dnd 5e builds for base strive cast (+ goldlewis!)

Sol: either an Artificer (Battlesmith) w a Barbarian (Totem) dip where his Steel Defender is his bike and Elk/Bear rage is dragon install OR a Wizard (Bladesinger) with a belt (headband) of giant strength and Tasha's Otherworldy Guise as his DI

Ky: Hexbalde Warlock w a Battlemaster Fighter dip since he seems charismatic and his patron cld be the Thunderseal. His manouevres: Trip (Stun Dipper), Lunge (Foudre Arc), Riposte (Vapor Thrust). Meanwhile, Eldritch Blast = Stun Edge, Booming Blade = Dire Eclat, can blow his limited spell slots on Lightning Bolt (Sacred Edge) or Hasted Booming Blades + Relentless Hex or just Thunder Step (RTL). Possibly take a sorc (Storm) dip or the Metamagic Adept feat to transmute spell and change his damage types to lightning + gain flying speed.

May: Ranger (Beastmaster) for sea animal shenanigans. Possible dips into Paladin (Devotion, to the Jellyfish Pirates) or Fighter (Cavalier) for mounted combat features and bonuses (e.g. Find Greater Steed)

Axl: Ranger (Horizon Walker) + Monk (Kensei)/Fighter (Battlemaster). The boring and "correct" answer here is pure bladesinger wiz using a flavoured whip for the Time Stop spell, but the teleportation offered by Horizon Walker and the idea of slipping between planes of existence seems flavourful. Ranger features also have a bit more trap laying flavour. Monk bonuses for movement speed + unarmoured defense to remain slippery while dressing casual.

Chipp: Monk (Shadow) with the Fey Touched and Shadow Touched feats for access to Shadow Teleport + Misty Step + Shadow Blade and maybe a small spellcaster dip into Sorcerer (Shadow) if only to get Quickened Spell for ninja flavour + Mirror Image (multiple Chipps!)

Potemkin: although a pure Fighter (Champion) is tempting, the 4 attacks per turn feels at odds w the slower, lumbering idea of Potemkin. Instead I propose DM fiat to allow smiting while Unarmed, then build Potemkin as a Variant Human (base feat used to learn Unarmed Fighting style) with full Paladin (Glory or Redemption). His devotion and larger than life presence give him moral power behind his blows which are weighty (big ass smites) but infrequent (2 per turn). The other athleticism, tanky abilities come from his Paladin subclass features. Spells like Command and Compelled Duel reflect his intimidating presence and ability to control the field. Spells like Thunderous Smite and Destructive Wave reflect his sheer terrain-altering strength. Feats could include Grappler, Tavern Brawler, Tough.

Faust: Pure Wild Magic Sorcerer or an even split btwn Wild Magic Sorc and Life Cleric. Dimension Door/Misty Step for teleports. Items could represent by: Meteors (Minute Meteors), Bomb (Delayed Blast Fireball), 100T Weight (Earth Tremor/Earthquake), Donut/Banana (Healing Word/Cure Wounds), Afro (reflavoured Web since its also a control debuff that turns into damage after fire exposure), Minifaust (so many summon spells but I like the idea of Guardian of Faith from Cleric), Trumpet (Insect Plague), Hammer (Catapult). And then Haste can be used with Quickened Spell to simulate item throw super. Tack on a couple fighter levels perhaps to Action Surge and emulate the 100 tension version + give some oomph to the occasional scalpel normal.

Millia: not base dnd but i think she fits a Blood Hunter (Lycan) pretty well. The flavour of undergoing a dangerous and forbidden procedure for power, the hair transformations... probably uses Rite of the Oracle (psychic) and Blood Curse of Binding (tandem top) to hold enemies in place for devastating up close "mixups" while still remaining highly mobile.

Zato: Fighter (Echo Knight) w a Monk (Long Death) dip (or, potentially, Undead Warlock). Fragile but frequently summonable puppet fighter w a Monk dip for the "unarmoured melee fighter" vibe + undying flavour or Warlock dip for more spell slinging vibe+ access to flight spells.

Ramlethal: taking a bit more from her Xrd incarnation, a mixed Cleric (Twilight) for access to Spiritual Weapon for the "remote/hovering sword" + a hover/fly movement rather than regular walking and a Warlock (Hexblade) with the Eldritch Smite invocation to burn spell slots for chunky damage that knocks enemies flat on their asses (Mortobato).

Leo: Rogue (Swashbuckler ) + Barbarian (Totem). Probably a Tiger/Elk Barb for the movement speed and the animalistic vibe, while the Rogue levels and Swashbuckler features give the idea of a speedy duelist who occasionally snipes out big damage hits from "converting" movement speed based mixups. (also Swashbucklers benefit from Charisma, which leo definitely has since hes led so many soldiers to their deaths 🥰)

Nago: Fighter (Samurai). I think a majority of Nago's features and design are reflected in this subclass- the idea of a fighter who takes a slow and measured approach while occasionally bursting into a flurry of sudden violence. The high level Samurai feature of taking another turn upon getting dropped also kind of feels like Nago blood rage- a last second gambit at the verge of defeat type of deal.

Gio: Monk (Astral Self). Gio's features as an unarmed, unarmoured, mobile fighter w a not-quite animal spirit are perfectly encapsulated in this subclass, down to her appearance transformations at high tension

Anji: Bard (Swords) with Fighter (Battlemaster) dip and the Dual Wielder feat. Swords Bard explains his armoured twirl (Defensive Flourish) and other more magical effects like the butterfly, koi, and his cinematic super. Battlemaster Trip (rekka low), Push (corner carry off fuujin), Sweep (spinny spins), Parry/Riposte (dedicated counters).

I-No: Oddly enough i dont think she's a pure bard. If anything, I think her style seems more offense oriented than support, so she probably has way more Sorcerer (storm) levels for flying and her other magic shit. For her Bard dip, probably a Whispers bard to play into her role as a mysterious and menacing antagonist figure.

Goldlewis: Paladin (Watchers) with a Warlock (GoO) dip. Watchers paladins already deal w abberations and aliens, and his smites could be flavoured as his big behemoth typhoons/down with the system. Warlock spells and blast reflect the gadgets stored by his alien.

i love the idea of aaron. like, some guy whos hellbent on revenge learning to live and love outside of it?? and he finds not only love but a new home in someone else searching for the same thing after they've both lost so much??? UGH ITS SO GOOD. and then jesson fucking. fumbled it. SO BAD. im still mad abt it almost like. ten yrs later (how tf is diaries this old i swear it was still airing like last yr). so uh. ive tried to go in n fix him. i swear. but in the process a Lot of his backstory n stuff has been overhauled and im sorry to all the canon aaron truthers but the way that jesson handled his arc n stuff was God Awful and i hate it. so uh. yeah.

aaron shows up in ashes, ashes way earlier than he does in canon diaries - hes following the high priest's trail, and when he catches wind of him travelling to phoenix drop to officiate a wedding and track down his supposedly dead brother, he follows the rumours and shows up right after alexis is cursed. he forms a sort of truce with aph (although garroth is hesitant to trust him, given that he wants to murder his younger brother n garroth still believes that zane can be saved) and fucks off again until they meet up again when aph n co are snooping around pikoro trying to find lord luke so that she can sign a trade deal with him - aaron's (rightfully) convinced that zane has something to do with luke's disappearance, and once all that tomfoolery is settled, he decides to return to phoenix drop with aphmau, believing that the impending war will offer the best opportunity for him to finally kill zane.

as we all know, though, this... really doesn't go to plan. they get trapped in irene's cathedral - which is more of a labyrinth with religious imagery plastered everywhere - and it isn't aaron who lands the killing blow on his mortal enemy, but rather garroth, who gets possessed by esmund's relic. then, when they manage to escape thanks to zoey, ten years have passed and the cathedra of irene (the religious organisation that zane was in charge of as high priest) has all but collapsed. up until this point, all aaron has really been living for is destroying the cathedra, and with his job already done for him by the passage of time, he's now sort of... lost, is the best way i can really describe it. he decides to stick around in phoenix drop - although he doesn't really want to admit it, the people are nice, he's become friends with garroth and katelyn, and it's a safe place for him to stay while he figures out his next moves. it also doesn't help that aph keeps roping him into her adventures (although he secretly enjoys having something to do).

it's through these new connections that he learns to start opening up about his past; how he was raised as the heir to the lordship of a hunting town up north named falconclaw, how the cathedra ordered its destruction and the murder of all its people due to them allegedly being descended from shad, the destroyer, how he came back from a hunting trip to find all his family and friends dead, how the grief manifested in a long-dormant magick that causes anything he lays eyes on to disintegrate, only to be controlled by an enchanted blindfold given to him by a passing elf who took pity on him. over time, he learns to control his magick, leading to him starting to leave his blindfold off - a sort of symbol of his willingness to trust in others, and to trust himself around others. most of this is me wanting his fuckass bandanna to have some sort of meaning behind it outside of "uwu edgy man with edgy outfit" but uh yeah. idk.

anyway, after a while he decides to stick around permanently right before the gang heads to gal'ruk to track down carin valkrum, an ex-juror who went missing decades prior, who katelyn is convinced knows of the whereabouts of the keeper's relic.

which means an outfit change. i tried to make his second winter outfit noticeably lighter than his first one, but still incorporating his trademark reds and browns. there isn't too much else to say abt this outfit? i dont think?? like there isnt a ton of lore stuff tied up in it except "oh hes going to a cold place lol". uhh i guess i could mention that he has a fucked up knee from a hunting accident when he was younger, hence the wrapped up knee?? idk. also he has a lil brooch w a falcon claw on it as a sort of homage to falconclaw. and his fucked up eyes r a reference to his eyes being fucked up in mys. yeah. idk.

uhh casual outfit. i like to think that he asked laurance for help w finding something to wear that wasnt super casual for more formal events (like the monthly potluck dinners that phoenix drop holds for everyone to celebrate the new moon) bc garroth is fucking useless when it comes to clothes n katelyn isnt that much better so laurance, having grown up in meteli surrounded by pirates, threw a billowy white button down at him n told him to go ham. i think laurance also lowkey influences aaron to get the falcon tattoo at some point - i dont think he loses the brooch, but since its so obviously a reference to his birthplace in ru'aun and could potentially get him and the rest of the gang hurt or even killed once they decide to travel to tu'la, he decides to get the kārearea tattooed over his heart as an homage to his family. anyway, it's in tu'la where he learns that he isn't the only survivor of falconclaw as he had previously thought: the werewolf pack that he'd grown up alongside (blaze, dottie, maria, rylan, and daniel) are still alive and well, as is melissa, although she's been cursed w what will later become known as the "ultima" curse due to her striking a deal with the demon warlock in an attempt to restore falconclaw. anyway, it's pretty emotional, esp since both sides have long thought the other to be suuuper dead. the scars on aaron's forearm are from when he n blaze got into a tussle as kids.

and finally, his destroyer form! after katelyn finally kills ivy n recovers shad's relic, there's a lot of debate as to what to do with it; some folks think its best to find it a host, others want to try and destroy it, and others want to simply lock it away in a pocket dimensino or something to keep it safe. eventually, aaron decides that, in order to protect the family he's created and the family he's rediscovered, it's probably best for him to take on the mantle of the destroyer of the second war of the magi, especially once it's revealed that the aaron of the first war (shad) cleaved his soul in two once he began to get corrupted by the influence of the void - the half that was corrupted would become the shadow lord, whereas the uncorrupted half would go onto reincarnate like the other souls of the divine warriors (excluding irene). i'm still fiddling around w how the second war of the magi ends, but my thinking as of right now is that the first war ended with irene burning away her first physical form to seal the shadow lord in the nether, the second war (mcd) ending w the restoration n reunification of shads soul n the divine warriors sealing away most magicks as a temporary stopgap against the spread of the void, and the third war (mys) being the war in which the void is finally defeated.

and finally some headshots. i personally headcanon aaron as being autistic as fuck n being the kind of autistic where he isn't super expressive (sorta like garroth), although a little less stern. speaking of, i really wanted him n garroth to be sort of foils for each other: namely, where aaron was raised to only ever see lordship as a privilege, garroth was raised in an environment that led him to believe that lordship was only ever a burden. anyway, they're best mates n i will die on this hill. yeah i know that in the first war esmund n shad didnt like each other that much (as an understatement) but something something healing the wrongs of the past with each reincarnation cycle something something they're best friends now and you can't stop me. also he and aph do end up together but it takes sooo fucking long, like those two are the most awkward motherfuckers this side of ru'aun and it takes longer for them to confess than it does for garroth and laurance to confess and thats Saying Something. like. c'mon. it was stupidly out of character for this wet noodle of a man to hook up w aph in the middle of s2. tell me that u don't know how to write ur characters without telling me that u don't know how to write ur characters n all that jazz.

I have a handful of ShigaDeku fics I've been consistently working on over the past couple of months. I keep switching back and forth and writing out small scenes for each story in order to get a sense of the direction I want to take them in. They're all different flavors of dark romance and hurt/comfort and have great potential. I just can't decide which one I want to write first. Help meeeeeee! 😭😭😭

Canon Divergence Soulmate AU

Dark romance, action, hurt/comfort, and psychological drama.

Long-lost childhood friends to mortal enemies to soulmates.

Heroes vs. villains dilemma (fixing systemic issues in hero society together with Hawks + Aizawa + the League of Villains).

Izu and Shiga discovering they're not only childhood friends but also soulmates whose souls are tied to each other for eternity.

Set in canon universe and loosely follows the MHA storyline EXCEPT it actually has a genuinely hopeful ending, gives the League a redemption arc, and achieves lasting changes for society!

Yakuza Stepbrother AU

Dark romance, suspense, hurt/comfort, and crime drama.

Izu and Shiga are stepbrothers through Inko's secret marriage to All For One fifteen years prior to the beginning of the story.

Shigaraki inheritance dilemma (Izu signs away his rights to the fortune away because Inko (on her deathbed) told him to do so in order to protect him from getting involved with mafia drama. Too bad she didn't consider Shiga becoming obsessed with Izu upon meeting him and dragging him into the mafia world anyway). 😅

Yakuza territory war dilemma (because Izu is technically Shiga's stepbrother by marriage, he's threatened strongly encouraged to stay with the Shigaraki family until its safe for him to move out.

Tartarus Rehabilitation AU

Dark romance, thriller, hurt/comfort, and psychological drama.

Izu is a therapist-in-training who believes in rehabilitation for criminals. Shiga is a serial killer incarcerated in Tartarus for going on killing sprees targeting people who are cruel to animals.

Due to one of Izu's co-workers being sick, he's called in to cover for an interview with none other than Shiga himself. By the end of the interview, Shiga becomes infatuated with Izu and refuses to speak to anyone else or release important details about his murders unless Izu is the one questioning him.

Shiga's obsession eventually becomes worse and worse until he breaks out of Tartarus with the help of All For One (because of course he does) and Izu is like, well shit, time to go into hiding!

Paranormal Fantasy AU

Dark romance, paranormal fantasy, hurt/comfort, and horror.

Izu is a mystic who specializes in healing medicine for immortal beings like vampires, lycans, shapeshifters, mages, certain kinds of demons, undead, cursed beings, and of course, all of the supernatural hunters who get hurt keeping these beings in line.

Shiga is a hybrid of unknown origin (haven't decided if he's going to be a half-demon or half-vampire yet) who gets grievously injured one day defending his territory from an opposing coven leader.

Dabi drags Shiga to Izu's remote cottage and demands that the mystics heal his coven leader or he'll slaughter him right then and there. Izu, never being able to deny someone in need of healing, decides that he'll heal Shiga as long as his coven provides protection while he stays in their territory, and Dabi agrees.

Over the course of a week, Shiga stays in Izu's cottage with him as Izu slowly uses his magic to heal Shiga's wounds. Shiga spends the entire time obsessively taking in every detail of Izu's life, trying to figure out why he's on the run and how Shiga can make Izu join his coven and make him stay with Shiga forever.

Pretty please let me know which one of these story ideas you liked the most! My ADHD brain is really struggling with which one to go for, so I would really appreciate your opinion on these. 💚💚💚

To be honest, I’m neutral on jess & jason as individuals, and as a couple, only because it feels like a lot of anti-jesson fanatics are looking for deep information on their personal lives outside of the mainstream media. It just feels too stalkerish and a bit creepy to psychoanalyze these content creators like that.

HOWEVERRRR I do agree with them about the workplace abuse allegations that you can easily find on glassdoor AND also twitter documents about the blujay studios twitter drama back in 2017 when jesson decided to randomly let go their longtime friends / co workers for whatever reason. And it all seems like this crazy verbal & emotional abuse is always linked back to the ceo of cat face which also happens to be jason….hmmm interesting.

not only that the multiple incidents of lazy writing of east asian culture, the romanticization of toxic couple tropes, and playing into the horrible narrative that an abused child should just forgive their abusers just for the sake of family. There’s so many small things that just piled up to the hot dumpster fire that was caused by those two or the people they decided to have on their team.

I think the day jesson stop trying to overly self-insert themselves onto their characters, and allow them to be their own people is the day the world goes back to normal again. Mys! Aaron lore went south so quick once the ultima arc was revealed (I KNOW ITS BEEN HINTED SINCE PDH S1) and it kinda just felt like a lazy way to excuse whatever abuse derek and rachel put aaron through. I can ramble more about the lycan fam lore as someone who adores each family member, while also hating their development as characters —but that would just overlapped with my previous intention writing this confession.

Outside of the house Barracuda pulled something out from his pockets, upon revealing them to the guardian they were puzzled, They were egged shaped. "They are teleports I've been working on. Since you got this big quest from the Treeangles I thought it would be about time to give you theses."

Grabbing them from Barracuda's hands, putting them in her pocket so she would not forget them she asked. "What are we suppose to do with them?" Barracuda lit up at being able to tell what his invention was for. "I think it's about time we got a better transportation then using horses, or walking, But unfortunately You three will still have to activate them at each town you go too, just on the outskirts of it, and they all should be able to connect to one another." "Have you tested them out?" Lycan asked from the grass they were laying in, petting Barracuda's Pegasus, who has trapped the flower with it's head. "In small doses I have, But they work well enough longer distances shouldn't be a problem." "I trust Barracuda's inventions." Blixer stated but Cyan said sarcastically. "Oh ya because the 'Antidote' was such a good invention." Blixer looked back at him, making the child grin with glee. "You two stop being so mean to one another, we're about to be spending about a year together, and I'm not going to tolerate this behavior on our trip." "Oh so like a none wheeled skateboard that's so cool Baracuda." Cube said excitedly watching as the triangle man kicked it up into the air, seeing it compact back down into a cube, before landing it right back in his hand, before giving one to Cube, and then to Blixer who had walked forward, Cyan laying on the floor pouting.

"Ya Cuda you are amazing." Blixer said, pocketing his much like Cube. "I'm glad you do, you have a long journey ahead of you, though I do have one more think I want to confess, This is still a work in progress, But I do have another teleporter prototype I wanted to test out." But instead of celebrating in his head, Cube picked him up, bringing him over to do it secondly, it took 14 seconds like last time, and when the blinding light faded, Cyan looked out into the sea of buildings, the forest behind him, a mountain in the distance. Blixer was unfortunately there and still alive, looking out of the vast city, that was supposedly bursting with life, but now layed dormant, being reclaimed by nature. No wonder his friends didn't want him to recover there.

One last light blinded the both of them, signaling that Cube had finally joined them. They all looked out into the town. All wondering the same thing. 'Why were they called to Arow the city of the clockworth?'

Wow, I looked at the player content coming in the new Lancer module (Operation Winter Scar) and it's amazing.

Despite my grievances with my Gilgamesh overflow, I think its unique limited weapons are really clean and it's simplicity allows it to basically act as an Everest+. Also the legion nexus is amazing (I love summoning support bees after firing my big fuck off bee cannon).

In specific, Gilgamesh is a simple mech. It loves limited systems. It loves chewing through them for tasty tasty free accuracy. It also gets an extra limited charge. Again, Gilgamesh is just Everest+, having the ability to equip any limited system or weapon and go hog wild. Even more similar to Everest, its passive allows it to skirt around using its repair points on health or armor by allowing it to restore itself in a fight or do so for free in a rest.

I love the Lycan, the new Manticore alt frame, I think it provides a good risk and reward play style that works really, really well with a lich that can kind of just be ignored if desired (either by immediately popping armor off for a rushing fight or by choosing to stay tanky for the sake of self and other pilots). As a side note, I think players can really go nuts for flavoring their Lycan's transformation (I can already think of how cool a snake-esc Lycan peeling itself to reveal an arcing kraken).

Oh also its 3 speed while shelled means nothing when it can use Beckoner to swap with a target 8 spaces away.

hehe, we love a 3d6+6 (or 4d6+6 if you wait long enough) AP weapon with accurate and not heat cost so you can spam Executioner cleave attacks all willy nilly.

Amber Phantom, the new Metalmark alt, is also really cool because it adds a further strategic element to strikers by making its player focus on and manipulate turn orders for cheese. The ability to cause a double player turn allows for some real combo potential. Just imagine movement manipulation on the Amber Phantom like Beckoner or Feros Lash right before an ally uses an aoe attack against the sudden clump.

I thinks its a whee bit simple but has incentives for strategy so no mindless unga bunga. Definitely a good mech for someone who wants to mess with big braining lancer but can't be bothered to use a Lich properly or really intricate combos that controllers like Minotaur or Hydra are capable of at peak bullshit.

For the last alt frame, the Kutuzov, the reverse of my Gilgamesh situation. In April I thought of a funny: "hey what if I used Calendula to drop a Blinkshield on some fool and run away" Turns out that Intangible is included in BS's "any action or effect", who could have guessed. But that still gave me the idea of using Napoleon's systems on an Intangible mech so I made the Massena (will post eventually).

Regardless of the fact my players now have a fucked Napoleon license, the Kutuzov is an amazing mech that I couldn't criticize for existing. I personally think it is unfortunately just better than Napoleon. So how Kutuzov works is its a more of a support spin of Napoleon that trades raw defense for support capabilities. It also trades Napoleon's extremely funny but kinda weak core power into a less funny but good efficient core power that allows you to full protect a teammate from an enemy and vice versa. Unironically just the default frame if you want to maximize Napoleon's worth as a teammate without having to rely on a powerful gimmick once or twice a mission that really only works to make a enemy shoot your teammate instead of you.

In conclusion, YIPPEEEEEE MORE LANCER CONTENT. I'm so happy Lancer has basically free DLC oh and if you want to get the art for these mechs, y'all are literally on the website where you can go see the artist (be free and go to theogm-art)

Some of these have already been written up or are like partially finished, and I just don't know what people want to see if anything. I haven't been posting a lot for a few reasons and my last monster AU post didn't get much attention so I don't know if anyone is particularly interested. elaboration on each option as follows:

I've been steadily compiling a thorough dictionary-glossary of Monster AU-related terms which will be gradually added onto as I come to need more words to make my infodumps slightly more succint. Voting for that will push me to post it earlier in post form.

The narancia monster au profile is partially complete but I've been fussing with the ref pose for like a million hours trying to make it cool so it's just not... done

Monster AU memes as in I'll draw monster-au related funny memes or picture-redraws or fill out those funny charts or something

Lunar Power will be getting into the deep effect of the moon on magic (and why, in the monster au, moonlight does not share the same properties as sunlight despite being reflected sunlight), and will further explain moon-related concepts such as lunacy and moonsickness, which are moon-related afflictions suffered by monsters/cryptians

Seaciety will give a brief look into maricrypts in general, how their societies may look and different kinds of seafolk.

Lycanthropy will look into ... lycanthropy, or moreso zooanthropy as a whole, but I'm classifying it with lycanthropy because that's the most well-recognised kind. The first part will probably focus on Lycanthropy and explain the difference between lycans and werewolves and how a similar dichotomy is recognised in zooanthropes of other kinds.

Human Passing will elaborate on, just as it says, human-passing, or, in other words, the ability of cryptians to blend in with humans and live in human society. There are multiple kinds of disguise methods (natural passing, illusory passing, polymorphic passing, Glamour passing, manual passing) and this will describe the differences and maybe look a little into why they need to pass as humans.

Polymorphs (shapeshifters) and clothing!!! i dont fucking know how it works either but if you want to know i can try and figure it out!?!?!?! i guess????

Vigilantes of the Sea will explain sirens; different kinds of sirens, their sub-societal structures, their impact on seaciety and in particular their importance in human-damaged seacieties. may overlap with seacieties and or the bayfolk of napoli

Hybridisation fundamentals will give you baseline knowledge of cryptian hybrids and why they make my (bambi's) job as a cryptotaxonomist look stupid. Includes details on 'overruling hybrids' (zooanthropy mostly), giorno giovanna the most confusing motherfucker on planet earth, and chimerical hybrids (species that are their own separate individual species but the species is defined by appearing to have hybrid anatomy, such as sphinxes, minotaurs, etc.)

Form Decay is exactly as the name suggests: I explain what the fuck form decay is and how it plays a part in how the monster AU Vento Aureo is different in plot context from the canon AU Vento Aureo specifically in how it is or is not suffered by narancia

The Bayfolk of Napoli describes the specific (collapsing) seaciety that encompasses the seafolk in the Bay of Naples. Some overlap with the siren post and will give a lot of context to monster au Squalo's whole situation

I don’t think anyone understands just how much I want origin stories of everyone else in Mystreet like they all have really interesting backgrounds that are just tossed to the side of the main plot points (lol abt to be a really long threat again sorry)

Aaron- Didn’t actually get character lore OR a personality until S3 but like I want MORE because tbh I feel like his parents gave him a lot more trauma than what’s shown in the series, and even the stuff IN the actual seasons (the emotional neglect, his military schooling, the tense relationship w/Melissa etc;) are fixed and shoved off like no he might ACTUALLY need therapy bruh PLEASE

Katelyn- I think she was (?) in therapy in the beginning for her anger issues and the loss of her mother but like it was kind of forgotten about tbh. I think she needs more positive moments in the series honestly bc in the later seasons we’re shown she’s partially abusive towards Travis the first time they went out, and ends up being written off as prejudice towards werewolves bc of past experiences??? Naw the Katelyn I know would never do that. AND HER DREAMS OF WORKING IN THEATRE TOO HELLO??? Also, her mom quite literally used her in the Forever Potion experiments as a child?? I feel like that’s important to her character too :/

The Ro’meave Brothers- I don’t actually know where to start tbh because I feel like ALL THREE of them could use some kind of character depth aside from Dumb Blonde, Emo One, and the Forgotten One. Especially Vylad, probably having to witness this entire Lycan situation grow from an outsiders perspective with no contact from his family in forever. It’s shown that Zane is immensely interested in the family business too like hello??? Garroth himself is kind of just written off as a comedic effect most of the time, but he quite literally has no other goals (possibly because he KNOWS he’s going to inherit the business one day whether he cares to or not).

Laurance- He’s not really a character anymore, but from what we’ve actually SEEN in Mystreet he had enough development to become something outside of a potential love interest for Aphmau. He has a fondness for cooking and was seen to be EXCEPTIONAL at it, and I think he still carried an interest in baseball (or idk it was SOME sport asdfghjk the point is he was good). And he was also shown to still help out his family here and there (babysitting Caleb, his baby brother, in numerous episodes). Idk, I feel like there were so many pieces of Laurance that could’ve been explored and touched upon and we hardly got anything. Also… Garrance. Quite literally hate to be that person but it was literally the biggest piece of queerbaiting I’ve ever seen fr I wish it was explored as much as Aarmau was :( (willing to bet the popularity had something to do with what I call the ‘Heartstopper’ treatment but that’s just me tho)

Nana (KC)- The most under appreciated character in-universe I actually had to go and make a separate post about this LOLOL expect it in like five minutes from now bc I just save everything in my drafts.

Travis- Lol no surprise here but him too dude honestly I have no idea where to start with him atm, his entire family’s lore needs a full in depth analysis on themselves because Aphmau’s series just BARELY touches the surface of Travis’s character

Dante/Gene- Honestly BOTH of them were done so dirty I find it funny how no one ever talks abt it because they’re so beautiful to me. Gene already had his redemption arc so I can kind of see why they just tossed him aside but Dante literally had nothing tbh. He had a messy relationship with KC in PDH and then made that same mistake in LLP. Okay, cool, give us more of that. Let him learn from his mistakes and be self aware now. Or better yet let him grow without tossing love interests into the formula in order for it to happen!! Seems like his family life is pretty good though, worst thing abt him was the peanut allergy.

Lucinda- Queen actually has very little to no background that actually centers around her. We know she had a really bad relationship with Ivan but like I’m pretty sure that’s it.

Paradoxical has rewritten them *slightly*. It’s mentioned in Part 18 that a civil war is happening, while I don’t go into much detail about it in the story itself- the experiments (lycans, soldats, moroaica, etc) were driven to revolt by Heisenberg basically- so their scars come from points in that war.

K2 and I are writing the RE8 woman far in the future- when they’ve gone through redemption arcs and have reached a place of relatively stable mental, physical, and emotional health. Emphasis on “relatively”. So the original lore from the game is *mostly* followed (with the only difference being that Heisenberg was successful in raising his revolutionary army). That does mean Claudia and Bernadette were resurrected, details will be later in the story.

Now will they have the Cadou? Hm… we’ll just have to wait and see<3
