I can't believe I have been studying for a month. Comparison is truly the thief of joy. I am a slow learner, but that's okay. Find a community because it truly does make a difference. Kobayashi Matcha is a japanese synth developed by yamaha in collaboration with sega, and debuted on 23 jan 2014, in a psp game called uta kumi 575. she is voiced by Ayaka Oohashi, and illustrated by Hiro Kanzaki. matcha first featured as a main character in Project 575, in which a private v2 lite vb of hers was used. she was then released for v4 on 12 jul 2017. matchas character birthday is sep 13, and she is 158cm tall

Akikoloid-chan is a japanese synth developed by yamaha and licensed to the convenience store chain LAWSON , debuted on 13 sep 2011. she is voiced by Arimoto, and illustrated by Hidari. akikoloid-chan acted as (maybe currently is ?? idk but shes retired form making music) a mascot for the chain store, and as she such was never publicly released. she is 158cm tall, and was originally introduced as being a university sophomore, making her around 19-20yo i think

Rou Kuzuda (often written as Kuzudarou) is a japanese synth created, voiced, and illustrated by Kurukurusuuzi, and was introduced in 2015. rou is 115yo, but looks around 15yo. he is 160cm tall. he is a demon cyclops who enjoys scaring people by turing his face into a one-eyed one

Yone Kuzuda (often written as Kuzudayone) is also a japanese synth made by Kurukurusuuzi, and introduced in 2015. yone is 312yo, but looks around 12yo, and is 140cm tall. she is a demon who stops herself from aging. she actually turned rou into a demon. she can use the hand on her mouth to hide things in her body

Hagane Hey is a japanese synth developed by SHINYUSHA, and released in 2011. he is voiced by the utaite kouhey, and illustrated by rak. hey is a windows 100% utau (more about windows 100 on jul 13 post), released in the oct 2011 issue (or the sep issue, or dec, or even jan next year; all the wikis keep contradicting themselves). hes also available in the windows 100% utau starter pack

most vocaloids have their birthdays celebrated on the day they were first released for vocaloid. but did you know that some vocaloids have canon birthdays separate from their release dates?

some of these are for interesting reasons, and may be explained in their own posts. but in the meantime, here is a bonus post of the vocaloids with separate canon birthdays!

ZOLA PROJECT - released on June 20. they do not have exact canon birthdays, but they do have canon Zodiac signs, which indicates they do have separate birthdays. YUU is Gemini (May 21 - June 21), KYO is Aquarius (January 20 - February 1), and WIL is Capricorn (December 22- January 19).

Rollin’ in Style

Roll your way into some hot and trendy roller skates in this California heat!

The best part of California is that our seasons range from a cool summer, a floral summer, a burning summer, and a breezy summer. Rollerskating is always a fun pass time. One of the most popular locations to do it is at Venice beach! A long bath pike that goes up and down the coast and great bites to grab from boardwalk food to local restaurants just a block away. 

A great first stop is The Rose Venice which is a delicious cafe with great chais, french toast, and matcha croissants. Delicious! 

Next, putting on your stylish roller skates and skate along the bike path while enjoying the sea breeze and bright sun. Consider styling the skates with some jean shorts and a bikini top. Don’t forget sunscreen! As you roller skate you will see many beachside store fronts with sunglasses, tee shirts, and more food. Consider dipping a toe in the ocean as well.

End the day with a nice sunset view from the pier and a churro!

Other Vocaloids I want to get at some point, because I read they can be used in Piapro Studio for V4x and might fit with some songs I'm working on writing:

Sachiko or MATCHA

Nekomura Iroha

Cyber Songman V4 (I'm not sure you can get his V4 version anymore, but I want it if it's possible)

It's hard to pick between Sachiko and MATCHA, because MATCHA can sound similar to Sachiko with the right notes and parameters. Sachiko is more emotional, but her consonants are rather harsh sounding. MATCHA can sound cute or mature (greater versatility) and she's also cheaper than Sachiko (around $38 CAD cheaper), but she tends to sound bored if she's not tuned correctly, and she has a more restrictive character license (not unreasonably restrictive, but still notable). It's a bit hard to choose which one, since both have their pros and cons.

I was considering getting MAYU, Kokone, or Kaai Yuki, but all of their voices also have similarities to Nekomura Iroha, so I thought it might be best to just get Iroha instead.

I was also considering getting Hiyama Kiyoteru, but since I have KAITO, I wonder if it's truly necessary, since Kiyoteru and KAITO also have similar voices.
