Radhika Madan, Diana Penty, Sunny Kaushal And Mohit Raina Starrer Shiddat To Start Shooting From September

Dinesh Vijan has announced about his home production now which will come with the title Shiddat. It is expected to be a love story with Diana Penty, Radhika Madan, Mohit Raina and Sunny Kaushal. As a producer, Dinesh Vijan has given a series of hits in the last couple of years with Hindi Medium, Luka Chuppi and Stree. Now, he will be giving us a love story named Shiddat: Jouney Beyond Love.

Through a statement, Dinesh Vijan has said “In our day and age where love is taken so lightly, it’s difficult to imagine the lengths people would go to for it. ‘Shiddat’ is a not only a story about love but the distance one travels for it. The passion that overcomes maybe all senses or logic to do things that you wouldn’t usually imagine, the belief in something with all your heart and the drive to achieve it – that’s ‘Shiddat’”

According to the reports, Sunny Kaushal has been paired with Radhika Madan for the movie whereas Mohit Raina and Diana Penty will be seen together. Kunal Deshmukh will be directing the movie on the occasion. Shooting of Shiddat is expected to start from the month of September. For the story, credits must be given to Dheeraj Rattan and Sridhar Raghavan. Dialogue of the movie is written by Rattan. Shooting of the movie will be done in the places like London, Paris and Punjab.

Right now, Radhika Madan is shooting for the sequel of Hindi Medium with Irrfan Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan which will come with the title Angreezi Medium. Incidentally, Angreezi Medium is also produced by Dinesh Vijan.

KRITI SANON

Kriti Sanon (born 27 July 1990) is a Bollywood Diva, an Indian actress who appears predominantly in Hindi films. She pursued an engineering degree from the Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, after which she briefly worked as a model. After making her debut in Telugu cinema with the psychological thriller 1:Nenokkadine (2014), Kriti won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut for her performance in Sabbir Khan’s action comedy Heropanti (2014), which marked her first Bollywood release.

She has since starred in the commercially successful action comedy Dilwale (2015), which ranks as her highest-grossing release, the romantic comedies Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017) and Luka Chuppi (2019), and the comedy Housefull 4 (2019). Q. What’s the real Kriti Sanon like?

Kriti- Oh. Well (pause) I’m a simple girl from a middle-class background. I’m not someone who fakes it. You won’t hear me talking in a fake accent or being all hoity toity. The toughest thing is to fake it throughout the day, every day. I like being real and talking to people who’re real. I’m sensitive but not too emotional. I can’t judge people correctly. Effort and gestures matter more than materialistic things. I love spending time with my people and close friends at home rather than party and do small talk. I enjoy a good conversation with good people.

Hi. Kriti, do tell us about your background before everyone came to know you as a filmstar ?

Kriti- I am originally from Delhi, now settled in Mumbai. My dad, Mr. Rahul Sanon, is a Chartered Accountant and mom Mrs. Geeta Sanon, is a professor at the University of Delhi. We are Punjabi. Everybody knows that I have a younger sister Nupur, who lives with me here. I schooled from Delhi Public School, RK Puram and later secured Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Noida

Q. Do tell us about your association with the Film industry till now?

Kriti — I made my acting debut in 2014 with Sukumar’s Telugu film 1: Nenokkadine, a psychological thriller, in which I played the role of Sameera, a journalist who is also the love interest of Mahesh Babu’s character. Later that year, I got a chance to make my Hindi film debut, opposite Tiger Shroff, in Sabbir Khan’s action romance Heropanti. It emerged as a commercial success. Later I won the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut for this film.

Then I did a Telugu film release with Sudheer Varma’s Dohchay, a crime film co-starring Naga Chaitanya followed by Rohit Shetty’s action-comedy Dilwale, in which I starred alongside Varun Dhawan, Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol.

Then I starred alongside Sushant Singh Rajput in Dinesh Vijan’s directorial debut Raabta, which tells the story of star-crossed lovers who are reincarnated. My next release, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s romantic comedy Bareilly Ki Barfi, was a super hit. Last year I starred opposite Kartik Aaryan in Luka Chuppi, a romantic comedy about a couple in a live-in relationship. Commercially, it proved to be a success. My next two releases of the year were the comedies Arjun Patiala and Housefull 4. The latter emerged as a commercial success despite receiving unfavourable reviews. My last film before lockdown happened was Ashutosh Gowariker’s period drama Panipat, based on the Third Battle of Panipat.

Q: Which of your films has benefitted you the most?

Kriti- “Heropanti” was a film that was designed to launch two newcomers — Tiger Shroff and me. It did well. But for someone like me who did not come from a film family, it was “Dilwale” that gave me a huge reach. It was so much fun that it did not feel like work at all, and because it had Shah Rukh (Khan)-sir, Kajol ma’am, Varun Dhawan and Rohit (Shetty)-sir as Director, my audience reach increased hugely. Today, children still love my songs in the film and come and show me my steps.

Q: How do you choose a script now?

Kriti: I have always been instinctive about scripts. I like what the aam janta (masses) would, and I ask myself if I would want to watch this film. We give at least three months to a film, so I should enjoy working on it and wake up with excitement every day. My character comes next, and it is not about how different my character is, but about how important it is for the film.

Q: How would you compare your heroes till now?

Kriti: All are very hardworking and great actors. Tiger and I both have a hunger for improving and Tiger is very disciplined, whether at work or about his workouts. Varun is spontaneous, and always wants to do better until he gets it right. Sushant is very methodical and thus very inspiring. And Akshay sir is by far the best. He is a seasoned actor.

Q. There are reports of you doing a film based on surrogacy ?

Yes, it’s an exciting project with Maddock Films, yet untitled. It’s an entertaining story with its heart in the right place. It’s going to be directed by my Luka Chuppi director, Laxman Utekar. I share a great bond with him. It was an idea initially, which has shaped into a script, better than I expected. Laxman sir has the knack of presenting an emotional subject in an entertaining manner. This will be the first film, which will ride on my shoulders as the protagonist is a girl. It’s challenging. I’m nervous about it. Shooting will start later this year, once this Covid 19 issue gets over.

Q. You still model too and endorse brands?

Kriti- Yes, of course. I endorse for several brands and products. These include Titan Watches’ Raga Collection, Parachute, UrbanClap, among others. I also promote my

own clothing line, labelled ‘Ms. Taken’.

Q: Your sister is also exploring singing and acting now.

Kriti: Yes, she was always passionate about singing, and has taken three or four years of classical training. I told her to keep all doors open.

Q: Unlike most young actresses of today, you have never sung in a film?

Kriti: Yeah (Laughs)That is because I am not trained. I would like to be first trained, and then sing

Q. Your biggest inspiration?

Kriti- My Mom and Dad.

Q. What’s next then?

Kriti- There’s one script which I have said yes to, which I would only want the producers to announce. It’s a thriller. There are two other scripts that I have liked. There are other things to be put together — as to how and when it happens — which needs to be figured out. So it’s all up in the air for now.

When did you sign your first autograph?

Kriti- My first autograph (pause and thinks). Thats an interesting question. I think while shooting my first film Heropanti..on the sets.

Any special message to your fans?

After Filmfare carried the breaking information about her subsequent film being based on surrogacy the day gone by, Kriti Sanon introduced the first poster of the film to the target market as of late. The Luka Chuppi actress shared the first glance of Mimi on her Twitter take care of and wrote, “Life is a journey filled with unexpected miracles. Get ready for a journey like never before, #Mimi !! This one’s gonna be soooo special… #DineshVijan @Laxman10072 @TripathiiPankaj @MaddockFilms @JioCinema” Based on Marathi film, Mala Aai Vhhaychy, which received the National Award for Best Feature Film in Marathi in 2011, Mimi will likely be directed via Laxman Utekar and produced via Dinesh Vijan.

The film offers with the rising follow of surrogacy in India. Kriti will likely be reuniting no longer most effective with her Luka Chuppi director, Laxman Uteka, but additionally with actor Pankaj Tripathi for the mission. After Bareilly Ki Barfi and Luka Chuppi, Mimi will likely be their 3rd collaboration. Producer Dinesh Vijan mentioned in a commentary, “There’s a thrill in telling poignant stories and then there’s a thrill in telling ones that are based on true events. Mimi is one such tale. It’s a story that struck a chord with me, it explores a beautiful relationship between a woman, who never wanted to be a mother and the one who can’t wait to be one. What’s unexpected about the story is the humorous vein that runs through and that’s what makes Mimi exciting.”

Talking about the film, Kriti advised Filmfare in an unique chat, “It’s not preachy at all. It’ll make you think. This will be the first film, which will ride on my shoulders as the protagonist is a girl. It’s challenging. I’m nervous about it.” Talking about taking part in a mom on the large display for the first time, Kriti additional added, “It’s an emotion I obviously don’t understand. You cannot understand motherhood unless you become a mother. It’s about a young character and her journey. It’s a new territory for me. I wanted to do something, which is relevant, something which is away from me as a person. And this is all of that. I’ll be starting this film towards the end of the year.”

Arjun Patiala actress Kriti Sanon wants to shoot a film with a great script abroad

Actress Kriti Sanon is currently busy gearing up for her next release Arjun Patiala, alongside Diljit Dosanjh and Varun Sharma. She will be seen playing the role of a small-town crime journalist named Ritu Randhawa while Diljit will be essaying the titular character, a quirky cop. The romantic spoof comedy directed by Rohit Jugraj and co-produced by Bhushan Kumar and Dinesh Vijan under T-Series and Maddock Films is all set to release on 26 July.

Kriti began her career in Bollywood with Heropanti opposite Tiger Shroff and went on to work in films like Dilwale and Raabta. It was with the 2017 hit Bareilly Ki Barfi that Kriti made headlines and left the audience impressed with her portrayal of a small-town girl named Bitti. According to reports, she was flooded with offers for small-town roles post the release of the film. The actress was last seen on the big screen in Luka Chuppi, alongside Kartik Aaryan, as a TV reporter in a local Mathura channel.

In a recent interview, Kriti opened up about her desire to do glamourous roles. She shared, “I recently told someone, ‘Yaar, main shooting ke liye kaafi time se baahar nahi gayi hoon, I am doing the rounds of Lucknow, Gwalior, Mathura, and Chandigarh. I would love to shoot a film with a great script abroad, in which I get to wear hot pants and look glamourous. That’s not happened in a while for me.”

Well, we are sure Kriti will do wonders in any film she works in.

Kriti Sanon is likely to team up with her "Luka Chuppi" director Laxman Utekar and producer Dinesh Vijan for a film on surrogacy. Sources close to the development said the film, titled "Mamma Mia", is currently in the writing stage. "The film is in the process of writing. There is a Marathi film called 'Mala Aai Vhhaychy', which is on surrogacy and Maddock Films has official rights of it. But we have just taken the core idea of it and have changed the entire story. "There are no similarities between the two stories, the backdrop, the characters are different, just the idea of surrogacy mother we have taken. The Marathi film was made years ago. Back then, the emotions were different and today the taste of the audience is changing. As makers, we have to fulfil their expectations," the sources said. Kriti, who is basking in the glory of two back-to-back hit films "Bareilly Ki Barfi" and "Luka Chuppi", has liked the idea and is on board the project, they said. The film is expected to go on floors in November this year after the script is complete. Surrogacy is a subject which has been previously dealt with in films such as Sushmita Sen's "Filhaal", Salman Khan-starrer "Chori Chori Chupke Chupke" and others. Filmmaker Karan Johar's upcoming home production "Good News", featuring Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor Khan, also reportedly deals with surrogacy. Luka Chuppi (English: Hide and Seek) is an upcoming Indian Hindi-language romantic comedy film directed by Laxman Utekar. Produced by Dinesh Vijan, it stars Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon and tells the story of a television reporter in Mathura who falls in love with a headstrong woman.

Principal photography for the film began in Gwalior on 1 August 2018 and was completed in Mathura in September 2018. The film is scheduled to release on 1 March 2019.
