#005 First Blood

You punched him in the face. As hard as you could. As hard as you were sure he deserved. And considering your physical strength...it was absolutely brutal. You were confident that you had broken something.

"I knew I was right about you freaks!" He yelled out before collapsing and coughing up blood. The hit, it seemed, had broken his jaw, rendering him unable to speak. You had successfully defended yourself. However...all eyes were on you now.

Some people would be on your side, sure. Your brothers, at least, seemed to recognize what had happened and were glad you had done this. But then there were strangers. People who didn't know what you had been through. And saw a tough looking guy hit a weaker, nerdy looking guy, without any kind of context, and wound up with blood on his gloves. Perhaps they assumed you were the monster you were told you were. You wondered if that was true.

A girl in a pale blue dress with ruffled sleeves and a bag with pins on it ran over to the guy and began treating his injury. You suspect this is Bubbles, another one of the Powerpuff girls.

As you were just about to explain yourself, that same monkey mascot from the tv earlier makes another appearance, except this time in person. It's lowered from a vine. It doesn't look completely like a real monkey, instead appearing as a toy doll in black and white. At least this got the attention off of you but you worry that it's worse news.

The monkey speaks. "Now that we've had our first blood, it's time to explain why you are all here. Simply put...this is a game of trials! Deduction! Social dynamics! And of course the very best part....murder". Of course everyone looks absolutely shocked by this point, with you being no exception.

"The rules are simple. If you can kill someone, and get away with it, you get to go free. But you have to survive an investigation and trial first. And if you get caught...you forfeit your life! Now, if none of you step up and kill, I'll bring in some...extra motivations." A million questions seem to race through your mind and likely everyone elses but before you get to ask yours, the monkey mascot disappears.

All of you are left alone in the room. The blonde girl and black haired guy disappeared, seemingly to get him some kind of treatment. You turn to Blossom to ask her how you should proceed but the emo girl from earlier seems to be interrogating her. You suspect you would be ignored even if you tried to interfere.

This leaves you alone to face the others. Who would be willing to talk to a supposed violent criminal like you though?

The groups are as follows:

Your brother Butch, alongside a guy in a striped shirt and an unusually tall guy. Despite the circumstances the mood seems pretty light between them.

That insufferable Princess Morbucks, arguing with a guy in headphones and a lab coat. A black haired girl in a sparkly dress and fur shawl is watching them closely. All of them have glanced over at you multiple times.

Your brother Boomer, talking to a girl with her hair in buns wearing a frilly pink dress and ballet shoes, as well as a shorter guy who seems to smirk a lot and has white eyeshadow on. It seems like some type of negotiation but you're not sure for what.

A girl you're pretty sure is Buttercup of the Powerpuff girls talking with a guy who has grey hair and a black hat. They seem to have known each other from before this and are whispering about something.

Two new bags complete the Canyon range

GIVI launches GRT723 and GRT724, the perfect pair for adventurous bikers. With the aim of meeting all the needs of trail/adventure enthusiasts, GIVI, the transalpine brand of motorbike and motorcyclist equipment, has created the Canyon range. To achieve this, it’s opted for high quality materials and a meticulously studied design to ensure intense and prolonged use. This year, the brand has added two new additions to this family, the GRT723 with a Monokey attachment system, and the GRT724 cargo bag with double roll-top closure. It has a roll-top closure and its internal capacity can reach up to 40 litres. At the top, there is a flap with a net pocket and the classic attachment points for extra loads established by the M.O.L.L.E. system. At the ends there are several straps for attaching additional loads. On the inside, it’s equipped with a waterproof, removable, fluorescent yellow bag with roll-top closure. From an aesthetic point of view, it stands out for its compactness and rectangular shape. Once unhooked from the bike, it can be carried as a shoulder bag and by means of a handle. GRT724 The GRT724 is a 12-litre heat-sealed saddle bag that can be attached to an aluminium side case(straps included) and even to the CANYON BASE GRT721. It can also be combined with the GRT723. We got our hands on a pre-production set of GRT720 Canyon Side Bags from Givi for some early testing. These rugged, waterproof, 50-liter (total) soft bags have been designed with the off-road traveler in mind and feature a 1200D polyester body with a polyurethane coating for extra durability. An outer protective flap, with a built-in mesh pocket, gives additional abrasion protection plus, eight quick-release tension straps let you conveniently secure loose items inside the outer flap or compress the bags down to reduce the overall width of your bike when not carrying a full load. Extra material in the roll-top opening makes it easy to get a water-tight seal, and the rigid thermoformed backing plate allows you to firmly snap them in place on GIVI racks using the Monokey latch system with a satisfying “click.” This makes them easily interchangeable with a set of GIVI Trekker hard boxes as well, so you can quickly switch luggage systems depending on the ride. And if you want to expand capacity, there are also 8 side loops for attaching auxiliary bags.
