Random rambles about Wild Life Jim:

(Bit of info: decided to make Lizzie and Jim red panda’s this season so yeah—and Scars a tanuki)

• A luecistic red panda, so he’s still able to be blonde/yellow associated

• Makes himself appear bigger when he’s spooked/threatened by others (like actual red pandas!) Does this primarily when someone sneaks up on him or if the snail is around…

• Him and Lizzie like to hang around in the bamboo in between episodes, chasing each other through the bamboo tops </3 (seablings..ough..)

• Lizzie and Him have a section of the bamboo forest designated for them to eat from. They also have a stash of other goods they enjoy :D

- Scar helps and replants the bamboo that Lizzie and Jim eat

• Huge tail… Helps him balance when he’s traversing Bamountain.

• Jim, Lizzie, and Scar all got small wing tattoos on their backs to represent the bird mascots they’re all associated with! (Also for Jim’s canary motifs)

OOC: All the pokemon that are on my team will be legit pokemon I have on my switch.

I am an avid Shiny Hunter. I will have a few shinys on my team, maybe all of my team. This is a for fun blog. Please do not complain.

I am over 18, and will not be talking about adult things on this blog, so anyone can interact, as long as everyone keeps everything PG 13 at most.

I give realism to my pokemon, as in types of mutations and patterns, like pibaldism, luecistic, melanistic, on my pokemon. For example, I may say a pokemon is melanistic, meaning black/dark. I also will add in variations in stucture (ear type, fur type). I just like the realism, and the unique looks that can be brought out via realism. I also like hybrids/fusions.

There will also be Hybrids and Variants. So expect anything!

In short this is just for fun and I take nothing serious!

The dark fur = power rule is also true among Grey Seers just as it is true among common ratmen. Although all of them are magic-touched, some Grey Seers are sickly and frail and many of those Seers have white or light grey fur. The darker grey you get, the stronger and more fitter specimens you find, as is usually the case with albino or luecistic individuals in other species.

Fox pauses at the action, before she grins, a wide toothy thing. She fakes left, fakes right-- and when she thinks she sees an opening, she lunges for the space between Doomsday's legs. Even with a stance widened in preparation for Fox's advance, the space between anyone's legs was by no means wide enough to slip through without being stopped. But Fox's ace in the hole is that in the midst of her dive, a snow white, luecistic fox lands on the ground in her human's stead, a quick little creature that darts through what is a much larger gap by comparison, at much faster a speed than her arms and legs could've managed.

Playful, she barks, nipping at the back of doomsday's pinstripe suit, her tail squirming enough while she 'laughs' to smack at both Doom's legs, where she hasn't bothered to escape the rest of the way.

my initial thought was a melanistic serval but after further research into serval color morphs, i discovered an even better match to cranboo

Genetically speaking, what would cause a kitty to be all white except for an itty bitty grey thumbprint on their head? I wanted to send photos, but I couldn't figure out how to do so in an ask (I'm on mobile). I've had three kitties in recent times... My boy who passed was a lynx point with a white blaze; I called him my toasted marshmallow because he got darker as he got bigger! I'd share the stages if I could. I guess that's the temperature thing you were mentioning.

that’s called luecistic white!

the VAST majority of white cats are luecistic (rather than albino) white, the latter being a health condition rather than colouration that typically only pops up in certain breeds (Bengals, Siamese, and Orientals).

luecistic white in cats doesn’t strip them 100% of pigment, which is why you get green/yellow/orange/blue eyes with eyeliner and the occasional ‘thumbprint’ on their head

WE TALKING ABOUT BIG CATS?!

ok ok so you know albino and luecistic cats like white tigers and lions? Have you ever looked up melanistic cats? While albinism and luecism is a lack of pigmentation, melanism is a SURPLUS of pigmentation. Black Panthers fall into this category as actually being leopards and jaguars with a lot of extra pigment, but it happens to lions and tigers sometimes as well!

Also here’s my axolotls, the luecistic is named Freckle and the wild is named Toothless aka Tuso aka Tusoteuthis, both also known as Chumpy. They get along super well and like to hang out and sit on each other a lot.
