Okay... wow.. She... she's gone. Puppet is actually dead. Oh, my gosh. Not gonna lie. My heart aches for all these characters, Foxy lost his basically wife, F.C. lost his mom, and Eclipse... lost his friend... he called her his friend. Shame it was too late, though.

Mimic is trapped, Puppetmaster is dead, EKclipse is still out there, Broken!Bonnie is still out there, Foxy is gone, F.C., Puppet his... gone.

Puppet his still sort of here... kind of. It's Charlie/Charlotte from the Tsams universe. She died, and Puppet let Eclipse use her body to save Charlie's life... it.. it's a heartbreaking episode, especially at the end... THEY JUST HAD TO GIVE US ONE LAST "HEEEEY!" 😢

This episode was heartbreaking but amazing all at once, and I'm excited to see what they'll do next... Matt, we'll miss you, take care and God bless

Okay, I actually really like this. And I can say why.

"But Dana isn't it hypocritical to Like Lunar's 'villain arc' while disliking Nexus's?"

Not really. Because what Lunar is doing is consistent with his character. Which is, entirely selfish motivations as he has always had before, and I'll explain Lunar's motivations and why he makes a better compelling villain arc. And who knows, maybe Lunar will rush back and say he's sorry after one or two episodes when Nexus didn't.

But Nexus/N!Moon grieving over someone he loved, everyone assuming he's evil and them making a heel turn into 'irredeemable evil' I didn't like because it was contradictory to the past year we spent with N!Moon and unintentionally felt like it villainized grieving in an ugly way. And I've expressed the dislike of All of Nexus's worst fears coming true. He believes his family doesn't understand, they treat him like villain immediately. He thinks he's easily replaceable and not as talented as the Old Moon. Old Moon comes back, replaces him, is accepted immediately and was proven to be intellectually superior to N!Moon. He thinks he's broken that he's beyond repair and can't be fixed. Earth gave up on him really quickly despite being aware of his coping mechanisms (lashing out) (even before the "collateral damage" thing) Ruin lied and manipulated him and killed Solar. Nexus never wanted to be manipulated again.... D!Sun put the plans in place that he was the perfect pawn in an interdimensional sacrifice to get the outcome he wanted. Nexus wanted his family to join him and understand him. No one understood him and he died at the hands of his own brother.

Nexus died with all his worst fears and nightmares confirmed true. It's honestly tragic and horrible.

NOw.... Lunar. Getting into this little bean. Has a far more compelling reason to be corrupted by Negative star power. That is consistent with his character and just doesn't replace Lunar with... Lexus or something.

So Lunar was just told recently by Taurus and Gemini, that he has reached the precipice of his training and neither will train him anymore. With his mental block on his trauma and Eclipse and just apathetic to everything, he can't tap into his emotions or power. Understandably, Lunar is frustrated by this and feels no one is listening to him and feels his partner is being demeaning (they're not. And it's not about him. But Lunar is to selfish to get that.)

People often don't understand that Gemini does not try to be intentionally demeaning to Lunar. They do not have human emotions like we do, or even the animatronics do. They operate at a different level beyond our human comprehension, So I don't place Astrals into mortality boxes. And Lunar, is still a very childish and selfish character, and seems to not understand their partner. Even if they do like them a whole lot. They just don't understand them at a fundamental level. It's hard to have an emotional connection to someone who doesn't have human emotions, (or who is just starting to feel emotions in small doses but that's just a theory) and Lunar does not have the patience or emotional maturity to deal with someone who operates like that.

So Rez puts it out there for Lunar to get stronger then they are willing to train him and SO OF COURSE Lunar would jump at that because he feels infantilized and has felt that way by his partner for a long time. Keep it in mind, Gemini does not do this intentionally, and makes this clear to Lunar MANY TIMES over the entire course of the year they have been interacting.

Not to mention, Sun killing Nexus disturbed something across dimensions. It's as I said when Nexus first turned to the dark side. It's like all Moon's destiny is to inherently be doomed by ambition. Lunar included in that. Lunar following in Nexus's footsteps. Because those who don't know their history are doomed to repeat it. And Lunar is the prime example. And this is horrible. Maybe it's hypocritical of me to like Lunar's heel turn into a Sasuke arc. But this is on a path of destiny that needs to break. And that's why I think I find it a bit more compelling from a character motivation and writing stand point. So. Yes. Lunar abandoning his family when they need him. Horray!!!

I think I just like it because it is consistent with all of Lunar's characterization up to this point. And because he did not care or know what was going on with Nexus, he will get corrupted by the NSP too. Who knows, maybe Lunar will gain a new found sympathy for Nexus knowing how Dark Star Power fucks with your head and insecurities.

!! Tsams/Tlaes headcannons !!

Bc I'm bored 😃👍

○ The Astrals don't bleed

● If the Astrals ever blush, they glow brighter

○ The Astrals can regenerate their body parts if they ever get cut off

● Earth and Pollux have played dress up (with tea, snacks, makeup, and nail polish) once, and Castor walked in (yes, he was dragged to join in the little function, he lost a bit of dignity that day)

○ He may not seem like it, but Castor has developed a sweet tooth while his time on Earth (the planet), so has Pollux, but she's vocal about it

● The astrals don't have a reflection it's just light, flash bang 💥 (Lunar saw this with Gemini, and he couldn't see for a while)

○ Pollux has hello kitty heelys (I got this from someone else btw)

● Lunar is Castors first ever friend (They both got too attached)

○ Castor has abandonment issues (or detattachment issues, idk how to spell it🤷‍♀️)

● Solar drinks black coffee (the strong taste wakes him up)

○ Earth smells like lavender

● Earth and Lunar have a gift exchange every time something terrible happens (which is every single day 😭)

○ Lunars' love language is physical touch, gift giving, and words of affirmation (He has given gifts to Earth, Sun, Moon, Castor, Pollux, and Monty)

● The Astrals can express emotions they just don't know the word of said feelings, so they don't know how it feels and what word links to said emotion (so they think of themselves as expressionless beings)

○ Moon likes Earth cooking and baked treats (he can't get enough dawg 😭🙏)

● Nexus is going through his emo phase

○ Gemini (Castor and Pollux obv) are touch starved (they are a space being who hasn't gotten a hug for the years they've been alive for and are being revealed to touch the first time in their life and once they do they don't know what they're feeling or what it is, btw Lunar was the first one who hugged them)

● Lunar makes it his mission to spend more time with Pollux and Castor

○ Sun smelled like mangos and cherries at the beginning, but that started to fade now he smells like mangos, cleaning supplies, and cats

● Sun had a favorite kid in the daycare (after July 16th, they never showed up again. Wonder where they went!)

○ Dazzles real name was Delilah

● Whenever Jack sees someone eat pumpkin pie he holds himself

○ Castor has heard Lunar say his lovey dovey comments about Gemini, Pollux, and himself, now it's a daily occurrence to him (he glows a bit brighter every time this happens)

● Lunar has written love letters to Gemini, Pollux, and Castor. They're separated, and he writes what he likes about each and every one of them and his favorite moments with them. He doesn't give these to them he hides them away in the closet (Castor knows about them)

○Earth has a plushie collection (she takes care of them like as if they were her kids)

● Earth ice skates and is pretty damn good at it 👌

○ The Gemini twins like to look at Lunars eyes; Pollux is more vocal about while Castor just watches on the side lines, taking a peak once in a while

just finished Eaps EP: "Sun and Moon WANT TO HELP FIND EVELYN" I genuinely love and HATE The murder plot. I like that they're devolving while trying to find this murderer and found these kids dead bodies but I can't stand that these kids are being killed.

I don't have a ton of theories about the killer other then like...in most fnaf it's usually the human security guard....so it's probably Vincent....

Eclipse's scream when finding that one kid he desperately wanted to save was intense. I also was so sad when Puppet found Evelyn.

Entire thing heart wrenching.

LAES EP "Taurus' JUDGEMENT! in VRchat"

LMAO Taurus "You're an astral maybe..." Lunar "So you agree I'm an Astral." Taurus "Who said you're an Astral? You are a long way off becoming an Astral" Lunar "....I don't like him" Gemini seconds later - Steps on Lunar cause he was kneeling -

I think it is interesting how him being a product of fusion basically made him immune to the virus. It's really interesting but also later on I think he probably did just go actually insane. Them bringing the cure and stabbing him with it might have just rebooted his system and he was like "I don't have to act anymore." Ruin is so interesting man. I sometimes imagine he's got one of those mecha council situations where he can still actually hear Sun and Moon when he's extremely conflicted. Ruin also called himself Eclipse. What a guy. Nexus crippled poor grandpa someone needs to give him a cane.

Sams EP: "A plan for a DRAGON in VRchat" Goliath "Are you like them" Sun "....? I don't know what you mean by that...what???"

"I'm not really as smart as Moon or Solar is...I mean really..I mean Moon made this whole thing. So uhh-?"

Goliath "Are you as heartless....as desperate for this sort of.... attraction?" Sun "Wh-what?" Goliath "You might be pathetic, but you are so much more than them."

Ok what was Goliath SAYING?!?!? I turned on captions and I can parse that he legit said attraction. I'm so CONFUSED. In the entire context it felt like Goliath was trying to get Sun to understand something but he couldn't say it. He paused to gasp for breath . It gave vibes like he's trying to pick the right phrasing. He knows Sun isn't heartless but he asks if he's desperate. I noticed he still wants to call them family though, that's interesting to me....

I think Goliath is maybe referring to how he knows Sun feels sympathy towards him, so he's saying Sun is worth more because of that? Goliath you are so hard to read. Goliath sounds scared to fight the Wither Storm Dragon too, so maybe he just wants to know if Sun agrees with the plan? (which Sun doesn't agree)

Or maybe for Goliath it's literal? It's worth it to talk to Sun because he might call him family and may not just leave him to the wolves.

Not much to add for eps "Jack meet Molten" and "Dazzle meets Molten" besides its tooth rottingly sweet. Jack meeting Molten and his first instinct is to bring him to meet Dazzle is SO sweet. Dazzle seems like she still feels bad about getting Neptor caught.

I love the 'kids' hanging out. Wish FC could join them, he just got heaps of horrible trauma. Dazzle might be a cool friend for Andrew too. (I'm p sure the spirit with FC is Andrew?)

I did not realize they'd make Molten more childlike? It's so sweet to see something so scary turn out to be so innocent. On top of Dazzle just not being afraid at all of Molten. Even Jack was so chill.

It's great when kids aren't afraid at all.

OH and the LAES EP "Taurus TRAINS LUNAR in VRchat" lmao Lunar running around while being haggled. I feel like Taurus is the kind of guy who tries to get people mad to 'activate' their powers. Like he's trying to get Lunar to cut loose. It's how a lot of begrudging powerhouse teacher types are.

Not sure why Taurus is like "not sure why you're alive" Taurus is so funny he's like. "You are tiny." Lunar "Yes I am." Taurus "Who said you're tiny?" Lunar "...???" Taurus "I'm going to kill you in training" Lunar - gets scared and runs around- Taurus -chases him but doesn't attack at all- Taurus later "That was a good run. but you suck at running." Lunar "....???"

Taurus "Blow up a mountain" Lunar -rambles about the heat that rocks need to burn- Taurus "I do not like this robot speak."

EAPS EP "Eclipse TRACKS DOWN HENRY EMILY!" Vincent just finding Eclipse like "Bro, dude...what are you doing here???"

It's interesting Vincent is devolving into accusing everyone around him but honestly understandable he doesn't have anything to go off. I hope they stop the killer before another kid dies. This is messed up man. I like how Eclipse always talks about how he's Moon this, Moon that. But also still shares values from Sun and genuinely wanted to save the kid's Sun loved in the daycare. It's nice to see Eclipse's Sun side show. Because he was built in Sun's head. Puppet seems messed up about a lot, calling herself useless. It's pretty messed up.

Just some things I'm noticing while getting caught up!

The astrals kinda remind me of a cult fr. Like, fear mongering people not stepping out of line (literally threatening to kill people over star power), claiming to be divine in some way (they kinda ARE divine, but still), claiming to know forbidden knowledge which is only known by those worthy enough (Lunar doesn't get anything explained to him until he's better with his powers), they really are like a cult. And I don't think it's on purpose, because obviously they only want what's right for the universe and might not realize what they're doing, but Lunar basically joined a cult.

Even in the very first episode with Castor and Pollux, when Castor talks to Earth he tries to separate her and Lunar so Lunar will be easier to teach, which is the most culty thing I think I've ever fucking heard. If you need to be cut off from your family to learn something, NOT WORTH IT. It's different with Lunar since he actually DOES have supernatural powers, but still. Jeez.

Y/N’s POV:

Today was gonna be a pain in the ass day. Marcus was back from his month of suspension which was not good for me or my astral boys. But luckily for me is that Marcus and his crew were stripped from experimenting on the astral's as Simone was now the one taking over it with his small crew.

Marcus was not happy about it nor the fact that his right hand man Anna was no longer with us as well. Making my way to my office to do some paperwork. I looked to see Marcus watching me with dagger looking eyes.

Ignoring the fact that Marcus was giving the death glare. I walked into my office and went over to take a seat in my chair as I turned to my computer. As I was about to start doing my work, my door slammed open as a furious Marcus came into my office. "What do you want Marcus, should you be doing your new assignment" I sarcastically mentioned to Marcus since he was told that he and his team were gonna be doing tests on plants or something along that line. "You think you're so lucky because my men and I can't touch your stupid astral freaks. Well listen here you pathetic excuses of a person, I will have my ways to get what I want and you will not get in the way of it" Marcus growled as he got into my face and gripped the collar of my shirt.

"Get your hands off of me" 

I gripped his wrist and glared at him roughly. I didn't like when this crazy guy kept grabbing me and threatening me. "Or what, your astral freaks can't protect now" Marcus grinned as he tightened his grip on me and I was getting tired of it real quickly. "I don't need them to protect me outside of their chambers" I said, gripping Marcus' wrist tight enough to loosen his hold on my shirt. As much as I wanted to break this annoying guy's hand so badly. I couldn’t because I needed him to be here so I could find Lunar and rescue him. “Let this be a warning Marcus, you already got suspended once for your action. I’ll make sure you will be suspended if not fired so I would watch what you say or do” I said annoyed before shoving his hand away from me as Marcus cussed me out and left my office. Sighing as I sat back down in my chair, I looked at my computer to see if I should work on the reports or head to the guys chambers to do my usual routes with them.

“Help me…”

“What the?!” Jumping in surprise, I heard a voice suddenly. I looked around to see if anyone was in the room with me but I saw no one around. “What was…help me..Please…” I heard the voice again as my head started to hurt badly causing me to clutch it. I groaned at the sudden pain as I heard the voice pleading for help again and again as sudden images started to appear in my vision. It happened all so far but I caught a glimpse of a few where Marcus was moving a shelf that looks like the supply room.

Again another few images came as I saw a lighter very of Moon was in an experiment tube. Soon everything stopped as I felt the pain lifted a little bit. “Lunar…was that you showing me these visions” I mutter to myself as I sigh when the pain fully leaves my head. Before I knew it, I heard a knock on my door as I looked to see Simone at the door. “Do you need something Simone?” It has been a little while since Simone came to me after the director assigned him and his crew to observe my astral boys.

“Well the crew and I would like for you to join us to go see the subjects since they are a lot more comfortable around you” Simone said as I looked at the time. I then got up and walked over to Simone and nodded my head. “I’ll have extra work to do later here so why not” I said as I followed Simone out of my office as I locked it and headed to my boys chambers with Simone and his crew.

“Why did you want me to join you and your crew?” I wondered since Normal Simone and his crew would just be fine without me being there. When we got to the front of the main chamber room door. Simone turned to me and handed me a clip board as I looked to see what was on it.

“We’re being requested to draw some blood from them and after the few times Marcus have tried through violence, I would rather you be there in case something happens and you need to calm them down” Simone explained as I looked at his crew to see how worried they were for being even assigned to this job. I sighed softly since I can feel that this will go badly because of Marcus causing all the unnecessary incidents before. “If need be then let me try drawing  their blood if they don’t let you guys do it alright” Simone and his crew nodded their heads quicker than anything before we all headed inside.

Once we got inside and Simone went over and opened the guys chambers. I watched as Sun, Moon and Eclipse came out of their room. I saw their bodies tense at first cause they saw all the scientists but then relaxed when the three of them saw me in the group. “Comet, what is going on here?” Moon asked me while I moved away from the group and walked over to them. “Simone and his crew are being requested to draw some of your guys blood” I calmly spoke as all three of them got down to my level.

All of them started to growl or hiss at first but I quickly calmed them down. “Easy boys, Simone and his crew are not like Marcus and his goons. Look they don’t have anything that will harm you three” The three looked at Simone and his small crew. And I was wrong about them not having anything that would harm the boys, just syringes and a few small text tubes and that was it. Sunny held onto Moon as he was unsure if my words were true, Moon stared while keeping sunny close by and Eclipse glared at the group as he waited for any sign of threat from them. I couldn’t do much except hope for the guys to believe me as Sunny grabbed me by my waist.

“You sure about them sunstar, what if they're like Marcus and his crew” Sun spoke softly as he looked at me with confused yet unsure eyes.

“If they were like him and his crew, I’ll have to make sure to kick them out and take whatever punishment you three me for my mistakes okay” I lightly caressed sunny’s cheek as he purred softly at the light affection. I did the same with Moon and Eclipse as we all waited for their answer. When the three looked at each other then back to all of us, Eclipse then nodded his head as if it was his way to say that they are allowed.

“No funny moves or you all will be our next victims” Moon said with a warning as I sighed in relief along with Simone and the others as they carefully drew the astral boy's blood. Once Simone and the crew got what they needed, Simone thanked me before they all left. “Hopefully they don’t need to do that anymore” I said while I turned to the boys and saw them looking at me.

“You all did so good, I’m proud of you three” I smiled softly as I gestured to them to get to my level so I can reward them. Sunny, Moonie and Clipsy smiled as they lowered themself down and I gave them all a kiss. “You were here with us Comet, of course we wanted to be good for you” Eclipse said as he brought my hand in his and placed a kiss on it. Sunny and Moonie both placed a kiss on my cheeks cause me to chuckle softly at the three affection. “You guys are something” Chuckling softly, I suddenly stopped before I sighed softly which caused the three to look at me concerned.

“Is there something the matter sunstar?”

I shook my head. I wasn’t sure if it was the right time to tell them the truth. But seeing how the three were concerned about me. I took a seat in front of them as they got down to the floor where they were at my level. “Before Simone and his crew came to me, I heard a voice” This had the boys' attention as they looked at each other. “What kind of voice comet?” Moon asked and I looked at each of them carefully. “An innocent voice that was calling out for help..then I suddenly got vision after the voice appeared” I rubbed my head as I could recall the pain it gave me when I saw that vision. “Vision? A vision of what comet?”

I sat up straight as I looked at them seriously. This was gonna be either good or bad news for them but it had to be said.

“A vision of where Lunar could be..”

Hey, when you say that the twin don’t form Gemini willingly, what does that mean? Can the other astrals force them to join together or something?

The astrals can't pick up the twins and physically force their "physical" bodies to fuse into Gemini, but There are times when the other astrals (Usually Leo or Taurus) would threaten the twins into forming Gemini. Why? Because Taurus knows it makes them uncomfortable to be forced to do something they want no part of anymore.-

-The twins only do it when their minor job of watching Lunar gets threatened to be taken away and given to Aquarius, Aries, or even Sagittarius. Pollux is the twin who gets quite upset with the idea, hence why Gemini's appearance is more Castor based in this au than a mix of the two. Pollux gives Castor full control so she can stew in her frustration-

Upon reaching the crashed Nautiloid's center, you find a woman standing above the surviving mind flayer. However, before you can say anything, the creature is set on fire. The illithid's screams echo in your head through the tadpole's presence but it silence down with a moment.

When you meet the woman's eyes, you notice they shine in gold. Your tadpole is ringing in your head, showing you images of cold-hearted destruction, you feel nothing as you can see the strike against the mind flayer. You see several people die in front of you, but you have no desire to help them.

You feel powerful, you feel hollow.

Your head hurts, you must stop reading her mind, you must stop, you must not be consumed, you must step away—

Your pain stops. You can breathe. She smiles at you...

Journal On Penacony • The Sound and the Fury (Page 1/7)

Finished the 2.0 Penacony main story a while ago, and I'm now rewatching the cutscenes from a streamer's VOD. This is meant to be more like a very public journal with some speculations, not a comprehensive summary. Bullet-pointed notes for myself, with key points in bold, and of course, spoilers. I will not warn you twice.

Side note: I alternate with pronouns between the player(s), The Trailblazer, and Stelle. Take it or leave it.

The Sound and the Fury, which is the name of this Trailblaze Mission chapter, is a reference to a novel by the American author William Faulkner. I haven't read it, but I've heard that there are a number of parallels between Penacony and some motifs in the novel.

Pom-Pom introduces us to memoria, and we get a throwaway comment about the Memory Zone. The Memory Zone sounds like something related to Fuli and the Remembrance, and the Forgotten Hall/Memory of Chaos...

The Trailblaze and the Star Rail are what connected Penacony to the rest of the universe; and with the Express leaving Penacony, three Trailblazers stayed behind on the prison turned hotel. They were Tiernan (the guard), Legwork (the mechanic), and Razalina (the surveyor).

Some people have theorized that Misha might be the grandson or a descendent of one of these Trailblazers, and I'm inclined to agree. Of the three, he would likely be related to Legwork, as he's described as being "skilled at fixing a variety of machines" (Character Details).

Interastral Peace Broadcast update! I highly recommend listening to these for anyone who likes worldbuilding, just treat it like in-game current events. Most of what they said here isn't directly relevant to the main story, but the collaboration between the IPC and the Garden of Recollection is particularly interesting... I wonder what's happened since the events of Gold and Gears?

Also, Emperor Rubert I lore! I expect it to more relevant as we continue to get involved with members of Genius Society... I'm looking at you, Polka.

Dan Heng chooses to stay on the Express—totally understandable. Bro gotta celebrate Lunar New Year. And you know, we need someone to stay watch on the Express. He'll come find us eventually, he shows up in White Night after all.

It also doesn't help that Dan Heng took center stage for the Luofu and now there's not much mystery to him anymore. His story isn't complete per say, but all that's left to explore for him is the time between him leaving the Luofu and joining the Express, and the future. It'll probably be the backseat on lore for him until we head back to the Luofu.

Okay, the cutscene before the jump? Every time before we jump, there's a focus on the chessboard. According to this lovely reddit post, it's from a game that ended in a tie—and I think it's a direct reference to Jingliu's line, "This is a chess game between Aeons." Stelle, then, might be the black rook, because that's the piece we get a zoom-in on; though it's also possible she's a pawn, or not even on the board at all. Or the piece is the Astral Express (faction)? Questions, questions...

It also doesn't really matter how the game ends, because (1) when the Universe reaches its end everything will restart anyways and (2) the rules can be broken and new pieces can appear out of nowhere. Aeons don't have to play by normal rules (see: Mythus).

Flash: Acheron (moving backwards), Firefly, Robin, Acheron again (still moving backwards but closer to Stelle this time). This isn't the first time we've glimpsed into a/the future; the other time it happened was when we protected March from the Doomsday Beast on Herta Space Station.

The implications for seeing into the future seem pretty fucking big, but as it stands, I'm not sure how relevant that is right now. It's about the journey, not the destination; what matters isn't how the Universe ends, but what we do until we reach that point.

Blink and we're in the Dreamscape version of what becomes our guest room. No clue how we got there or if we're even really there.* (I'll expand on this in a bit.)

Acheron sighs, then says, "Not another one...." The other person she's talking about might be Black Swan...? I don't think it could be anyone else. She barely knows anyone else, even.

She also tells us we'll forget everything when we wake up, which is bull fucking shit when you see some of the dialogue options.

Okay, this might go pretty fucking meta (any ORV fans?), but Acheron's ability hear our "thoughts" might be similar to how we read the text stating the character's voicelines. Or to put in ORV terms, it's kind of like Kim Dokja reading the Wall. And HSR does go meta on character dialogue, they've given color to select words (e.g. Kafka's golden text, Acheron's red text), and alternative readings to other words.

*It doesn't make much sense to see the other characters in the dreamscape when this dream isn't being shared with them, and they're all people that (assuming we haven't arrived on Penacony yet), neither Acheron nor Stelle should know who they are -> they shouldn't appear in her dreamscape. Like, you don't just imagine whole ass people. Acheron calls them shadows, but they're all memories of conversations that have happened.

I saw a theory (no clue who said it, I think I read it first in a Reddit comment, but I thought it was interesting) that we've rewinded time on Penacony, and Acheron seems to be somewhat aware of this. In the first iteration, Duke Inferno may have successfully destroyed Penacony. In the second, Duke Inferno is slain by Acheron before that can happen, but the Memory Zone boss might've fucked us over. We'd be on the third iteration, then, and Acheron allowed the Memory Zone boss to kill Firefly. There's not much merit to this to be honest beyond some wacky voicelines, but I still think it's worth lingering on.

To be in the Memory Zone like this, I feel like it would imply that this is a memory, and these events would've had to have happened in the linear past. Acheron told us this is Penacony's "welcome", but I don't think that's the case. There's some time fuckery going on for sure.

The doors that lead us to meeting Misha are different than the other doors we saw, and lack the lock-like motif.

Acheron makes no acknowledgement of Misha. Keep this in mind, okay?

"...have we met somewhere before?" Yeah, maybe in another branch of time. None of the dialogue options are absolute an yes/no answer. (Or maybe before Stelle was "born" on Herta Space Station, but I doubt that a little. If that was the case, I think the Stellaron Hunters would be more aware of Acheron.)

If you play Stelle, the red text says "she stood shoulder to shoulder with me", and if you play Caelus, it says "he crossed blades with me". The former is a reference to her Nameless friend Frebass, mentioned in the new relic set Pioneer Diver of Dead Waters. Not sure about the other guy. These could also be taken as parallels to HI3 between Mei and Kiana/Kevin.

Her red text questions are so fucking wack, y'all. Inception reference: Would you wish to stay in the dream world? Elio/player meta: Would you wish to keep going, even if you knew how this story/game would/might end? Fourth wall break meta: Do you remember her?

Anyways, she does seem to be able to notice the different branches of time from different dialogue options; "countless versions of you[...] gave entirely different responses".

She tells us "in that monochrome world, there will be a glimpse of fleeting red, and when you make a choice, it will reappear before you once more..." The red, from what we can tell so far, is her red text. What we hear seems to change based on the choices/dialogue options we selected. If that's the red, then the monochrome world would be... the text you're reading? This really does remind me of ORV.

Then she kills Stelle. Well, not really. Death in a dream is one way to wake up from the dream in Inception, so that's Acheron's way of waking her up, huh.

Acheron looks like she's crying blood-tainted tears. And her eye looks kind of like the void in White Night, too...

Okay, Stelle goes with March to the front desk, and we remember meeting Misha. So what's that all about? We didn't forget jack shit.

March calls out to us, and she doesn't make any acknowledgement of Misha, which is out of character for her. If she saw we were chatting up a new friend, I get the impression she'd try to introduce herself. But she doesn't. Isn't that interesting?

First off, I love whenever Earth and Monty interact! I love them and their relationship so much!

Now on to the real thing!

Earth AND Lunar both might be leaving!

Monty suggested that if things are getting too crazy for Earth, they could leave this universe and go somewhere else to another dimension, which Earth of course shot down that idea, but it is still an option.

And Lunar is seemingly considering leaving the planet and joining the Astrals (Don't do it, Lun!)

So, now it seems both Lunar AND Earth are both considering leaving the whole planet/dimension. I don't want either of them to leave... but.. it would be interesting to see the Lunar and Earth show with Lunar and Earth in completely separate places!

I don't want them to leave or just abandon each other like that... but after everything... it might be the best option.

My own TSAMS/TLAES Oc: Buggi!

I saw some people post their own tsams ocs, so I decided "ay why not join?"

Buggi

Buggi is an advanced ai that works for the Astrals (Pollux has mentioned they use some tools/mechanisms in their work, so Buggi is one of them). She stores and collects information she is given and finds. How she finds her information is by these little trinkets called "hologram disks." She can put them anywhere, and she'll be able to listen and see whatever is going on in the place. Another way on finding information is just hacking into other systems (like the satellites she sees orbiting Earth, she totally hasn't hacked them and has seen everything. What are you talking about? 🥴)

Background

Her background is anonymous. Nobody knows her origins or how she was even created in the first place. She just spawned in their eyes (astrals).

Location

She is usually found on a floating rock in space with her little computer room riding along with the rock. But remember, she is on a floating rock in space. You can remember her rock being near Jupiter, but all of a sudden, you'll see it near Mercury! She never stops moving. Well, that rock certainly doesn't.

Just Little Details/Facts

💠 She can always switch up her design to hair, gender, clothing, etc (like spider-byte :D)

🖥 She was originally from another tsams au (astral! Lunar), but I decided why not in the main universe, so now she's a tsams oc!

💠 Building off of the last fact, in the original au, she would be a Lunar kisser (mostly simp)

🖥 In this one, she is still a Lunar Kisser (she saw Lunar and thought, "Cute, now give me him.") but now that Lumini is canon, she has brought her feelings back (she is heartbroken 🥲)

💠 She's bubbly but is serious when she has to be

🖥 At first I was gonna make her toxic and still go after Lunar even after he got into a relationship with Gemini but I didn't like that bc I rather let her have a moral code (also cuz she'd be a home wreker and I don't want that :|)

Not-so-long-long-ago in a discord server not-so-far-away I witnessed a question.

As a space nerd and aspiring anthropologist I just couldn't ignore the question of constellations around the world. Guys, gals, and non-binary pals this is a special episode of the otome history notebook where we cover a more scientific/cultural/history note as opposed to straight up history, so buckle your seatbelts and get ready to read about a most interesting topic: how people view the stars above.

If you were to stand on the North Pole exactly and look up at the stars, you'd see a portion of the sky rotating around a point directly above you. You'd never see the sky someone standing on exactly the South Pole would, although the sky you would see would also be rotating around a point on the pole.

The parts of the sky we can see change as you move down Earth's longitudes, so although there'd be some overlap in say, the sky you'd see in Chile vs the sky you'd see in Arizona, they would certainly be different. Along latitudes, however, you'd be able to see the same sky as someone else along that latitude would see at a different point in Earth's rotation (which is to say, a different time of the year).

Although there are differences along longitudes in what part of the sky we view, there's overlap. And of course, along longitudes people see the same part of the sky at different times of year. This should mean that a lot of different places can see the same constellations as you do, right? Wrong.

Different cultures have been able to look at the same star for millions of years, yet through storytelling connect that star to those around it in such different ways. Take Betelgeuse for example; in my home country of Canada the settlers brought stories of Orion, but the Inuit and Ojibwe peoples saw something entirely different when looking at that same general clump of stars. So did the Egyptians, so did the Chinese, and the Tupi.

If you take a closer look at this diagram you'll see a little bubble labeled "Japanese moon stations". Hold up, does Japan have different constellations? Well, not in the modern day. Western constellations have become pretty standard worldwide, but in pre-Meiji era Japan there were indeed different constellations.

Before the Meiji era, astronomical observations were mainly for astrological purposes. These "astrological purposes" are the 28 lunar stations/lodges/mansions Japan derived from Chinese astrology. To be fair, China derived it's 28 lunar stations from Middle Eastern and Hindu astrology where they are Also A Thing. It just kinda became a big domino line across all of Asia that said "You know what we should do? Base our astrological divinations off of the lunar cycle".

The lunar mansions are divided up into four clusters, each made up of seven constellations. They're divided into four clusters because of the four cardinal directions. In China the four cardinal directions are associated with the Chinese emblems. The Chinese embelems are the tortoise for the north, the white tiger for the west, the phoenix for the south, and the dragon for the east.

However in Japanese astrology they're replaced with Four Heavenly Kings of Buddhism (or Shitenno, 四天王) that also guard the four cardinal directions.

The 28 lodges themselves, are often represented in the astral mandalas of the Big Dipper Mandala (Hokuto Mandara, 北斗曼荼羅) and the Star Mandala (Hoshi Mandara, 星曼荼羅). These mandalas are associated with Japan's Esoteric Buddhist sect. When Chinese astrological lore was first introduced in Japan the Shingon and Tendai schools of the Esoteric sect were the most receptive.

I won't go into the Japanese names of the constellations, because apparently they can differ and I can't find a source that definitively matches names to the actual constellations as a visual at the moment. Maybe I'll make a follow-up post? Who knows.

In the meantime, you can rest easy knowing that this was how the people of the Sengoku era told their stories of the stars.🌠
