Life is short, and I've shortened mine
rise of the tmnt gift fic for the T3 server november exchange, for the very lovely @remedyturtles
Sensei is a character that can actually be so life changing and brain consuming. Very grateful to have the opportunity to play in your sandbox, exploring their headspaces is actually incredible and also devastating.
Note: This is an offshoot from Rem’s “little kid with a big death wish” fic and will not make sense on its own I fear.
title from good bones by Maggie Smith
read on ao3
___
He didn’t ask for this, is the crucial thing. He’d been— not relieved to be dead, because he hadn’t managed to make it yet to where his brothers were, because his kid was still out there fighting for tomorrow. Relieved was too gentle a word, but he’d been something.
Maybe less tired.
It was nice to think about, selfishly. He’s been carrying lead weights and anchors at the edges of himself since the moment the world fell, but there’d never been any other volunteers for the job. Somewhere quietly inside himself he’d thought the ending would mean a moment of reprieve. He should have known, though. They’d all been the universe's favorite chew toys for long enough, dying was too nice a bow to wrap around it.
He really hadn’t asked for this, no matter what the subconscious thoughts he’d hit to death with sticks in the back of his mind said about escaping. Stumbling across the kid— another him, a version of him he’d never gotten to be, that he thinks maybe distantly he shouldn’t have needed to be— he’d hoped he could silently wrap himself in that thick blanket of nothing and fade out at least. Not fuck things up for him worse, but, well.
Maybe the throughline to being Hamato Leonardo was fate-led curiosity; he’d never learned how to leave well enough alone in either direction. Of course Leo had scouted him out, of course he’d been compelled to try to help the kid float when he should have stayed put, of course. Of course.
And so, as the classics say, here they were.
“Can you give me a number, Leo?” Raph’s voice creeps in, all-over earnest and thoughtful in the way he intrinsically is—was. It’s a shard of glass to hear it at all, it’s everything he’s ever wanted. The kid fuzzes out a little and slips sideways a step; oops , Leo thinks. There’s a hard line around not transmitting too loud, he’s still trying to figure it out.
Could do without whatever that was ever again , the kid thinks, sharp and rattled under the surface.
Leo winces. Sorry, I’m all thumbs over here. Trying to keep quiet.
Psh, younger Leo rolls his eyes. You’re all one thumb .
The kid turns back to his brother, thrumming still between a one and zero now. He’s scrambling to ground still, to focus. He gives Raph a quick OK sign that there’s no way Raph doesn’t see through. It’s kind of funny to watch his force-fire white-knuckling deflection in technicolor from the outside like this, he’s not sure why he ever thought this worked.
“That’s okay, that’s fine. Can you give me a number, bud?” The pleading edge hurts to hear.
They hold up a shaky one, maybe overconfidently. Mikey and Don are in the room somewhere, he can hear them shuffling even with Leo’s eyes closed. The sudden memory of a thousand days where the only rest his littlest brother got was when he was locked in meditation, the way he walked like his bones and joints hurt right up until the end, nearly knocks them both back to a firm zero.
The kid glares at him, Leo holds his hand up apologetically and imagines zipping his non-existent lips shut.
They’d been doing better for the last few days. He’d started talking out loud, had been at a solid two a handful of times. He knows the kid’s frustrated and exhausted, he can feel it, especially seeing them slip all the way back. Leo feels a hot well of shame creep up his ethereal throat.
He knows it’s a push and pull game they’re playing. Wounded leading the wounded, and all.
It’s still a lot, to think of seeing his family that isn’t his family. Of them knowing he existed and talking to him. Points towards the ‘he should fuck off forever’ category, as soon as they figured out how to get rid of him.
(The kid talked about it like they’d miss him if he left, like there’d be some great love lost— they didn’t know him, though. He’d lived through twenty years of a war they’d never have to see. Leo was not the teen they were missing, the one they were trying to call home, because he’d given that up a long time ago.
Of course he had to leave, this kid had a life of his own to live now. Leo didn’t have anything.)
“ — he was for a moment, just give him time,” Raph’s saying. He forces the kid to take a purposeful long breath in, squeeze his fingers, twitch his toes. Keep him from tipping all the way over into the dark where he’d accidently shoved them.
“See, he’s back with us,” Raph continues, brightly. The kid groggily radiated all sorts of furious signals like a firecracker popping in several unplanned directions, all different fonts screaming exhaustion and hurt the only way he knew how. Leo’s heart aches for him. Beating himself down for daring to survive at all.
“Is he?” Don’s voice cuts in haughtily. Leo makes them blink their eyes open, caught out despite the kid’s anger.
They’re looking for you, bud. Rise and shine.
I don’t care, the kid hisses. Fuck off.
Okay. Well. Less than ideal.
“Which one are we dealing with,” Don’s voice hovers closer, half lodged in icy suspicion. He wouldn’t be this closed off for his Leo, obviously. Leo— Sensei smothers a sigh.
“He’s trying not to answer the phone right now. So, just me. Sorry.”
“Is he okay?” Raph asks, concern evident in the dark shadow of his brow. Sensei can’t look at it directly, it’s not for him to feel all the reminiscent grief of a brother that isn’t even his. How he feels about any of this never helps anything.
“He’s….” He prods the kid and gets an indistinguishable slew of curses and general hypothetical middle fingers back. “He’s taking a break, he’s okay.”
Don arches a brow back. “I don’t care that we’re forced to take your word for this, just to be clear.”
“Fair enough. He says, and I quote, bite me, so I think that’s where we’re at.”
“Ah,” Raph hums. “Well, if you can tell him I’ll be back in ten minutes with tea, I’d love to check in on him then.”
Sensei nods, relays the message with a garbled hiss as a response. Expected.
Don stares at him, impassive. Arms crossed and eyes narrowed. Feral cat radiating protective instincts three counties wide, like always.
It’s… an ache under the skin, to be left alone with Don. He hasn’t forgotten the way Dee’s face would shift in a scowl, he never could, but seeing it played out on a younger face scratches something in him regardless.
“I want to speak with my brother, if it’s all the same,” Don says, blunt.
“I’ve been trying to ring him, I promise. Bad morning.”
Don arches a brow with a twitch to his jaw Sensei knows means he’s attempting to fight off a full on annoyed pout and failing. It hits him sideways to see, funny in the chest. A thousand sense memories, a different Donnie and a different place, coalescing all into one. His Don had gotten really good at not emoting at all near the end, he’d almost forgotten.
Hey, the kid grouses. Who’s flying this plane?
Right, thumbs again, Not-his-Don hovers closer when he blinks back to the front. A frown touches the middle of his maskless forehead.
He makes himself walk through a few quick grounding steps and breathe in as deep as he can before speaking. “Back, sorry. Uh, Sensei, that is. Leo’s listening though.”
Don’s still frowning, but he leans back a touch. “He’s making it harder for you to stay here too, isn’t he?”
He doesn’t think the phrasing of that is fair, but. “Was all me that time, if I’m honest. We’re at a one now though, I’m good.”
“Is he ?” Don tilts his head.
Sensei considers. The kid’s not sinking back there just… Curled up, pill-bugging. Radiating furious hurt energy like a solar system all on his own. He’s present enough to tell Sensei to fuck off and focus on Don at least.
“Think so, yeah. He’s just…” He mimes a snapping maw with his good hand.
Don sighs and rolls his eyes, there’s an edge of anxiety there Sensei can still read as bright as anything. Isn’t that a thought. Twenty years without and this younger Donnie is still under his skin like a part of himself.
He needs you bud, Sensei tries again, nudging his younger self.
I’m tired of this , the kid growls back, not-voice cracking all the way through in a way that makes Sensei ache for him.
Sensei sighs, patting his shell. I know.
Don shifts his weight in front of them, frown deepening as he moves to tap on his wrist guard. Probably texting the family about the general Bad Leo Day, he imagines. He knows how this would go with his Don— the way it would itch at him being unable to instantly resolve whatever problems his brother had. He never dealt well with any mystic issues affecting Mike for the same reasons either.
There’d always been a thrumming line between them, some unspoken thing; Sensei carried it with him even now, even with the end gone dark. He knows Don’s having a hard time reconciling all the ways ‘Sensei’ is his Leo and is someone entirely different. Managing the fear that his Leo will go somewhere far away inside himself and he’ll only be left with someone he doesn’t know. That he’ll be left alone.
The worst part about being a twin is when you aren’t one anymore, after all.
Bad thought. Shit. The pull in the back of his mind grows louder. He holds up a shakier zero. Don’s sharp eyes narrow, tapping something harder on his guard before shifting closer. “Leo?”
Can you stop being horribly sad for five minutes while looking at my brother? It’s so not helping.
He shakes his head. “Still me,” the words come out soupy. The kid jabs him angrily somewhere in the back of his brain, uncurled with annoyed concern, which is maybe an unintentional win.
“Is it— can you ground him?”
He’s trying; his brain fires unhelpful flashes of the days after. Of the months of searching desperately, of the moment he woke up in the middle of the night with sudden certainty that wherever the other half of himself went, he couldn’t get back on his own. Shit.
Shit , the kid echoes, less angry with the barely concealed concern. Sensei can feel the dark pit creeping at his arms even as he blinks furiously to stay present.
“Not him, it’s— sorry, all me again. Don’t think I can stick around.” He squeezes his fist, forces himself to breathe deeper, but it catches somewhere around the middle. The kid slides forward with a flurry of aggrieved panic that sparks through him and sends him back down several flights. There goes that plan.
Sensei cracks an eye back open and catches a familiar flash in Donnie’s eyes, and yeah— sorry, kid. Lights out.
The last conversation he remembers having with Don had been about Casey. He was getting to the age where he was asking to follow them out on missions more and more, curious about everything Uncle Tello was up to. He wanted to help, desperately. Itching with the need to be useful in a way they all understood.
It was different with Casey, though. He knew why it was different.
“We let Mike do this stuff when he was his age,” Leo had said with a sigh. “It’s hard to find good reasons to say no that aren’t just three rounds of my own loud clamoring panic. He should go, he’s trained plenty.”
Don clicked his goggles, focusing on a project in front of him with a hum. “Mike wasn’t dealing with an apocalypse. He was, at worst, trying to find a new place to tag at Casey Jr’s age, so.”
“Exactly,” Leo smooths his hand across his head. “But also…”
Don looks at him, eyes gone big with the layers of lenses so he gets hyper close up patented ‘Tello Eye Roll in high definition. “But also, you’re a mother hen, and he’s talented, and he’ll just sneak out anyways if we keep making him hang back.”
“Points for you,” Leo sighs again. “Want to make that a daily double?”
“You remember how Micheal was about being babied,” Don sighs. “So, I don’t know. Let him go on a supply run, something small. A practice version,” Don shrugs, turns back to his work. “There’s that lower activity quadrant we got a ping on last week. I can take him and go get that part we need to fix up the generator.”
Leo lets out a long breath. “Yeah, that— huh. That could work. He’s always saying he wants to learn more about how to keep things running around here, he’ll be over the moon. Kid asked me last week if I could show him how to do stitches.”
Don snorts. “Great, soon there’ll be two of you.”
Leo steps forward, leaning his elbow on Don’s chair to peer over at his desk. There’s a mess of wires in front of him, a plate he’s meticulously soldering ends together on. “Eh, there’s already two of me.”
“Excuse you,” Don nudges him back with a shoulder. “As the funnier twin, I resent that remark.”
He laughs, lets out a breath. The thrum of Don’s room sometimes settles him, like it’s echoing the place in him where his ninpo sat before. Constant hums of his family flitting through open rooms.
“You don’t think I’m being paranoid, do you?” Leo has to ask. The variables tripped around each other in hyperspeed in his mind at all times, racing down to the ends of his fingers. Casey’s only thirteen, they’re down too many runners, there’s never any right choices and only Leo to make them.
Don pauses for a second. He flips up his goggles before Leo can wrench the question back into himself, not that it had ever worked before.
“I’ll keep him safe,” Don says, slowly. “It’s a good call, he’s earned it.”
“You’re just saying that because it was half your idea.” Leo glances away, embarrassed on some fundamental level that Don had even needed to give him the reassurance. He sighs, squeezes Don’s shoulder quickly as a thank you. Don hums with a smirk.
“Well? Are you going to teach him? Don’t think we have any oranges to practice on.” The implication rings loudly enough, Casey stitching up real wounds is a foray they haven’t dared make.
Leo waves his hand. “Might be a good idea for the kid to have some medical information in between all the supercomputer nerd things.”
“Avoiding the question is a bold move.”
Leo deflates, winces. “Yeah. Thought it might make him worry less.” If he could help without leaving the base at all, maybe they’d both relax. A quieter thought, under that: maybe Leo would, if he knew Casey could take care of himself without him.
Don squints. “It might. Here’s a better thought, his Sensei letting someone else take on the riskier missions for once, hm?”
Ah, well.
Leo feigns a wide grin anyways, shrugging. “What can I say, the Krang love me.”
The arched eyebrow he receives is scathing. He is scathed. He waves his good hand Don’s direction with a huff. “Don’t look at me like that, this is about the kid. Table the psychoanalysis for Mike to take over.”
“You want Michael to get in on this?”
Good point. He sighs again, shuffling over to a side table and crossing his arms. This is an old argument, the circles of it are worn through and practically scripted. If dear Tello insists, he purses his lips. Round and round they go.
“I’m faster.”
“Other people are fast enough.”
“Enough isn’t safe.”
“Letting the Krang learn all your moves is?”
“Come on, I’ve been fine.”
The scathing meter ramps up as Don’s eyes pointedly flick to Leo’s robotic arm. “They blast you with enough of their power? How long is that going to be true.”
“I know how they work.”
“For fucks sake Leo, the rest of us grew up in the apocalypse too.”
The rest of you aren’t responsible for it, though , he thinks with all forty old years of packed self directed venom. There’s no point to this conversation, he finds the way out Don wants.
“Fine. I’ll stay back for the next few, okay? You and Case can do the supply run. April’s been saying she wants to get back out, I can send her with Angel.”
Don’s steely gaze doesn’t shift, his jaw tense. Usually, this is where the conversation stalls and dies out. World like theirs is lacking in many things, including fuel to burn with.
“I’m sick of watching you do this,” he spits out, sharp and barbed. It stops Leo up short.
He nearly says ‘do what’, but he knows his twin. They haven’t gone into any of this since— well, since Raph. Since the mantle of the Resistance became something heavier and lodged in him with anchor weights. Since everyone started looking at him like his plans were god. Since his fuck up ruined everything.
No time for heart to hearts, really.
“Come on, Dee,” he swallows roughly, carefully. “I’m careful. This isn’t about that.”
“Isn’t it? Isn’t everything you do about that?”
Leo works his jaw. “It isn’t.”
“When will you stop acting like you have to make up for it, then?”
Ouch. Leo redirects. “We’re going to win this. It’ll work out, you know it will. I’m not going anywhere without you.”
Winning the war hasn’t been a tangible thought in his mind in years either; he’s not sure he knows how to do anything but follow the script anymore, though. He hopes he’s putting up a strong enough act.
Don’s hand clenches around his soldering gun, relaxes. “There’s only one you,” he practically growls out, and Leo’s chest squeezes. “If he goes somewhere he takes me with him. Do you get that?”
He swallows again. “Course I do. I’m not— this isn’t about me, Don. Strategically, until they start catching up to me we have to make them believe I’m their only concern. Promise, that’s all this is.”
You swear? He almost hears a younger Donnie ask, crouched up in their hideout over Donnie’s gameboy.
“I’m not going anywhere,” he says, with as much sincerity as he carries with him. He wouldn’t, there’s nowhere else in the world for him to go when everything that matters is right here.
“You aren’t allowed to pull anything. I’d know if you were,” Don glares. “We need you.” He says it funny, emphasis on both the need and the you all at once, like one of those endless staircase paintings that look different the longer you try to make sense of it. Leo holds up his hands helplessly.
His twin’s stare pins Leo through for a long moment. He takes the whole half a second of pause to step closer. “Hey, that whole thing— back at you. Obviously.”
Don lets out a long breath, expression flat and assessing. For a moment, Leo thinks he might say more, but he turns his chair around to continue soldering.
“Obviously.”
They’d let the conversation fall lighter, moving to charitable waters. And Leo had let Don take Case out for an easy supply run.
The last thing his twin ever said to him was lost somewhere behind the distress beacon and the noise of the Krang leveling an entire building on him. He thinks there was a sorry in there, or a be right back to the scared kid he was giving up the world for.
The part that’s always stung, a burr against his core, is that they never find any sign of where Donnie went. There’s his ninpo, and his bo staff with his fucking mask tied around a bleeding wound on Casey’s arm, the hum of electricity somewhere down the corridors of his mind, and Casey safely bundled and shaking in a propped up section of rubble. His kid is so terrified, asks for Uncle Tello in a quiet whine like he knows.
He doesn’t remember the mad scramble to get there, the fact that he’d reached so far down into his struggling well of ninpo he’d felt something entirely shatter apart in his hands. The way Mikey had put his own hands over Leo’s, and brought the two of them together all at once. He only remembers the wake of whatever devastation cracks through him once it’s clear they were too late.
The recording he’d left that Leo couldn’t bring himself to listen to for weeks.
Leo would know if he died. He would. The light never goes out, but Don never comes home. It’s a loss he can’t name all the same.
It’s impossible to regather whatever off the cuff words he’d said last, before Don left. Had he said be safe? Had he said he’d loved him? They’d never needed to say it before, but the lack still haunts him. He hadn’t gotten to say goodbye.
‘Be right back’ is a shitty thing to lie about, he thinks wryly.
It’s the first promise he’s ever broken.
The ache never leaves but there’s no time for grief. He steps outside of himself and into whatever he needs to be, and he chases the corridors in his mind to that safe space Donnie’s ninpo has always rested. The door is closed, but it’s still humming. He doesn’t know what that means.
“God, stop ,” the kid groans at him. Leo– Sensei blinks back into himself, or— to the place between what constitutes as himself these days. The spot by the tree with just the two of them. “It sucks when it’s you somehow even more than when it’s me.”
The sludge is still there, distantly. Tugging at him in ebbs and flows. Sensei makes himself breathe out, take a look at the kid. Take stock, soldier. Focus on the problem at hand, deal with your shit somewhere else.
“Or, here’s a thought: you could deal with your shit at all. Call me crazy, but this ‘shoving all my old man pain in a box and burying it deep down’ thing seems like it’s fucking us both over.” The kid whines, leaning his head back. The irony does not escape either of them, he knows. The Uno reverse is unspoken.
Magnanimously, Sensei lets it slide.
The kid’s problem is more complicated and knotted somewhere inside himself than he likes to acknowledge, at least Sensei’s is all obvious lines of too-long-losing-wars and grief. It’s all outside. The problem has always been that it’s outside.
Sensei settles beside him, hand on his knees and head tilted up to the still sky. They don’t speak for a long moment, instinctively mimicking the long drawn out grounding breaths in sync. He wonders if it’ll ever stop feeling so strange. Seeing himself from the outside like this, entirely encased in different baggage. It’s hard to think about anything other than ‘he’s so small’, loudly. On repeat. It’s not a helpful thought.
“Sorry,” Sensei breathes as the sludge lessens minutely along his back. “Should be used to that by now.”
The kid shrugs. “Is there a way to be used to it?”
He knows he’s asking for them both. The truest answer feels the most bleak, so he opts for something gentler.
“I think there has to be a way to think around it at least? Make the brain box bigger. Less likely for the shit in it to hit things.”
There’s a long sigh beside him. “Sounds exhausting.”
A long pause. “Would it… help? To talk about it?”
Man, this little blue. Sensei can’t help the smile that tilts across his heart; he’s so tentative and determined all in one. Still stretching a hand out even though he knows whatever Sensei’s going to say might bowl him right over again.
He shakes his head. “Nah. I tried once, with my Mike. It’s an old scar anyways.”
The conversation hadn’t gone anywhere helpful, even with Mikey’s ability to see right inside his brain. They’d both been too tired to argue.
“I don’t think I could do it,” the kid says, sullenly. Tiredly. He rolls his head to the side to make eye contact with Sensei. “Live without any of them.”
Yeah , he thinks. He doesn’t say that there hadn’t been much living at all. “You know it's the same for them about you, right?”
The kid scowls, turns away. “Saying things you don’t mean about yourself seems kinda useless, old man.”
I mean it about you, though , he thinks. Something twitches in the kid's face. “I had twenty years as the last resort,” Sensei offers. “Changes your perspectives on things.” Or your priorities, really. Whether or not they needed him didn’t change that he was responsible for keeping them alive.
Or that he’d failed.
It’s obvious math with the kid anyways. He can see the way the kids brother’s hover, checking in and creeping forward and patiently holding his hand, working constantly to make him feel safe. Twenty years and mires of grief isn’t enough to drown out all the big and small ways he can see how his family loves.
“What was he like,” the kid turns with a sharper look in his eyes. “Your Don.”
He sighs, lets it roll through him. “Tired.”
He closes his eyes.
“He was really tired.”
He’d barely slept, all the way up until the end. Too many defense algorithms to scrub through footage of, supposedly— he wonders now if he should have checked in more. If he should have asked.
“Yeah,” the kid says, quietly like he doesn’t expect Sensei to hear. “You feel tired a lot, too.”
Oh . He supposes that’s fair.
Sensei swallows and imagines the fractured pieces of his heart settling back into their ruins. “It’s funny, he made all the systems in our base use his voice. Had to hear him anytime someone tried to use the microwave. Technically his last words to me were ‘front door compromised’.”
“Yeah. Funny. You ever thought about therapy?”
He doesn’t want to talk about this, it never helps. The rioting part of his core that is four parts missing and agony and one part instinctive need to move forward writhes anytime he lets himself remember any of it at all. As if he does anything other than remember it.
“Kid—” He exhales.
The kid turns to face him, frowning with that divot above his brow and his dead set determined set to his beak that screams stubbornness in neon colors. “Listen. I know how— I do the same thing, with my Ang, right? You know, where he doesn’t need all of my… me-ness on top of everything. So tell me the real version, get it out of that slow cooker of a brain so you can stop freaking out every time Don breathes our direction.”
He’s having a weird brain schism, he realizes. The divides between where this kid went and where he himself had walked are so different, sometimes past him feels like a different turtle entirely. A younger one, boiling entirely over with how little he sees himself at all.
I see you , he thinks, tragically. Pointlessly.
Sensei breathes out. “There’s not much—” his voice breaks, he clenches his hand around the inexorable pull of that dark space at his edges. The kid sees all of it anyways, doesn’t he? Dancing around it only makes it more his problem, less Sensei’s alone. His throat burns with some memory of tears, it feels silly but the words crawl out of him anyways. “I just. I never got to say goodbye. We never found out if he—”
But he had to have. It’s so much worse to imagine he had been alive and trapped, that Leo had left him there in that awful world. He had to have been dead because his twin would have broken apart the planet itself to get back to them if he could have.
His shoulders round forward and he squeezes his eyes shut for a moment. “I just, I should have gotten to say goodbye.”
The kid is silent. A long moment passes.
Sensei feels a small hand carefully land on his knee. “Sorry.”
He puts his larger one over the kids, squeezes it. “Nothing for you to be sorry for, kid.” Nothing in this whole wide world. “Whatever my Don was doing, I have to believe he’s with everyone else now.” It makes it manageable, at least. Widens the box in his brain so he can think around it.
The kid hums thoughtfully. “Can we… I mean, dad talks to our ancestors and things, in the mystic plane, right? He could maybe—”
Panic wrings through him, ice cold and visceral. Sensei feels the shudder crack through both of them and their tree side hang out waver into darkness. “--right, okay.” The kid gasps. “Bad plan, got it. Noted.”
“Sorry,” Sensei manages. “I just…” He doesn’t want to know what they think of him. What any of them would say about the world he broke. He knows them, he knows, but he’d been tired for so long before that, and he doesn’t want to know that Don went slowly or painfully. That he’d been waiting for Leo to find him.
Maybe he deserves to know how much he let him down.
The kid's hand twists, squeezing his back as hard as he can. “Forget it, shit. Grounding, let’s um. Let’s do that and not whatever this is. I hate this, fuck. ”
They walk through a few start and stop steps, the kids hand tight in his the whole time as they both dig their heels in to stay. It hurts, and Sensei wants to give in. The hand in his keeps him pushing through, cracks through him enough to speak.
“He, uh,” he clears his non-corporeal throat. “He kept a section of his database specifically for chess games for me. To run on my wrist guard when I couldn’t sleep.” Which was most of the time. Sensei shakes his head. “Kept a file for Mario Party cheat codes, too.”
The kid stares at the side of his face. Breathing steadier. He can feel it like a brand. “I knew he cheated. Asshole! I knew it.”
Sensei shrugs, a laugh surprising him as choked off and wobbly as it is. “He rigged up a giant screen once. Told me he was going to come for my crown once and for all, right in front of the entire base. Raph ended up winning.”
The stare gets more intense. “No.”
“Swear on my life,” he says. Pauses. “Or, well. My ghost possession afterlife? Don was furious.”
“Raph never wins at Mario,” he can hear the cogs in the kids' heads freezing in place. Hell has rained ice, pigs have started flying. Raphael, chronically confused at Mario Party mini game rules to a truly fascinating degree, won a video game.
“It’s true,” Sensei laughs.
“Was it the pity stars?”
“It was the pity stars.”
“Ah.”
He remembers how hard Mike had laughed at that, just absolute shrieking peels of delight as the rest of his family stared in complete silence. April had needed to drag a completely feral Donnie back to his quarters because Leo ended up crying laughing with him.
There weren't a lot of those good days after they lost dad. It’s important he holds onto them. It’s important he doesn’t let himself forget even when it’s hard to think about.
“That’s a relief,” the kid says, leaning back again. “Was starting to think everything about the future was completely and morbidly depressing. Least you had Mario Party.”
At least they had Mario Party.
The kid wakes up on his own, Sensei tucked carefully somewhere in the background. There’s a flurry of commotion somewhere out in the hall that sounds a lot like Mikey and Raph, but it’s still and quiet in the med bay.
Shit, the kid thinks, looking at the clock. It’s definitely been more than a few hours since they fell under. Sensei can see the medical clip on the kid's finger is back in place before he wiggles it off.
“Number?” Don’s voice cuts in, stern. Flat. Standing with his arms crossed in the corner of the room by his desk.
They hold up a two after a long moment. “I’m fine,” the kid says. Don’s expression doesn’t change.
“Who am I talking to?”
The kid groans. “Don’t be like that, Tello. He didn’t mean to. Half of it was me, anyways.”
Don looks squarely unimpressed, but something eases in the line of his shoulders. Relieved not to be talking with the body snatcher, probably, he gets it.
“He said he dragged you under, it’s been twelve hours. Am I not supposed to think your parasite is making it worse?”
He’s not wrong either.
The kid radiates frustration at both of them. “He’s not— Dee. He’s been through a lot. Leave off him, alright? I was pissed off, he got his flip switched. I wasn’t making it easier. I’m doing good, I don’t want to be mad, okay?”
Don’s expression flickers, faltering as it always does around their particular brand of pleading honesty. “Fine, I’m not done talking about this but. Tabled, for now. What do you need.”
The kid thinks for a minute. Water would be good, Sensei nudges him.
“Would you talk to him?” The kid says instead, startling both Don and Leo.
Don recovers first, eyes narrowing. “Why.”
The kid’s brain is a mess of picture show slides, a strange warped retelling of Sensei’s own memories. It makes him wince, guilt rising thick in his chest. He’s gotta get better at locking that down.
“Look he— he misses his own Don. It’s not the same thing, but he had a rough night. Just shut up and talk to him.”
“Oxymoron,” Don and Sensei say in sync. The kid glares.
Kid, Sensei tries.
No. Not up for debate. You won’t let me tell Casey? Fine, this is my compromise. I’m tired of playing referee.
Sensei hates the pang of panic that still lights up in his mind at the thought. The kid lets out a frustrated growl.
Stop trying to leave! I’m sick of it. What if I— what if I don’t want them to pry you out of here. What then? You gonna sit here in this pissing contest stand off with my Don until we die?
There’s. A lot to unpack there, and not enough of the kid standing firm enough to do it— the conversations knocked them both back swiftly to a one that’s tenuous at best. Sensei didn’t make it so long as a general without knowing how to pick his battles, anyways.
If this is what you need from me, okay, he relents.
The kid’s glare is still hot, assessing. He turns back to himself, to the med room.
Don’s fussing with his tablet, brows twitching and his hand firmly in Leo’s good one. “‘M here, sorry.” The kid squeezes his twin's hand for them. “Just having a conversation, hard to be both places at once.”
Don’s jaw shifts. “I will refrain from the comments I desperately want to make.”
“Noted, file that under an IOU.”
Don rolls his eyes. “Scoff. As if I don’t have a mountain of those already.”
The affection in the kid is warm and strong as anything. He clears his throat. “What if I… what if I asked him to stay. Sensei. Would you be mad?”
Sensei shoves his own festering pile of guilt and doubt aside as hard as he can. Don’s expression flattens. “Why would you want to do that.”
It’s your life, Sensei whispers.
The kid shakes his head. “Casey needs him.”
There’s another need underneath it, neither him or the kid acknowledge it directly.
Don sighs, eyes squinting in the vague pained way of his. “I’m supposed to be okay with someone that is not you, taking you away from us when—” He cuts himself off, breathes out sharply.
The kid stays silent.
“Fine. Tabled. Get him out here.”
Sensei slides forwards, patting the kid on the arm distantly and ignoring his grumble about it. He’s bracing himself— he knows how Dee is, in any version of them. Getting his head chewed off would be the easiest way out.
“For the record,” Sensei starts, with a faint curve to his mouth. “I agree with you.”
The kid glares.
Don arches a brow, crossing his arms. “I don’t…. Like you, being here. I’m not convinced you aren’t impacting him in ways that are halting his progress.”
Sensei manages a shrug. “You’re probably right. I try really hard to stay out of his way where I can, but. You saw yesterday.”
Don’s jaw works, terse in every line of his body. Sensei remembers how his Don was before Raph. The way he’d gone along with all of Leo’s plans just inherently trusting that his goal was always to get everyone back out above anything else. The way he’d shifted. Their last conversation had been a lot of sharp lines like this; something adjacent to doubt. It still burns, funnily enough, even from a sixteen year old version of his twin who doesn’t know subtlety at all.
“If I told you I had figured out how to rip you out of him without injuring Leo at all, would you fight me?”
Sensei nearly laughs, I’d thank you, he tries not to think. “No,” he says with a stronger lilting smile. “I’d just ask that you do it before Case realizes I’m here. He doesn’t need that.”
Something in Don’s face shifts. “When Leo says you’ve been through a lot, what does that mean.”
“Ah,” Sensei huffs. “Maybe not a conversation for right now—” He can feel the daggers of the kid’s ire, nonetheless. Sighs. “Krang won where I’m from, Case probably mentioned.”
“And that means?”
He winces. “A lot of things that are hard to remember, mostly.”
Don’s gaze is assessing. He types something onto his wrist guard. “Any triggers I should know about?”
You. Raph. Dad. He breathes out. Shakes his head.
“Fine. Bring him back, please.”
The kid’s eye roll is something fierce internally, externally it’s too much effort to muster. “Dee. That was barely anything.”
Don shrugs. “I talked to him, didn’t I?”
It’s fine , Sensei reassures him. He means that it wouldn’t help, not with the hole that’s been carved in him for years.
There’s nothing at all in the world for what he’s missing. He should just be better at it. The missing.
Something stubborn lights up in the kid, a spark he doesn’t think he’s seen in the younger turtle since they crash landed together. Fuck this.
“Can I ask you something and have you promise you won’t get mad?”
Don’s brow twitches. “I’m not promising shit.”
A pause. “Say it anyways.”
“If you went somewhere,” the kid starts, and his voice shakes like a nervous glance over his shoulder. Sensei tenses immediately. “If you went somewhere, and you didn’t know how to come back. What would you do?”
Don’t , Sensei thinks, helplessly.
“Wouldn’t happen,” Don says. Not a moment of hesitation. “I wouldn’t let it happen.”
“What if you didn’t have a choice?” The kid asks.
He has to imagine his Don didn’t have a choice either, clings to it with everything in him. He didn’t know the kid had seen that, the wilful refusal to believe in any world where the other half of himself would walk away on purpose.
He doesn’t know the expression on Don’s face. He’s seen it before, at the planning table. After missions. He’s never known what it meant. “I’d come back,” Don says, like it’s obvious.
This younger version of his brother, some spun off worried and sideways Donnie, leans forward and pokes the kid as carefully as he can in the center of his chest.
“If I still exist, in any universe, I’d be coming back.”
Sensei swallows. He remembers this; that simple constant of trust, of knowing half himself sat between his ribs and the other behind a desk with a computer screen. He remembers believing it, too.
There’s a hallway in his mind that he goes to, where his ninpo once lived and breathed. A living room where he kept all the lights on. There’d been a time where all the rooms and all the doors had been flung wide open. They’ve been shut for years now.
“If you didn’t?” The kid asks, voice small.
Sensei walks through the empty room, hand trailing against the wall of his mind. He hasn’t visited this door, hasn’t been able to think about it around the hurt in him. He presses his forehead to the wood of it, now.
“If I’m gone, it would never be forever. You’d just have to wait longer.”
In his dreams, or at least where he goes when the kid is sleeping, the door is warm.
He sits himself against it, and pretends it's the same as the door being open. To feel his brother existing here at all.
Sometimes he thinks he can almost hear someone knocking back.

Apocalypse Future Donnie Concepts
I wasn't actually planning on posting these until I had a definitive final design to share alongside them, but- It's probably going to be a while before that happens and I feel bad for how inactive this blog has been lately. I've been working on stuff, but only in-between projects, and none of it is really ready to post. So, here's a little something to prove that I am still alive. ❤
Donnie's design is so hard to update. It's just...so good in its simplicity??? Every element feels necessary to his character - so figuring out what to keep, what to get rid of, and what to change slightly is a definite challenge. It's even harder when we're given so little (canonical) information about what role he played in the Resistance and what effects the Krang Apocalypse may have had on him...including how long ago he was killed in relation to the movie. Or how he was killed, for that matter.
So, I'm playing around with some potential ideas and trying to get something that feels right - feels like Donnie, but if he had to adapt to the apocalypse (while also trying to stick to the show's simplistic, shape-heavy style, so nothing too terribly detailed or complex.) I'll share a few of these ideas below, for anyone who's interested.
(Also, yes - I know the spot-goatee is in no way an original concept, but I have a deep affection for it and had to include it in my design.)
One of the concepts I'm considering is giving Donnie a prosthetic leg, something to sort of parallel Leo with his Robo-Raph arm. But in Donnie's case, he probably lost his leg long before Raph was killed or maybe even before he built the robots of his family (maybe this serves as the inspiration or catalyst for the idea.) My working theory is that he was attempting to detonate a mine field full of some Krang dogs and something went wrong which caused him to get caught up in the resulting blast. He was lucky enough to keep his life, but lost his leg and probably some of his hearing in the process. Naturally, because it's Donnie (and because they're living through an apocalypse), the leg will be more than just a prosthetic limb - it'll have some kind of weaponry or technological capabilities built into it. Just haven't decided what that's going to be yet, lol.
I'm also toying with the idea of him creating some kind of "Ninpo Protection Device" - something to act as a defense mechanism against the Krang's mystic-cancelling (or, more accurately, locking) abilities. He's testing it on himself before green-lighting it to be used on his brothers (which, obviously, never happens.) The problem is I can't decide how to visibly convey this idea, I was thinking something along the lines of one of those medical aid devices that become permanent attachments to the user's body. But most of the visible parts of his body are covered in natural armor, save for his limbs and head. So figuring out the best placement for a thing like that has been a little challenging.
I was considering giving him a mechanical hand along with/in place of the robotic leg, as well. Reason being - he works primarily with his hands and almost never wears practical protection gear (another thing I tried to partially remedy with the addition of the gloves), so if any part of him is going to be lost, his hands would be the logical first choice. I also think there's a poetic element to the guy who relies on his tech becoming more and more "mechanical" himself (but only in the physical sense). It would also imply that there was a time when he couldn't work as efficiently on his own as he normally is able to, due to having one less hand, so there was likely an adjustment period wherein he had to lean into his mystic abilities (and the aid of others around him) far more than he's used to doing. A little background character development for him, because I love that kind of stuff.
These are about all of the definitive concepts I have for him at the moment, but obviously, I'm nowhere near having a finished design just yet. So, all of these could potentially be scrapped or tweaked in the final version.
If you read this far - kudos! And thanks for your interest! :>
#rottmnt#rottmnt donnie#rise donnie#future donnie#donatello hamato#Honestly - I haven't attempted a design for him yet because I feel like everybody has their own set ideas already.#And a lot of them are just...way better than any ideas I've had so far lol.#But I was kinda happy with the Double Donnies sketch awhile back and thought ''you know what let's try''#And so here we are...trying. I enjoy working out character designs and Don is a fun subject so let's see how this goes.#rise of the tmnt#rise of the teenage mutant ninja turtles#rottmnt future timeline#artrehearsals#character design

- Did Ana went to hidden city? Like leo and the rest brought her there to see senior bone man, and what the city has?
- I can imagine drax go "Hmm, either am old or she has hidden power and since am still young then she has something hidden, better do some experiment on her-" Leo pop up "ABSOLUTELY NOT!!"
- Did Ana met the turtles's enemies? Big mama, hypno, foot clan..etc?
- how does the turtles react to their brother Leo begin in love with Ana? Like they'll definitely gonna pick up on it, no?
- If you could make an episode mainly about Ana & Leo duo what would the episode be about?
- what's Ana (teen & krangfied ver)'s love languages is?
- does Ana has a dream job?
- Does ana go into part-time jobs and get fired like April?😂😅
- if ana would be officially a hamato, what would her signature color be? Like Leo is blue, raph is red..etc.
Oh, wow, we're still cooking ~
I think The Hidden City would be one of the first places Leo would bring Ana to see. I'm not sure what adventures they would have, tho, I came with an idea almost the same as in that episode Minotaur Maze with Leo mastering the maze to prove he's the champion. I have an idea of Leo dragging Ana into some kind of contest where they would need to work in pair to win. Except that unlike in that episode, this time they would actually win, and this would be one of the first times Ana would show Leo her faith in him.
Draxum would try to make a ninja out of her, because of her stealthiness xdd
I'm going to mix this question with the question about the episodes. So, I once had this dream where the turtles fought Hypno, and he used a spell that took a person's eyesight. So here would be an idea for an episode where Ana would accidentally get caught in the fight between the turtles and Hypno, and Hypno would accidentally put this spell on Ana. After that, Hypno escaped and the turtles went to find him to get rid of this spell before it becomes permanent (I even remember that this spell looked like a clock-face on your eyes.), and Ana would ask Leo to hold her hand the whole time because she's scared. And this episode would go the way to show how Ana would help saving the turtles when Hypno caught them, with them, and Leo especially, being Ana's eyes. I also have an idea for a more lighthearted episode where Ana would invite Leo to go to the amusement park with her, and he would thought they would do something like winning toys and maybe ride on a Ferris wheel, and she would drag Leo to ride on a roller coaster, double shot and stuff like that that's more extreme, and it would turn out she really loves something more like this, but doesn't ride them because she doesn't like to visit Amusement parks alone.
So, yeah, Leo's brothers would be in shock at first, because in the show Leo was usually shown to feel even disgusted by any display of love, so when he would have a crush on Ana, everyone would be stunned and shocked, and I of course they wold tease him. I imagine Donnie would give Leo some tips on dates and all.
As a teen i would go with words of affirmation and/or acts of service. After kraangification it would be mainly physical touch.
I think she's too nervous to work, but if she would try, yeah, I imagine her situations would be even worse than April's, because she's clumsy xd
I think either yellow, or some shade of red/pink, like, coral pink.

Mech's Age HC of what age they were when they died. That being said, I don't think being Mech'd locks them into their age, I think it can fluctuate between the age they died at and about 25 (their prefrontal cortex will never develop fully) depending on what the narrative wants.
Jonny: 19, Idk seems very 19ish to me
Nastya: 17, Thats how old the real princess was when she died
Ashes: 21 actually canon! 11 years +10 as described in the song! (edit its 12, not 10, so 23, not 21. oopsies)
Ivy: somewhere between 19-22
Brian: 24
Toy Soldier: N/A
Tim: 21-23, old enough to have a significant number of years in the army. Maybe joined the army at like 16?
Raph: 20. Prodigal smart. Got into collage at 14. got her masters at 18. was working on her doctorate when she died.
Marius: 18-23 honestly big gap i dont have enough vibes yet maybe when his full backstory comes out idk
Maybe one of the components to mechanization is your prefrontal cortex isnt developed yet? Bc ur in the in between stage of childhood and adulthood, just like the in between stage of Life and Death? Mature enough to understand complex topics, but malleable enough to be creative and adaptable. Cursed forever to be stuck in young adulthood.
Bonus, carmilla: 27
lmk what yall think!!

You ever just get stuck by the silliest au idea and then suddenly its consumed your mind?
Anyway TMNT Princess Bride au
Most characters taken from the 2003 series, but personality of turtles might be closer to Rise series
(I wrote this in the notes of my phone so forgive typos and weird thought process lol)
Casey is buttercup. April is westly (Originally, and what inspired this whole thing. Was that karai was buttercup and Chapman was westley lol)
The turtle bros work for stockman (bishop?) Because he says he has he will help them find their father's killer. A man who has 3 scars along his chin.
Casey just a simple farmer (oh my god. The farm house) with April there to help feed chickens and milk cows and such and such (Would she only say as you wish?? Would she be that submissive? Idk. Maybe she would as long as he promised not to call her babe lol) (LMAO HER PHRASE IS DONT CALL ME BABE INSTEAD OF AS YOU WISH LOLOLOL)
Eventually she goes off to maybe get soem schooling or soemthing. But her ship gets [sunk/destroyed] by the Dread Pirate Krang. April doesn't return and after years Casey believes she died.
Then the local royalty happens to pass by and the princess (karai)(who is told needs to find a husband so she can finally become queen) decides to make Casey her groom.
Casey still in a depressive gloom doesnt do much to reject her.
One day when Casey is out on a run (one of his few joys) he gets kidnapped by 4 demihuman turtles . :D
But then. A stranger begins to follow them. A (wo)man in black
I've mostly been going from 03 inspiration of character. But the turtles might be a little more Rise based.
Leo is inigo foil. The master swordsman. And the banter. "You seem a decent fellow, I hate to kill you" "you seem a decent fellow. I hate to die" I am not left handed. He Asks april "ever seen a man with 3 scars along his chin?" "Do you ask everyone that question?
Raph is Fezzik . Big. The muscle. (Kind) Mikey doesnt have a direct foil. May have his own individual fight with april or possibly works with raph. The muscle and taunting words and stuff idk
Stockman is arrogant and thinks hes the smartest around. Accepts April's challenge.
Don is there to keep a hold on Casey. (He plays the game a long in his mind that it doenst actually take any posion). Once stockman is dead, Don just asks for th truth about what happen to the rest of his brothers, April tells him they are just knocked out and will be fine. He says he doenst really care about keeping casey as they were just doing it to work with stockman and well he's dead so no point. Bye crazy smart lady and sad prince to be. And he leaves to meet up with his brothers.
Cue april trying to lead casey away and him being like. Oh you're the pirate that killed the love of my life! Blah blah blah so you can shove it babe!
*falling down hill* doooon't caaaaaall me baaaaaaabe! Oh my sweet april ehat have I done!? *throws self down cliff*
They go through the forest (lmao splinter as rous) (not actually but the image is funny)
And Karai and her advisor Oroku Saki meet them and casey begs her to let april go instead of killing her.
April notes that the advisor has 3 scars a long his chin. That's right. Shredder is what's his face and killed splinter. (Sorry splints. You had to die in this au)
April is taken to Bishop who experiments on his death machine. Just doing his job and having fun with his toys.
BUT
shredder shows up when he learns about the demihumans and asks too many questions about the demi humans shes ever encountered. (Theres a small but decent population in the kingdom) but especially that turtles she encountered last. April doesn't care (she does but more concerned about casey) and asks instead about casey and telling him shes never going to stop.
Karai may or may not visit April… idk. But honestly she doesnt really care about marrying casey but she needs to in order to get the crown.
Anyway its shredder who throws a hissy fit and cranks up the machine "killing" april
Meanwhile the turtles have regrouped but leo is super depressed because he failed and now theh have no lead on their father's killer. Brothers eventually pull him out of it.
They hear aprils cry?? They want "the woman in black" to help them??
Idk they go look for her
("Father guide my sword" is SUCH a thing Leo would do and the humor of it hitting the tree then opening the door is peak tmnt.)
Oh no shes dead
Enter miracle max. I mean the ancient one."she is only MOSTLY dead"
Tang shen: "I'm not a witch! I'm your daughter!" (Maybe. This might change)
They all have to push raph on the cart to break into the castle. Hun is the door keeper lol
Leo goes after shredder. Raph is hauling April around. Ikd what mikey and don are doing exactly. Maybe they split off to look for karai and/or casey
Leo: RAPH!! RAAAAPH. HE'S GETTING AWAY! RAPH
Raph: sighs and puts april down carefully and goes knocks down the door for leo. Comes back to everyone gone. "Now whered everybody go??"
April somehow gets to Casey's room. Casey is thrilled.
Karai shows up… idk. Ask why she really is doing this. Is it what she really wants? Or is it just what shredder has convinced her she needs to do (marry become queen go to war and take over other kingdoms)
Karai seems to consider it (maybe) but still cant have her groom just be carted off. April says okay let's fight then. I've taken on demihimans and been dead and came back, you really want to fight?
Karai considers and concedes. They tie her up so it doesnt look like she just wlt them go.
Karai let's them all leave and ends up marrying one of the chamber men[squire/stable boy/man servant] (is that a real term???) Chapman.
Leo don and mikey all catch up and somehow raph went and found them all horses to ride out on. Happily ever after
Cody is the grandson. Hamato yoshi/splinter is the grandfather

The stream is apparently just running in the background as it just shows a live feed of the studio.
The guys are decorating the studio for the autumn holidays. Yes, not just Halloween, Dia De Los Muertos, Samhain, and the like.
Raph was moving various boxes in and out of storage that had most of the decorations that they planned to use. Then he helped move in the ladders to get to the upper areas of the studio. From there Donnie was directing him where to hang things.
In one area you can see Leo posing custom mutant turtle skeletons on the beach set. They were even dressed in the guys color-coded beach clothes, sunglasses, spare bandanas. Along with empty glasses for their drinks.
In what could be seen of the kitchen area, Mikey is putting out a pumpkin shaped cookie jar, taking out some spooky season molds, and some other themed kitchen decorations like hand towels.
Donnie was trying their best to not use his hover shell. Because he knows their streaming this, and he didn't want to explain to the audience why he had such tech. And if he tried to pull a 'experimental tech from work' it would just lead them to believe his battle shell was a potential product of Genius Built.
They hung autumn garlands along with spiderwebs, and Papel Picado. Then strung up Halloween fairy lights.
There was an ongoing argument on if they should put a fog machine in the studio or not, to go with a small graveyard off to the side. All while they were also setting up an Offrenda near the beach set.
The audience was kinda screaming for a zoom in feature, so they could see the pictures more clearly. Though the only one that was clear was one that also had black ribbon across the top of the frame, and none of the weirder creeps could find a match for this woman. Not even in a random stock photo.
Though some of the audience make a mote that the woman in the picture has popped up in multiple streams in the past, and was just called Gram-Gram by the Turtles. It was advised by the mods to mot dig into this, out of respect, and those who don't listen will be banned until after the New Year, and if they're a member it will be revoked ASAP.
The guys move on to decorating fake pumpkins.
During this time Shelldon and River were playing with themed toys and smaller decorations. They sometimes come near the camera and just say 'Hello' and maybe answer a question from the chat, before going off to ask what they could do to help.
A while later the guys are looking around the studio to look at their work.
"Do you think we went a bit overboard with the decorating?"
"Well, we should move some of the stuff on the floor, major tripping hazard."
Donnie then comes toward the camera, "We're going to end this stream now. Hope you enjoyed watching us decorate the studio." They look over their shoulder, "Did we ever actually come up with a signing off phrase, or did we decide it was not going to work?"
There was some jumbled answer, but clearly they never settled on an outro. Donnie just turns back to the camera.
"Sigh. Well either way. See you next stream Balemates!"
And the stream ends with an ending screen picture of them in a turtle pile.

Masterpost
We started to pull out our Halloween decorations, so I figured why not them just streaming themselves cleaning up the studio and decorating for the Autumn holidays.

A van screeched to an aggressive stop next to them, and Donnie leaned out of the window with a little wave. "Hey guys. Hop in! Raph, you get in the back. Guests get to sit in the front."
"You just wanna show off the new computer, don´t you?"
"Well yea. And I think you mean Kusanagi. That´s her name you know."
"It´s not a she." Raph said, and got into the van, and took a seat behind the drivers-seat.
"That´s not up to you. She can be a she..it´s 2024." Don said.
To humans ( or to anyone who didn´t know them ) Don looked a lot like Raph, but for those who had a keen eye, their differences were several. Don was shorter, had a smaller, less stocky build and in general softer features. Looking a lot like a typical nerd, with headphones around his neck, a pair of black glasses on his beak, and a fannypack on his belt for extra storage. He also had a kind, honest and open expression on his face, and as a younger voice, as if he was a late bloomer. Nothing about that seemed to affect his self confidence though.
The van has space for about seven people, but three seats had been taken out to make extra space for storage. The inside of the van was pimped up with lights along the floor, modern sturdy leather seats ( that seemed easily customizable to make more room, or to turn around, if needed ) lot of little trinkets Don was working on, some bananas, anime stickers and toys from various popular anime shows, but most of all the high tech dash stood out.
The dashboard contained a long touch screen that stretched across the dashboard. The screen was buzzing with information, on things like reports on traffic problems, some news updates, text messages from Splinter, to a live map with twitters from the police, and some kind of AI; that looked like a green female form that slowly spun, floating in a fetus position. She looked just like the protagonist from the ghost of the shell anime movie. Yes..it was a naked lady.
"My name is Donnie. Nice to meet you. I like your style, it´s cool!" Donnie said with a smile, offering to shake Nero´s hand."
"Master Donnie. There is a stranger in the van. A human." The computer said.
"That´s right." Donnie patted the dashboard proudly, before swiveling the wheel. "Great job on noticing Kusanagi."
"Thank you." The computer replied, updating its memory in response to the positive feedback.
"Is there any problems in traffic right now, Kusa?"
"Give me a moment. Scanning.."
"Sure" Don said, contently.
"There is a traffic jam across George washington bridge."
"Do you have to chat with the van like it´s an actual person?" Raph said impatiently. I mean it´s cool with a computer and all but."
"Raphael, I am an actual person." The computer replied, and Raph rolled his eyes"
"Don´t mess with her, Raph, she´ll remember this you know. You don´t want her not to like you.. Anyways shut up for a moment, I need ask her for the best route to the junkyard."
"Memory updated. State which junkyard."
"Maybe you should get some more actual friends Don."
"Noted. Master Donnie should get more actual friends." The computer repeated, and Raph laughed.
"Big junkyard and Autogallery." Donnie then glanced back at Raph, turning the car. " Raph I´ve got more friends than you." Don said, with a little laugh."
"Noted. Master Donatello has more friends than Raphael." The computer replied, updating it´s memory.
"Remind me to work on your programming later, because I can´t let Raph fill your memory with his lies."
"Noted. Fastest route to ...big junkyard and autogallery is ready."

What would happen if Ghost was put into the universe of Eldest Brother- https://href.li/?https://archiveofourown.org/works/42638430?view_full_work=true
(Whin the same time frame as your og series)
Do you think Ghost would interact with the kids or Splinter first?
Would ghost intervine sonner when he notices that their raph is missing.
How would he react to Draxum hunting them down in the sewers after they got raph beck. (For this one I think Ghost would have to not know that raph was gone for the first five years cause obvi he would kill Draxum if he knew).
How bad would Ghost react when the events of the Ao3 start happening and raph ends up in the 2012-verse by Leo's portals.
This is going to be it's own ask because me and Debb (the author of TEB) and Therma (the artist for it) talk about it constantly.
Ghost probably wouldn't have interacted the first time he saw Splinter and the kids, just like he didn't in canon. But the first time Splinter leaves them alone for more than a few hours to go on a supply run? Ghost would be slinking in to check up on the kids. Just visually, not making contact. Then he'd leave. Then. Y'know. It's been a day and Splinter still hasn't shown back up? Ghost would drop some warm food off for the kids to find and then go looking for Splinter.
He'd make contact halfway into the second day. He'd churr to them to calm them down, and reassure Raph that he wasn't going to hurt them. He'd give them food, maybe a toy he went out to find for them, since they don't have any yet. At that point, if they're okay with it, he'd stay with them to just keep an eye on them.
He would be pissed at Splinter for leaving them alone for three days.
The second Draxum comes trying to get Raph back, Ghost kills his ass the first go. He has no qualms about killing Draxum. He does not know Draxum, only what Raph has told him, what Lou has hinted at.
Ghost would be involved with them from day one, even if they hurt. And yeah, sometimes he cries and just holds them close. Sometimes he can't handle looking at them. He takes breaks on the days Splinter actually does what he needs to do.
As for the events of the AO3 happening, Ghost would be... In full-on panic at first. Portal-jacking triggers his worst fears, especially when Donnie's trackers aren't working, his own tracker isn't working, and the last thing they know was that a portal was there.
But Leo's hurt, so he takes care of him, first. Then he takes care of Mikey, to calm him down, to soothe him and reassure him they would find Raph. Then he'd take care of Donnie, because he knows Donnie will be the most stubborn. And Donnie will have grown up knowing they could rely on Ghost as well, that Ghost also fixes things. Ghost would tell him which theories to work, which to abandon, and tell him when to rest so their brains could reset and refresh.
Then Ghost would pull out his own portal machine, and use that as a basis for finding out what happened to Raph. All he needs is a bit of Raph's ninpo to hang onto, Leo's portals, and Mikey's ability to crack open dimensions.

All TMNT Shredder’s Revenge Color References - Leonardo
Other character posts are linked at the bottom.
Here’s another post going over color references. Went through the main turtles and realized I actually did know most of them already and with a bit of research, figuring out most of the rest wasn’t too hard. All the turtles have essentially the same references, so hopefully I can make the other turtle posts quickly.
If you do have any additional info, I would appreciate it. Anyways, hope you enjoy.
# 1 - Default (1987 Show)
# 2 - 1988 Playmates Toys Action Figure - Wouldn’t have gotten this one by myself since I have none of the toys nor do I look into them much. The weapon color here though is a big indicator it’s this specific toy line (also I think it may have been the first toys which would be more reason to put it in the game).
# 3 - 90’s movie(s) - Most likely based on specifically the first one.
# 4 - 2003 Show
# 5 - 2012 Show
# 6 - Rise of the TMNT
# 7 - Archie Comics Intergalactic Wrestling? - This slot for Raph and Don ABSOLUTELY is this specific version of the Archie Comics designs where the turtles fought in some tournament. Mikey also seems quite likely to fit, although Leo’s does resemble his Next Mutation design a lot closer. Since the other 3 turtles almost definitely got their 7th color from here though and I can somewhat see how Leo got this design. I’m putting this design here.
# 8 - This one I’m quite clueless on. The obnoxious green indicates it’s probably from an older game, but it’s too colorful to be the Gameboy. He does have the “whited-out” eyes which implies it’s a game that doesn’t base the designs on the 87 show. Maybe it’s from a game where you could get a power up that makes you glow? It’s seemingly the same green for the other 3 turtles though so I doubt it’s be something like an 03 game. Most of my research has literally just been for this and I can’t find something that looks close enough.
Update - TMNT ULTIMATES Mutagen Ooze Figures - I’m still not 100% confident that this is correct, but out of all the things I’ve thought of that seem close (like the ZX Spectrum TMNT game or the GBC version of Back to the Sewers), this seems by far the closest.
# 9 - Mirage Comics - I do think that this color is likely for Mirage specifically, although it is worth noting that every turtle canonically wore red masks in that version, so maybe it is referencing a different version of the turtles. Most times I’ve seen the TMNT depicted in black and white though, it either is just outright the turtles from the original comic or it’s a reference to them, so I think it’s likely they just added a bit of color to be rad and for some visual clarity.
# 10 - NES - There’s multiple NES games this could’ve been, although all the turtles have the same shade of green which does narrow it down a bit. The first NES TMNT game (that one AVGN reviewed) seems to resemble it close enough which is the example. Something like the NES Tournament Fighters is closer in terms of posing, but that specifically probably isn’t the exact reference since the NES costumes in this game are all the same green colors, whereas that specific game had different turtle colors to help distinguish the turtles.
# 11 - Gameboy - Really any of the Gameboy games could work as the example, but I chose Fall of the Foot Clan.
All other Color References posts:
1. Karai
2. Leonardo
3. Michelangelo
4. Raphael
5. Donatello
6. April O’Neil

11. Mondo Gecko

ooh! 🏠? :]
See, this is the question I was most unsure about haha!
🏠 What is the Lair like?
I actually don't really know what "Once Human's" lair looks like XD
Well, I don't really have a layout. I have a basic idea of what each of their rooms would look like, but no sense of actual structure or visual designs to show any of you. The following is some rambling and sort of making things up as I go (except for the last part which is very much set in stone).
Splinter's room would have a bunch of random things from his travels and likely a bookshelf of cookbooks. I'd also imagine he'd have some posters in his room, mostly of 80s memorabilia. Also a rainbow flag maybe? There's rainbow in there somewhere. I'm imagining warm lighting. Maybe rainbow fairy lights? It's also one of the messier rooms, but messy in a way where he knows where things are.
Leo has the most traditionally Japanese looking room. Tatami mats. Futon bed. Probably some bonsai plants and scrolls of calligraphy art on the walls (some of which he made himself).
Mikey's room is like an art studio. Bright, saturated colors. Probably some plush toys and bean bag chairs. There's also a corner with patches of cloth, thread, and a sewing machine for making clothing.
Donnie and Raph share a room (split with a curtain). It's a mishmash of their colors and interests. There's an area for Raph to weightlift, and he has a tiny old TV which he likes to watch sports on. Donnie has a desk with various parts and blueprints for projects. She likes to have some sort of background noise while working. Sometimes that's whatever Raph is watching or doing, and sometimes that's music via some large headphones she has, connected to a decent entertainment system.
I don't really have ideas for the rest of the lair. There's probably a dojo area. And a kitchen with a pantry..? uh yeah
One important factor of the lair that I do have figured out is that it is underground, and soooorta in a space that is between the human realm and the yokai realm. Think pocket dimension. This, along with Donnie's tech, keeps the lair safe from most outsiders - human, mystical, or otherwise. It can only be accessed by people who already know it's there, and anyone who comes near it sort of magically, can't really perceive it.
Yeah, that sounds about right. Kinda dreading having to draw it all eventually XD

The yarn I purchased for the Drumbot doll came in the other day. It is the only one from that brand, the rest of the skin and hair tones are going to be from a different brand. I don’t have everything I need yet to make even just Brian; I need some felt to create the shape to embroider over for the eyes. I have felt, but my goal is to make these dolls from 100% natural fibers, so I need to order some wool felt. Luckily I know a place I’ve been interested in ordering from anyway, I only need one color because I’m going to be embroidering over it with the correct eye color, and I love embroidering on felt so I know I’ll use the rest for something else; it just feels weird to purchase 100% wool felt for such a small bit. The yarn for Brian is 70% bamboo, 30% cotton and very soft. I am excited to use it and am already thinking I’ll get more from this brand for other projects. It’s fingering weight, which is my favorite weight, and I’m going to hold it double for the dolls. I’ll probably talk more about it once I’ve actually used it.
I just need to get the felt and some cotton balls and I can at least make Brian’s body. The internet told me that cotton balls are mostly synthetic, but my local pharmacy’s store brand says they are 100% organic cotton. I’m not concerned about having to wash the dolls, but I did find an informative trio of blog posts on natural fiber stuffing. Not gonna end up using that info for this, but still good to know I suppose. I’ll pull the cotton balls apart before stuffing them in the dolls. Hopefully I won’t hate the texture too much. Hopefully it’ll be fine in the dolls.
I plan to use crochet cotton thread and perle cotton for the clothing, because the thinner fabric will reduce the bulk, for example, under the arms, meaning they won’t stick straight out like they do on my tester doll. I have also decided to switch the pattern I’m going to use. There was nothing wrong with the previous one, I just think the new one will be easier for me to adjust to create different body types.
I am planning on making an Aurora of the same size as the Mechs, because I think that will be really cute, and I will probably end up making Carmilla as well, although those two are planned to be last. I am not currently planning to make Scuzz, but I can always add them later if I so desire.
I am planning on making little compartments with a heart and lungs for Jonny and Ashes, but I’m not sure how complex I want to get with that and therefore, who, if anyone else, would also get that for their mechanisms. I need to get wire. The pattern uses pipe cleaners but that fur is definitely synthetic, floral wire would be an option but I think that’s wrapped in plastic…. Wire will likely be used in the skeleton of Raph’s wings as well.
The natural fibers is personal preference on my part. I typically prefer the feeling of natural fibers when working with them and I obviously like the biodegradable aspect. Synthetic fibers have their place and I do use them as well, this is just, sort of, an extra challenge I’m imposing on myself. And there’s so much planning going into the dolls anyway, these materials will cost more, but I know I’ll also like the dolls better if they are made from natural fibers.
I’m very excited to start these boys (gender neutral) but I currently do not have the funds for all the supplies and also have a million other projects I need to finish.
Sorry for the long post. IDK if anyone is even going to care about this, but I wanted to update and this was my second attempt and it still came out very long and there was something else I think I forgot? Maybe that I had considered doing secondary outfits for the dolls of the characters they play, but we don’t get descriptions of those so it’d be a bit difficult and definitely a separate, secondary project, but while writing this I had the idea of making Jessica’s angel outfit for TS she wore before the Toy Soldier’s costume. TS is getting “wood” colored skin though, and IDK what I’m gonna do for its hair, but it’d still be very cute!

YES! I’m glad you have these! Including the toy T Rex episode! I would LOVE to partake in writing a script for all the missing scenes! Maybe storyboards~! (I actually watched the 87 episodes that inspired these two “Back to the Egg” and “Adventures in Turtle Sitting”, and Michelangelo Toys Around”.)
I would personally consider changing line 15 to Raph saying:
15 Raph: “Try being the oldest and listening to you bozos whine all the time.” (Raph’s brow over his eyes slight camera shift while the twins are fighting about the license with Mikey’s framing included in the three)
^I am aware that the script is comically leading to the plot of the episode, but I still think a small break of it would be fun here. I don’t think it has to be every line.
16 -Also would consider having the chair launch Mikey out of the seat here/Flip over. The rest of the turtles’ eyes wide. Leo and Donnie still with their hands on each other.
(Though it might be better to have the twins fight in such a silly way after they’ve been turned into tots.)
I would also have Raph on line 17 say
17 Raph: “Wait, is this place being robbed by an adorable army of toddlers?” (Raph’s hands lift from the wheel as he looks at them in utter distress)
“I can’t hit adorable lil toddlers!” (It looks like he’s gonna cry from distress.)
(Really hank up Raph being the eldest.)
Change it from them rounding the corner to Kyle the Jellyfish appearing himself, ducking under the doorframe as he stands tall
17 Raph: “Hey!—It’s a non toddler guy we can hit!—What kind of weird day care are you running!” (Points dramatically.)
And add as Raph leaps to punch the guy
17 Raph: “PROTECT THE TODDLERS!” (Hit blocked, turned into toddler)
-I would probably also have tot Raph trying to protect Mikey and the others still. Only for it to not really work out, but he keeps trying. Later in the episode in the lair, Mikey, having leaned his lesson, mainly to really appreciate Raph, lifts Raph in his arms. “Shh! I’m the big brother for today!” And Raph to fall asleep in his arms as he finally lets Mikey take the reins.
——————————
I’m really glad you included the T-Hex episode too because after watching “Michelangelo Toys Around”, I did get inspired enough to have a plot line!
I’d image the episode could go that Stockboy had been ‘selling’ a bunch of these Dino ‘toys’ at his parents toy shop. And Mikey just hadn’t realized.
Perhaps the Mouser Mikey has causes some trouble while “playing nice”.
Mikey: “Buddy you can’t be wandering off like-“ (Mouser chews wall/wires) “Nooo! Donnie isn’t gonna like this!” (Mikey furiously shakes hand to get Mouser off.)
Until Mikey realizes what’s going on. And has to stop Baxter Stockboy
At some point the turtles/Mikey would end up in the toy section/toy store with rows of these mousers that would burst out of their packages and attack Mikey.
But just to add some dynamic flair here. The Mouser can feel. And actually bonded with Mikey with it was carrying out the ‘evil’ commands Baxter programmed it to do.
Mikey: “I’m glad you’re here. It was getting a little lonely (Mikey hugging toy.) “We’ll best friends FOREVER!” (Toy deflates, sad.)
So Mikey while facing the other Mouser army is carrying this one lil friend. And said friend helps him stop the mousers
(Hopefully not sacrificing itself to save Mikey in the end. That would be sad.)
And Mikey beats the mousers/Baxter via toy army
——-
Here’s an intro I originally had thought out. If you notice! It’s a similar format to Rottmnt’s “Adventures in Turtle Sitting” XD
(Mikey feeling lonely.)
(Raph fighting Franken Foot.)
Raph: “Boy! It sure is nice having a buddy to spare with (that isn’t my brothers)! Now if only you knew how to play a violent sport. Like… ugh… Hockey!
Fracken Foot groans.
Raph: “Hey! It was the first thing I thought!” (Punch.)
-
(Donnie and Shelldon)
Donnie: “Thank you Shelldon! You’re always there for me when I need it! What would I do without you?/I would dread the day I ever lost you!
Shelldon: “Nah. I think you’d bottle it in and internalize it into a feeling of complete inferiority.”
Donnie: “Right you are Shelldon! That said. Maybe we should upgrade your systems! There’s a close combat function I’ve been wanting to install!”
Shelldon: “Neat-o!”
-
Mikey: “Leon has my back! I know it!”
Mikey: “Hey Leo!” (Peaks head in his room)
(Note on bed. He picks it up)
Mikey: “Off to visit bone man Hueso. Be back later.”
Mikey: “Huh. I don’t see why he has any reason to visit him.”
Mikey: “Oh well.” (Mikey deflates.)
-
did anyone else read the script bits Ron posted for the cancelled turtle tot episode or is it just me? Or did we ignore it? Can we talk about it? Also if nobody turns these into animatics then I’ll have to eventually do it myself

Raph
“Hey Raphie” you said entering his room and immediately going to collapse on his bed. “Rough day?” Raph asked as he continued with his dumbbell reps. “More like rough life,” you muttered into his pillow. “Oh c’mon Y/n, school was that bad?” You sighed, wondering if you should shed some light, Raph didn’t know about the endless bullying you endured.
You weren’t like most, and try as you might to fit in, to be normal, it never worked out. You were cursed with an ability to see the dead. No one else knew, no one else could see them, only you. You had made the mistake of confiding to your friends when you were younger, and ever since then you were bullied. “Stop lying!!” “You’re such an attention whore,” “Really? Ghosts?? They’re not real.” “Freak.” “Weirdo”
The berating continued through high school. Some days were better than others. But today, you had witnessed something so creepy you couldn’t keep quiet. To not force yourself to relive the whole experience let’s just say it involved, three ghosts, and a guillotine. Enough said. And you just couldn’t keep in your gasp, causing the whole classroom to look your way. Whispering and side glances thrown your way as the teacher asked if you had something to say, “No, sorry” you replied already knowing you were gonna pay big time for your interruption.
“Fuckin’ phoney,” a group of your regular bullies had decided to follow you after school ended. “Hey! Creep! We just wanna talk, what did you see in class?? A ghost peen??” Laughter trailed behind you as you started to walk faster, ignoring them. You couldn’t go home. They’d just follow you inside, posing as actual friends to your parents. You decided you needed to lose them in the crowd, maybe visit your real friends… the group would get bored of trying to find you if you spent an hour or two at the lair.
“Don’t let them get away!” The head honcho growled, the group noticed your change in direction, heading for the bustling streets. But it was no use, you were a master of blending in, sneaking away, sticking to the shadows, you had ninjas for friends after all. When the coast was clear you dashed into the familiar alleyway, prying the manhole cover up so you could descend down the ladder quickly.
“No, it’s not all that bad..” you told Raph, sighing to yourself as you lied. You didn’t want his pity. You were lucky to finally have friends that treated you normally, regardless if they weren’t human, you’d take cool, friendly mutants over mean, fake humans any day. “Well if you ever wanna talk about what’s bothering you, I’ll be here,” Raph said reassuringly, knowing you were holding something back. He grunted as he placed the dumbbell on the floor, finished with his reps. “You wanna go to the arcade?” Raph asked, knowing it would help get your mind off of things. “Yeah,” you said turning your face to his voice, smiling at him, he always knew how to cheer you up, even if you weren’t telling him everything.
“They’ll find out eventually Y/n,” you slowly got out of Raph’s bed trying to keep a neutral face as you ignored the ghost pestering you. Did you mention that the ghosts bullied you just as much as your fellow classmates? Yeah, they loved to toy with you ever since they found out you could hear them, see them. “Then you’ll be all alone again, without a friend in this world, at least you’ll have me hahahahha” you held your tongue, following Raph to the arcade as he talked about what game the two of you should play. You were trying to pay attention to what he was saying. But it was hard with the ghost in your ear, circling you and coming in between you and Raph, distracting you so much that Raph stopped. “Y/n?”
“Huh?” You said blinking, looking through the ghost up at Raph. “I said, do you wanna play DDR? Or table hockey?” Raph was used to your dazed state, he didn’t mind repeating himself for you. But he was worried because you seemed tired. More tired than usual, like everything was draining you today. “Table hockey,” you said after a moment. “Heh smart choice, I’d beat you in Dance Dance Revolution,” he teased. “Yeah at least I’ll have a chance with the hockey,” you laughed, even though Raph was so big he had the moves!
You stood on your end of the table, holding onto your pusher, in a defensive position to cover your goal. You’d let Raph get the first push at the puck. But it seemed the ghost that had been badgering you wasn’t giving in that easily. Floating over to Raph, it always bothered you more when they went closer to your friends. You could handle ghosts in your face, in your ear, you were used to it. Still you took in a deep breath, reminding yourself Raph couldn’t see it, couldn’t feel it, couldn’t hear the horrible things it was saying. “What do you even see in this big lump? He’s totally stupid, rocks for brains!” You shot a glare at the ghost, but to Raph it looked like you were glaring at him.
“Uh Y/n?” He said sheepishly, wondering if you were that pissed that he had already managed to score on you. “Nice Raph, I was uh- getting my game face on!” You recovered, grabbing the puck from your goal and placing it in the center. You decided to go on the offensive this round. “Heh your game face is real scary!” Raph was half joking, half serious. That round had been quite intense, you hardly could hear the ghosts droning on as you focused on the game. Earning a point for yourself! “Yes!” You cheered, a big smile on your face as you looked up at Raph. It faltered slightly as you saw the ghost had it’s arms wrapped around Raph’s neck, acting as if he were choking your friend. “Nice one!” Raph said grinning, “last point to decide the winner!”
You blinked, nodding as you looked back down at the hockey table. That round took the longest, Raph ended up with the victory and he did a little dance in celebration, causing you to laugh. “Oh yeah!! oh yeah,” he sang being silly. The two of you ended up back in his room, talking and laughing. “So, you wanna talk about earlier?” He asked gently, a soft smile on his face. You knew he was talking about school, and you chewed on your lower lip. You would like to think that Raph was a really good person, someone who wouldn’t judge you for your curse. But you had thought that before and had been burned.
You sighed, looking at Raph, “tell him tell him tell him tell him tell him tell him tell him tell him” you wanted to, despite your fears. Despite all the things the ghosts told you would happen if you did. “Raph, I’m not really liked at school,” you admitted quietly and he joined you on his bed, sitting next to you. He had a confused look on his face, not understanding how people couldn’t like you! You were so nice, you were easy to talk to! Among a bunch of other great qualities that Raph listed off in his head. “I don’t understand, why??” Raph asked. “Well, there is a rumor about me,” your eyes looked past him, in a daze as you remembered. “People believe the rumor and think I’m weird…”
“What rumor?” Raph said gruffly, not liking how judgmental the people at school seemed. Whatever rumor it was, surely people would see you for you! “That I can see ghosts,” you spoke so quietly it was practically whispered. “Ghosts?” Raph said thinking that was ridiculous. “And people believe that rumor??” You nodded, cringing at yourself for not saying the entire truth. “How could they?! I mean ghosts aren’t real!” And you looked down at your hands in your lap. The ghosts in the room cackling and laughing. “Hear that ladies and gentlemen, we ain’t real! Pftahaha hahahaha”
“I mean honestly Y/n they’re the weird ones for making up such a rumor and then believing it!” Raph continued. You looked up at him with shiny eyes, “the rumor.. it was started by me.” And Raph’s nonexistent eyebrows came together in even more confusion. “Huh??” And your hands went to your face, you couldn’t believe you were about to do this. Raph obviously didn’t believe in ghosts from what you just heard, yet you were still going to tell him. “Raph, I can see ghosts. I can hear them too. They are everywhere, they follow me around. I once told my friends and they didn’t believe me, and told the entire school… so I’m the ridiculous one,” you said rubbing your eyes with the palms of your hands.
Raph’s mouth opened and closed. “Oh,” he said finally, trying to buy himself some time to formulate some thoughts. Then Raph reached for your hands, and you were surprised. You had been ready for him to laugh at you to call you a liar. “Can you see them now?” He asked curious, as if he was actually considering that you were telling him the truth. You nodded and went full on descriptive mode. “There’s actually been a jackass of a ghost following me around all day today, much like the bullies at school, he kept telling me how you wouldn’t believe me, that I’d be casted out again and alone for real this time. Of course he’d still be there, he went on to insult you… which was why I made that face back there in table hockey, and yeah wow I sound insane!” You said squeezing his hands and looking into his eyes hoping you hadn’t just scared him off.
“No no it makes total sense now, I had never seen you make such a face before in table hockey, you don’t really get upset when you lose at games,” Raph said remembering all the times the two of you had played together or with his brothers. You weren’t a sore loser. You smiled softly, “So… you believe me??” You asked and he smiled, “well I guess even if it sounds pretty unbelievably! I am a mutant after all I’m sure a lot of weird things exist even if I can’t see them!”
You hadn’t thought of that. But sure enough if you could have a cursed ability to see and hear ghosts, and you now had ninja mutant friends, was it really all that crazy? Or was this just a normal day in New York and most people were just utterly oblivious to? You decided it was the latter. “Thanks Raphie,” you beamed, he really did know how to cheer you up!
Leo
“And now she’s peeing,” you said in disgust as you watched the ghost dog squat right over Leo’s comic book pile. Leo gasped, “where did you say it was?!” He said putting the comic he currently has in his hands down to his lap as he looked around his room. “…do you really wa-“
“YES!” Leo cut you and said quickly, sitting up now and eyes his comic book collection. Already having an instinctual feeling as to where the invisible thing was. “Over the comics,” you said swiftly and watched as Leo jumped over you and out of bed. Stomping over to his collection and waved his arms frantically in the arm. “Stop it! You criminal how could you?! These are my babies!” Leo said dramatically and you couldn’t stop from snorting.
No matter what Leo did his arms were just going straight through the tiny corgi. The ghostly pew stream still going steady all over his babies. Though you really didn’t understand why Leo cared it wasn’t like they were actually wet. But you were sure he was thinking some dum dum of a thought. That it was about the principle and discipline and the blatant disrespect of his prized things. He said as much. “Lee, it’s a corgi, and let me just say it’s not mine! The pup just won’t stop following me!” You made sure to reiterate.
No doggo of yours would pee inside the house! Nope you would definitely train them, if for nothing else than to be potty trained! Leo grumbled, “and the only reason why I didn’t grab my odachis was because it’s a dog!” And you smacked your forehead. Not even bothering to explain how even his swords wouldn’t be able to do anything to a ghost. Mystic weapons they may be, you highly doubted teleportation swords qualified to be able to pierce ghostly beings.
Yes, Leo knew of your curse. And in the beginning he was a big nonbeliever. But you were way past the caring of what others thought. You’d continue to react to seeing your ghost friends, animals and slowly but surely Leo came to believe, it was either that or your imagination never stopped running. And even Mikey didn’t have that much creative juice! So Leo had decided you were either the world’s greatest actor and Donnie had paid you a fortune to prank him for forever. Or you could see ghosts.
Leo had annoyed Donnie on many occasions on that specific topic just in case. “Nardo. I’m telling you there is no prank with Y/n” he would say with a long sigh, tired of being badgered. “Poochie,” you said in a high pitched voice, calling the corgi over to Leo’s bed where you laid. Leo placed his hands on his hips. “Oh so now it can get in my bed too?” Leo questioned and you just gave him a smile, “oh come on she’s not gonna pee again, she literally just did!” You said pointing over to the comics and he admitted you had a point. Though Leo didn’t exactly know how to climb back into his bed without wondering if he was going to crush the dog.
“Lee, just hop in, it’s floating,” you pointed toward the foot of his bed. “Oh okay,” he said. “Goodnight pooch,” Leo said going to pat where you just pointed and you snickered as the dog licked Leon’s face, happy for the attention. “What now?” Leo questioned as he got next to you, laying down. “She likes you, licked all over your face when you petted her,” you explained, turning to face him. “Awwww, I love you too pooch!” Leo said happily and waggled his brow bones at you. “We’re gonna have to come up with a better name,” Leo said seriously. And you nodded, “how about Princess?” You offered and Leo asked you to pull up a picture of what the corgi looked like.
“Hmmm,” he said once he was supplied with a similar look-alike picture. “No not Princess,” he replied. “That’s a Lady,” he said in complete confidence and you gasped as you nodded. He was completely right because the dog started barking and jumping around excitedly. “It really is!” You nodded and smiled telling Leo the dogs reaction, or rather Lady’s reaction. “What can I say, Mikey ain’t the only one who can name like a boss!” He said hands going behind his head and legs crossing casually. You laughed shaking your head at his cockiness. “All hail the new name king,” you said sarcastically bowing your head towards him. “Rise peasants, no need for flattered,” he continued on with the bit.
But you pushed him arm, at the word peasant and he immediately snickered. “Just kidding just kidding,” he told you. “Yeah that’s what I thought,” you stuck out your tongue and he copied you. That night Lady had sneakily crept up to lay in between you and Leo, you woke up with the green ghostly outline of the dog missing it’s front left paw. And you couldn’t help but smile, noticing Leo’s mouth parted open and slightly drooling on his pillow. He was such a goofball, but he was your goofball!
Donnie
“Alright Y/n, have you ever seen the greats? Darwin? Newton? GALILEO?! EINSTEIN?!” He was getting more and more excited at the possibilities. Just to make sure you knew who he was talking about he flashes holographic images in front of your face of all the scientists he just named. “Well, no I don’t think so, they don’t exactly look the same as when they were alive,” you tried to explain.
Sometimes whole heads were chopped off and the ghost would just float around aimlessly. Yeah… you were immune to the gore. “Hmm well most of these guys died from heart issues, though Darwin did pass from both heart attack and seizures.” Donnie explained, and you wondered just how much of his brain was filled with information on his favorite scientists. “Oh well, then they should look much the same,” you noted as you tried to remember the faces from the images he still had up. “Though… Einstein’s brain was removed after his death,” Donnie said making a face at what you assumed he was imagining you would see.
“It’s not all that bad, though I might be saying that just cause I’ve seen pretty much everything death related at a young age,” you watched as Donnie turned in his swivel chair, tapping his wrist tech to turn off the holograms. “Well if you haven’t seen them then that’s fine, they probably don’t haunt the sewers of New York,” he joked. “You’d be surprised, a lot of ghosts just like the company I reluctantly provide, and they are all total gossips so I’ve seen a lot,”
“Why don’t you just lie? I can pretend to be Charles Darwin,” one haughty ghost stated. You sighed, “see now I’m getting suggestions to lie to you because they want attention, that one just said he’d pretend to be Darwin for you,” you said as you pointed across the room. “No thank you, no lies needed to appease me,” Donnie said shooting a glare across the room. The ghost grumbled as he faded through the walls.
The conversation took a turn as you asked Donnie about what he was working on. He went in a deep dive explanation for you, even if you could only understand a quarter of what he said, you still listened. Nodding and asking questions when you were completely confused. “It’s still in beta though, I’ve got a lot of work to do,” Donnie said as he looked back down at the blueprints. “Well I should probably be heading back up anyways,” you said as you stretched up from the swivel chair you had resided in. “Want me to fly you home?” Donnie offered knowing you had quite a walk. “That’s okay,” you had started to say when you heard commotion from across the room.
You turned your face taking in the group of ghosts that suddenly appeared. “So this is our biggest fan?” Galileo said eyeing you up and down and you sputtered, “no no that would be him,” you said pointing a thumb in Donnie’s direction who was staring at you confused waiting for an explanation. “This is Donatello Hamato, he’s one of the greatest minds of our generation, a scientist just like all of you,” and Donnie gasped immediately shooting out of his chair.
His feet tapping the ground excitedly, “Incredible!” Darwin said, no doubt wondering how Donnie came to be. “Darwin just said incredible,” you whispered and Donnie almost squealed. “Okay Donnie, don’t freak out,” he said to himself. “I’ve always had so many questions!” He started and you became a translator. Donnie did have a million and one questions for his idols and they were more than happy to answer. As the hours passed and you started to yawn the ghosts promised if Donatello ever wanted more answers they wouldn’t be far.
“They’re gone,” you said tiredly and Donnie was jumping up and down. “I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT JUST HAPPENED!!!” He said stopping the voice recording that he just happened to have running the entire conversation. “Just in case! Wouldn’t want to forget any precious answers,” he said holding the recorder close to his plastron as if it was the most valuable thing he ever owned. “I don’t think I’ll be able to sleep for a week!” He fist pumped the air and while you were happy for Donnie, you were about to fall asleep. Right then and there, the hours of scientific talk had been too complex for you to really understand.
“Thanks Y/n, that was-“ he finally looked over at you to see your head down on his work table. You were fast asleep and he smiled endearingly. He knew you had wanted to head home hours earlier so he really did appreciate you staying. He quietly picked you up, holding you to his plastron just like how he had with the recorder, taking you out of his lab to his room. Everyone else was fast asleep or at least in their own respective rooms. Donnie gently placed you on his bed, and pulled the covers over you, “Goodnight,” Donnie whispered, he on the other hand headed back to his lab. Too excited to do anything other than conduct more experiments with the new knowledge provided by none other than his great scientist idols!
Mikey
“Say what??” Mikey said wrapping the blanket that was around him tighter. “Don’t worry Mikey I won’t tell you anymore than that, I just know I probably look a little ditzy when I stare off,” you said quickly knowing he was afraid of ghoulish things. You had decided Mikey was a really good friend and keeping secret from him was hard enough. He was the sweetest, well he did have that Dr. Delicate Touch to him, but still the sweetest!
So you had decided to tell him about your strange ability. He often caught you staring off and not realizing you were being talked to until someone snagged your attention back. But now that you had told him you could not only see ghosts but also hear them, he was now looking around his room with a scared expression. “Mike, nothing’s in here!” You lied, feeling absolutely horrible that he was now scared! “Really?” He sighed in relief and you nodded quickly.
“Plus they don’t look like scary ghosts, they’re actually mostly harmless animals, like cats and dogs!” You said continuing to spew out white lies. “Wowwwww, that sounds cool!!” He said as his grip on the blanket loosened. “Yeah,” you smiled, happy he wasn’t worrying as much. Even though you had counted about twenty ghosts floating around in front of the tv that you and Mikey were currently watching. Seriously ghosts were like moths drawn to a flame when the television played. They especially liked Mikey’s choice of movie. Though you decided to keep that to yourself.
While it looked like you were watching the movie, you were actually watching ghosts argue back and forth with whose turn it was to get front row seats. The all argued like a bunch of annoying kids even though they were probably hundreds of years old. “Y/n?” You blinked and turned to the orange clad turtle. “Are there any ghosts now?” He whispered, and you wondered he was trying to act brave. You scanned the room, eyes roaming over all the ghosts acting as if they weren’t really there. A couple of snickers and grumbles were met with your stare. “Nope!” You said again and Mikey narrowed his eyes.
“What?!” You said feeling sheepish, were you that much of a bad liar?! “I can handle it,” Mikey said and you sighed. This boy was definitely going to run for his room. “Angelo, are you sure you want to know?” And he nodded. “Okay… there’s about 30 ghosts in here now,” you said calmly. And you watched as Mikey blinked and looked around the empty living room. “Do they look like Hamato’s?” He asked curiously and you glanced back at everyone for a moment. “A couple wear the family crest, yes,” you noted, you hadn’t really thought about that before. But every time you saw Splinter he was always being followed by many ghosts unbeknownst to him.
“Well then they’re family!” Mikey said getting comfortable and snuggling up under his blanket. Wow, no running for the hills?! “Why were you so concerned earlier then?” You asked unable to stop yourself. “Well a bunch of stranger ghosts haunting the lair is pretty creepy but it’s totally cool if they are family,” he said as if that rationalized it all. “Righttt,” you agreed, shaking your head with a smile. “Are they enjoying the movie?” He suddenly asked and your smile brightened as all the ghosts turned and said their praise about his movie choice. “Yes, they all really like your taste in movies,” you told him and he gushed. “Aweeee you guys!” He said looking around the room and you couldn’t help but giggle. Knowing he was looking at nothing in his eyes but truly it looked like he could see them too!
“They particularly hate Leo’s movie nights,” you sputtered, laughing out loud. Mikey snickered too. “I’ll have to tell him,” he said happy to have won out over his blue brother. “I’m sure he’ll never live it down,”
Later in the kitchen you sat on one of the counters watching as Mikey decorated the cookies he had just finished cooking. “Looks delicious!” You said eyeing them all hungrily. “What does the fam think?” Mikey asked and you turned your face, “well uhm, they can’t really eat they stopped getting hungry a long time ago, but they appreciate your artistic talents,” you explained after a bunch of answers were thrown in your face. Soon Mikey was always asking for ghostly validation to which you readily answered, becoming a translator of sorts. If Mikey wanted to know what his great great great great great ghost grandparents thought of him, then sure, you’d tell him all the wonderful things they said. Because he deserved to know, he deserved all the love and praise!!

Rise Leo x Female Reader
So Im back at it again with the one shot. Again I chose to go with female reader, but i can also do gn and male readers. Again forgive me for any ooc in regards to Leo. I had also written this at like 2 am. I also have a headcannon that the turtles like to bite. Like at random times their gums start hurting so they usually have matching chew toys. I also picture reader as a diamondback terrapin.
April
Leo
Draxum
I hid under my sheet in the comfort of my dark and cool room. I hadnt seen the outside world for some time, though its not like I can anyways. After a butched mission with the boys I hadnt even thought of anything else but hiding. We had been fighting Draxum for what feels like 100th time, and he had gone to attack April. I pushed her out of the way and was caught instead of her. The gang was threatening Draxum but apparently he didnt care as usual and injected me with some ooze. All I remember was gagging because I could feel the stuff go through my blood stream. Draxum had been cackling but stopped because I hadnt mutated like he wanted.
"What, why arent you mutated?"
I shrugged "maybe you had bad ooze" Raph and Leo then start to beat up Draxum for touching me. I suddenly felt sick and didnt want to be there. "April take me home!" I whined as she pat my back.
"Hey babe are you ok?" Leo touched my shoulder triggering something in me. I pushed him away and started feeling dizzy "Babe?"
I fell unconscious after that and woke up in bed. I knew I was different. I could physically tell that I was and with some knowledge of how the ooze works thanks to Donnie. I mustve been mutaed to a turtle. I thrash and turn in bed not wanting to be awake, but alas my stomach betrayed me. I sat up letting my eyes adjust to the darkness. I grab my phone wincing as it turned on. The screen was full of messages from the boys and april. Along with some other friends and family. I just scrolled through the messages not bothering to answer since I wasnt in the mood. I walked into my living room, flicking on the small fairy lights around the room. It was more comforting than the actual light. A new message popped in from Leo asking if he could come over. I sighed sending him a quick "sure, bring food" I quickly call up April hoping to feel a bit better.
"Hey girl! Its been a while are you ok?"
"Ive, ive been better" i spoke softly. My throat hurt a bit and my body was overall sore. "Did you bring me home?"
"Yeah I did, and no i havent seen you since then, also did you mutate?" I nodded but realized she wouldnt see me. "Ill take that as a yes. Nami do you think you can look in a mirror?"
"I dont want to. Im scared. Shit Leo is coming over, April what do I do?! Hes gonna freak out!" I started panicking.
"Hey, hey, hey, he loves you! No matter what you look like and I mean you did fall for him and hes also a turtle" she laughed causing me to chuckle. A knock came from my window alerting me that he was here.
"I have to go, thank you"
"Anytime!" With that we hung up.
The knocks came again and my name was faintly spoken. I took a deep breath and walking into my still dark room. The fairy lights in the living room gave it a small glow just enough for me to see. I peek through the curtains a bit and there Leo was. He held some italian food making me smile. I slowly opened the curtain, letting him in, but hid behind the cloth.
"Babe what wrong? Why is it so dark in here?" He walked into the kitchen, quickly putting the food down on the counter. I walked up to the door frame my body still partially hidden. "Nami?"
"I, you, you love me right?"
He quirked his non existent eyebrow "of course I do. Come here and eat" he motioned with his hand for me to come closer.
"Leo, im not the same"
"Uh clearly," i winced a bit at his sarcastic remark. He noticed me pulling back into the room and sighed. He walked over placing his hands on my shoulders, then slid them down my arms, causing me to shiver. He took my hands into his and kissed them. "Im sorry," i blinked at him "im sorry I couldnt stop Drax from doing this to you. I know that this change is huge and you wont have a normal life anymore. Youll have to go into hiding like the rest of us and if im being honest. I couldnt stop feeling guilty. When you pushed me away I knew i triggered the mutation. Im so so sorry. I sometimes think about how i shouldve never asked you to be mine"
I pull my hands away and grip his biceps "dont you ever say that! Dont you ever wish anything but for us to be together! I love you! You love me! Something like this isnt gonna change that. Sure my body is sore as hell and i really need to bite something, but that besides the point" leo smiles at my last comment. "Actually seriously why do i have the need to bite so bad right now" i massage my jaw a bit.
He laughed and pulled out a green chew toy. I look at him unimpressed "it happens more than you think. We each have one and I thought youll may need one too. Why do you think I always bite your shoulder?"
I took the toy from him and bit into it. I hummed and continued to bite it as Leo pulled me into the kitchen. He pulled me into a hug as I happily chewed on the toy. "Youre so cute oh Mi gosh and look at your shell, so beautiful!" He brushed his hand against my shell causing me to pull away. "Oops"
"It super sensitive, even more so now dang it!" I pulled some pasta out of the bag and dug into it.
"Hey that means you can now train with us sometimes. We can help you get used to being totally awesome like moi" he flipped his non existent hair.
"Imma speak with Donnie first"
He groaned "my not so awesome brother? Why?"
I shrugg "just to do a quick physical"
"Hey! Im the medic in the family let me do the physical" he laid his head on my shoulder
I giggled "you get too physical if you know what i mean" i fed him some pasta and watched he ate it with a pout. He hummed then remained quiet as I occasionally would feed him. I could feel his eyes burning into the side of my head. I felt him shift a bit to kiss my neck, causing me to flinch. "Yes?"
"Nothing, youre just really beautiful" if i were human i wouldve been flushed red, but I guess having green skin helps with that. "Can we just cuddle? I dont want to share you just yet" he wrapped his arms around my waist. "Aw honey youre so small"
"Shut up Leon, lemme eat" i moved on to the next dish. "I will bite you"
"Ooh please do, ouch" i bit down on his shoulder , of course not super hard, but just enough to quench my need. "Oh its not that bad" he then preceeded to bite my shoulder. I shivered letting out a weird rumble.
"What was that?" Leo bit me again and the sensation happened once again "leo stop tell me"
He laughed "its an equivalent to a cat purr when theyre happy or well needy" he smirked at me and I just shoved his face away "hey come on~ Im educating you here"
"Teachers don't flirt with students" i stuck my tongue at him.
"But boyfriends do flirt with their girlfriends" he kissed my cheek.
"you are being needy and touchy. Whats up?" I look at him with worried eyes.
He just shrugged "i havent seen you in a while. I just miss having you around is all. I love you a lot"
I smiled softly, pecking his beak. "You are such a loving turtle~ How could i ask for anything more?"
"Of course im the best turtle, strongest hero, dashing brother, loving boyfriend, and-"
"Greatest champion. My champion" he flushed red hiding hia face into my neck causing me to chuckle "never change Leo, never change.

Hello~ From your smut prompt list. Numbers 2 and 44 for TMNT Bayverse? I’d say either Raph or Donnie. Raph would prob be more fitting but I’m curious to see what Donnie would do 🌝
Listen a jealous Donnie is something that I’m all for cause it’s a different type of jealousy compared to what Raph’s would be
So I’m going with him 👌
Rated Explicit (18+ Only)
It’s illogical, Donatello thinks.
To have this little nagging fire inside of his chest, this is expected after all. You’re beautiful, absolutely breathtaking in every sense of the word.
And yeah you’re his, and he is yours but that nagging little pin prick of self deprecation won’t leave.
He remembers staring at the comment on a harmless photo you had posted.
‘You’re so fucking hot’
It had read, the guys profile screams basic, he didn’t have much going for him aside from doing shit like this on any girls profile. Still it nags him, cause it’s not the only picture and the comments don’t remain as ‘tame’ as that one.
That same day you had walked into the Lair in nothing but short jeans and a flannel that often dipped off your shoulder. Donatello doesn’t like this twisting and churning in his stomach.
He doesn’t like jealousy.
Doesn’t like how his brain goes into primal mode and how willing he is to fight god himself if it looked at you funny. It’s worse cause now he’s hyper aware that everyone including his own brothers have stared at you at some point. Even if Leo shakes his head and shamefully adverts his gaze back to his book. Irritation doesn’t begin to cover his feeling when Raph clearly can’t keep his gaze away from your ass and Mikey still actively (if albeit friendly) flirted with you.
Maybe he’s reading to much into it. Still he goes a little harder on them when they spar. Sleep is definitely extremely needed after he blocks all the creeps from your page. Going to the garage had been a good idea, he could take out whatever frustrations remained in his body on repairs, soldering hell maybe even breaking apart things with a hammer.
He doesn’t expect to quell his jealous frustrations with you...
Against the truck...
With one finger deep inside of your heat and the other shoved a little too roughly into your mouth.
But this is kinda helping a lot, like way more.
Because he knows his comment was stupid, like sexist possessive boyfriend levels of stupid. Donnie has never once had an issue with your clothing choices, has never told you to not wear this or that but it’s the outfit from the picture that garnered so many disgusting men to say so many unnecessary and disrespectful things.
The second the words ‘You shouldn’t wear that’ leave his mouth he’s already wishing he could backpedal and explain that it’s not you, it’s the creeps. And yes words like ‘too revealing’ ‘not appropriate’ leave his mouth in word vomit and god why can’t he just shut up he thinks to himself.
You’re stunned nevertheless, brow raised and arms crossed and can’t you see your breast are barely in the short summer dress! Donnie swallows, fist clenched.
Then of course you had to go and say it, defiant little brat that you are.
“Make me”
Donnie bit the inside of his cheek, he took off the goggles (he hadn’t even started his repairs) and calmly walked towards you.
“Okay then” His voice was low, even, just too collected for how it had been seconds before.
And thus here you both find yourselves. On the side of the truck where no one can see either of you but fuck if they walked around the sight would be too much. Your back against his smooth plastron, he’s gotta hunch a bit due to his stature but that means his mouth is close to your ear. “You want to be a brat? You want everyone’s eyes on you?” The tone of his voice makes your skin break out in goosebumps, wow he’s actually angry.
You clench harder around his finger, he’s finger fucking so hard the palm of his hand smacks against your clit. Each resounding wet noise drives you closer to cumin. “They can all look, fuck it they can all ogle and fantasize and maybe even hope...” He lets the digit in your mouth slip out in order to gently grip your chin. He moves your face to better look at him. Then your eyes go so impossibly wide at his words.
“At the end of the day, this-“ He emphasizes with a hard thrust of his hand. “This pussy, is mine and mine alone, yeah?” You somehow nod, legs already shakey and unable to keep you up. If a stupid little dress caused this then, you guess you’re gonna have to wear this a little more often. “Don-I can’t,” Your legs are officially checking out and he knows, he wraps an arm around your waist and holds you close to himself as the first orgasm is pulled out of you via his finger.
Donnie doesn’t let you rest, he doesn’t even let your brain boot up again when he’s hauling you towards the table he has for working on parts of the truck. He sweeps everything out of the way, the clatter echoing and you’re sure somebody has to have heard that. Regardless of, he doesn’t seem to care, he bends you over the table, nearly rips the dress when he pushes it up passed your rear and yanks down your underwear. You grip the edges of the table, hearing things behind you, watching Donnie’s glasses roughly be chucked onto the table and the snap of suspenders.
You stick your rear out for him and hear him groan makes a spike of cockiness but it’s short lived when Donnie pushes into your sopped heat. You rest on your forearms, mouth open but no sound can come out that isn’t a choked breath. Donnie bottoms out with a lengthy ‘yeessss’ that’s growled out. It doesn’t seem to be enough though, because he bends down, arms trapping you and he holds the end of the table. He’s so close, suffocatingly close and god do you love it.
The angle adds a burn to your cunt, Donnie loves it. He feels your heat tightly squeezing his cock and he hasn’t even moved. “They wish they could, they wish they could do this” He says it right against your ear, every syllable tickling you and making you shiver. “If only they knew that at the end of the day, you walk around with my seed in you” He licks the shell of your ear before biting down on the back of your neck.
Hard.
Hard enough you yelp, hard enough that your hand reaches for his and he cups it. “Please, please...” You surprise yourself by actually stringing two words together when overwhelmed and heated to this point. Donnie makes sure to drive into you hard enough the table rattles and you yelp and squeeze your eyes shut. He slams again and you both moan together. You want to turn your head, you’re still worried somebody might walk in.
Donnie’s amused by that.
“Scared? Scared you’ll be found like this?” He gets up from your back and grips your waist, you know he’s giving you more room to look, to watch with baited breath and the possibility of it all only makes you wetter. You wanna play along, he’s been nothing but a jealous fuck this entire time, so why not hit him with one little blow and get his gears truly going.
“I hope Raph walks in” You say, voice shakey but teasing. Donatello’s thrust still, he glares down at you.
“I hope Raph gets to see me like this” You bite your lip before licking them slowly.
Donnie literally growls. He doesn’t give you enough time for another taunt when he drives into you quick and deliberately. He fucks you, he honest to god just fucks you like you’re his favorite toy and he’s been having a bad day, which he kinda has. He drives into you and doesn’t stop until he’s pulled three more orgasms out of you. He doesn’t stop, the sight of your sweaty, overstimulated body and barely able to scream anymore voice keep him going.
For good measure, just to reassure you, he manages for you to cum one more time. His muscles burn, he’s breathing to hard, delaying his own release always felt good but this? This was something entirely different. “Say it, say it or I’m giving you another one” He demands and you squeeze him because part of you wants to but another logical point is telling you that won’t walk right for the next few days. “I’m yours! Fuck Donnie I’m yours!” You feel him kiss the back of your head before pulling out. The daze isn’t enough to not make you look behind, he hasn’t cum’d yet so why...?
Donnie wraps his hand around his stiff length and pumps fast, he wants to mark you like this, it doesn’t take him long to cum. He finishes on your rear with a low lengthy moan, some of it shooting far enough to get the back of your dress.
“Jerk” You barely find enough strength to glare, even if his tired grin makes your stomach fill up with butterflies. “I’m gonna apologize but not right now” He wipes the sweat from his face with the back of his forearm. “You can start by cleaning me up” You hear several pops when you stretch a bit.
Nothing prepares you for Donnie kneeling and licking his own seed from your left cheek. You watch entranced as he pushes down the hem of your dress to cover your modesty. “I like jealous you” Comes your soft and honest voice. “Don’t, it’s not fun” He’s feeling all manner of things, even the gooey chemicals his orgasm brought but there’s still shame. You manage to stand back up on wobbly feet, you reach up and pull his face down and kiss him, literally tasting him.
Kiss him in a way that quiets all those negative thoughts and jealous images.
“I am, irrevocably so, yours” You caress his jaw, letting him close his eyes and hug you so tightly to himself.
