"I grant I never saw a goddess go" Minho whispered, cheeks tainting red watching a bronze-haired boy run past him. The older chuckled and stuffed his hands into his coat, a lovesick smile playing on his lips "If love was destined, my love we'll meet again," he said, taking the seat on the barren swings by the playground. Soft swings as the first snowfall of the year started, dusting the older in its white fur. Minho checked his watch "Few more minutes," he mumbled, inhaling deeply. Warm puffs of air escaped his parted lips, the epitome of beauty, The swing jostled, signifying another player in his socialising game.

Minho turned his head, gasping softly "It's you," he whispered, tilting his head gently. Jisung chuckled softly "It is I," he said, kicking the layer of snow that started to build. Minho hummed "Weren't you in a rush earlier?" he asked, studying the younger's outfit. Jisung nodded with a sigh "I was but luck stayed as I made it in time," he said, smiling brightly. Minho felt his heart warm from within, burning through his coat "Luck should always stay for a goddess," he said, smiling genuinely. Light blush dusted over Jisung's plump rosy cheeks, "I am no goddess," he retorted.

The older shook his head, "Just by hearing your voice, warmth beams through this chilling noon," he said, looking at the younger. Jisung gulped and cleared his throat "May I know the name of the man sending me all this praise?" he asked, huffing out a warm breath. Minho gasped softly "I didn't realise, I'm known as Minho to most people," he said, smiling warmly. Jisung chuckled softly "I didn't realise as well, this warmth seems too familiar," he said, smiling fondly. "Jisung is what you can call me," he added, showing his slight gums through his smile.

Minho nodded "A beautiful name," he said, rubbing his hands. Jisung scoffed softly "I am not the prettiest rose in the bush, Minho," he mumbled, fidgeting with his fingers. Minho frowned slightly "That doesn't mean you're not a rose nonetheless," he said, taking the younger's hand. Jisung sighed softly "I'm more of a daisy in between of a bush of roses, there's no space for delicacy in this world," he said, biting his bottom lip. Minho rubbed his thumb over the younger's palm "If you are the daisy within the roses, I'll admire you the longest," he said, nodding sternly.

Jisung furrowed his eyebrows "Why would you do that for someone like me?" he asked, genuinely surprised by the older's words. "If you were the daisy, the number of thorns that blocked your way to the sun, to fight your way through the roses that people compare, how could I dare but not respect and admire that strength," he spilt, looking into the younger's eyes. Jisung felt a tear drip down his rosy cheeks "I am nothing more than a pitiful daisy, always living on the edge just to survive," he confessed. Minho frowned and gently brushed the younger's tears away "Then allow me to show you, goddess," he said, looking at the younger.

The younger frowned "I'm not letting you waste your time nurturing a daisy, Minho," he said, sniffling softly. Minho smiled fondly "I am nurturing none, for I just want to help you see yourself through my eyes," he confessed, rubbing the younger's hands together. Jisung bit his tongue. Minho noticed and stroked his cheek gently "My dear goddess, we don't have to rush, through the heavens such love is rare, I myself have already known this fact, we may slowly get to know each other instead of laying your life to me, how could I dare to behold such pureness," he said, stroking the younger's hair.

Jisung took in a shuddering breath "I am willing to see what you see of me, I hand you my trust to protect the daisy," he said, smiling softly. Minho smiled gently "Thank you for such a chance, shall we go warm ourselves up with the ambience of a cafe?" he asked, dusting the snow off the younger. Jisung giggled softly, linking his hand with Minho's "For it to be you who guides me, a cafe would be great," he said, dusting the snow off the older's coat.

Minho smiled warmly "Let's go to a cafe, warmth would be the best for the both of us, though each time you smile, the light from your radiance is still able to warm my heart," he said, smiling brightly. Jisung giggled and pushed the older softly "Stop with your honey-laced words," he said, bright blush coating his rosy cheeks. Minho smiled watching the younger get flustered. 'That music hath a far more pleasing sound' he thought, humming softly, embracing the gentle voice of the goddess who is belied with false compare.

The Soulmate Paradox

AN: **Spoilers? for Squid Game

saw a tiktok edit about if Minsung were to ever play the marble game in Squid Game AND I JUST TO WRITE ABOUT IT 🥲

Genre: Angst, [Sad ending :( ]

“Please choose a partner to compete with in the next round”

Minho turns to his left and sees a jumping smiley Jisung, grabbing onto Minho’s arms and flailing them around. 

“Hyung! You’re gonna pick me right? We’re a power team don’t denyyyy” 

Minho smirks in feigned annoyance and nods his head. Jisung leaves out a sigh of relief and shakes his hand with the elder’s. After everyone else had picked their partners, the instructors all then began guiding the players to another area to play the game. As they made their way there, Jisung continued on ranting about what they could do with the money if they were to win together.

“We could save half the money and still buy anything we want! You know what I want? I wanna travel the world and see everything. And you’re gonna come with me! You could bring Soonie, Doongi and Dori too; I’ll bring Bbama. We’re rich so they’ll let us take our pets too!” Jisung continued rambling on to Minho. Hearing the name of his cats made a small smile grow on Minho’s face. They then finally arrived at the next playing room. 

“Each team, please follow your respective instructors to your designated area of play.”

Minho and Jisung (now practically locking arms courtesy of Jisung) followed their instructor to another corner of the room - which had the interior of an old home village.

“Please take a bag each from the instructor in front of you” Their instructor then extends his arms and hands them a bag each. As the both of them open the small bags, they find 10 marbles inside. 

“Marbles!! We played this all the time whenever we were bored, this is a sure win Hyung!” Jisung excitedly pats Minho on the shoulder with his bag of marbles. 

“The rules of the game are simple. Each of you will be given 10 marbles in a bag. You may decide which marble game you wish to play with your partner. The player that earns all the 20 marbles by the end of 30 minutes - will be deemed the winner.”

There was then a moment of silence amongst the players. Minho glances slowly at Jisung, only to face him having the same blank facial expression. Too many thoughts were running in both their heads, no one could say anything. Even with their dismay still processing, the instructors began to lead the individual teams to their respective places. 

“So…” Jisung finally breaks the silence between the two. Minho then finds himself blankly walking towards a small flight of stairs and takes a seat, keeping his head low. Jisung follows him slowly and leans against the wall next to him. Jisung tried to read the expression on his partner’s face, but could not get anything out of it. 

“What game do you think we should play..?” 

“Let’s just do all or nothing. One game” 

“What kinda game?”

“Are you in a rush to kill me or something?” Minho jokingly scoffs at Jisung’s questions. All Jisung could do was laugh uncomfortably in attempts to break the palpable tension. Minho’s comment managed to ease some of it off. 

“We have 30 minutes, let’s just play it near the end”

“Well what are we supposed to do until then?”

“Talk.” Minho bluntly replies before finally lifting his head to face Jisung, his renowned warm smile finally showing. Hearing his suggestion, Jisung sighs and slides down the wall. He then makes his way towards Minho and takes a seat next to him. 

“Okay. What do you wanna talk about?”

“I don’t know, We talk nearly everyday but never about the deep stuff. You can start with that; just tell me anything you want to”

“Hah, anything?”

“Yeah I mean, one of us is gonna die anyway, no point keeping a secret anymore” Jisung chuckles at how transparent Minho is about their inevitable fate. He straightens his back only to slouch again, visibly trying to remember something.

“Right okay. Since you’re asking about a deep dark secret; I once use your toothbrush”

“WHAT. You’re kidding right..”

“Yeah, I actually used it more than once”. Minho goes wide-eyed after hearing Jisung’s confession. All he hears back is a stifled laugh coming from Jisung, finding Minho’s bewilderment amusing. Soon after Minho finally found the story amusing and laughs along. 

“I did not expect THAT kind of confession but okay.”

“Okay okay let me be real this time. You know what I want us to do? Go to Paris together.” 

“Well that’s awfully random.”

“Yeah well, Whenever we go on dates out together we’re always visiting different cafes and well, I thought it’d be such a fun thing for us to do that in another foreign city...we could try hunting down a cafe that has the best cheesecake and iced americano. Then we could walk along The Seine and finally be at peace from all the stress and chaos we go through you know?” Jisung blurts out all at once, pausing for a while to scoff to himself.

“Now that I say it outloud it sounds kinda stupid-”

“No. It isn’t stupid.” Minho cuts him off. He continues on, 

“Sounds pretty nice actually. I’d like that.” Jisung sighs in relief and smiles at his partner, who was already smiling back at him. 

“What about you?”

“What about me?”

“What’s something you’d wanna do when we get out?”

“Don’t know actually. I never thought about it. It’s not like I have much to think about either.” Minho laughs softly as he plays with his fingers. Jisung takes his time to just look at his hyung, wondering what is going on in his head.”

“Well that’s okay. My plan is solid enough for the both of us”

“You’re right”

“That’s a first.” Minho was about to retort at Jisung’s response but ended up just giggling away. The two of them then sit in silence, just enjoying each other’s presence that would soon be something of a memory. After some time Minho looks up at the giant digital clock and sighs at the amount of time they have left together.

“There’s 8 minutes left”

“Oh.”

“Let’s play.” Minho gets up and wipes down his jogger pants, grabbing his bag of marbles and patting Jisung’s shoulder on the way down the steps. All Jisung’s eyes could do was follow his movements before slowly getting up himself, unprepared to see the result of the game they were about to play. They both now stand facing in front of a land of space with a wall at the end.

“Let’s each throw a marble in this direction, whoever has their marble closer to the wall wins.” Minho explains to Jisung, gesturing the way to play. Jisung nods in approval and smiles at him, still saddened at the fact that there was no good outcome to the end of this game. Minho gestures to Jisung to go first, before stepping aside to let the younger take his throw. Jisung rolls the marble between his fingers for a moment,  staring blankly at the transparent ball with colourings inside. He looks at the path and takes a deep breath. Finally, he throws his marble - it rolls and creates a good distance between itself and where Jisung was standing. Not caring about the position of his marble, he turns to Minho.”

“Your turn”

“Okay.”

Minho takes his step this time, holding his marble in hand and turning to Jisung one last time. He then turns back and stares at Jisung’s marble which sits far away from him. Minho then smiles to himself - before letting his hand go loose and dropping his marble right to the floor. 

Confused, Jisung looks at the marbles, then to Minho. 

“What the hell are you doing-”

“I lost. You won.” 

“What? You can’t do this. Throw it again.” Jisung quickly grabs Minho’s marble and shoves it to Minho. Minho let the marble fall out of his hands once again.

“No, you won Jisung. I guess my hands just aren’t working right now”

“You- you can’t just do this...Hyung!” Jisung begins tearing up as he continues to hit Minho against the wall he was leaning on. With shaking hands, Jisung picks the marble up once again and shows it to Minho. 

“Throw it again. I am not having this…”

“I only have you.”

“..What?”

“The only thing I ever look forward to in life - is you.” Minho slowly smiles at Jisung, who still has his hands tightly grabbed onto his shoulders.

“This entire game, I can’t even think of anything to look forward to, even if so much money to be won. I guess I just don’t care as much about anything. But you, you have dreams Jisung-ah. I see so much light and hope in you to do great things in the future.” Minho softly tells his partner as his hands slowly let go of him. 

“Is that why you wanted to play this way? To make sure I'd win?” As if ignoring everything Minho had just said, Jisung screams in anger with tears running down his cheeks. Minho now had tears brimming his eyes. 

“Go to Paris okay? Take Bbama with you - maybe Soonie, Doongi and Dori too. Find a nice cafe, drink iced americano and eat the best cheesecake in the city. Then write a song about it. A really good one.” Minho’s voice quavers as he stares into Jisung’s eyes, trying to enjoy the last moments left that he had to look at him. As if in defeat, Jisung finally lets go of his hyung completely, before hugging him tightly for the last time, tightly knowing this was his final goodbye.

They stay in each others’ arms as the clock begins to tick to the final seconds left. 

“All players have 30 seconds left to play.”

The duo took that announcement as a signal and finally let go of each other. Not being able to bear the pain anymore, Jisung looks at Minho one last time, before slowly turning away and following the instructor out of the playing room.

“Jisung-ah!”

Jisung stops in his tracks and turns to the direction of his name being called.

“Thank you, for being my soulmate. I love you. Always.”

Jisung turns back around. A loud gunshot is heard causing him to flinch and shiver. 

“I love you too, Minho.”

Navinci’s workshop in Paris - Fan Account

I went to the workshop with a friend and we were meeting up with other participants we had talked with online an hour early. Everyone was so nice and so happy to be there! At one point, I saw Minsung going into the dance studio and started freaking out! So yeah, I made a great first impression.

We were then lining up to take the polaroids and group pictures. Polaroids were first to go, and I was at the front of the line. The staff asked us to think of a pose to do for the picture but I was freaking out so much my mind was completely blank and I ended up standing awkwardly next to him.

We I went to him for the picture, I said hi with the biggest smile so that he’d knew I was happy to be here and also to kind of make up for being a total groupie earlier. He said hi back (because he’s a very polite person) and gave me a tiny smile (He seemed kind of shy? Maybe because he wasn’t sure what to expect of us and how we were gonna act, and I can’t blame him for that tbh).

Once all the pictures were taken, the staff led us to the dance studio. My friends and I changed as quickly as possible so that we could be in front (lol). Before Minsung came in, the staff gave us a couple of rules (like don’t run at him, touch him, scream etc. and shout out to the French translator who was hilarious and kept making jokes, she really helped defuse the tension because we were all nervous as FUCK). Then Minsung came in, greeted us, introduced himself and then the class started.

SLUT LIKE YOU

Just so you know, Minsung is an AMAZING teacher! He talked mostly in English (credits to him for doing that because he did struggle to find his words but he made sure we all understood what he was telling us) and he would always take the time to help us understand what we had to do and let us take our time to learn and memorize the choreo. He was very patient with us and I love him for that!

He’s also the sassiest person alive. Especially during slut like you, showing us movements as “bitch slaps”, making faces and teaching us how to do his famous walk and even telling us, to boost our confidence: “who runs the world? Girls!”

At the end of the class, he separated us into three different groups to dance the choreo with him. At one point, he asked me and another girl to change groups and I kind of freaked out internally because he pointed at him and said “you go to group A” and in my head I was just like “omg he’s talking to ME!”

He then chose one of my friends and another girl to dance “Slut Like You” while being filmed by the staff and at the end, my friend went into complete freestyle mode and she was AMAZING!!! I’m sure she made Minsung very proud to have her as a student! He also danced to “Slut Like You” himself and it was AMAZING!! And everyone was hyping the shit out of him, which was pretty awesome!

Before we had to go change, Minsung asked us to sit down next to him. He started asking us where we were from, who was from Paris, how old we were and if some of us were dancers and whose dream was it to not be a dancer. A bunch of us raised our hands and he asked us individually what our dream was. At that moment, I was looking at him and I realized it was all real. He was there, in front of me and had just taught me one of his choreos, which has been my dream for 4 years. That’s when I started crying.

Minsung then turned to me and asked me “What’s your dream” immediately followed by “Oh, why are you crying???”, everyone around me went “Awe don’t cry!” (which made me cry even more tbh, I was a whole mess) and then Minsung threw his sweat-covered towel at me (which was hilarious omg thank you for making me smile). I then told him it had been my dream for 4 years to get a dance class from him because he was my favorite dancer and he was like “Really? Four years??”. He had a hard time believed I’ve been a fan of his and admiring him for so long. After that, I told him I wanted to be a nail technician and then showed my nails, since I had done a special Navinci nail art for the workshop. He took my hand, looked at my nails while smiling and then kept my hand in his a little longer. We looked at each other in the eyes and just kept thanking each other. That’s something I’ll never forget.

He went on to tell us that we needed to chase our dreams, to be prepared for the hardships to come and to never give up. In the end, we are all artists and need to be proud of our creations. Show it to the world, be proud of yourself and all your hard work. And if it breaks? It’s okay. Keep going, repair it so that you can make it even better.

Minsung truly is an inspiration and a few others started crying at that point. His speech really was beautiful and inspiring. I’ll never forget what he told us and I will always remember his words to keep myself going.

MOVE

Since there were a lot of new people for this class, the beginning was the same. Pictures were taken, we changed, staff gave the rules and Minsung came in.

For “Move”, we actually learned 2 choreos in one. The chorus was Taemin’s but the beginning was Minsung’s creation. And of course, it was voguing! While he was teaching us a particularly difficult hand movement, he went to every student to check how everyone was doing and took the time to correct us if we made mistakes and show us again how to do it properly. When it was my turn, I was thinking “don’t fuck up don’t fuck up don’t fuck up don’t fuck up” and I couldn’t look at him while doing it because I was so nervous. When I was done, I looked at him for his reaction and he looked at me with his eyes wide open and said “very gooood!” and I died a little bit inside.

His part was really beautiful and I was so happy that I finally got to learn some voguing (especially since it was taught by Minsung). It was pretty tough but I think I managed to do it quite well. Minsung apparently thought so too.

Just like for “Slut Like You”, he picked two students to be filmed dancing with him. And he picked me. He pointed at me, said “you go to the front”, picked another student to do the same and then played the music before joining us. I was sooooooooo nervous but I honestly think I did really well and I can’t wait for the video to be released! I was proud of myself and my friends were hyping me up so much, it made me really happy.

SCISSORHANDS

Yup. That’s right. We also learned the choreo to “Scissorhands”! I was so happy because I love this choreo soooooo much and have been wanting to learn it for a long time and I can’t believe I actually got to do it. It’s so hard though, the movements aren’t just difficult, you also need to do them very fast (I don’t think anyone managed to do it at full speed). We first learned the hand movements while sitting down before the steps and body movements. In the end, Minsung chose two students again to dance with him and he actually hesitated before deciding not to pick me, which made me feel pretty happy again (and I was also glad he didn’t pick me to be filmed dancing “Scissorhands” because I couldn’t memorize the choreo well enough, I would’ve just looked stupid).

He then danced to “Scissorhands” by himself and it was just beautiful. He is such an amazing dancer and we were so lucky to see him and learn from him.

After the class ended, I got to see him one last time in front of the dance studio building. My friends and I were trying to decide on where to spend the rest of the day when he came out. We said goodbye to him and he gave us the most beautiful eye smile I’ve ever seen.

That’s where it ends for me. I know what happened at the dinner event because my friends got to go but I don’t feel like it’s my story to tell. Just know that Minsung really does know all of us from social media; he knew the people going to the dinner because he had been stalking them for who knows how long! So if you’ve left comments on his pictures, he saw it. If you posted fanart, he saw it. So please, keep sending him love because he really deserves it, and I don’t think he realizes how much he means to us. We need to show that he is important and how he has had such an amazing and positive impact on our lives. He really deserves it.

This was literally the best day of life. I got to meet one of my idols and one of my biggest dreams came true. I also got to meet a lot of amazing people. It was so nice to see people that have been supporting Minsung and ToppDogg for so long and I got to meet people that I’ve only seen online, it was amazing! I will never forget them because they too, made this day beautiful.

To be honest, I believe Korea is not used to queer people yet. Due to this, the people with many identities under the title of queer often hide, or fight, or even just don’t pay any attention/don’t care. This kind of truth is not only "true" but also ironically there are people trying to erase the identities of queer people.

I find it so unfortunate that people have to seek the agreement of others when it is simply people loving other people, and also for the reason that we are different, it makes us lower members of society. To be honest there is no reason for me to have to upload this officially, but only now do I carefully voice my thoughts. Thinking on the confusing days, I wish that the word "queer" did not even exist in the world. I wondered, "how great would it be if the "rules" for loving and the world was so free that we would not even need the word "queer"." Because of my struggles, and the many people who were curious about my queer identity, and the people who hated me for being different from others, and the many people who asked me questions in order to help understand and find their own identities, I am uploading this in order to give strength and hope to others. Many say that there is no right answer in the world. Yes that is right. To be honest even I am in a position where I cannot fully provide the answer that I am asexual and aromantic. So I have made the decision to not be trapped in their opinions/views. That does not mean I am ignoring this important part of my identity. Since I have focused on loving myself and my sexuality, I found that the harsh words of others no longer affect me. Yes. I am not attracted to the opposite sex. As of now I am also not attracted to those of the same sex. I do not feel the need to date and I really really do not like sex. That is who I am now, and this truth is fun to me and I like it. You can do it, people like me are also living well and happily. Do not turn your ears to those words of others. You are most important and precious.

Kakao Games to Publish New Bluehole MMORPG Ascent: Infinite Realm in the West

Today, Kakao Games has announced that it will be publishing the new MMORPG Ascent: Infinite Realm, or A:IR, in Western territories. This upcoming MMORPG for PC is being developed by Bluehole, a leading South Korean studio known for the highly successful Tera and their recent blockbuster hit PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds.

A:IR was unveiled during today’s G-Star Bluehole media showcase in Busan, South Korea. The media briefing showcased A:IR’s open world―marrying a steampunk setting with high fantasy magical elements―as well as the Realm vs Realm (RvR) aerial combat feature that pits all kinds of fantastical ships against one another. A:IR will be playable at the Bluehole booth (A04) during the G-Star exhibition, held at the Busan Exhibition & Convention Center (BEXCO).

Kakao Games expects to prepare a first Beta test for Ascent: Infinite Realm in the first half of 2018. Initially, Kakao Games intends to localize the game in English, German, and French.

In RvR, factions fight for fame and glory, taking turns to lead offensive and defensive efforts using all kinds of flying vehicles. Players can also join the fight from the ground with mechs and anti-air artillery to fight airborne threats―or initiate ground based aerial attacks depending on the map and strategy. Various strategic weapons such as cannons, mines, and attack buffs are at each faction’s disposal to tip the balance in their favour. The combination of ground-based and aerial combat makes each fight challenging and dynamic.

KEEPING IT PERSONALIZED

Most of A:IR’s content is highly customizable, allowing players to tailor detailed aspects of their play experience and unleash their creativity. An airship, for instance, can have its type, appearance, color, and performance modified. Players can even create their own quests, alter their hunting grounds, and change the difficulty when battling monsters in dungeons or hunting areas.
