Fusion of Jack Walten and Mirror Man (inspired from steven universe)

I thought this would be a fun little practice, and I might do more of these in the future. This would be a platonic bromance fusion, since both of them canonically have wives.

Anyway, I had an idea that since they're 6'05" and I headcanon the grandpa being 6'04", Mirror Man would run in being taller within the fusion despite his dad not giving a crap about this.

Also for drama and stuff I think this fusion would get into some quarrels, but I have an idea that people within a fusion can see each other's memories, which would reveal some parts of each other that they've kept hidden to everyone.

This is allowed within the ask the goofy gang if you're interested in seeing it within, I'll try to get the motivation to work on other fusions with the goofy gang but atm I'm tired from family issues and just wanna sleep to calm down. Though I'll probably read fanfiction instead lol

Uhh angst if Peter B Parker ever for whatever reason mentioned Skip Westcott to Mason James he would lose his shit he would lose what is left of his mind because that boy is NOT stable. Knowing that Skip was not in fact a one time one universe thing would drive him over the edge.

Unlike Miles and Mason who have a great relationship as friends and lovers because they bring to each others lives what the other needs and their souls compliment each other so perfectly like puzzle pieces that fit beside each other.

Mason and Gwen have a strained complicated relationship because they remind each other of what once was. Of everything that was stolen and ripped away from them. They see what they once had and what they lost in each other. Hc that Mason kind of, just vaguely resembles Peter. Gwen looks at him and she can see that it’s not Peter, just someone who looks like him but it still makes her ache inside. Mason looks at Gwen and it’s like he’s seeing a ghost for a minute every time because he can’t remember specifically what Somebody’s (his sister) facial features looked like. He looks at Gwen and he sees a blonde girl his age, who’s roughly the same height as him with eyes that he thinks might look like Somebody’s. Gwen can look at Mason and tell he’s not Peter, while Mason looks at Gwen and for a split second every time thinks he’s looking at Somebody and after that second when he knows it’s not his sister he’s freaked out even more.

Still establishing lore but okay. MJ (Mason James) Walten meets Miles in ITSV, does not appear in the timeline of ATSV, he’s back in his universe being a self made teenage detective, Gwen comes to recruit him for help at the end, I do eventually want him to somehow get to earth 42 and meet 42 miles idk I think it’d be cool chat I LOVE Mason James he’s literally such a cutie

After Mason James stumbles into Peter B Parker’s dimension and is kind of dying after Mary Jane nurses him back to health he goes back to his own dimension he finds a stray orange cat in the alley by his apartment and picks it up and brings it inside. He names it MJ.

Mason James Walten and Gwen Stacy who have to choke back and hold in sobs while looking at each other when they meet again (sometime after atsv) because of who they like look like.

Mason James Walten spins a web and gets Miguel caught in it after he nearly KILLS MILES and Mason’s taken off his Spider-Man suit he’s not Spider-Man now he’s Mason James and it’s like that scene from that Batman video game and Miguel’s like ‘you ain’t gonna kill me, you ain’t gonna kill me!’ And Mason’s like ‘Do I look like Spider-Man to you?’ Because it’s established amongst his lore there’s a big difference between Spider-Man and Mason James Walten. Spider-Man isn’t a thief. Spider-Man isn’t technically a cannibal. Spider-Man is not a killer. Spider-Man is a hero, Mason James Walten is on the blurred line of hero and anti-hero.

Being around Gwen makes him feel like he used to feel with Somebody, like nothings changed and he is still the very same because he cannot view her entirely as her own person, in his mind she is both not his sister because nobody could ever be Somebody but she is also extension of Somebody. She’s almost Somebody.

While Miles isn’t Somebody he is Mason’s friend, a genuine healthy friendship. Mason is getting the colour back friendship had given him before it was ripped from him and he lost his colour and spark, and Miles can see that because he remembers what Mason was like when they’d first met and Mason James Walten was bitter about everything.

Mason’s laughing the way he used to laugh with Somebody. He’s happy again, not as much as when he had his sister but he is happy, and Miles laughs like Somebody did in the sense the two of them will laugh about anything and everything as long as they’re together.
