Student from Loyola College dies in a horrific tragedy close to Villupuram!

The death of a student of Loyola College in an accident near Aragandanallur has caused a great tragedy.

Allampadi village is under the Aragandanallur police station limits of Villupuram district. A private charitable organization is functioning in this village. 67 students from Loyola College Chennai visited here. They planned to create awareness among the villagers belonging to the area. In this case, yesterday evening they left Alamabadi charity organization to perform an awareness play in Thalanur village of Vadakarai. More than 30 students boarded a cargo vehicle

An unexpected accident

A Loyola College student died on the spot. He was 21. More than 20 students traveling in the cargo vehicle were seriously injured. 108 Ambulance was immediately informed. All of them were rescued and admitted to Thirukovilur Government Hospital for treatment.

Advanced treatment

At present, the injured students are receiving continuous treatment. More than 5 seriously injured students were given first aid treatment and were sent to Mundiambakkam Government Medical College Hospital for advanced treatment. Aragandanallur police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.

The student who died in the accident was R. Samuel. He has studied MA Economics at Loyola College. A photo of his college ID card has been released and is going viral on social media. It is said that there are not enough lights in the accident area. And they say there are no warning signs.
