I don't actually know anything about the Shepards, I'm sorry. I've sort of heard that they make appearances in 'That Was Then, This is Now', but I haven't read that book yet.

do you think when flowey gets bored he just proposes random hypotheticals to clover. like they're waiting for something and flowey's ipad kid brain is so bored he just goes "hey. clover. what'd you do if you were about to save your progress, right? but RIGHT BEFORE you're able to do it, another me pops up and he goes 'clover what're you doing?' like he looks and sounds exactly like me you have no reason to suspect that this isn't also me. who would you trust? who would you kill?"

Absolutely. All of them are unhinged and sometimes he actually does them if it's possible.

the small pout you give logan almost matches the timid expression of the ball of fur snuggled in your arms.

"her name is clover," you scold at him before peeking down at the pup with a sweet smile. "and she's our new puppy."

head tilting, logan's eyebrows furrow. "wh-clover? it's not a fuckin' plant, for christ's sake. and where'd you even find it?"

you roll your eyes, hip popping to one side as you stare back at the man with an unimpressed look.

"one of my friend's dog just had a whole litter, and she was looking for nearby owners so they can all stay close and visit each other."

a scoffing laugh jerks logan. no, no. sure, he'd do anything for you... anything except this. this means walks and accidents. scooping shit and torn slippers. teething and begging for food that's his.

no matter how cute either of your faces might be, there's no way this is happening.

"you're lucky i only took one of them, you big grump. here," you tell logan, passing along clover despite his annoyed grumbling. "you two get to know each other a little better, okay? i'm gonna run to the store and grab some stuff to get her through the night, then we can hit the pet store tomorrow and spoil our girl, huh?"

the end of your sentence rises a good octave, as you plant your eyes on the dog logan's holding like he doesn't know how. you scratch gently behind her ears, and the man before you huffs. damn it. you're warming up to each other already.

"i'll be back soon, okay?"

you don't give logan a chance to answer before you plant two quick kisses–one for him and the other for the puppy who looks as sure about this as he feels–and traipse out the door with a pleased grin.

the silence that's left once you're gone is enough to force an eye roll from logan. glancing down, he meets stares with clover (he's not calling her that, by the way)–and huffs.

you're back quicker than logan thought you'd be. that's his only explanation for the sight you're met with upon returning to the house; logan shaking with deep bursts of laughter as clover attacks him with a swarm of kisses.

the two have moved to the floor in the living room, logan on his back and barely able to hold back the excited dog as she wags her tail with almost too much energy.

clover's the first to notice you, skipping away from logan to greet you in the form of a few yips and fast circles around your legs.

logan rolls over, rising to his feet with a stifled groan. all he does is plant a wet peck on your lips and scoop up a happy clover.

"i guess she can stay," the man shrugs, masking his acceptance of the situation with an unbothered expression. "still not calling her fuckin' clover, though."

(funnily enough I was watching a life series ep when I saw your answer) seeing the mention of cards has given me an idea, especially considering in the book Johnny beat Pony at poker (I think) a bunch in the church

originally, it was Pony and Johnny still being a duo even if it’s ‘single player’ and Pony helping him speak again

but then something more interesting came to me, imagine Johnny, who rarely ever talks when regressed, having no issue when it comes to card games. Like a switch flipped, confident, even when he messes up words, and if Pony was young enough/non verbal he’d help in games like go fish by talking for him

Gonna be real honest, my heart stopped when you mentioned the Life series... It took me a good minute to realize you were talking about your ask where you asked about what other fandoms I was in... and not that you knew who I was / which my main blog is.

Oh, oh I love the idea of Johnny being confident and comfortable enough to speak with (nearly) no issue and then also speaking for Ponyboy who was either too young or just non-verbal. Also, them partnering for games, even if they were solo games, is such a them thing too. I love that.

I can imagine that Steve will playfully accuse them of cheating, laughing with a smirk / smile to show that he's being playful, which usually gets him into 'glaring' contests Pony and Johnny's giggling and Sodapop is just happy the two aren't arguing.

Two-Bit definitely jumps in on it, rubbing on Johnny who's playfully actually arguing back, half verbally and half looking at Dally with a pout and Dally jumping to arguing back with Two-Bit.

Darry's just happily listening to the chaos around him, or he's probably slipping cards away without getting caught (little Pony catches him but doesn't alert anyone).

i know this is a rather preposterous question but of lucky patch... who do you think would be god's eepiest soldier if given the chance? (god's eepiest soldiers face their sweetest dreams) i personally believe it'd be flowey, though reluctantly, because he deserves all the naps all the rest and all the hooonk mimimimimi he can get. like he would not go out of his way to be god's eepiest soldier, hell he'd probably even try to fight it, but it is fate that when he rest his head on any sort of pillow or soft surface he falls into a slumber filled with sweet dreams and fluffy unicorns.

It's definitely Flowey 100%. He fights it but cannot resist it. Clover on the other hand fights tooth and nail to not be the eepiest soldier and wins. They have things to do! Justice to deliver! The only way you could get them to sleep is by force tucking them in or by giving them a concussion as demonstrated by the several times they've been knocked out due to blunt force trauma from falling. They constantly have too much energy to spend to even fall asleep. Sleep deprivation is their friend because why waste time sleeping when you could be helping out instead.

I mostly got the impression that Clover doesn't sleep much from one of Ceroba's Steamworks dialogue where she asks if Clover's gotten any sleep recently, so I assume that Clover would either have some eye bags or the lack of sleep is apparent on their face and general behavior. I also think that the only reason why they joined the Feisty Five is because they look up to Starlo and just wanted to follow his lead because he's a cool real cowboy in their eyes.

Good question! I Don't know. I've been browsing this strange multi-universe website for a while now and I've seen a few Batmans here, some unmasked and some not. I Assume his identity does vary in some worlds, but in most I've seen, he is Bruce Wayne. If he is in my world, I've no idea.

If he isn't then, Yes, I wholly 'subscribe' to the idea, for amusement alone.
