M5 Tour drivers, designed from the sole up to be the highest-performing drivers in company history. In addition to Twist Face and Speed Injected technologies, TaylorMade has also incorporated numerous additional technologies to take performance levels to unprecedented levels. Aesthetically, a new vibrant blood orange color and two-tone composite sole make for a visually stunning product that draws immediate attention and has drawn rave reviews from our Tour staff.
Inverted T-Track
TaylorMade first shifted the paradigm of adjustability with the introduction of the original TTrack in the M1 driver. In subsequent models in 2017 & 2018, the sliding weight system evolved into the Y-Track, which allowed for more than 1,000 unique CG configurations, which more than doubled the number attainable in the 2017 M1.
In the M5 & M5 Tour drivers, a new Inverted T-Track makes personalization more intuitive and simplified than ever and allows the golfer more precise CG adjustability with 1770 unique CG configurations; made possible through the allowance of 20 grams (two 10g weights) of movable weight to be utilized for both the benefit of heel to toe control as well as front to back CG adjustment.
Though there are 1770 unique settings, the adjustability process has been made incredibly intuitive with high/low & draw/fade settings. The front-to-back CG shift allows the golfer to fine-tune their ball flight through launch angle and backspin. The flat curvature of the front/back track provides the lowest CG possible regardless which weight setting fits the golfer best; this promotes high launch and low spin in any of the M5’s weight configurations.
It also provides a wide range of MOI options—position both weights all the way forward for the lowest CG projection to maximize speed with very low spin, push the weights all the way back into both sections of the Inverted T-Track and maximize MOI and ballspeed protection on mishits. The result gives the golfer up to one degree of launch angle and 600rpm of spin change as well as 25 yards of left-to-right adjustability. For even further personalization, the 2° loft sleeve allows for the adjustment of the loft, lie angle and face angle of the driver; and when combined with the Inverted T-Track, makes the M5 the company’s most customizable driver in company history.
Carbon Composite Crown & Sole
TaylorMade’s composite technology has been in development for more than fifteen years. In the M5 & M6 drivers and fairways, TaylorMade ushers in the 4th consecutive generation of its carbon composite technology. TaylorMade engineers were able to incorporate composite panels that continue to unlock performance with a more efficient mass distribution compared to a traditional metalwood construction.
The use of composite crown and sole panels save weight from the traditional construction of drivers and fairways. This increased discretionary weight is used to create an optimized center of gravity to deliver a hotter trajectory with increased forgiveness. The 2019 M5 & M6 have also increased the overall composite crown footprint by 10%
M5 Tour Driver
Following the success and increased demand for a sub-460 cc version over the last three years, the M5 will again be available in a smaller model – the M5 Tour. Featuring the same Speed Injected technology as the M5 driver, the M5 Tour driver utilizes a compact 435cc head with optimized aerodynamics for improved workability and maximum clubhead speed. While retaining all of the same key technologies as its larger 460cc counterpart, the M5 Tour driver is designed for the player who seeks more workability with less spin and prefers a more compact look at address.
Specifications, Availability & Pricing
Available for preorder on January 18 and at retail on February 1, 2019 at an MSRP of $549.99 USD, the M5 driver will be offered in 9°, 10.5° and 12° lofts. The M5 Tour driver will be available on March 1, 2019 also at an MSRP of $549.99 and is available in 9° and 10.5° lofts. Both the M5 & M5 Tour come equipped with a newly redesigned, streamlined headcover and premium components; either a Mitsubishi CK Tensei Orange 60 and Project X’s new HZRDUS Smoke 70 shaft with numerous additional shaft options available at no additional cost. The stock grip is the MCC Decade grip from Golf Pride.
M5 Fairway — Titanium with a Twist
Following comprehensive research and analytics of thousands of shots, TaylorMade engineers have also successfully incorporated its breakthrough Twist Face technology into a fairway wood. Like the M drivers, the faces have been modified to counteract the gear effect on common mis-hits in the high-toe and low-heel. Although the concept is the same as in the driver, the exact geometry is slightly different to account for the unique mass properties and impact location patterns in fairway woods compared to drivers.
The M5 fairway also represents a complete re-engineering of TaylorMade adjustable fairways. The M5 fairway features an advanced multi-material head construction with a titanium body, 5-layer carbon composite crown with a steel movable weight — a trimaterial construction. The two low-density components – carbon and titanium – led to more discretionary weight, which engineers used to completely redesign the sliding weight system for a lower CG location and increased adjustability.
The M5’s adjustable weight system features a 65g movable steel weight, which is slightly more than 30% of the total head weight, allowing for generous draw/fade adjustability. The position of the steel weight creates a lower center of gravity for a more efficient energy transfer with higher launch and lower spin. The unique design of movable weight also creates a more seamless sole contour, producing smoother turf interaction regardless of the weight position. The M5 fairway also features a more streamlined 12-position loft sleeve for up to 4° of adjustability (+-2°).
The M5 fairway wood is a new super adjustable fairway wood featuring ground-breaking new titanium-carbon construction with a massive 65-gram movable weight. This is the first ever fairway wood to use our revolutionary Twist Face technology for unparalleled accuracy and game-changing performance.
Specifications, Pricing & Availability
Available for preorder on January 18 and at retail on February 1, 2019 at an MSRP of $399.99 USD, the M5 fairway will be offered in Rocket 3/14° (RH only), 3/15° and 5/18° lofts and come equipped with a Mitsubishi CK Tensei Orange 75 (X) and 65 (S, R) with numerous additional shaft options available at no additional cost. The stock grip is the MCC Decade grip from Golf Pride.
M6 & M6 D-Type Drivers — Injected for a New Level of Speed
Complementing the M5 driver are the M6 and M6 D-Type drivers, which, like the M5, are injected to the maximum legal level of speed.
Injected Twist Face delivers a hot, yet accurate performance package in the new M6 driver. When you add optimized CG and MOI through the use of a full carbon crown and sole, the result is a complete driver that delivers on all fronts."
Speed Injected Twist Face
Like the M5, each M6 driver head is individually speed tested and injected with tuning resin to optimize COR across the entire face and deliver maximum ball speed and distance. The heel and toe ports in the driver face have allowed TaylorMade to maximize speed across the entire face in every driver created, delivering to each golfer a boundary-pushing fast & hot driver head.
The M6 also features Twist Face technology, which, like last year’s M3 & M4 drivers and this year’s M5 driver, provides more loft in the high toe and less loft in the low-heel to produce more consistent spin where golfers commonly mis-hit. The face of the M6 driver is also slightly taller (1mm) than the M5.
Aerodynamic Carbon Sole Design with ‘Inertia Generator’
Featuring the same 6-layer carbon composite crown as the M5 driver, the 2019 M6 drivers adds a complete carbon fiber sole, allowing for significantly more discretionary weight to be used elsewhere in the clubhead – as much as 54% more than its predecessor, the M4. With the weight savings, engineers were able to create a sleek, aerodynamic shape inclusive of the new ‘inertia generator.’ The inertia generator houses the additional discretionary weight extremely low and back for maximum forgiveness while lowering the CG compared to previous models.
The M6 D-Type driver brings the same performance features found in the M6 driver into a draw-biased, easy-to-launch package. TaylorMade engineers have utilized a combination of technologies to create a significant amount of draw bias to help golfers prevent a right miss. The key feature is the optical engineering that creates a high-contrast topline masking configured to make the face angle appear more open than the actual face angle, resulting in the golfer returning a more closed face at impact. In addition, the center of gravity is moved slightly toward the heel to further aid in delivering a square clubface to the golf ball. The combination of these features provides the M6 D-Type driver up to 20 yards more draw bias than the standard M6 driver.
Specifications, Pricing & Availability
Available for preorder on January 18 and at retail on February 1, 2019 at an MSRP of $499.99 USD, the M6 and M6 D-Type drivers will be offered in 9°, 10.5° and 12° (RH only) lofts. The M6 driver has two stock shaft options from Fujikura, the high launching Atmos Orange 5 and a lower-launching Atmos Black 6 in S-, R- and A-flexes. The M6 D-Type comes equipped with a Project X EvenFlow Max Carry 45 shaft in 6.0 (S), 5.5 (R) and 5.0 (A). For women, the M6 and M6 D-Type drivers will be offered in 10.5° and 12° lofts (RH only) and come equipped with TaylorMade’s Tuned Performance 45g L flex shaft. The stock men’s grip is the Lamkin Dual Feel grip and the stock ladies grip is the Lamkin Comfort Plus Dual Feel grip. Both drivers are available with numerous additional shaft options at no additional cost.
M6 Fairway Wood
The M6 fairway adds to TaylorMade’s rich lineage of high-performance fairway woods with the addition of revolutionary Twist Face technology in a fairway for the first time (alongside the M5); the result is an explosive, yet playable fairway from the tee or off the deck. New in '19 is the addition of ‘Rocket 3’ a 14° offering for those seeking reduced spin and slightly increased ballspeed.
Advanced Speed Pocket™ Design
The Speed Pocket has been re-engineered for the M6 fairway woods to provide even more ball speed on low face impacts. A new TPU slot insert has also been designed to sit flush with the sole to improve sole interaction and eliminate turf drag from the Speed Pocket.
The M6 fairways also improve performance over the M4 by optimizing CG placement directly behind center face, producing maximum energy transfer at impact. Maintaining a very low center of gravity, the face height of the M6 fairways is also slightly taller, creating a more confidence-inspiring look at address with more available impact area on the clubface. The new larger carbon composite crown increases discretionary mass which is concentrated low in the head, lowering CG for a higher launch while maintaining high MOI for excellent forgiveness.
M6 D-Type Fairway Wood
In addition to the M6 fairway, TaylorMade has also created an M6 D-Type fairway, engineered with the same technologies in a more draw-biased package. This is accomplished through divergent face masking and modified internal weighting that effectively delivers additional draw bias in the ball flight up to 15 yards.
Specifications, Pricing & Availability
Available for preorder on January 18 and at retail on February 1, 2019 at an MSRP of $299.99 USD, the M6 fairway woods will be offered in Rocket 3/14°, 3/15°, 5/18°, 7/21° and 9/24° lofts, equipped with Fujikura’s Atmos Orange FW shaft in S, R and A-flexes. The M6 D-Type will be offered in 3/16°, 5/19° (5) & 7/22° lofts and come equipped with the Project X EvenFlow Max Carry 50 shaft in 6.0 (S), 5.5 (R) and 5.0 (A). The stock men’s grip is the Lamkin Dual Feel grip and the stock ladies grip is the Lamkin Comfort Plus Dual Feel grip.
M6 Rescue™ — Ultimate Versatility with a Twist
Rounding out the 2019 M6 series metalwoods is the M6 Rescue; TaylorMade’s longest and most versatile hybrid club to date. For the first time ever, the M6 Rescue incorporates Twist Face technology, following the lead of its fairway and driver siblings to produce longer and straighter shots across the face. As the face of the M6 Rescue is significantly smaller than that of the M6 driver, the face curvature is thus more pronounced. As a result, the two-tone crown has been meticulously designed to mask its increased curvature.
The M6 Rescue features a low CG steel body construction with a stepped crown creating a lower CG and easy alignment. It also features a thinner and faster face for improved ball speed and overall distance. A redesigned more flexible Speed Pocket with a TPU slot insert that sits flush with the sole delivers a larger COR area with better off-center performance, especially on low-face strikes and improved turf interaction.
Specifications, Pricing & Availability
Available for preorder on January 18 and at retail on February 1, 2019 at an MSRP of $249 USD, the M6 Rescue will be offered in 3/19°, 4/22°, 5/25°, 6/28° and 7/31° lofts and come equipped with a Fujikura Atmos Orange HY shaft in 7 (S), 6 (R) or 5 (A). For women, the M6 Rescue will come in 4/22°, 5/25°, 6/28° and 7/31° lofts (RH only) and come equipped with TaylorMade’s Tuned Performance 45g L-flex shaft. The stock men’s grip is the Lamkin Dual Feel grip and the stock ladies grip is the Lamkin Comfort Plus Dual Feel grip.

Why Toyota’s GR-86 is a Legend in the Making
In 2009, when Toyota brought the FT-86 Concept to the masses, it was a bit underwhelming. Originally thought to be a new V6 hybrid Electric All-Wheel Drive platform, as hinted by the FT-HS, the naturally aspirated low power front mounted boxer engine and rear wheel drive layout disappointed many, but sent a spark throughout the touge when it was announced that it would be a continuation of the legendary AE-86.
If you have spent any amount of time in the U.S. Import car scene, you’re no stranger to the AE-86. On paper, it’s nothing special, but Toyota’s focus on balance catapulted this car to the forefront of an automotive revolution and saw mass success on trace tracks across the world for over 30 years. Then they quit. It wasn’t until 2013 that we would get the ZN6 (Toyota) and ZC6 (Subaru) chassis to reignite the revolution of the late 80’s. The success of which brought us to the car we are talking about today, the ZN8 (Toyota) and ZD8 (Subaru) GR-86. The 2022 model year GR-86 (BR-Z) changed the game during a time where the game absolutely needed changing. With an MSRP of under $30,000 usd, the GR-86 (BR-Z) was arguably one of the best looking new sports cars on the market and was relatively immune to mass mark-ups we were seeing across the country. With Ken Gushi and Jhonnattan Castro pushing the limits of the chassis on track, they sold like hotcakes to a crowd of young enthusiasts. However, Toyota missed the mark in a few places to solidify the GR-86’s (BR-Z) legend status, but a lot of aftermarket companies stepped in to filled the gap. So here are the Top 8 Performance Modifications for the GR-86 (BR-Z).
#1. HKS GT2 Supercharger Pro Kit
So with the GR-86 (BR-Z), the elephant in the room is actually not in the room at all, and that elephant is power. The 2.4 liter FA24D boxer in the GR-86 (BR-Z) makes an astounding 228 horsepower and 184 foot-pounds of torque, which is an approximate 10% increase over the previous model, but not nearly enough to keep up with its domestic counterparts. HKS, as usual, has a answer for Toyota’s power shortcomings and the answer is the HKS GT2 Supercharger Pro Kit. Unlike most aftermarket forced induction kits, HKS has designed the GT2 to utilize the factory air box keeping the intake air temps low and the noise even lower while producing nearly 300whp.
#2. GruppeM Ram Air System
If the drawbacks of forced induction are not something that interest you, one of the best ways to make power out of the factory GR-86 (BR-Z) FA24D is via the GruppeM Ram Air Intake System. Made of 100% hand laid carbon fiber, this intake wicks away heat faster than the factory intake and utilizes a GruppeM specific ram air system to bring in ambient air from the factory grille. With simple bolt-on installation, this is one of the best ways to increase power across the rev range.
#3. Cusco Rear Differential Cover
Typically when we hear of upgraded covers, we don’t necessarily associate it with performance as it simply covers the parts doing real work. This is not the case with the Cusco Differential Cover. The factory differential of the GR-86 (BR-Z) has been shown to stand up to a good amount of abuse in stock form, however if you intend to increase the power output of your GR-86(BR-Z), it is imperative that you increase the driveling cooling capability as well. With provisions for external fluid coolers, the Cusco Differential Cover adds an additional 500cc (.5 liters) of fluid capacity, features revised cooling fin design, and is made of billet aluminum, making it an upgrade over factory in every way. Whether you’re drifting or tearing up the road course, the benefits of the Cusco Differential Cover are well worth the cost.
#4. REMARK Titanium R1-Spec Catback
Let’s be real, the dual tips on the GR-86 (BR-Z) are primarily for aesthetics. While REMARK offers their Elite Spec Cat-back, Sports Touring Cat-back, and Sport Cat-back for those that wish the maintain the factory twin exhaust, they stuck to their guns and went full race car with the Titanium R1-Spec Cat-back Exhaust for the GR-86 (BR-Z). Featuring a full 2.5” run, the titanium system is designed to optimize the scavenging effects of factory and advance aftermarket headers before offering a straight shot out the rear through their 4.5 inch slant cut burnt titanium tip. While the REMARK Titanium R1-Spec Cat-back is one of the loudest exhausts on the market for the Subaru and Toyota platforms, it does so while maintaining a full bodied tone. The REMARK Titanium R1-Spec Cat-back is also the ultimate exhaust if you’re looking to see some flames from the back of your GR-86 (BR-Z).
#5. A’PEXi N1 Evolution Damper Coilovers
Toyota did a really good job of keeping body roll and the dynamic factory dampening toeing the line between daily driver and race car. However, this came at a price, a price which keeps it from reaching the esteemed JDM Legend Status. However, after mapping countless laps and road miles with the likes of Maaya Orido and Hana Burton, A’PEXi released a coilover that is completely incomparable to others on the market. A far cry from the more common N1 Type ExV, the N1 EVO was designed to be dependable, rebuildable, and without compromise. That being said, each set is custom, made to order, specifically to the demands and driving discipline of the customer, but the most basic features are a true 25-way dampening adjustment, huge lightweight monotube with a 46mm diameter piston, adjustable lower body to keep pre-load consistent, and a 65mm ID spring. Constructed in Japan, but rebuildable in Orange County, California, there’s no better coilover on the market for the GR-86.
#6. Project Mu M1 Front and Rear Brake Pads
Big brake kits are often the standardized go-to for brake upgrades, but with the GR-86, it’s hardly necessary. The ultimate upgrade for a street driven GR-86 (BR-Z) is actually one of the most affordable. The Project Mu B Force Compound is the result of over 40 years of braking compound development that gives all the benefit of a competent race pad, without the harsh counter effects on the rotors. While heat and brake fade will always be synonymous with one another, Project Mu B Force Compound brake pads are shown to outlast and outperform the factory pads utilizing the factory fluid. However, if you truly want to do hotlap after hotlap and drive you GR-86 (BR-Z) home, Project Mu has designed their G-Four 335 brake fluid to stand up to the abuse. If you’re looking for something just as good, but more readily available, I also recommend Motul DOT 5.1 brake fluid.
#7. ADRO USA Widebody Kit w/ Diffuser
While the GR-86 (BR-Z) is one of the best looking cars to come out of Toyota since the 90’s , they kept it relatively mild. While the TOM’S body kit took everyone by storm at SEMA 2023, there was another GR-86 that was all but subtle. ADRO’s GR-86 Widebody kit is one of the highest quality, most complete kits on the market. In true ADRO fashion, this body kit didn’t redesign the wheel, they broadened and perfected it. Improving on the factory curves and induction scoops, ADRO’s design is the cherry on top of a design that is truly timeless. All in hand, the GR-86 (BR-Z) is a legend in the making, but it wont get there without your vision and the highest quality parts. Whether you want to drift Ebisu or grip Fuji, the key to solidifying legend status with the GR-86 is quality parts, quality style, and top tier performance.

Official Images of the Nike SB Dunk Low "ACG Caldera"
Nike (NYSE:NKE +0.11%) ‘s skate-focused Nike SB sub-label is prepared to release its SB Dunk Low in a new “ACG Caldera” colorway. As the low-cut SB Dunk‘s name would indicate, it draws inspiration from Nike ACG‘s Caldera boot – a cult favorite ’90s hiker — and serves as an apt follow-up to 2020’s SB Dunk Low “ACG Terra.”
Featuring a full nubuck upper and a colorway that’s seemingly equal parts land and sea, this outdoor-ready Dunk combines rich “Concord” toeboxes, quarters and collars with tan mudguards, eyestays and heels. This two-tone split is accented further by a bright “Celedon” Swoosh plus a thick purple tongue with “Celedon” branding on its tag. A further logo-ed hit is supplied by the tan heel tab’s embroidered Nike graphic, and olive green laces add more contrast into the mix. Zoom Air is loaded into the insole’s heel for comfort. Down below, the look is finalized by way of a white midsole with black speckle detailing and a black outsole.
A hard release date for the Nike SB Dunk Low “ACG Caldera” has yet to be pinpointed, but it’ll likely roll out at skateshops over the course of April. The MSRP is set at $100 USD.
Moving from Nike SB to Nike Sportswear, take a look at official images of the CLOT x Nike Air Max 1 “K.O.D. CHA.”
