"I'm always playing extremes, either the vulnerable girl or the vixen~."
Full Name: Lovette Sieglinde
Gender: Female
Pronouns: She/Her
Age: 19
Sexuality: Bisexual
Birthday: February 25th
Star Sign: Pisces
Height: 161 cm (roughly 5'3)
Eye Color: Fuchsia
Hair Color: Black
Dominant Hand: Left
Voice Claim: Aya Endō (Japanese) Reba Buhr (English)
Inspiration: Spinning Wheel
Homeland: Origin unknown, currently lives in Briar Valley
Dorm: Diasomnia
Year: 3
Club: Movie Appreciation
Best Subject: Ancient Curses
Worst Subject: P.E ( excels physically but despises being sweaty and messy hair)
Favorite Food: Rabbit
Likes: Flirting with others, getting what she wants, being adored, being told she's pretty, brushing her hair, self care, helping "cute" underclassmen, and being desired
Dislikes: Physical activity, being seen as just a pretty face (even if she uses that as a mask), broken mirrors, her nightmares, love/notions of "true love", people who try to get too close, and remembering her past
Personality: A flirty fox given a human form by a now deceased sorcerer. She will flirt to get her way, whether it be items or actions. She can be seen as vain, but that's a facade she refuses to remove. While she hates being seen as just a pretty face, she uses it to her advantage. She can be a bit bossy and childish (pouty) if things don't go her way. She will attempt to use her assets to get her way when given the chance.
Unique Magic: Vixen's Spell: Temporarily connects her targets string of fate to herself, allowing her to manipulate them to do what she wants. The more people she uses it on at once, the more draining it becomes on her. The effect is stronger on those attracted to her/who find her attractive.
Fox's Cradle: Can manipulate inorganic materials to trap her enemies (or use as projectiles) but it is EXTREMELY draining to her (as she has to draw blood) so she tends to avoid using it. If she does overdo it, she will be forcefully reverted back to her full fox form for 24 hours to rest (Ambrose's UM/ Her creator's magic)
Trivia
She is a fox given a human form
She's has a magic stone embedded in her back as she was the prototype of her "master" giving animals human forms
If the stone breaks, she will be trapped in her fox form
When her master died, he gave Lovette all of his magic power, she currently can use ≈ 50%
Her name was given to her by her "creator," Ambrose Sieglinde
While not technically the oldest, she is the Sieglinde who has had human form the longest and so is the proclaimed "oldest"
Is very protective over her siblings (3 sisters and 1 brother)
If she gets angry, more fox traits show (longer claws and sharper canines)
Loves to feel wanted, but is disgusted by it
"Needs" to be needed
Afraid/hates love due to connecting love with pain (had to watch Ambrose, her first love, be killed) as well as people mistaking lust/obsession for love
Is haunted by Ambrose's death and tends to use her charms to manipulate others so she can forget her pain (even if its only for a while)
Due to Ambrose's death, she is terrified of fire
The stone is her back in a physical rendition of Ambrose's magic
If she over uses her UM on someone, she can effectively make them insane (can only think of her)

Self Inserts
All of my inserts use any pronouns while i usually default to he/they for them
My Eto Ranger self insert is Cabbage! He's shipped with Kirinda/Lydia. he's a...janitor i suppose? its his job to keep the ship and common area clean. he's super antisocial but enjoys speaking to kirinda while cleaning because it's less stressful than talking face to face with a living person. He falls HARD for that robot and their relationship begins before kirinda gets his physical body back but cabbage certainly enjoys the goofball regardless of form
My One Piece self insert is Karma! He's shipped with Law and sometimes the heart pirates in general as a polyship. Hes the user of the ryu ryu no mi model chameleon. He joined the crew a little after Sabaody after stowing away. He's kind of a menace but hes their menace. hes really bad at his job because he doesn't have the skills to utilize his fruits powers correctly. Law unfortunately sympathizes with them having childhoods that parallel at points. I do not have a self insert that i ship with Deuce. I have delusions about being Ace and we were partners
My GoBB self insert is named Eddie! Theyre an anteater who was made to work with disabled children and theyre shipped with Banban! I hope that doesnt sound weird I was in and out of sped classes as a kid so I wanted to reflect that.
My Kamen Rider self insert is Jules! They're shipped with Kaito and are a member of team baron. They dont really have any lore yet except for hardcore yearning lol. Might make them a rider too?
My Supernatural self insert is Voltaire!!! Hes shipped with Rowena hes a nachzehrer and certified menace. His ass should be dead but free will keep him alive bc hes Rowenas little play thang and keeps her slightly in line. Not by much. His heads so empty only thoughts of his pack and beautiful older women
My Bugsnax self insert is Sunnie Cuteloop theyre a magician! They heart Shelda we love faking magic. Two dif kinds of magic but you know.
My Pokemon self insert is currently unnamed and shipped with Olympia! They're also a magician I swear im not unoriginal I just do magic irl. They're the child of Hocus from the Oblivia region but moved to Kalos to pursue their career. They want to separate from their father and aim to be a better magician than he ever was.
My Invader Zim self insert is Tiere Ley a vortian scientist. They've been with Lard Nar since before the war but didn't officially get together till the Resisty was formed.

Conversation
A conversation I had with myself last night...
Me: *whines* there's no Broadway revival
Inner voice: No, but there was an off-Broadway revival just a couple years ago and that's basically the same thing, since you are unable to travel to New York and see any kind of show at the moment.
Me: But the thing with the off-Broadway revival is that there are hardly any pictures and no videos of it. I'm grateful I got to hear some audio, but it still wasn't the full show, and without a cast album and sufficient bootlegs on YouTube, what's the point? It was also done on an incredibly small-scale similar to other Teeny Todd productions, although it does appear to be Victorian-era.
Inner voice: True, but they did a West End revival in 2012 which really wasn't that long ago if you think about it, and that had a cast album. It may not have been Victorian-era, but it wasn't Teeny Todd and there are videos of it on YouTube. It even starred Michael Ball, whom you are quite fond of, so that's exciting.
Me: Well I didn't like that cast recording as much as I thought I would. Michael Ball doesn't exactly fit the role to me. And it wasn't professionally filmed, so I can get no joy out of watching it either. The videos that do exist are pretty grainy. What's the point of doing Sweeney Todd if you're not going to film it, huh?
Inner voice: Um, Sweeney Todd is one of the few musicals that actually WAS professionally filmed with a full set and costumes back in the day, and it's not even a concert version. Remember the Hearn/Lansbury show you rewatched recently.
Me: As much as I love that, many aspects of it are pretty dated, and it only makes me yearn for a revamped version of the show. And although I like the cast, it's not my favorite overall.
Inner voice: You listen to songs from the Original Broadway Cast pretty much on a daily basis, so don't even go there about not having a cast whom you love, especially since some of the actors are the same as the Hearn show. And if you want an undated, high-quality live performance, there are TWO professionally filmed concert versions. Two!
Me: The concert versions only do so much for me as they do not include a full set.
Inner voice: So let me get this straight - you have a beloved cast album via the OBC to listen to on a daily, a professionally filmed fully-staged movie through the Hearn-Lansbury production, a non-professionally filmed version from 1979 (which is a miracle in itself), an opening night recording from 1979 featuring the full original cast, two concerts, a Tim Burton movie, a recent West End revival with a cast album starring your beloved Michael Ball, an even more recent off-Broadway revival starring your beloved Hugh Panaro, an even MORE recent concert version starring your beloved Anthony Warlow that you've already been able to hear audio from, and a production to look forward to with Lea Salonga playing Mrs. Lovett, and you're still complaining?
Me:
Me: I JUST WANT A NATIONAL TOUR THE FOLLOWING YEAR SO I CAN GO SEE THE SHOW WITH MY GRANDMOTHER! I'VE NEVER SEEN IT BEFORE!
Inner voice: YOU'VE SEEN THE SHOW! It may have been in a local theater with a teenage cast, but back then you were too young and inexperienced to care about the production values, and it's one of your fondest musical memories! How can you complain about not having seen it?!
Me:
Me:
Me:
Me: ...am I spoiled?
#musings#i really think a national tour and a not revival is what i actually want#but i've just been saying revival#because usually the year after revivals#shows go on tour#not all the time though#maybe if i could travel to new york?#i'm not that far away#it's just#money#and crowded city#and no one to go with#sweeney todd#sorry for the wall of text#but point is i'm an ungrateful bastard

#MICROSOFT NOTEPAD DOWNLOAD WINDOWS 7 FOR WINDOWS 10#
While those who wish to use a more stable Notepad experience can just wait for the version that is released in new Windows builds. I personally hope they come to a middle ground where Windows 10 users who want cutting edge features can download it from Microsoft Store. This also means that Insiders will have to wait for new Notepad versions to be released as Microsoft releases new Windows 10 Insider builds. If you had certain file types set to open in Notepad by default, you will see a prompt when you try to open files of that type again and will need to re-select Notepad.įrom the announcement, it looks like the latest Windows 10 Insider build will uninstall the Notepad from the Microsoft Store and replace it with the version being distributed with the build.
#MICROSOFT NOTEPAD DOWNLOAD WINDOWS 7 UPGRADE#
If you pinned Notepad to your Taskbar or Start menu, you will need to re-pin after you upgrade to this new build.Insiders may notice some changes as we remove this change from this build: At this time, we’ve decided not to roll this out to customers. The original XML Notepad shipped in back in 1998, written by Murray Low in C++. XML Notepad is the result of a promise Chris Lovett made to a friend at Microsoft. Thank you for all the feedback you provided on the Store version of Notepad. XML Notepad provides a simple intuitive User Interface for browsing and editing XML documents.

In the release notes for Windows 10 Insider build 19035 that was pushed out today, Microsoft states that Notepad will no longer be offered through the Microsoft Store. Unfortunately, it looks like Microsoft is rolling back this decision. Although it has a small footprint, it is powerful enough to handle most programming jobs thrown at it. Notepad3 is a fast and lightweight Scintilla-based text editor with syntax highlighting capability. Save in multiple encodings including UTF-8, UTF-16, and ANSI. Notepad3 is a revamp of the standard, vanilla offering Windows Notepad that comes with Microsoft’s operating system. Edit text-based files and source code instantly.

As always, if you have any feedback for Notepad, we welcome it in the Feedback Hub under Apps > Notepad." Windows Notepad is the official download for Windows 10 Notepad if you accidentally removed it and changed your mind. This will allow us the flexibility to respond to issues and feedback outside the bounds of Windows releases. Over the last few releases, we’ve been making a number of small improvements to Notepad based on your feedback (including expanded line ending support, wrap around search, and indicating when there’s unsaved content.) Starting with this build, we’re making a change so that future Notepad updates will be automatically available via the store. "Notepad has been a well-loved text editor in Windows for over 30 years. To make these new feature more readily available to Windows 10 Insiders, they announced in August that they would be pulling it out of the normal Windows release cycle and move it to the Microsoft Store where they can offer more frequent updates.

House of X #1 might be the single most-hyped superhero issue of 2019. Since the announcement that writer Jonathan Hickman would be revamping the entirety of Marvel Comics’ X-Men line, increasing interest and speculation have swirled around the previously mentioned miniseries and its intertwining partner, Powers of X. The debut of this project last week (along with a slew of San Diego Comic Con announcements for upcoming X-Men series) have shown the hype to be very real. Most critics and fans, including our very own Jamie Lovett, have showered the debut with rave reviews and rabid anticipation of whatever might come next.
One of the most interesting threads to emerge from this story is the notion that Hickman and his collaborators are reinventing the X-Men for a new era. Even the marketing from Marvel Comics have claimed that House of X marks the start of only the fourth notable period for X-comics (along with Giant-Sized X-Men, X-Men, Age of Apocalypse, and New X-Men). The critical response appears to support this advertising gesture, though, with many reviews and analyses pointing out how the first issue alone reframes the entire concept of mutants, individually and within the context of the Marvel Universe. So how exactly is House of X challenging the mutant status quo?

Terror stalks Rafe Spall and his mates in the first intense trailer for The Ritual.
The Ritual follows four friends from college who head off into the Scandinavian wild in an effort to get away from it all and reconnect with each other. But what begins as a trip of bonding and friendship turns into a nightmare when they take a shortcut and end up lost. Some of them are injured, and they seem stranded with nothing but forest in every direction. While trying to find their way back to civilization, they come across what seems to be an abandoned cottage. Inside they discover ancient artifacts on the wall and bones scattered on the floor in a sacrificial manner. They soon discover that something is stalking them and is intent on keeping them from leaving the woods. The Ritual is an adaptation of Adam Nevill’s award-winning horror novel.
Channeling other such “lost in the woods” films as The Blair Witch Project, The Ritual injects some humorous one-liners to break the tension all the while upping the carnage and increasing the sense of dread about to befall these four friends. There are even touches of Severance peppered here and there (at least from the trailer).
Starring Rafe Spall, Robert James-Collier, Arsher Ali and Sam Troughton, The Ritual comes from David Bruckner, whose Southbound, about weary travelers, all forced to confront their worst fears and darkest secrets in these interwoven tales of terror and remorse on the open road, made considerable noise when it premiered back in 2015 at the Toronto International Film Festival.
Bruckner also co-wrote and co-directed The Signal back in 2007, and was, for a time, in negotiations to call the shots on the latest stab at the Jason Voorhees mythology, revamping the Friday The 13th franchise before talks ceased and the project [continues] to lay dormant.
The Ritual opens in the U.K. on October 13th, but there’s no word yet on a U.S. date.
The film was scored by american composer Ben Lovett.

Sweeney Todd, the Demon Barber of Fleet Street: The Steaks are High.
By Ross
I’ve been dying of hunger waiting to see this British import of Sondheim’s Sweeney Todd, the Demon Barber of Fleet Street (here after referred to as Sweeney Todd) since first hearing about it. It sounded like so much delicious fun, being performed inside an actual pie shop, the 109-year-old Harrington’s Pie and Mash Shop in Tooting, London. So when I planned my trip to London last summer, my hope was to see and ingest some pie and mash. I had heard that it transferred to an unused restaurant in the west end, courtesy of Sir Cameron Mackintosh, for thirteen weeks in 2015, but once again I was thwarted. I can’t recall if it was bad timing or just plain ‘sold out’, but regardless of the ‘why’, I missed it. So I was thrilled last year to hear that it was coming across the pond and setting up shop at the Barrow Street Theatre. Not exactly the pie shop I had envisioned but regardless, I had to make sure that I was there this time. I wanted those Hot Pies.
Sweeney Todd is one of my favorite musicals of all times, and is in the top five theatrical experiences I’ve had. Right up there with Sunday in the Park with George (which I was lucky enough to see a few days prior to my visit to Sweeney Todd – what a great Sondheim week I’m having). Just like my mad affection for Jenna Russell in Sunday, I carry the same torch for Patti LuPone and Michael Cerveris who both dazzled in the John Doyle directed 2005 revival. Those two were magical; precise and delicious in every way in that stunningly unique production. So the stakes (or should I say, steaks – as food metaphors will be plentiful in this review) were high, and this delectable troop, made up of four of the original British players and a sprinkling of Americans thrown in for flavor (or union requirements) had a lot to live up to.
Delicious is the first word that comes to mind. Piping hot and tasty is this inventive revival, transported, not for life, but for an extended run in the revamped Barrow Street Theatre. The oldest pie shop in London has been recreated within the very flexible walls of this west village theatre (designer: Simon Kenny; lighting: Amy Mae; props: Ray Wetmore). Every inch is said to look just like the original, except the seats are a bit more comfortable, so says Joseph Taylor, one of the original Tooting Arts Club players who followed this meal ticket to NYC. He joined us at the head of our table just as the show was about to start, chatty and adorable. He certainly knows how to welcome us into this establishment. We did not join in for the pre-show pie and mash that was being offered, but a few beers seemed appropriate going in, just a shame they were from Brooklyn, not England.
Once the lights go out with a bang, the show kicks in with full force. From the first note sung, we know we are in for a solid fantastic meal here. It’s a small bare to the bones cast, each player has a significant role, but together with the three-person band (music director: Matt Aument: music supervisor and arranger: Benjamin Cox), these folk sure know how to fill up the room with song and movement.”The Ballad of Sweeney Todd” has begun, in full fledged aroma. Spectacular and exciting. As precisely directed by Bill Buckhurst (choreographer: Georgina Lamb), this production is filled to the brim with great voices, creativity, and a perfectly cast group of actors. Not one bad ingredient in the lot.
Jeremy Secomb as Sweeney Todd, the namesake of this bloody show has just the voice and presence to command the space and creep into our nightmares. He’s scary and strong, loud and frightening in his thirst for revenge. He’s funny when needed to be, but when he tells you to move, you won’t hesitate, and I dare you to avoid his glare. My dinner companion could not, and he has the goose pimples to prove it. His rendition of the hauntingly savory “Joanna” as he slices his way through his customers stays floating around in my head ever since.
Mrs. Lovett, one of my favorite Sondheim creations, played to vaudevillian perfection by the spectacular Siobhan McCarthy, has just the right amount of spice and humor. She nails every nuanced line and every note, in the scrumptious “Worst Pies in London”, playing with Sondheim’s tricky and fun words with the joy they deserve. She has’, ‘had’, ‘has’ great comic timing and like the fine baker she is, she serves up her hot pies with pride and relish. Outrageous and devilish, she’s the perfect side dish to Secomb’s meaty main course named Sweeney.
Our initial dinner companion, Taylor, as I expected, played Tobias with all the forlorn charm, glee, and innocence needed. He seems to be having the time of his life as he ushers us back into the pie shop after the interval. The beautiful song “Not While I’m Around” carries all the naivety and deceptive power required by the Mrs. Lovett and Tobias. He and the others all do impressive work in Sweeney with each and every one of those savorous Sondheim numbers. The young lovers (the ever so handsome Matt Doyle and the exquisite Alex Finke) are glorious and a wee bit crazy. The lovely and funny number “Kiss Me” plays joyfully with the theatricality of young lovers falling madly and deeply in love at first glance which Joanna giddily acknowledges when she sings that she doesn’t even know Anthony’s name.
The Judge Turpin (an impressive Duncan Smith) is perfectly cast, with the strong voice to go with the imposing frame. Brad Oscar as his side kick in menace, Beadle Bamford, leans a bit too close to a Nathan Lane impersonation at times which didn’t give him the menacing demeanor that the part sometimes requires, but the whole production leans towards a vaudevillian feeling that is entirely engaging and festive. Betsy Morgan as both the Old Woman and the shady barber, Adolfo Pirelli, gleefully bounces back and forth and beyond, serving up an impeccable performance each and every time she appears, and god, what a voice she has.
The whole production is more fun and startling, rather than dark and moody which works so well in the environmental set-up. The Barrow Street/Barrington Pie Shop space is surprisingly and delightfully well suited to the task, easily shifting for each scene needed. It’s an inventive and creative use of space and dynamics, that only starts feeling a tad bit forced in Act II when the bodies begin to pile up in the bake house downstairs. It feels a bit clumsy but by then we are all so giddy with joy that we are totally willing to brush that aside and take it all in happily. This piece of hot pie sliced by a demon barber went down amazingly well. It is the best pie in town, and if I could get another ticket, I’d go back for a second helping. Because “God, that’s good!”
