TUYMANS, LUC (Bélgica, 1958) 

Este artista se dedica a la pintura y enfrenta al espectador con temas históricos y sociales, confrontándole con la comodidad general en la que vivimos ignorando estos temas. 

Es una pintura figurativa que se caracteriza por su color extendido de manera muy aguada, sin demasiada saturación. Generalmente pinta imágenes sacadas del cine o la escena pública o sus propias fotografías. Crea un efecto borroso a través de sus pinceladas de forma intencionada. 

Este artista ha expuesto incontables veces en numerosos centros y galerías. Entre 1985 y 2016 se han registrado más de 100 exposiciones individuales, siendo 70 de estas internacionales.
