(Lemme preface this rant by saying I'm not a crazy shipper - I don't go interpreting into people's relationships. I just take stuff at face value and the couples in this group have just been about as upfront about their relationships as it gets so who am I to ignore that.)

So I adore ZB1 - been there since Boys Planet (voted for Ricky because fuck Mnet) - but fam, all I can always think about is that this group has both Haobin (Hao and Hanbin) and ShimKongz (Ricky and Gyuvin), but their label won't let them date publicly at certain times for some nonsensical reason?

Like, they'll be public at times... and then not anymore. First they alternate putting the couples in the basement - can't have both out and proud at the same time or what? And now they let Haobin loose most of the time but ShimKongz are always in timeout because WakeOne hates Ricky so damn much for no goddamn reason (I'll come back to that btw because I'm mad).

But now, ever since Matthew and Gunwook got together, those two just... get to be bold and public? At all times?

They're basically talking about kissing here - their entire Pocky-challenge thing was even filmed in slow-mo for maximum sensuality lmao. And then they even went a second time because they wanted to set a record.

Either way, you'd think they'd still capitalize on the fact that they have multiple insanely popular couples in one group, right? You'd think they'd be like "Fans watched all of Boys Planet for Haobin's epic love story so let's make BANK with that!" But no.

The two top-voted for candidates - the potentially most beloved duo to ever come out of their stupid, abusive-ass survival show - and they just... keep splitting them up. For no reason. They rarely let them be on the same team, don't let them do couple vlogs or lives anymore (even though they clearly have a blast together), and even when they get to interact now, it's only ever for a short period of time.

And Ricky and Gyuvin? Mnet tried SO HARD to evil-edit Ricky but he was too damn sweet so people voted him up to the Number 4 seat and Gyuvin adores that boy so much. He literally spams the shit out of his Bubble followers just to rant about Ricky who's constantly kept from updating his own Bubble because his own company hates him (FOR NO REASON) - and the fans love Gyuvin's Bubble! Ricky-biased fans literally follow Gyuvin to get updates on Ricky!

And what does WakeOne do? Split them up. Put them on social media blackouts. Edit all their interactions out of every video. And for what? I don't get it. At all!

Do they genuinely hate their own artists so much they're willing to lose out on financial gain? Did they enjoy getting sued by Ricky's fans after they "conveniently lost" Ricky's property?

Just... I AM CONFUSION!

I want to know if there's something in their contracts that specifically forbids Haobin and ShimKongz to be out and proud whenever WakeOne's feeling particularly homophobic. Because, if that is the case, it would explain why MattParkz aren't included since they got together long after the contracts were signed.

Like, DUDE, if that is genuinely the reason, that would literally be so damn ridiculous and embarrassing for WakeOne... BRO, is that genuinely why they get to be so open while the other two couples don't?! I just need to know because this is so damn ridiculous!
