Lando.jpg - Landoscar drabble 🧡 📸

Couldn't help but write this lil drabble of photographer Lando taking cute pics of Oscar :)) I saw these and immediately typed it up on a doc. Super rough draft but making this into a full fic for after the GP! Enjoy <333

It happens before Oscar notices the dark lens to his right, the reflective glass trained on him for a fleeting moment before it dips down to reveal fluffy brown curls and a soft smile.

The expression on Lando’s face is unbridled. His eyebrows–which had previously been furrowed in concentration–relax with the movement of his arm, gleaming eyes creasing at the corners. He feels something rise in his chest, coupled with the sensation of a balloon tugging the corners of his mouth upward. A faint flush reaches his ears when Oscar’s eyes reach his. 

“Huh?” Oscar lets out, puzzled. Tawny umber wisps cover his forehead in sectioned clouds, different from the usual parted strands that would frame his face. This time, the hair rests gently, almost long enough to reach his eyes. It’s different, Lando thinks. 

He likes it. More than he’d like to admit actually–his hands grip tighter around the curved body of the camera. It’s taking more effort than normal to prevent his hands from crossing the air between them and ruffling Oscar’s hair. He imagines it’d look messy, not in the way it typically looks after Oscar removes his balaclava–dishevelled and frantically fleeting from his head–but in the way that feels right when his hair scatters perfectly under Lando’s touch. 

“Lando?” The Brit snaps out of his trance and follows Oscar’s voice to his eyes. “Did you hear? We’re meeting with our engineers before practice tomorrow.” 

“When?” His attention perks up when he realises how fast time passes during race week. 

“It’s in your calendar” Oscar chuckles. “If you read it…unless you need me to read it for you?” His lighthearted jab almost comes across seriously, except Lando knows it’s in Oscar’s nature to be incredibly blunt. Underneath his stoic expression, he’s probably cackling to himself as he would to Lando behind closed doors.

He nearly forgets the presence of a few media members standing a metre away. They’re looking at their camera viewfinders, swiping through a few frames of the drivers’ brief interaction. At least two of those would make it onto the Mclaren page. 

Not that Lando minds, of course–not when he finds himself scrolling through Instagram at the end of the day, staring at images of every perspective of him and Oscar (mostly Oscar) to see how they look in others’ eyes. To see how Oscar looks in perspectives other than his own. He wants to know if their lenses also capture Lando’s point of view, just a few inches shy of the Aussie’s eye level and close enough in proximity to catch the tiny freckles dotting his complexion–and most likely every expanse of his skin. 

Lando’s face heats up quickly. Oscar doesn’t notice though, he’s already dipping through the sparse crowd of workers in the paddock, presumably to refresh his training on the simulator or walk the track with his race engineer. He looks over his shoulder once, a hand raised in a small wave. Lando grins back. He can’t help it when his camera raises to his eye, creating a tunnelled view of Oscar’s disappearing silhouette. 

The driver looks carefree, even with his back turned. Maybe it’s in his stance, or the way his shoulders drop back in their usual position, or how his head tilts upward to look at the sky. Rain clouds loom in the distance, the sun isn’t due for at least a few hours, but Oscar continues to look anyway.

Regardless, Lando’s certain that Oscar carries the sunshine with him because it’s uncanny how often Lando feels his warmth when he’s close by. 

He smiles to himself and can’t wait to browse the photos on his own time.

this is some cottage core/ fairy tale/ olden days au 

Peter lived in the in cottage about a mile from your own. Your houses were connected with a winding dirt path through the forest. On Sunday afternoons, your mother would often make the trip to visit his relatives. She would trade some of your chicken’s eggs for their cow’s milk. Since you were a little girl, you would love to tag along in hopes they would get to talking and you could go off to play with Peter.

The two of you would run down to creek in bare feet, splashing in the water and chasing minnows, until his Aunt would ring the dinner bell to call you back home. 

This Spring afternoon, your mother thought it would be best to send you send alone on the Sunday trip. She was getting older and suffered a bad fall this winter. Her poor hip hadn’t healed properly and it was difficult for her to make the walk. She made you promise to send dear May her blessings when you arrived. 

It had been too long since you had visited the Parker’s family home with your mother. You had insisted on focusing on your studies and tending to your gardens. Your teenage years had refocused your priorities. You were not a little girl who liked go play childish games in the forest anymore. You were a refined young woman. 

The walk was familiar. If you listened closely, you swore you could hear the ghosts of your childhood laugher echoing out of the forest trees. You tucked the basket of eggs closer under your arm and found yourself with a little skip in your step the closer you got. 

His cottage was beautiful. It was covered in lush, green vines and the roofs peaked into lopsided points. His uncle had built the home entirely with his own hands before he passed. You always found it to be quite charming. 

You rapped twice on the wooden door but received no answer. You took note of the fact that one of their horses was gone. Maybe they had left for the day. You’d just have to leave the basket for them and return tomorrow.

“Can I help you?” 

The voice floated out from the barn. A smile grew when you saw him again. It had been so long. He was no longer a young boy just like you were no longer a young girl. “Peter Parker? Tell me that is not the same little boy I used to build fairy houses with in the forest.” 

A smile spread across his face and he wiped his sweaty brow with the handkerchief in his breast pocket, “Well, well, well if it isn’t my favorite neighbor. I thought you might have been eaten by wolf seeing as you stopping your weekly visits years ago. I just assumed you’d been dead.”

You skipped over to him, your dress blowing in the wind, and your eyes glistening with joy at the reunion, “I’m afraid not. I’m far too bitter for any wolves. Is May home?” 

Peter shook his head, “Sorry. She’s off visiting relatives. She won’t be back for a while. I’ve only got myself and the cows for company for the next week or so.”

That wouldn’t do. You decided to spend the evening with him. After cooking him up some late lunch, the two of you roamed around May’s garden while you took note of all the growing vegetables. Something about Peter made you get a funny feeling in your stomach. The longer you spent with him, the harder you found it to look directly at him. He was very handsome. He was tall with broad shoulders. The muscles rippled under his shirt, no doubt from all the physical labor he grew up doing. He was very much someone you found desirable. 

The back of his hand would bump against your while you walk. Each time your heart would flutter. He made you feel a bit faint.

“Do you remember our old fort?” He asked, his face turned up towards the blue sky to admire the soft, pink clouds. “The one we built near the creek?”

You nodded, “Of course. How could I forget? It was only our pride and joy as children.”

“Well...I was taking a walk the other day and it’s still there. I took it upon myself to clean out the spiders that had moved in and scare away the mice but it’s still holding strong. I think we should go check it out.” 

It wasn’t long before you were chasing him through the mossy forest towards your old stomping grounds. Whatever childish attitudes you claimed to have lost clearly had never truly left. The moment you laid eyes on Peter again, they all came flooding back. A light laugh burst from your lips as you ran after your friend. Your hair flew back behind you in the wind and the air filled your lungs. You felt alive. 

You came crashing to stop, bumping into Peter’s strong back, when he suddenly stopped running. He turned around and reached for your hand as you stood in front of your old stick fort. He was right. It hadn’t seemed to have moved an inch from it’s original build. If it wasn’t for the dirty, tattered bed sheet blowing in the breeze to act as the door, you might even think that it had been built just this morning. You remembered all the adventures you and Peter got up to hidden away inside. Your minds had been so vast back then. 

“Shall we go in?” He asked. 

You held your breath when you entered. It was much smaller than you remembered. In your memories, you and Peter had so much room to play. Now, you two stood hunched over and pressed together, hardly able to move an inch. “Was it always this tiny?”

He laughed. A beautiful, delightful laugh. “Have a seat. Should I seve you some tea?” 

He grabbed a hollowed out piece of wood and handed it to you. You remembered how you and Peter each had your own “tea cup” as you would call them. He pretended to pour imaginary liquid into the wooden cup, “There you go, miss. Be careful. It might be hot.”

You gave it a little blow and pretended to take a sip, “Ah. It’s as delicious as it was when I was eight.” The two of you shared a quiet a giggle. You peeked your head out the little window Peter had cut into the sticks so many years ago. It looked out onto the flowing creek and a bed of wildflowers covering the forest floors. “This whole place is more beautiful than I remembered.” 

“Really?” he whispered. “I always thought it was you who made it beautiful. Like you were made of magic and everything you touched came to life with beauty. I really missed you. Please don’t go away again.”

what is this? a staring contest?

that’s the only thought in your mind as you stare at the person in front of you, you raised your eyebrows. you didn’t talk to each other for three days and now he’s acting weird and he’s blocking the door so you can’t really go inside your house.

you just had dinner with kakucho like you promised three days ago, so you went home a bit late today. you’re supposed to get take-out for sanzu but you remembered that you two aren’t talking.

so, what the hell is he doing right now?

“what the fuck are you doing, akashi?”

you’re not supposed to be the one to talk first but you’re standing too long outside. he smiled, and you’re wishing that he would stop because you would too. “i’m staring at you, akashi.”

oh fuck.

“okay, and?” you answered as you raise your eyebrow, mustering all your strength to stop yourself from smiling so widely like an idiot. you can’t explain how satisfied you are right now because you two are talking again. it feels as though you’re so high up the sky. “let me in.”

sanzu chuckled and patted your head, you clicked your tongue and frowned at him. “wow, you didn’t complain when i called you akashi.”

“because it’s my surname too-“ you stopped, “just let me in, haruchiyo.”

“okay, wife.” he said and stepped aside so you could come in. he should stop calling you ‘wife’ before your heart burst.

you’re feeling all giddy but then it suddenly hit you that he likes somebody else. why, just why does it have to cross your mind right now when you’re having a moment?

sanzu noticed the change in your expression. “why?”

“nothing.” you answered and made your way to the stairs but sanzu pulled your wrist. “what?”

“eat with me? i ordered food.”

you already ate and you need to be alone because your thoughts are killing you. you could just ask him— but no, you choose to keep your mouth shut.

“i already-“

“ah. i forgot, you already ate with kakucho.” he said and lets go of you. the downhearted look in his face unexpectedly hurts more.

“i— no, uhm... i could eat again. you know i didn’t eat much anyway.” you said, “i’ll just change my clothes.”

“are you sure?” he asked and you nodded, “really really sure?”

you rolled your eyes and flicked his forehead, “yes! oh my god, just let me change. okay?”

“okay. take your time, food’s not here yet.” he said while grinning so wide, you swear his mouth will tear.

it doesn’t matter now that you’re hurting earlier because sanzu looks so happy that you’re eating with him. you sighed as you enter your room, now looking at yourself at the vanity mirror. you don’t know what else to feel, he’s acting like this to you but he says shits like he like someone else.

so, what else would you feel?

you set your thoughts aside and changed your clothes. when you came down, the food were already laid out on the table. “i ordered your favorite.”

you don’t really know what else to feel. you know you can just blurt out right here that you love him.

but instead, you smiled widely as you look at him. “i hate you, you know?”

“i know.”

tokyo revengers idol au hcs part 3 that no one asked for AGAIN here’s part 1 and part 2 to get a better understanding.  this is what the members would be doing alongside their idol promotions+ what they would post on social media  toman tbh these guys are all just so damn funny on their own that they would constantly be invited to comedy variety shows. maybe perhaps doing something similar to seventeen or wanna one where they even have their own variety show on youtube (ie. seventeen’s-going seventeen series or wanna one’s show on mnet)  mikey-he would post basic food pics like of his parfaits or taiyaki but also it’s rare because he’d constantly forget his password. however on important days he’ll post long emotional and sentimental posts that hit you in your feels thanking his members and fans always. he also has a youtube channel posting random funny vlogs. draken- he has his own personal soundcloud to upload solo mixtapes/songs feat diff members. posts photos of his bikes and different tattoos he would be getting. responds with 1-2 words to fans during fansigns or ig comments but like mikey, once in a while, will also write heartfelt posts thanking everyone.  baji- his ig feed is filled with animals + dance practice vids. also has his own soundcloud too. trolls his members by commenting on their stuff. “delete this u ugly mf no one wants to see this”.  takemichi- very chatty, (sometimes too chatty where he’ll end up accidentally spoiling their next album info) and interactive on social media to his fans. tries his best to respond to most comments or ama ig stories questions. posts a lot of selfies and photos of his members. king of fan service.  chifuyu- beautiful photos of the sky a lot on his ig (in canon he wanted to be a pilot :,) ) along with cute soft selfies. (which baji and kazutora troll and comment being like “damn....u ugly AF!” “lmao stop pretending to act cute u loser”  kazutora- his ig is filled with pure chaos. just pics of him catching his members slipping (sleeping photos where they’re drooling or have their eyes slightly open or making ugly faces behind the scenes). also has photos of cursed memes and memes made by fans. he’s a literal enigma.  mitsuya- very wholesome ig photos- lots of photos of his family, group photos, sometimes cool artsy edited selfies. occasional photoshoot photos.  hakkai- ig is filled lots of #ootd photos and occasional photos from his modeling or acting gigs (he’s the visual, duh!) gets a lot of sponsorships from big brands.  pah-chin: has a joint youtube channel with peyan. they do silly challenges but will sometimes post dance videos (feat. baji) since they’re the main/lead dancers. fans love him because of his “matter-of-fact” responses that are funny without even trying. (example- fan comment: omg i love u guys soooo much u guys are the best in the whole world!!!<333 toman OUTSOLD!.  pah-chin: idk about best in the world but we’ll just take “the best in our neighborhood” for now i guess. thanks.”)  peyan: joint youtube channel with pah-chin. at fan signs mikey has to warn him to chill out cuz peyan will accidentally yell and scare fans without meaning to, but he’s just really excited to meet his fans is all ^_^   angry: posts a lot of wholesome photos like mitsuya (selfies with smiley) and writes a lot of motivational sweet captions cheering fans up and reminding them to always be happy :,)  smiley: joint youtube account with angry. smiley does a lot of prank videos and angrys just usually in the back like  🧍‍♂️... he also does tiktok- he would be doing all the dances, memes, and trends.  inui: ok hear me out, i mentioned before inui has similar vibes as cha eunwoo so i’d figure his ig would give the same vibe as his (iykyk). since he’s the other visual he would be getting a TON of acting and modeling gigs. idk why but i feel like inui would be a great actor (his facial expressions during tenjiku arc, the range!). actor of the year. gets a lot of skincare commercial deals too. 

black dragons shinichiro- photos of bikes, cars, and photos where hes pretending to do a cool pose but his members (+mikey) would troll and comment “LAME!!!!!” “why tf do u look like that?” “hey leader, it’s not too late to delete this now bestie :)” does fun ig lives. on variety shows as a joke his members tease him there as well. really great at fan-service and pulls the whole “pretend boyfriend” scenario with fans (the delusional fans are gonna act up if he keeps this up...).  taiju- (if shinichiro did not exist in this au OR if you wanted both in the group) photos of him at the gym, photoshoot photos.  inui- similar to if he was in toman, his ig would just be a lot of cool and cute photos of him from behind the scenes of dramas or photoshoots. a soft visual king. occasional selfies with koko and bike photos.  kokonoi- has a personal youtube channel but he would be Drowning in sponsorship videos all from high-end designer brands. he’s just casually flexing that PPL in his vlogs. ig feed is a lot of #ootd photos or pics taken with inui. him and inui would be makeup brand ambassadors or faces of brands (ex: like jennie from blackpink represents chanel). in this case kokonoi would be the face of fendi (he wears fendi slides in the manga cover) and inui would be the face of jimmy choo (his heels in the manga cover looked like jimmy choo but i could be wrong.. but u know what i mean)

as an esfp, daesung desperately needs social interaction. leaving him alone for long periods of time is a recipe for disaster, but given his occupation and the types of people in his life, it isn’t always possible to meet up with friends whenever he wants to. when all else fails, social media fills the empty spaces. you could argue that he relies a little too heavily on it and—honestly speaking—you would be correct, but daesung will always always always claim that his rs with social media is very healthy :) 

having said that, there isn’t a single day that goes by in which he doesn’t post on at least one social media platform. his favorite option is instagram, so he has the largest following on this app out of all of his other personal accounts. even if he doesn’t upload directly to his feed, he’ll usually post a couple things to his story.

he has dms & replies to his stories open to all (because what’s the point of having social media if you’re not going to socialize, right?), so his messages are constantly flooded. when he first opened his personal instagram account, he responded to a lot of dms, but was told by gold star that he needed to keep all interactions with fans public, so he.... stopped? lmao, no he didn’t. he just cut down drastically.

more because of his messages getting out of hand than the company telling him not to reply, honestly. like... he cares about what the company says, sure, but he also doesn’t see the harm in talking to fans, being personable, making ‘em happy.

but! they’re still open, anyway, and he tries to read absolutely everything he gets even if he can’t respond. when he’s feeling lonely at night, he likes to open up instagram and start reading through his dms <3 kinda pathetic but it’s a lonely life <3

he follows a relatively large amount of people taking the fact that he’s an idol into consideration. first of all, he follows all official gold star group accounts, the other impulse members, and all labelmates that he considers himself to be friends with. outside of that, he follows friends that he has from other companies, but only male-presenting friends because he doesn’t want gold star’s pr people to get onto him. follows his male-presenting non-celeb friends, as well. some actors that he likes, some indie musicians that he likes, then the rest are meme pages and pet pages.

as far as content goes, he mainly uploads photos and videos of himself to his feed. the biggest chunk of it is just selfies, candid pics taken by his friends & behind the scenes snapshots taken during promotions/filming, but it’s not uncommon for him to upload a little video of himself singing and/or playing his guitar. sings a lot of old ass songs like long lost memories loom beyond the window by sanullim (1980), to you again by byun jinseob (1989), with the heart to forget you by kim kwangseok (1992), on the street by kim kwangseok (1993), what can i say by the breeze (2010), etc. i imagine a lot of his fans probably don’t know the songs, so they usually don’t get as much interaction as the rest of his posts but That’s Okay! he just likes to sing for fun <333 he does it for himself.

other than that... he posts pictures of his pets semi-regularly (as of dec. 2020, he has two rats and a dog), every now and then he’ll post a video of himself doing some skateboard tricks, and verrrrry very rarely he might post a pic of another impulse member???

pretty meme-y irl, but tries to look charismatic / “sexy” on instagram for the lols. doesn’t always do this, but fans have grown accustomed to pictures of him with half-buttoned shirts, head leaned back to show off his neck, tongue stuck out. lowkey they clown him a lot for some of the selfies he uploads, but he sees them going crazy on stan twitter so he can deal w it. anything for some extra attention!

doesn’t always think before posting, so sometimes he’ll stare at a selfie for a little too long and realize he looks dumb (in his head, of course) and delete it. happens more often than you’d think, so a lot of fans claim that his instagram content is limited time only. better turn your notifications on if you wanna make the best of it!

uses the story function to share little pieces of his day. sometimes it’s just a “good morning” message, sometimes it’s a picture of the sky wherever he’s at, sometimes it’s a video of him skateboarding, sometimes it’s a mirror selfie with whatever song he’s into atm attached, sometimes it’s a pic of certain points in his outfit that he wants to show off (like the painted nail in the middle image above, lmao). can be anything, though; he just likes to keep something in his story at all times so that his fans have a little piece of him to keep them company. doesn’t hurt that sharing his life with the internet like this helps him to feel a little bit less alone, as well.

likes to mess around with filters in his stories, has a habit of doing this when he’s tipsy/drunk. when you see a sequence of 25 selfies that all look pretty much the same, just with different filters, you know that daesung’s been drinking.

one time when he was drunk, he uploaded a selfie to his story and tagged jennifer aniston in it for literally no reason. fans will never let him live this one down.

sometimes he uses stories to interact with fans when he can’t sleep. he’ll ask something like “what’s a good movie to watch when you’re feeling sentimental?” at three in the morning, and 200+ messages just telling him to go to sleep come in. will then post a small vid of himself saying, “you’re all telling me to go to sleep...... i didn’t ask what i should do. i asked for movie recommendations!! answer the question and i’ll go to sleep :)” and then half an hour later, follows up with another video saying “actually i’m not going to sleep!!!! i’m watching shrek now haha”

aka he acts like they’re his friends. WAY too comfortable on his instagram account, but shockingly hasn’t posted anything bad enough to cause a controversy yet.

he does weekly/bi-weekly friday evening livestreams (depending on how busy he is/how he’s feeling) where he spends between an hour and an hour and a half talking with fans and playing guitar/singing for them. i’ll do a separate headcanon about these streams later on because it will undoubtedly take too long to share all my thoughts in this post, but! they were pretty popular when he first started doing them about a year and a half ago (as of dec. 2020), but once fans realized that he sings pretty much the same songs every time, half of them stopped tuning in which is..... fair.

I wanted to express my gratitude for your amazing support throughout the latest Twinkle storyline. All the lovely comments about Carn and Claret have made me so happy. I think I can’t find the right words to describe how thankful I am, and how much these comments always made me smile, laugh, go “awww” and be like “god same” when people were yelling at them. I have to confess that along the way (ever since I started planning their story in March/April last year), I’ve also hopelessly fallen in love with these two, and all this time I was trying so hard not to give up and just spill the beans. I usually reply directly under the post when I know what to say, but I didn’t want to spam you all, so I decided to compile the comments from the last few days into a large reply post! I haven’t made such posts in more than a year since they’re quite a pain due to x-kit, and they will probably be occasional, but this time I wanted to do one, and even made a new banner for it. I’ll try to replicate my live reactions to the comments :D

Carnet will be back very soon with the quadruple portion of feels (and I mean it). It makes me so content that you love them as much as I do, and I promise to deliver. 😁 Now, it may be a good time to start posting at least a little introduction to my new legacy, the Lilygreens. Here’s a fun story about where I got the inspiration for their last name: I was looking for something special to no avail. But what inspired me was this song (only true eurofans will remember, lmao. It’s from ESC 2010). It’s so lovely and reminds me of a few couples of mine (Carnet included, I’ve listened to it a lot during working on their story). So I thought the singer had a really unique last name, and the rest was history. I hope you’ll enjoy this legacy, it’s a vanilla one and I haven’t played vanillas in such a long time!

Claret has a soft poetic side for sure :P I’m always insecure about my writing, but I can definitely say this is one of the best scenes I’ve written and I’m 100% satisfied with how it turned out, it’s the kind of scene I’ll probably be randomly reading in the future and getting hit with feels. Yessss! I’ve always associated this song with them. I had quite an interesting experience with naming these two. I know a lot of simblrs had a dusk/dawn theme going, but it wasn’t them who influenced me. I’ve always wanted to name my sim Dawn ever since I had banilla legacies going on, it’s a beautiful name. It was Claret’s first name originally, but then I decided to give her a double one, because that’s when I started noticing there’s a lot of sims around with this name or middle name, including some people’s BPR heirs for gen 3, and I didn’t want to seem like a copycat.

As for Carn, he didn’t even have a middle name originally, for some reason I was dumb and didn’t figure out I could give them matching ones. But it was once again on another trip in summer, at 6 am, when I was tired and the only thing that kept me awake was listening to my playlist. This song, “Dusk Till Dawn”, came on shuffle, and I was like “... Carnelian Dusk. CARNELIAN DUSK. I’M SO DUMB WHY DID IT TAKE ME SO LONG”. I had to replace his tag too when he was still a kid. But yeah, these names fit them absolutely perfectly.

So yeah, that was story time with Melien :D

I wasn’t kidding when I said that I also cried during writing this scene. I don’t know, it’s just so feelsy! I love slow burn relationships because it’s so satisfying in the end when they finally get together.
