The Golden Rule, Breed Golden Character.

 Living a meaningful and encouraging life that attracts others into the kingdom, we must treat others as we like to be treated. Though it sounds simple enough not to believe. However, with the help of the holy spirit, we will discover that being kind, showing compassion, offering forgiveness, practicing patience, and treating others with respect will become part of the character. Only with God’s help and by His love shining through us can we live in this Golden Rule each day. Luke 6:31 Do to others as you would have them do to you. Or Treat people around you as you would like to be treated! Life is so much more easier if you understand someone's feels rather then to not! There is a person still alive today who abused me. Perhaps you have experienced the same trauma. Perhaps you are locked in hatred for your enemy- because that is surely what they are. It took a long time for me to surrender to Jesus' commands on how to treat the predator that stole me from me. But there is power and healing in those commands to pray for our enemies. Christ has used those prayers to restore so much to me. IF SOMETHING HAS BEEN STOLEN FROM YOU CHRIST CAN TAKE IT BACK. All I know is that once I started yielding to praying for the pedophile that assaulted me, my healing went to the next level, and then the next and the next. Chains were broken, and I began to be changed into looking more and more like Christ... which is my deepest desire. Christ saw it all. He will repay. Start small. Be honest. Be angry. Be devastated. Forgive. Forgive again. Be merciful. But most of all be obedient. Use these verses to guide you. #luke6 Love for Enemies 27 “But to you who are listening I say: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, 28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you.... 31 Do to others as you would have them do unto you. 32 “If you love those who love you, what credit is that to you?
