Lol just remembered that Ilkka said during that Alan Wake halloween stream from a few years ago that Alan's favorite music style would probably be jazz bc it reminds him of his mother or something. And you do hear bits of jazz during the musical and the talk show opening sequences. But since Mr Door's house band are the Old Gods of Asgard, a jazz musical wouldn't be an option and I can literally hear Tor screaming "What? JAZZ? Fuck that! We're gonna make this thing METAL!!"

3. second zane poem that he recites is just the ending. its first part is about mirrors

4. i suspect zane was revisiting his older poems.

a nice question to ask – when they were written. as hartman was helping zane the poet with writing after barbara's death. well, at least this one was written before she died

5. e is emil hartman, ofc. also, underlined words are the part of 'balance slays the demon' song

6. second part is the poem from the beginning of aw1 that alan was supposed to understand, according to zane. also, 'beyond the lake he called home lies a deeper darker ocean green' is the part of 'balance slays the demon' song as well

What I find funny is that, since Warlin Door is basically confirmed to be Saga’s father, since the Old Gods didn’t really like Door and most likely that it was Tor who struck with his lightning, that not only did Mr Door have the Old Gods as guests for his talk show, but that he performed a musical song with them. I find it funny since there seems to be bad blood, but that the Old Gods showed up to his talk show and that Door let them show up lol.
