Calahan headed to the bar, looking back as Leslie shouted out his drink order and in his intoxicated state his legs tangled in something, almost making him fall over and straight into the woman in front of him.

Always quick on his feet, despite the alcohol swimming in his system he gracefully recovered and masked the trip as intentional bow.

"Evening, my lady.", he greeted, eyes running over the long white dress she wore and the moment they reached her face, he froze in horror, almost sobering up, "Shit. You again."

Lyra eyed him with a look that promised danger, "So, uh, how about we do a raincheck on the whole "you chase me around with a sickle as some sort of alternative way of flirting while hiding behind it as being a mission from old Joseph or some shit, until I eventually manage to slip away from you" and instead we call a truce so I can buy you a drink and well, don't ruin all these lovely people's Friday night with a fight?"

Febhyurary Day 8: Crossover

Stasia didn't do much travel to different worlds and reflections, but felt the need when she felt someone odd pass into the First. There she found a woman from some place called "Hope County" who had much to be desired. From Sinners to Sineaters, to the people of Eorzea, it didn't take long for Lyra Fairbanks to adapt to this new world. Together the two made the Source their own, starting with the city of Ishgard.

There weren't many people in Hope County with a presence, there were few who made themself known by being loud either visually or verbally but not many that could just announce themselves without words or catching attire. Lyra Fairbanks had presence, a large and imposing one that followed her like a thundering chorus. It shook the ground with her silent steps and stilled the air with her peircing stare.

Heather had been more then a little impressed and almost intimidated, but the latter quickly melted the first time they properly met. It was exciting, shaking hands with someone posing that energy, the kind a predator wore during her hunt. Heather felt as if she'd met an equal after being in a sea of sheep for years and she was thrilled by it.

The only downside being that John always lingered close to the redhead and glowered like a possessive hound if Heather so much as smiled at her. Not that, that deterred Heather in the slightest. Their conversations were never long but they spoke volumes and only served to grow Heather's intrigue, she almost felt like writing notes when Lyra interacted with the deputies or other nosey outsiders.

Heather considered herself a good puppeteer but Lyra made it look like an art, a tango where the other dancer was wearing a blindfold and totally at her mercy. Honestly, she was smitten with her mind or more so the mystery of it, and who could blame her?

Kit leaned against the fireplace of the ranchsion, her arms crossed over her chest as she eyed the other redhead in the room. Her pale stare focusing a little too long on Lyra, enough to catch the side eye from John as he continued to blather on about saving souls.

She'd never seen someone quite like Lyra before.

More a goddess than a human, though that shouldn't have been a surprise considering John was practically crawling on his knees for her most times. She walked around in stilettos (hardly practical in a war zone) but Kit supposed a woman like Lyra wouldn't exactly want to be seen matching her silk and lace gowns with a pair of hiking boots. She managed to make Kit feel both under-dressed and over-dressed at the same time, considering the length of leg and width of cleavage she was showing. Either way, it was clear that the two of them came from very different worlds.

Though that didn't mean they weren't alike. There were the murders after all. Not to mention them both being adept at hiding who they were as they slipped between the worlds of the Resistance and the Project. Working together from the outside in as the cult increased its foothold in Hope County

Cooper moaned loudly, getting close to release, as Lyra nipped and licked at his neck, her perfumed red hair cascading down around them; completely overwhelming Cooper’s senses.

She wound her fingers in his curls, tilting his head back, kissed his neck softly, before biting down hard, breaking skin.

“Th-that’s too hard” Cooper gasped, “that hurts,” he gripped her arms, trying to push her off, “stop! What the—“

“Shhhh” Lyra lifted her head from his neck; her canine teeth had elongated into pointed fangs which were glimmering with blood.

“Are….are those real?” Cooper said, staring as Lyra laughed.

“You are funny,” she said, licking a trickle of blood from the corner of her mouth; she grasped his wrists and pinned his arms down as easily as someone might pin a butterfly’s wings.

“They’re very real, darling,” she said while Cooper struggled uselessly, “now relax and this will be over before you know it.”
