Today I got to thinking... What about a blind olm Sun who's been trapped in a massive cave system for thousands of years, and he's eventually discovered by Caver Y/n who is the first friendly creature he's ever met?

I wanted to do a Mer and couldn’t figure out who, I landed on him eventually!

NGL I I think I popped off with these DCA mer designs.

Sun cannot speak english because he gets distracted very easily and just can't find the motivation to learn on his own

Sun has the most human contact despite the fact that he cannot speak to people

The merr have their own language and Sun will often ask Moon to translate for him

Sun is the reason why he and Moon live so close to the surface because he likes to watch the sun rise in the morning

He glows much brighter than the other merr

Sun enjoys having his 'rays' played with, he also enjoys floating on his back while soaking up the sun

His star fragment, the star shape inside of the bright yellow orb, is warm and squishy

Redesigning the merboys! Heres Sun first!

Based off a lion fish, from head to tail hes about 8’6

Hes the most acrobatic and agile of the 3, as well as longer than Moon but not by much

Also has the venomous spines like a lionfish on his dorsal fin, lower side fins and on his elbows, hes able go control if they eject venom or not but if he gets startled they can still eject a small amount that causes alot of pain and sickness
