Project 2: Remix. I wanted to convey the evils that we fear versus the evils that we think are part of every day life.

“Black Power”

“Say it loud, I’m black and I’m proud!” was evolutionary for African - Americans to say in regards to who they are and their passion and self-confidence. With the black power movement coming at such a pivotal time where it was extremely dangerous to march streets in protests, walk into places that were not meant for people of color, or to even say anything that went against white supremacy, it really made a difference and an impact on the way black power movements and protests have evolved, even to this day.
