Lessons I have learned from the first two Ace Attorney games:

Never trust the rich and powerful, they will always be your worst enemy

Big, scruffy men on the other hand, have hearts of gold and always have your back

The people with the guiltiest conscience will always be innocent

Witnesses are almost always mistaken or making things up

Even if they have photographic proof

Spirit mediums need to go into some kind of witness protection

Slamming a desk gets your point across

So does pointing fingers

And shouting across the courtroom

Evidence can be presented like a Yu-Gi-Oh trap card and still hold up in court

When given the chance, always press further to get more information

The past will come back to haunt you. Sometimes literally

The entertainment industry needs to do some serious background checks on its performers

Detectives need a union

Never give up, even when the odds are against you and you seem to have used up all your options

THE GHOST TRICK REMASTER IS NOW PLAYABLE!!!

I've played this game a few times start to finish and its always been an amazing experience every time, and I can't recommend it enough! I would also like to note that if the remaster performs well enough the game's director Shu Takumi has said that a sequal could be possible!

I can't recommend this game enough and I hope everyone who is playing the game for the first time has an amazing experience💜

i came up w/ a new oc today and i adore her.

I've been thinking about it off and on all day & I wonder if exposure to large franchises makes people more likely to engage with fandoms first rather than going through the source material.

To engage with the entire source material for Pacific Rim takes, like, 2.5 hours tops. But depending on how hardcore you are, writing a Captain America fanfic might require reading 50 years of comics. Or 20 hours of movie. Watching all of Star Trek was easy when it was just TOS, but to know all of canon now without consulting the wiki would probably take several straight weeks of TV watching. So now there's not just more media out there in the world, for a lot of fandoms you're scaffolded on top of some franchise behemoth.

And maybe that makes folks more likely to follow a favorite writer/artist into things fandom-first.

“Pick up” You grumble, the facetime ringtone going on longer than you liked.

“Hey baby” She spoke, your favourite sound. “Sorry I left you hanging, my mom was on the phone.”

You bite you lip softly, fiddling with the drawstring on the hoodie you were wearing, her hoodie.

“Don’t worry, your here now. I missed your face.” You smirk softly.

“Are you flirting with me Miss Y/L/N” She gasps.

“Maybe I am, Miss Oberdorf.”

The next morning, your alarm wasn’t much help.

“Y/N!!” Gio shouts, barging through the door. “Wake up!” She throws a pillow at you.

“Fuck Gio” You groan, throwing the pillow back but completely off target.

“Spent too much time on call to you lover girl eh?” She teased.

You stuck your finger up at her then flopped your head back onto your pillow.

“What are you moping about?” Gio slumps beside you, trying to look at your phone to see who you were messaging.

“Hmm, nothing.” you quickly turn your phone off, not wanting her to see. “Why are you still up anyways, you said you were going to sleep.” You raise an eyebrow slightly.

Gio shrugged. “Got bored, came to make a drink.”

You fiddle with your phone case, eager for your own space to continue your message conversation.

“I went back to claim what was mine.” Gio looks at you.

“You what?” You look at her, confused.

“You used my face wash.. I just went to get it back. And i saw the polaroid on your cabinet.”

“Of….” You tried to act dumb but you knew exactly what she was talking about.

“You and.. Lena” She looked at you with an expression to tell you that you can let her know anything.

“Hmm” You hummed, blushing slightly.

“There was one of you kissing. Are you guys.. you know”

“Yes, well done detective Gio. Lena and I are dating.” You huff, admitting defeat.

“How long?”

“A year”

You walked through the tunnel and out onto the pitch, standing beside Caitlin and Rafa as the UWCL anthem played throughout Emirates Stadium.

Wolfsburg had been knocked out of the competition at the quarter final stages by Lyon which meant Lena was able to fly over for your semi final game against Barcelona.

You didn’t know where about she was sat but you knew she was in the stadium. A member of the coaching staff managed to get you a couple tickets for the boxes for Lena and her friends.

When the whistle blew you played you absolute heart out. A sold out stadium against the best in the world and you dreams in the champions league all fell on this game.

You managed to score yourself a goal at the 27th minute but the enjoyment had been zapped right out of you when Aitana got an equaliser at the 34th.

Jonas’ half time team talk was simple. Keep possession and attack on the left, their weakest side.

You got out again, the ref blew the whistle and the second half began.

Foul after foul and finally the ref was on your side, giving Arsenal a free kick.

Frida took it and you got your head on the end, getting it past Paños.

You started celebrating, jumping onto your teammates, making it 2-1 at the 90th minute.

The ref blew the whistle and you looked up, confused. Then you felt your heart drop. 3 letters on the screen. VAR

“What!” You looked around, Lia’s hand falling onto your shoulder.

Lena was up in the crowd, her phone in hand and taking a video of the scene in front of her. When the ref confirmed the goal, you ran round the pitch. She smiled to herself, your jersey under her jumper.

“Well done, my girl.” She whispered under her breath.

The full time whistle blew and you had beaten the spanish side. You did a lap of the pitch and signed a few things for some fans.

A young boy asked for your shirt but you had to tell him you’d promised it to someone else. That someone in the crowd too.

You made your way up to the box Lena was in with Jule, Jill and Lynn.

“MVP MVP MVP” They started chanted.

You blushed and told them to shut up, embarassed as everyone looked at you.

You slipped your arms around Lena’s waist and buried you head into her neck. She whispered in your ear. “You are amazing, talented, a special girl.”

“Are you flirting with me, Miss Oberdorf.” You giggled softly.

hey. I don't know who this will reach, but my name is Jami Lynne and I worked as a composer for the video game "omori". I understand a lot of y'all played and enjoyed it. And as far as my contributions to it, I'm very grateful for the support and enthusiasm. However, in regards to the character I contributed to the story of that game, "Space Boyfriend", I have to draw some boundaries with some of you.

Please stop digging through my past to look for more information about this character. Nothing I made about this character in the past has anything to do with Omori. Please understand that this musical project of mine was very inexorably linked to myself and my feelings at the time, and in my mind the person behind that project is not the same person I am today. "Space Boyfriend" is very close to a 'deadname' for me. And recently, I have heard from several old friends and collaborators of mine about fans reaching out to THEM about old art or merch they made for me that is no longer available. I need this to stop, immediately.

Whatever is out there online, is out there. I can't and won't try to control that. If people seek my old work out and enjoy it, that's great! I just ask that you understand there is a lot of pain involved in this past project of mine, and it feels like my skeletons are being unearthed without my consent. Please have some compassion about this. And please stop emailing or messaging other people who are not me about this project. There is nothing omori-related to gain from any of this. Space Boyfriend was a very personal and vulnerable project for me, a way to explore myself and my feelings at the time, none of this has anything to do with the character's appearance in the game. Please understand that the Space Boyfriend in omori and the character depicted in my old art and music are completely separate characters. I understand and appreciate the interest, but the thorough investigation of this old art is incredibly invasive and incredibly painful for me. It is already complicated enough to be involved with omori, as I share a soundtrack with someone who is a domestic abuser who's outing was largely ignored by this same fanbase. Please understand how much skin I have in the game on this one. Please have some compassion. Email me about it if you absolutely must, but please leave my old friends and collaborators out of this. Please.

He shoots a text to Maddie as he's unlocking his door—home safe—and gets a heart in response a minute later. His thumb hovers over his text thread with Eddie. Instead of typing, he scrolls back up. Months worth of messages, little nothings—Tiktok videos and photos of weird things he found on his runs, Eddie's culinary successes and disasters, which he faithfully documents for Buck's entertainment, a week-long running argument about baseball, which Eddie follows passionately and which Buck only follows so he can needle Eddie about it. Grocery lists. Shift changes. Christopher's after-school activity schedules. He's not even sure what he's looking for. A sign, maybe. Something he missed.

In April, around the time of the poker game, is a text from Eddie that reads, You're cooking us those steaks, right?

lololol as if i would let you near them, reads Buck's reply.

Eddie responded with an unamused emoji and, Spoken like a man who never wants to eat my abuela's picadillo ever again.

she loves me she'll give me the recipe.

Don't push your luck.

Eh, you're alright, is what Eddie wrote back. After that is a bit more back and forth, culminating in an agreement to do dinner with the two of them and Chris at the loft and a link for the marinade recipe Buck wanted to try. Normal, normal stuff. He scrolls back up to his own text: you love me too.

Welp have another Ghost Trick post. I've caught the brain rot and it's terminal.

SPOILERS BELOW SO IF YOU HAVEN'T PLAYED THE GAME then scat. Go on. Spit spot. Shoo.

In the post-credits, we see some lovely scenes tying up loose ends, one of which is Lynne, the Jowd family, and our favorite lanky Inspector having a nice dinner together. One of my favorite scenes, but I couldn't help but notice one detail...

While Jowd and Lynne are chowing down on entire roast chicken like it's nothing, Cabanella is slurping up a plate of spaghetti like the fabulous fella he is.

But why only him? Wouldn't it have been easier for Alma to serve everyone the same thing, crispy golden chicken for everyone? And sure, Cabanela is a mysterious man of multitudes, but to me, he doesn't come across as someone who would be a poor house guest. Especially considering his deep friendship (and/or homoerotic relationship teehee) with Jowd, which extends to Jowd's loved ones. He doesn't seem to be the type to request a different meal from everyone else's...unless there was a good reason.

Now this is most likely for Ghost Trick to use awesome animation to flex their guns and show what kind of character Cab is just by how he eats (which is fabulously lol)

But then the thought hit me out of nowhere.

What Cabanela is a vegartatian? What if that spaghetti with meatballs is spaghetti with tomato sauce or a vegetarian alternative?

If this were indeed the case, then considering Cabanela's closeness with Jowd and his family, it'd make perfect sense that the Jowd's would be aware and more than happy to accommodate their dear friend (and/or lover teehee).

I may not have the big brain to brainstorm all the intricacies of these characters, but I still really like this headcanon. And maybe y'all will, too!
