We received a quest to help some refugees who escaped from having their organs harvested, which we accepted, of course. Nobody should turn down free food.

The refugees are named Patch (a pyromaniac) and Sook (she's good at mining and nothing else). We'll let them help clean up the campsite before we eat them. May as well use the extra manpower while we have it!

So, during the space battle the other day, we rescued a catgirl highmate who fell from the sky. She's been hanging out in the cell with Socks and Blackdragon, and somehow Blackdragon, the ugly, psychite-dependant, acid-spitting biliog managed to woo her.

Randy Random wants us to reenact 'Beauty and The Beast' I guess. And now I have to draw catgirls. Thanks, Randy.

Then there were cute kitty snuggles that I felt like drawing. Salvatore is a good boy, and Bella is still adorable.

there’s something so funny to me about how the zoro vs mihawk duel was so vastly different in the manga/anime vs the live action

because in the one the whole staff is on their lunch break (about to get attacked by don krieg) and the krieg pirates are all gathered around to watch this east blue greenie get sliced in half by one of the seven war lords of the sea and ALL of them hear his declaration to the future king of the pirates that he will never be defeated again

and in the other it’s just two dudes duking it out on the front step to a crowd of two people at 4 am before the baratie opens for breakfast

not to post about the nine worlds again, but also that scene in “the return of fitzroy angursell” where tor is talking to—i forget if it was the shepherdess or Jullanar—and one of them suggests just talking to his friends about his feelings. and tor considers for a moment and is just like. hmm. kip doesn’t do that. still not sure if my bff has ever actually talked to his family about his job. but maybe it’s worth a try.

and like. poor kip is out here running the government, keeping the emperor sane, writing to each of his 59 cousins and various other relatives on a regular basis, trying to refurbish a house that’s halfway across the world from him… the guy can’t do it all. he’s a model for many things, but clearly not for talking to his loved ones about his feelings before they reach a boiling point

We all know that Astarion has some of the best lines in the game but nobody - NOBODY - told me how softly Gale's VA delivers that "I forget my Goddess" line... the breathlessness? the yearning?? hello

i’m halfway through “the redoubtable pali avramapul” and two things are just so funny to me:

1. that in the scene where pali is meeting with kip and ludvic she’s just spitting mad thinking about how they’re fitzroy’s jailers, they’re just government agents she needs to rescue him from, etc. while rewind to “the return of fitzroy angursell” and tor’s just like. oh kip, the guy who kept me sane all these years. yeah, kip, the guy who knows all about how salt is good for people’s health. kip, my bff who made me read his 900 page plan on how to make the world a better place (and he’s so right and it was worth reading even if it was 900 pages!). like. she just does not have the context hjkglskls

2. in that same scene she’s clearly left feeling still at odds with them, but when you read the scene from kip’s perspective in “the hands of the emperor” he’s just excited to be in the presence of one of the red company and thinks it goes as well as it could have. clearly did not get the same takeaways from that meeting, they’re going to need a follow-up email
