#MICHAEL ➡ Showers of mercy and grace falling on every face

I will say that my Michael, since he’s Lucifer’s twin, will look almost identical to him but a little different. He sort of looks almost like this but not entirely (I don’t wish to use this design as it’s not my own and I have different ideas that’ll I draw later anyways). He’s a little taller than Lucifer (and will take any chance he can get to rub that into his face because I still stan a short king). This is mostly just what his false image looks like anyways as every angel has a false form. They each have a real celestial form that greatly differs from the perceived image they put on. Michael’s has a lot of golds and whites and appears almost knight-like since he’s known as the CHIEF/COMMANDER of the angels and archangels. When Lucifer fell essentially Michael took on a lot of his old roles, basically replacing him. Like Lucifer, he’s very proficient with a sniper but a sword as well (he’s usually seen with one most times anyways).

Gabriel as I mentioned has short black hair and blue eyes. They can usually be seen carrying a messenger bag that’s acts like a pocket dimension, allowing them to pull out whatever they might need which tends to be for the most part notes, letters, messages and other things like that. They also carry around a trumpet and like to make their presence known with that. They’re rather energetic and can sometimes even act a little unhinged, especially when meeting/fighting demons. Their celestial form can almost be described as a black-like silhouette (or void) that when they move, it shimmers like a galaxy. They’re a walking, moving astral form in a sense.

And lastly, Raphael has medium length strawberry blonde hair with bright green eyes. They tend to wear a hood more often than not as well as a mask that’s in the shape of a plague doctor. Rarely will you see them with their hood down but they will remove their mask if need be. They’re known as the healer of the group and can heal better than most of the other angels (all the angels have healing abilities but Raphael’s is by far the best among them). Celestial form is semi-see through as you can see their ribs, spine and part of their skull.

Raphael has strawberry medium length blonde hair with green eyes (fake image). Michael looks exactly like Lucifer prior to him falling since they were twins (also fake image). Gabriel has short black hair with blue eyes (also fake image).

All are essentially genderless except for Michael. He goes by male pronouns. The others go by neutral ones (them/they). Raphael will accept feminine pronouns as well (she/her/them/they).

I was reading an interesting tidbit of why some of the angels have “el” at the end of their name and...

“El” pronounced “ilu” is the ancient Semitic name of God, it literally translates as God.

Angels in general, not just Archangels have “el” on the end of their names because they are described as either “Of God” or “Sons of God”.

Gabriel: Gavri'el which translates as “Strength of God” or “God is my Strength”.

Uriel: Uri'el which translates as “Light of God” or “God is my light”.

Michael: Micka'el which translates as “Like God” or “who is like God”.

Raphael: Rafa'el which translates as “God Heals” or “God who Heals”.

Gadreel: Gader Ha-el (a fallen angel) which translates as “Wall of God”.

💭 (Any of the angels's thoughts on meeting a repentant sinner?)

Michael and Gabriel might not be convinced right off the bat as someone who has sin once may be likely to sin again. You’ll have to prove you really intend to repent to earn their favor. Raphael is more inclined to believe them as they know it isn’t easy to have sinned and then want to repent for your sins. Ultimately they’ll say it’s up to GOD whether or not you’ll be forgiven (but Raphael believes in you! They all do in their own special way).

MICHAEL; He’s disappointed in the ones that fell. As for the other angels he of course sees himself above them (because in a sense he is?? but not higher than god of course) but in a way, he treats them as all equals as they are his comrades. He wants to protect them as well as the humans, make sure they don’t stray from the path of righteousness.

GABRIEL; Mixed feelings towards the ones that fell. For the other angels they want to befriend and hang out with all of them. They love them all.

RAPHAEL; Like Gabriel they have mixed feelings about the ones that fell (especially Asmodeus). As for the others? Raphael tends to be a worry wart or a mother hen in a sense, wanting to make sure they’re safe and not hurt. They tend to be doting but keeps themselves in check, not wanting to over do it with the affections.
