I love how they have switched the general conscious that is drilled in our heads about light and dark. light in the digital circus is overwelming and a reminder of their multi-colored bubblegum plastic prison. It's flashy and hurts because we've seen our protagonists, our view into this world, be disgruntled and annoyed and traumatized in these colors. To this media, those flashy colors hurt. But the dark has been a calming reset, a distraction that cloaks the people in it with calmness. Not always happy, of course. Simply...real. The conversation with gumigoo and pomni last episode is something that comes to mind. It's not evil or good, it's simply a tone reseter. One of the only ways the circus inhabitants have shown some....calmness?

I wrote this in the comments of the newest episode but still I think it's a banger soo...

these two are actually everything. I need them to hug and cry together in the dark.

Since Zane is so good with birds, what if after the tournament of elements he trained a bunch of birds to poop on his statue because ain’t no way is he gonna have a statue of himself in the middle of ninjago. Get rid of it immediately. His embarrassment just keeps getting higher each time he sees tourists take a photo of it.

You know, I've always found it a bit interesting that Birdperson and Squanchy were ever in the same friend group, considering Birdperson's disdain for cats and the fact that Squanchy is obviously a type of feline-esque species.

I mean, damn... He even asked him to officiate his wedding.

Even the vows were pretty cat-negative.

Maybe I just interpreted the species coding incorrectly or something, idk.

The more I think about it, though, the more I miss Squanchy. We deserve more of this lil dude!
