The Amazing Mary Jane in “3:33 A.M. Conversations”

September 13th, 2003. As the clock strikes 3:33 AM, Mary Jane Watson just confirmed an appointment without knowing. Now, she must venture between dreams and nightmares to arrive on time… before her mind and soul succumb to insanity and darkness!

First of all, this is a work of fan fiction made by me! I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed creating it. I love MJ Watson and I wanted to highlight her value and importance as a character within the Spider-Man mythos. Also, I don't like the OMD story, so a certain cosmic demon-like entity may get what he deserves… kinda.

As you may have noticed, this 3-part story is set in 2003. That means it's taking place during the Straczynski/Romita Jr. run, specifically after Peter and MJ get back together.

This fan fiction isn't perfect, of course: I wanted to improve my writing/drawing skills, but I really pushed outside of my comfort zone, so… I sincerely apologize in advance if you find mistakes in writing (for English isn't my native language) or in drawings (perspectives really said bye-bye!). This story may have flaws, but it was made with love 💖

One thing to note: IT'S STILL NOT FINISHED. I'm expecting to finish it by the end of the year, but I'm currently in med school, and this project might get delayed a little bit… but I promise: it will get done (my dad, a hardcore Spider-Man fan, is making sure of that by constantly asking me for updates 😆)

"hey, so i'm trying to get this fundraiser for the clinic in town, what do you think would go better a music themed event like a karaoke kind of night at one of the bars or a trivia night?"

"i feel like there should be a seasonal flavors shop year round, like if i'm craving pumpkin still i should be able to have it." mj replied. she didn't know if she would want all the flavors, but she would want the options of it.

❝ right!? ❞ gwen agreed, shaking her head in disbelief. ❝ i feel like i had just gotten used to having pumpkin spice lattes back and then all of a sudden there's peppermint mocha slapping me in the face. ❞

she wanted to question the hesitation he had given. but mj didn't feel like she should. or maybe it was that she could ask. "i think people might be more sober if we played trivia." mj replied. she didn't know if that was necessarily true, but she certainly thought you might have to be a bit more sober to play trivia than you would to do karaoke. "but a combination of events might be too much."

peter stares at mary jane, lips parted in shock. first gwen, now mary jane ? was this an episode of the twilight zone ? it takes a moment for the question to settle, blinking and shaking his head back into reality. “ sorry, ” he starts, licking his lips and giving a shrug. “ i'd personally be more into trivia, but i think others would enjoy karaoke more. ”
