Hyunjin has a serious problem with cute aggression, especially when it comes to you.

• For example, in the mornings

"Good morninggg" you said without opening your eyes, still half asleep, smiling when you woke up feeling Hyunjin hugging you.

"AHH, HOW CAN YOU BE SO CUTE?!" Hyunjin felt like the luckiest person in the world for having you as the first thing he saw when he woke up. He cupped your cheeks in his hands and started showering you with kisses all over your face.

"Hyunjin, wait" you said between laughs, trying to pretend you were annoyed.

"Why?" Five kisses on your right cheek. "How can you be that...?" Another three kisses on your left cheek. "Freaking gorgeous." Lots and lots of sweet kisses on your lips.

When he finally let you go, you were dazed from the overwhelming amount of aggressive affection he had just given you.

"You’re so weird..." you gave him a look, but the smile on your lips betrayed you.

• Or at breakfast

You were eating together while watching a drama.

You were so focused on how the characters were fighting over the female lead, dipping your cookies in milk without even looking and bringing them to your mouth, surprised by the plot twist.

Hyunjin felt like he was going to die from love.

He started making whiny noises, making you look at him immediately.

"Babe, what’s wrong?" you asked, concerned.

"I’m going to cry because you’re so cute" he laughed while trying to continue his fake crying act.

You rolled your eyes.

"I literally didn’t do anything..." you said, not understanding his reaction.

"That’s why I want to cry! How can you look so cute doing literally nothing? I hatelove you so much."

Before you could escape, he hugged you from behind, holding you tightly while kissing your neck.

That day, Hyunjin had brought you flowers without reason. When he gave them to you, you thanked him and smiled.

Big mistake.

"HYUNJIN, ARE YOU CRAZY?" you ran for your life. Hyunjin had just whispered, "I’m going to bite your cheeks off." What was wrong with him??

"Come on, please! I need to vent. You can’t smile that cutely and expect me not to want to bite your cheeks" he pouted while following you. He caught up to you.

"Hyunjin, what the hell…?" You didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. He was so in love it was starting to get weird.

Then he began to gently bite your cheeks, leaving sweet kisses on them afterward.

• Let’s not forget when you wear his hoodie

After taking a shower, you went for the coziest outfit you could find to stay at home. That warm hoodie of Hyunjin’s looked so inviting, so you put it on.

"Are you trying to kill me...?" he murmured with wide, deer-like eyes, mouth slightly open, looking you up and down.

"Huh?" you looked at him confused.

You blinked, and he was already messing up your hair.

"AHGGG!! You look so cute. Keep all my clothes if you want" he genuinely looked like he was about to explode.

At first, you fought him off, but in the end, you just gave up.

• When you sleep

Hyunjin got home late from work, exhausted and missing you. He opened the door and nearly cried from love.

You were sleeping on the couch, hugging a Jiniret, your mouth slightly open, your lashes pointing down, a little drool at the corner of your lips, your hair beautifully messy.

If it weren’t for the fact that you’d kill him for waking you up, he would have already been on top of you, hugging you and not letting go.

He doesn’t know how, but he restrained himself. He just took a picture and set it as his wallpaper.

You were watching TikTok on the couch when, out of nowhere, you felt Hyunjin’s weight crushing you.

"AABSSBSBAHJABABAHAJABABW" he babbled nonsense and started biting your arm.

"Bro, wtf?" you looked at him amused. "Can you explain what’s happening now?" you raised an eyebrow.

"BSBSNDBANZ" he responded, then began kissing your face desperately.

"I just hope you don’t have rabies…"

•When you’re cooking and he comes up behind you, trapping you and leaving you no way to escape while hugging you.

•When he sees you doing your makeup and can’t resist kissing your lips carelessly, just because your lipstick made him fall in love and he needs to have that pink from YOUR lips.

•When you come out of the shower and he grabs your cheeks for at least 10 minutes, making your face turn red.

•When you sneeze and he swears you’re a kitten. When you wrinkle your nose, he probably fainted.

This was supposed to be a fun evening. All of your friends, birthday cake, music, overall fun. Yet, everything was ruined by a single message from your beloved boyfriend, who said that he won’t be able to make it. You knew weeks ahead of the party, yes, but it still stung.

You tried to have fun, took shots with your friends, danced to music, but nothing felt as good as it would if Hyunjin was right by your side.

Maybe you were a little dramatic, but you just wanted him to be there. All of your worries were gone the moment he was next to you, he made you happy. What were you supposed to do once you were without him? That thought actually never crossed your mind. It didn’t have to, since you and Hyunjin were basically one person at this point.

So there you were, in your own bathroom, tears staining your cheeks at your own birthday party. It was not so fun after all. You calmed down a little bit, composing yourself to get back to your guests, trying to make yourself look more stable than you actually were.

Immediately after stepping back into your garden where the party was happening, you notice people giggling and whispering. The music stopped and everything went quiet. Just as you thought that this day couldn’t get any worse and that your friends hate you, a fmailiar beat started playing. “So good” by your own boyfriend. You turn around and you freeze.

A huge jiniret mascot enters your view and you try to figure out what the fuck is going on. The huge ferret starts dancing and moving around to the music, not missing a single beat. All of his moves, the way he flawlessly swayed to the rhytm, it all looked too familair for it to be a random person under the costume.

You start to relax, a ton of tension leaving your body just enough for you to enjoy your party again.

The pathetic performance ended and the crowd made out of your friends erupted into cheer and applause. You were still in a bit of shock, but you lived jiniret so much, you just couldn’t resist running up to him and hugging him tightly with a huge grin on your face.

You pull back from the hug only to look up at the animal’s huge eyes staring down at you like you’re an artwork which belongs in a museum. At this point, you knew who was hinding under that stupidly cute costume.

“I love you” You whisper, loud enough just for him to hear.

In that moment, it felt like it was only the two of you, and it was more than enough to make you feel like the luckiest in the world.

Because you were.

you were laying in bed, naked with hyunjin. taking in each other's presence, in the night sky. The rooftop of your apartment during the summer evenings were always the go place where you and hyunjin entangled your bodies, your souls together. there really was no one like him, and to him there was no one like you.

he breathed in your sent, the smell of your shampoo, and the hint smell of sweat and sex you shared with him. looking up at the sky and the constellations were always special.

he recently got an offer to demonstrate his paintings at a high prestigious art gallery. a dream of his, to show off his artwork. to tell about the meanings of his art and the significance of why he painted them. his dream to be seen and known as a true artist. who came from the ground up.

but the offer was thousands of miles, across the world, away. he wanted to tell you, but he was scared that this could be the end of the beautiful relationship he so adored. he would start hinting at it, occasionally during dates, hangouts, or after sex.

you always told him, if the chance ever came, that he should follow his dreams.

"but what if it meant leaving you..." he hestaintly said.

"i would rather see you happy and chase your dreams then be miserable and upset around me" you chuckled.

he let out a small chuckle, almost a huff of a breath. he just stayed quiet and kept holding you, taking in this moment with you.

he had already accepted the offer to leave overseas.. he hasnt told you yet because he knew this would start an argument.. but he couldnt bare not you knowing where he went.

its only a few hours left before heading towards the airport. he wrote you a letter, expressing his guilt and his sorry's

y/n... my beautiful girl... im writing to you because im a coward, im a coward and knowing if i told you in person, your beautiful eyes would convince me to stay. and knowing you, you'd probably push me to leave, but at this point i wouldn't go anymore. i feel terrible having to tell you this way. i didnt want to but it was the only way i saw reasonable.

as the plane landed all he could think about was you. your face was engraved in his mind, he never wanted to forget it.

you called hyunjin after your shift at your office, but the voicemail lady said this call can not be dialed, due to different regions..?

"what?" you said confused. you tried texting him but your messages were going green.

you tried calling, texting, anything! anything to make him answer.

you started to get worried. where the fuck was he?

you knocked on his apartment door, loud and hard. probably casuing a scene. but you didnt care, you needed answers.

suddenly the nice old lady you grew to love came out her apartment.

"honey.. he's gone.." she said softly. you turned around and looked at her shocked and confused. your heart beating out of your chest...

"what do you mean he's gone?! where is he? is he okay? why hasnt he called-" she cut you off gently.

"he went across seas for that art thingy.." that art thingy?

"he told me to give you this... thinking you'd come here to look for him" as she handed you the nicely folded piece of paper, one of his sketchbook.

you read the letter quickly, feeling the tears well up in your eyes. you couldnt help but feel your knees hit the ground, your body shaking. he left..?

"why didnt he tell me..?" you cried, "why the fuck couldnt he man up and tell me?"

the old lady came to hug you, feeling sorry for you, as you sobbed into her shoulder.

she offered you a cup of chamomile tea, but you politely refused. thinking it was best to just go home and sleep it off.

she was hesitant but understood the need to be alone right now.

the days felt weird and lonely without hyunjin around, you weren't sure if you were mad, upset, hurt, betrayed. all the feelings were swarming in your head, causing a tornado of emotions.

he never gave you the name of the art gallery, so there was really no way of contacting him there, and he never checked his emails for shit, so pointless there.

days turned into weeks, weeks into months, everything felt so blurry and you couldnt remember what you did yesterday.

but somehow you went on a date again, after your best friend convinced you to double date with her and her boyfriend.

his friend was cute but.. he was him

you only went for your friend, but sooner the night went on and ended up in his bed.

you were drunk and it felt good for the moment, you havent had sex since hyunjin was here...

you spent your day with this guy, he was nice, handsome...

you tried forgetting hyunjin, with endless dates, and sex with this guy, and now you're standing in front of the mirror looking at yourself wearing a big, beautiful wedding dress.

you were finally happy, you felt like the void was finally filled and you can officially move on. this was the happiest day of your life, sharing this moment with family and friends, nothing could ruin this...

the music of the bride playing as you entered the church, you looked up to see your soon to be husband. he was smiling at you, teary eyed as he saw how enchanting you are in this lighting and that dress.

you walked down the isle, your father on your arm as he walked you down, inching closer to the stand.

this was the happiest moment of your life, everyone was here, all the people you loved and cared for... were here.

the reverend began the ceremony and held hands with your groom.

this was so perfect, nothing can ruin this moment

"now i don't think its really necessary to say.. but should anyone present know of any reason that this couple should not be joined in holy matrimony, speak now or forever hold your peace...." you chuckled not thinking much of it. until the sound of crashing doors of the church doors open.

everyone gasps as they turned around to see who crashed the wedding. you squinted to find a face you thought you'd never see again...

"i object!" he shouted as he got closer to the stand.

"no! you cant do this y/n" he was trying to catch his breath, like he was running miles to come here.

"hyunjin..?" you said in disbelief, still not sure if this was really happening and this was a dream.

"y/n you cant get married... i love you.. if you get married, you'll take my life along with it." he stood at the bottom of the steps

you were frozen, you couldnt say much. you tried to say something, anything but no words were coming out your mouth.

"please this cant happen, this is a mistake, this wedding cannot happen" more gasps were heard throughout the pews

"i'll let everyone in this church know, that you.. y/n cannot get married with that... that guy!" he exasperated.

"you cant get married y/n.. please.. dont do this.. dont you remember the moments we had together? the nights of passion we had, your pillows being a testimony of our love. the way our bodies fit together like a puzzle piece, i could never erase those nights from my mind, your body, your sent, our voice, will forever be engraved in my mind."

he walked closer to the stands.

"i know every little thing about you, things you dont even know yourself, how you lift your leg on my lap when we're sitting next to each other, or how you unconsciously bite your fingernails when you're nervous.." he looked at you, pleading with his eyes

"dude! who are you-" "shut up" as he looked at your groom and then at you..

the emotions were getting to you, this was all too much for you. you were conflicted on what to do, you looked around to see everyone you knew, they were confused and worried.

"y/n.. look at me" hyunjin slowly creeped up the steps, reaching out for your hand. " dont you remember our nights together? how we talked about out future together? how we planned to travel together, and eventually settle down together?"

"no one can love you like the way i do, i know all your perfections, your flaws, your quirks.." you couldnt help the tears that were falling down your face.

"seriously man you need to leave, your ruining our weddin-" "and you! you have no idea who you are marrying, no clue in the fucking world. cant you see she's crying for me, for our love and you're just in the way of it" "fuck off!"

the murmuring of the crowd and now louder gossiping being more prominent in your ear. you wanted this to stop.

you werent saying anything, you havent said anything since you called out his name. Hyunjin turned to look back at you, seeing your teary eyes. he wishes he can feel sorry but he doesn't when he cant let you marry someone else, someone who wasn't him. he was getting frusterated because you dont say anything, he kept rambling about how you are destined to be with him and only him.

"why are you crying? because im telling the truth? the only truth you know? everyone here can see the truth, that its supposed to be me here, not this bozo!"

"look at me. y/n" he sternly said, you couldnt help but look at him. he inched closer to you, he now had tears in his eyes again. "i've seen you cry, i've seen you laugh...i've been with you in your worst and best moments of your life, when you graduated college, when your grandparent died.. i was there.. i was there for you"

he was there, he was always there.. you loved hyunjin with everything you had, he was your one and only. you knew he was the one you wanted to spend your life with, no one can compare to the man he was.

"is this how you are going to repay me?! by leaving me like this?" he was so desperate to get you to see that he was right here, right in front of you.

you took his hand, really looking at him. seeing how he looked so spent, like he hasnt slept in days. his eyes scorching into yours, those eyes you grew to love, and those lips... the lips you could kiss for hours. you could smell him, his natural musk smell filling your nostrils.

he reached his hand up to your face, gently caressing you cheek like he did many times before. his thumb burned on your soft skin, wiping away the tears on your face.

he whispers to you, "please baby.. dont do this.." looking into your eyes, silently begging you to take him back.

the wedding bells started to ring, the whole church filling up with the loud banging of the thick copper shells. your mind determined to speak. you knew what you had to do.. you looked over at your soon-to-be husband, a worried expression his face, begging you to come back to him.
