My first emoji anon hiii!! Thank you so much for your request!! I loved writing this and I’m sorry for the wait. This also isn’t as long as I wanted it to be so when I get time I will write more headcanons for this dynamic!! <3
not proofread sorry
Warnings: none
You had recently been turned into a vampire. While it had its perks it did mean that you were now immortal and it all felt a little daunting, especially when you had to keep everything a secret.
Everything had been going fine, you had been managing to hunt at night so no one saw you and it had been working. Key word being had. This was because tonight while you were hunting small animals you were found by the one and only Rory. You wouldn’t say you were friends, you had only spoken a few times in class to swap answers but now he had seen you sucking the blood from the neck of a squirrel. That was irreparable damage to any future friendship aspects. Or so you thought. You had thought many things, your thoughts racing as he might tell the whole town and you would have to flee but all he did was grin. He got super excited and started rambling about how cool this was. You missed the majority of what he was saying from the shock of his reaction and when you finally tuned back into what he was saying you heard “you’re a vampire too!”. You finally dropped the squirrel and stood up, slowly walking towards him. “You mean you’re a vampire aswell?” You asked Rory with a very confused look. “Of course, Erica and Sarah are too”. You couldn’t believe there were more, you had been suffering this whole time with so many people like you close by.
After your encounter Rory introduced you to the rest of the friend group and they immediately accepted you. Benny and Ethan being the only non vampires of the group were slightly cautious as they didn’t know your tolerance for the smell of blood yet. They quickly warmed up to you though when they saw you could handle yourself better than Rory and Erica.
You took a special liking to Ethan, you found it cute how he got slightly nervous around you. Stumbling over his words slightly. You loved to tease him to make it worse. You did however also befriend him and become close to him. He understood some of your worries about being a vampire (hearing the same worries from Sarah and the others) and he listened to al your other concerns. You were each others confidants. You grew closer until the point where your feelings for each other were undeniable to even yourselves. Ethan would take a while to admit his feelings so you probably ended up beating him to confessing them. Ethan doesn’t mind you being a vampire but he does worry for your safety even if you could handle yourself. He would hate to think of a future where you were still young and he was getting older, would probably consider turning into a vampire for you. Whether he went through with it though is another thing.
Headcanons:
-He completely trusts you around him and doesn’t feel threatened even if you have your teeth out around him. He also feels bad that you’re stuck with someone with such irresistible blood to a vampire.
-he only gets nervous around your teeth if you bring them out while play fighting or cuddling. He doesn’t feel threatened he’s just scared of the power they hold.
-would try his best to help you with any of your cravings, may even offer some of his blood but you would always refuse.
-would be so caring towards you and would always stick up for you in any situation. Especially if you were fighting the weekly problem and they went after you.
-would try and find a spell in bennys book or some cure for you as he knew it troubled you at times. Would never pressure you into anything like that though
-he always felt protected when you were by his side and he hoped you could feel the same when he was close by even if he didn’t hold half the power you did
-would ask advice about vampire stuff from Sarah and would listen to everything she said
-would be in complete awe of you at all times.
-he found you so hot when you used your powers against any supernatural being
-would research and look through ALL the pages of google on vampires to just find everything out about you
-he would trace his fingers gently over the teeth marks on your neck. Occasionally softly kissing them.
-would never judge you in any shape or form
-would just genuinely love you and wouldn’t care that your slightly different from the average person. Would face any challenges along the way with you and stay by your side.
Thank you for reading!!

Yandere Shouta Aizawa/Eraserhead from BNHA but an AU where he's a villain? Can be concepts or a short, I'm happy with either! Darling could be a hero or a civilian but either way they have a powerful quirk, I think it would be cool to see what happens when Darling is faced with a yandere they can't rely on their quirk to defend against c: Of course, if you wanna keep Aizawa as a hero and feeling slightly guilty over his actions(but rationalizing them, of course), that could also be fun. Heroes are trustworthy, right? ;)
Honestly... Could go for some Villain AU, sure. I made you a hero in this :)
Yandere! Villain! Aizawa with Darling who has a strong Quirk
Pairing: Romantic
Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Manipulation, Possessive behavior, Violence, Stalking, Restraints, Kidnapping, Sadism, Forced relationship.
Honestly, this idea is pretty neat if we make it a Villain/Hero story.
You're no doubt a pro hero who learned how to utilize your strong quirk for good.
Although, since you have such a strong quirk, you've most likely been utilizing it more than you should.
Since you've trained you've used it as a crutch.
You just haven't realized it... until it was taken.
Many pro heroes have a tendency to rely on their quirks.
Aizawa no doubt knows this weakness heroes have.
He may be lazy but he's observant.
He's actually learned how to fight with not just his quirk due to this.
After all, it's easy to bind a hero if they can't rely on their power.
Pathetic.
Aizawa no doubt observes his targets.
He knows you're a pro hero, he knows your quirk, and he knows your standing on the ladder.
Aizawa actually knows a lot more about you than you think.
He's always been observant of those he deems as targets.
Honestly, him being your yandere in this scenario is humbling.
When you first encountered Aizawa, that's when you realized just how vulnerable you are.
He knows that too.
You knew Aizawa was an infamous villain.
You knew of his quirk, you knew he went by Erasure.
Despite that... You weren't prepared.
You had first met him when you were called to detain him from a scene.
Unfortunately, you became reckless.
During your fight against him, Aizawa managed to make eye contact with you through his goggles.
It's nearly instant that your quirk stops and he manages to restrain you.
By the time the binding cloth wrapped around you... you expected him to seriously hurt you.
If not kill you.
Yet, instead, the villain grinned at you with a look of sadism.
Honestly, he was having fun with this.
You're cute when you realize your efforts are hopeless.
When you squirm it's amusing.
"Did you just realize you're out of your league? You seriously call yourself a pro when you can't even fight without your silly quirk?"
By the time the fight concludes and Aizawa spares you, you're left feeling weak.
This is also the start of you two seeing one another frequently.
Aizawa becomes the reason you train harder.
You're humiliated and anxious after your recent loss to him.
So after that... you work hard on training without your quirk.
Aizawa, on the other hand, is keeping track of your every move.
He likes how much he's affected you.
It's funny how him simply putting you on your rear is enough to make you rethink your whole routine.
If only all heroes thought about that.
Aizawa likes you because he's manipulative.
He likes to toy with you, to see how much he can push you before you're vulnerable.
In a twisted way... He's fallen for you.
He loves to make his hero hopeless.
It's a satisfying feeling to see someone so powerful fall.
Aizawa craves it when it comes to you.
You're driven with the urge to best Aizawa, to convince yourself and others that you can be strong as a pro.
Aizawa, however, meets with you because he enjoys seeing and toying with you.
He wants to see you break.
Each fight you two have gets closer and closer...
Yet you haven't studied Aizawa as much as he has with you.
Each fight ends the same.
You try to fight him quirkless, he's much faster than you, and you end up restrained.
It's not like you can avoid him either.
Even when you try to focus on other threats in the area, Aizawa always seems to be there.
Aizawa could easily control his obsession.
It's easy for him to kidnap you.
Well... with some planning.
Aizawa would have to snag some quirk canceling cuffs if he plans to keep you in one place.
Yet once he does... All he needs to do is find you again.
Your final fight is actually closer than expected.
You had been training your skills in physical combat just to face him again.
You aren't as fast but you've managed to learn some decent defense.
Unfortunately... Aizawa is once again determined to break you.
You manage to break out of his cloth a few times, you even manage to get him to blink.
Although... eventually Aizawa catches you off guard, once again making you feel weak despite your reputation.
You expect this to go as the last few times... only for you to feel the metallic click of cuffs on your wrists.
"Sorry, sweetheart... This time you're coming with me."
Once at this stage, things are easy for him.
Aizawa likes to keep you in his secret hideout, cuffed in his room where you get to look all pitiful for him.
Despite being such an intimidating villain... you notice he certainly naps a lot...
Most of the time near you.
Aizawa originally takes you so he can break you into his little doll.
You soon learn that... isn't entirely true.
Aizawa wants to break you not only for his own sadistic joy...
But because he adores you.
To him, this is his form of courtship.
He wants to keep you here as his entertainment, all for his pleasure.
You may not understand how he feels... but breaking you mentally is euphoric.
Poor you, supposedly a big strong hero meant to protect the innocent...
Now you're just like a civilian, captured and helpless, all at his mercy.
You may not love him yet, or even understand his motives...
But he'll break you... then train you to be his...
How's it feel to be weak, hero?

Black Cat x male hero s/o
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/0913e6f07282c6386891adfce5c86ad5/293af68ceb412b38-22/s540x810/ef0a18ac0b9efb9bf7f14d4e7962f22d58860240.jpg)
Being one of the several superheroes other than Spider-Man residing in New York, it was only a matter of time that s/o had a run in with Felicia Hardy, also known as Black Cat, which he did during one of his patrols.
“Oh? And here I was expecting the Spider to swing in and spoil my fun as always.”
She says after encountering s/o on a rooftop after her latest heist.
“Well you’ve got me instead, I hope you’re not too disappointed.”
“Far from it. In fact, I’m liking what I’m seeing.”
The feline themed cat burglar responds in a flirtatious tone while taking her sweet time eying the hero up.
“Really now? That makes two of us. You know, I’ve always been kind of a cat person.”
He flirts back as Felicia feels her face heat up slightly, much to her slight surprise.
“Oh I like you. Now let’s see if you can keep up hero.”
She then flees as s/o does his best to keep up before he eventually loses track of her.
“Darn it! I lost her! She may have gotten away this time, but something tells me I’ll be seeing her again, or at least….I hope so.”
Over the next few weeks, s/o and Felica kept running into each other, whether it’s intentional or not, and soon an attraction begins to grow between them.
“I must be out of my mind. How can I be developing feelings for her? Granted she’s not evil or anything like that, but she’s still technically a villain, and I shouldn’t be thinking about her this way. Oh jeez, what am I gonna do?”
Meanwhile, Felicia is much more accepting of her growing feelings for s/o.
“I haven’t felt this way about anyone before, and I can tell he feels the same, so it’s time for this kitty to sink her claws into a certain hero.”
She thinks to herself with a smirk while coming up with a plan.
Later on, Black Cat is met by s/o during another outing (which she planned with the sole intention of catching the hero’s attention) and quickly gets to work.
“Well well well, there’s my favorite hero, looking as handsome as ever. With how often we’ve been seeing each other, you really know how to make a girl feel special. Now it’s my turn to return the favor.”
Before he could react, s/o is pulled into a deep kiss and quickly sinks into it, thus sparking a romantic relationship between him and Felicia.
Despite now being a couple, it took awhile before the two decided to reveal their civilian identities to each other, but when they finally did, it brought them closer as a result.
“So you’re the man behind the mask huh?”
“Yep. My name is s/o.”
“I’m Felicia. Felicia Hardy.”
“Felicia….a pretty name for an even prettier face.”
He says as she can’t help but blush.
“Thanks. You’re not at all bad yourself handsome. Why, I have to refrain myself from pouncing on you right this second.
Now it’s s/o’s turn to blush.
“God, I love you Felicia.”
She looks at him in shock before smiling widely.
“I love you too s/o.”
After saying those three special words for the first time, the two share a passionate kiss and embrace.
Now being in a serious relationship, s/o and Black Cat always have each other’s back despite being a hero and a villain respectively.
Dating a superhero has caused Felicia to gradually become more of a vigilante, helping her boyfriend fight villains if she can.
“We make a great team don’t we?”
“I think so too, and watching my strong handsome boyfriend take down bad guys makes this kitty purr if you know what I mean.”
“I can say the same about you beautiful.”
Even after dating for quite some time, s/o and Felicia never stop flirting with each other, often leading to spontaneous make out sessions.
As far as jealousy goes, there really isn’t any to speak of.
S/o and Black Cat are so enamored with each other that they both know there’s nothing to worry about in terms of other women/men, even taking into consideration Felicia’s flirty nature.
(If s/o ever did get bothered by his girlfriend’s meaningless flirting, she would definitely tone it down for him.)
Dates with these two can literally be anything, but their favorite thing to do is stay at home (whether it be Felicia’s apartment or where s/o lives) and watch movies together on the couch.
“This is nice, after fighting villains all week, it’s safe to say we needed this.”
“Yep, especially because I get you all to myself s/o.”
She tells him sweetly while cuddling up next to him and resting her head on his shoulder.
Because both of them are friends with Peter Parker, aka Spider-Man, it’s not uncommon for s/o and Felicia to mix things up by having a double date with him and MJ.
“Dinner was great as always, but I insist that I split the bill with you Peter.”
“You sure s/o?”
“Of course! You and MJ were kind enough to invite us to come here with you, so it’s the least I can do to thank you both.”
“What a gentleman. You got yourself a good one Felicia.”
Mary Jane tells the white haired girl, who smiles in response.
“That I do MJ, that I do.”
Should a villain ever seriously injure s/o, they’ll soon face the wrath of a very pissed off Black Cat.
“Hurting my man wasn’t very bright, so now the claws come out. They say a cat has nine lives, so let’s see how many you have!”
Luckily Spider-Man was there to stop her from doing something she’d regret.
“Cat, you don’t wanna do this! Do you think s/o would be ok with what you were about to do?”
Upon hearing the mention of her boyfriend, Felicia calms down a little and focuses on getting s/o some medical attention as Peter deals with the villain.
After s/o fully recovers, Felicia will become slightly clingy for a while.
“That scumbag was lucky Peter stopped me, because I was this close to using him as my personal scratching post, and let me tell you, this cat has some really sharp claws.”
She says with a pout while holding him tightly to her chest.
“I didn’t know my pretty kitty was so protective.”
“What can I say? I’m the type of girl who doesn’t appreciate someone messing with what’s hers.”
“Oh so I’m yours huh?”
He asks her teasingly, making his girlfriend chuckle.
“Yep, but you already knew that.”
“True, though you know that means your mine right?”
Felicia smirks in response and whispers breathily into her boyfriend’s ear.
“Oh believe me, I do. This kitty is all yours s/o.”
And just like that, things proceed to get a bit…….spicy between the two.
Nearly three years after they began dating, s/o decides it’s finally time to pop the question, and he does so after bringing Felicia to the very same rooftop where they first met.
“This place sure brings back a lot of memories doesn’t it?”
“Uh-huh, it’s where a certain handsome hero came into my life that I feel in love with. I’m so happy to have met you that night s/o.”
“I feel the same way Felicia, which is why I want us to be together for the rest of our lives. Felicia Hardy, will you marry me?”
He asks his girlfriend after getting on one knee while showing her an absolutely beautiful ring.
“I was hoping you were gonna do this at some point, because if not, I was gonna propose myself! Yes, of course I’ll marry you s/o!
She pulls him into a passionate kiss after he slips the ring on, the beautiful white haired (former) cat themed thief looking forward to having her hero boyfriend as her hero husband.

![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/4a766dad04e910141d752eac44e9e225/41ee69169446cd26-e0/s540x810/253dc3b76e8a437226ffcce7caf49a494e388caa.jpg)
The one special spot in his heart had ached through the night, like somehow, somewhere, you were pulling at the rope wrapped around his heart and soul. Though, Eris couldn't feel you, not truly, all he felt was the occasional pang in his chest that he had convinced himself was you, that it was your way of telling him that you were still there.
It was the only thing he could grasp onto that would give him any amount of hope.
Eris hadn't been able to sleep that night, not when he knew that the chance of getting you out lay in the minds of two other males, on their beliefs and morals. Instead, the High Lord lay on his, your, bed, staring up at the ceiling with an arm tucked behind his head. The thoughts wouldn't stop speaking to him, ones of horror at what Rhys was doing to you whilst he sat safely in Autumn, thoughts that told him how unworthy he was for not moving sooner.
An entire night had been spent that way, from dusk till' dawn, from when the sun set to when the birds began their morning greeting. Light slotted through the still-open curtains, Eris hadn't bothered to close them the night before, knowing that sleep would not grace him anyway. Tension lingered in the manor, it clung to each and every surface it could, seeping into the bones of every object it kissed; it was one of unknowing, and it was putting Eris on edge.
Swinging his legs to find the floor, Eris sat there for a moment, inhaling deeply and attempting to centre himself; his fists were balled up in the cream bed spread that still held the faint scent of you, and he rocked back and forth gently, imagining the ghost of you wrapping your arms around his chest and pressing your lips to his shoulder.
Eris didn't know how long he had sat like that, picturing you straddling him with that smile he loved so much pulling at your lips. Eris was content in sitting like that for the rest of his days if it meant that a part of you was alive within his mind. A curt knock pulled him from the thoughts, and he didn't bother turning around when the door opened and Lucien appeared, "Helion and Tamlin will be arriving soon, just in case you wanted to put a shirt on or something."
Lucien had been trying his best to bring some joy to Eris' world since you had left, he thought that you would have wanted that.
A fleeting moment of silence encapsulated the air, then Eris turned his head to the side slightly, only by a couple of inches to make it clear that he was listening, "Lucien," Eris swallowed hard and from where Lucien stood, he saw his brother fight against the tears threatening to dampen his mask, "Do you really think that she'll make it back?"
The window of the bedroom had become more of a mirror to his dreams recently, he envisioned himself rising one evening after soft waves of your scent reawakened his land to look through that window and see you lingering at the end of the path that led to the manor. Each time he looked through it, he almost crumbled with the disappointment.
Lucien had moved closer to his brother, perching on the spot beside him and sighing, "I think that there is no world that exists where she would ever truly leave you behind," Eris' chin was bowed low, he didn't wish for Lucien to side the more vulnerable side to him, no one ever had really, no one but you, "Whether she knows of the bond or not, y/n loves you. Only a fool would be blind to it."
"I remember when I first met her. It was after you had found Feyre and I, when we had returned from the Night Court after that encounter," Lucien's eyes flickered as he recounted the memory, like the images were replaying in his mind, "I remember being intimidated by her, and all she did for a couple of days was observe me, watch me closer than I ever had been before. Then one day she sat beside me and handed me a book after not speaking more than two words to me, she said that she had found me in the library staring at the spine for a second too long and knew that I was intrigued by it so she went and bought me my own copy," a fond sad smile grew on his lips, then soft amusement flashed in his eyes, "She said no one could ever take a single book from that library without her permission, she had the entire place warded against it. It was then that I knew that she was meant to be in my life in some form, no one had really taken a moment to observe me in a way that mattered. It made me feel bad actually, I thought she was watching me to decipher if I was some kind of threat when actually she was figuring out the ways to help me feel more comfortable and adjust to the life I found myself living."
"She still kept her distance a bit, but I'd often find the odd title left on my bed or some kind of Spring Court baked good on my table. It was her way of showing that she cared, she was the only one out of all of them that really made an effort with me. You hear the stories of her, of how terrifying and monstrous she is, but then you stand with her for a moment and know that she is the most pure thing to ever walk this world," Lucien closed his eyes and dropped his shoulders, and he whispered, "I miss her."
Eris rested a hand on his shoulder and squeezed slightly, "So do I, brother. So do I." Eris sighed, the weight of the truth weighing down on him.
"I need to tell you something, about y/n." Eris felt the sidelong glance streak down the side of his face, "When she was Under The Mountain, Amarantha took a special liking to her, she knew that y/n is the most powerful being in Prythian, and she had a theory. Wings are the most sacred thing to Illyrians, they're basically entangled with their souls, and Amarantha suspected that she would be able to alter y/n's soul through them." A chill shrouded the room, "Amarantha placed the stone of a demon in her mutilated flesh the night she took her wings, believing it was a direct line to possessing her, to giving her body as host to the demon trapped within the stone."
"The Monster of Velaris is real, Lucien. It's just not y/n."
Lucien's mouth had gone dry the moment Eris had suggest that you had been experimented on, shaking his head, he demanded more information, "She is sharing her body with a demon? Does she know? How do you know this?"
Straightening his back and looking beyond the window, to the place he always imagined you to be, Eris blinked, and then answered, "Honestly? I don't know if she does," Then the cogs began to turn, "Rhys sent Nesta and Azriel on a mission before I brought y/n here, he sent them Under The Mountain. Nesta found a journal of sorts written by Amarantha on all the things that have happened to her. Things that happened before Amarantha even met her."
"What do you mean?"
Eris didn't want to say it, he didn't want it to be real, not because of his lack of love for you, but because what Rhys had done to both of you was cruel, and if you knew, it may very well shatter your light. And it threatened to shatter his light too.
"We are Carranam. Our bond flows deeper than just mates," he said as though being mates was a fickle speck in the grand scope of what he felt, "Our magic flows as one, our minds reach out for one another. I made her more powerful, more of a threat, and Rhys was ordered to wipe our minds of each other," his fists clenched in the sheets at the thought, "We were in love, Lucien. I always knew it was her, even when I couldn't remember her or our time together, I knew."
Eris was the only person that you had encountered that hadn't looked at you in terror and ware, he looked at you like some precious priceless antique, he admired you from afar and could only wish to one day be graced with some part of you. Eris had never been nor ever would be afraid of you.
Neither would Lucien. "And where is this book now?"
A nudging feeling knocked on Eris' shoulder, notifying him of the two presences that had slipped through the wards from opposite sides of the boarder. Eris rose to his feet, crossing the room and beginning to dress himself in the mirror that he occasionally found you twirling in front of wearing an array on new garments that now lay in the wardrobe in waiting, "It's in the library in the House of Wind."
But that moment wasn't the right one to talk of it, not when two High Lords were approaching the manor eagerly intrigued to know of the message scribed between the lines of Lucien's summons. The two Vanserra brothers had a role to play, a vital one that would allow them to have some form of hope, that would bestow them with allies to demand your freedom.
With a shaky inhale, Eris willed the mask of the High Lord of the Autumn Court to fall over his eyes and prayed to the Mother that it would be enough to save you.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/4a766dad04e910141d752eac44e9e225/41ee69169446cd26-e0/s540x810/253dc3b76e8a437226ffcce7caf49a494e388caa.jpg)
It had become clear quickly that your presence in the River House was enough to make anything with sense scatter to the farthest reaches of the city. Not a single heartbeat other than your own could be heard, it thumped so intensely that it rattled the house.
Something didn't feel right.
A poisonous venom had seeped into your bones and mind, it threatening to wilt your soul and spirit, and for the first time in your life, you felt the darkness begin to salivate over the lightest part of you. The part of you that had always been untouchable, where everyone you loved lay safely.
Rubbing the spot on you chest over your heart, you frowned at the gentle tugging pulling at you, but you continued to ignore it the best you could. Like you had since the moment you stepped beyond the wards of Autumn.
The house had been watching you, reading you, and a small smile graced your face as you turned the corner to find a steaming bowl of soup and bread waiting on the countertop. No one is here to stop you, take it, the home seemed to scream, and you were happy to indulge the order. The hem of your skirt skittered along the floor and brushed against your skin as you stopped in front of the meal, inhaling the aroma of roasted vegetables, chilli and honey; you dived in right away, scooping the spoon left on the counter into the concoction and humming when it hit your lips.
Weak fingers curled around the edge of the surface, using it as leverage to keep you from crumbling to the floor at the first real nutrition you had consumed in what felt like weeks. Time had become scattered to the point where you weren't sure how long you had been locked up in that room or how long exactly you had been a prisoner of the Night Court.
Even looking at your reflection had become strenuous. You couldn't bare to see the sullen cheekbones or the pallid hue that had possessed your skin let alone the dimmed fire in your eyes. Even the twin tattoo of Azriel's had seemed to fade, on the brink of collapse and withering at the loss of fulfilment. There was no point in looking after yourself, you knew that the chances of making it out alive were slim regardless of the alliances made with Cassian and Mor.
A faint creak sounded through the house, an opening of a door, and you froze as a soft melodic voice vibrated through the home, "Hello?" It sounded so familiar, the voice held a certain softness to it, a softness you knew very well but couldn't quite place in your haze, "It's Gwyn," she wavered, "I just wanted to drop off some treats for y/n?" A footstep echoed as the priestess delved further into the home, probably feeling the icy atmosphere coil around her frame.
Without thinking, you stepped out from the threshold of the kitchen and winced when the basket between her fingers crashed to the floor, "Oh gods," Gwyn scrambled to repack the delicately wrapped treats back into the basket and did her best to pick every crumb from the carpet before placing it to the side and approaching you, tentatively, like she had found a wounded animal in the middle of a forest.
"Gwyn," your shakily reached for her and she slid her hands into yours, her warmth instantly soothing the ache within you for a kind touch, "Are you really here?"
Gwyn glanced to your neck, to the inky black veins poking out from the onyx collar locked around your throat, and then to your wrists where her fingers had licked against the same stone, "What is this?"
"Rhys put these on me, they block my magic," the stone purred against your skin, relishing in the life pouring into it, "I'm a prisoner here now, I can't leave."
"Rhys did this to you?" Rhys her High Lord? Rhys your brother by blood? Rhys?
Humming gently, you felt the air swirl, a soft caress from the house that sought to warn you that soon enough you wouldn't be alone, "Gwyn I need you to do something," he grasped her arms desperately, her blue eyes gazed at you with water gathered on the bottom lid but she nodded, "I need you to get a message to Nesta and Eris, they're at Fir Manor in the Autumn Court. You tell them that I am here and what Rhys has done to me, you tell them that I am turning people to my side. You tell them that I love them and that if I don't make it out of here then they have to know that there is no place they could go where I wouldn't be walking beside them."
The world rumbled and you knew then that the presence approaching was not kind or understanding, it was everything opposite of that, "Take the basket and go, Gwyn," you glanced to her, "Get out of here before he sees you."
Gwyn hesitated but turned and left, her braid flowing over her shoulder as she swept up the basket of pastries in her fingers on her exit. The girl was clever enough not to linger, and you mustered up whatever little power that still dwelt within you, the last speckles of magic left, to glamour her scent just as Rhys stalked through the back door.
Rhys sniffed the air and his pupils dilated before his gaze landed on you, his frail and hunched over sister stood in the doorway that no longer reeked of Autumn. The house had whisked away its offering before he had entered, leaving no remnants of its care toward you and returning to its usual position of bystander. A talon reached to tuck a strand of hair behind your ear, it trailed down your cheek and along your jaw, then it grasped your chin and jolted your head to meet the gaze of its owner.
"Azriel tells me that Helion and Tamlin entered the Autumn Court this morning," his head ticked to the side and his eyes darkened, he drew you closer into his body, "Seems as though your friend is rallying support."
Azriel.
Of course he was still watching over Autumn.
It was foolish to believe that you could change his mind, it was obvious that he served the delusional thoughts and beliefs of your brother, the only one who did actually. Pain struck through your body, and if it weren't for Rhys holding you up, you would have sank to the floor.
Gone were the days of entering your room to find him propped up on your comforter reading a book. Gone were the days of his showering affections and ghosting touches, of his lovesick gaze and bright smiles. Gone were the nights at the cabin promising to always care for one another and planning your futures around one another. It was all gone.
Standing chest to chest with Rhys, you could see his eyes morph to black, and now that you were powerless it was enough to terrify you, and you felt yourself shrinking in his embrace, "I have no hand in what Eris does."
"I know that my sweet sister," he pressed his lips to your forehead and smiled at the chilled caress that met them, "It just means that I now have to move you somewhere much less comfortable."
"You're a psychopath."
Rhys' smile widened into a grin and his grip wound around you a little tighter, "I prefer creative."
The world evaporated in a kaleidoscope of colour, and then you were somewhere dark and cold, where the only sound was the occasional dripping from the open sky light that allowed little to no light into the room. A metallic stench clung to the air, it was moulded with despair and longing, a horribly dark and lonely aura encapsulated the space. Dark stone encased you, no windows existed bar the one that lingered a hundred feet overhead, and the only source of light burned from the lanterns glowing every few metres, making the stone floor glow, and then you realised where you were.
The Prison.
Where the most vile and corrupt creatures were locked away and forgotten about.
Coiling his fingers around your upper arm, Rhys dragged you down the halls, groans and manic laughter emitted from the cells as they hurtled past and you bare feet struggled to keep up with Rhys' pace. You fought against his grip, using your digits to try and pry his hand from your flesh but it was no use, you had little to no strength left, you had used the last parts of your magic to glamour Gwyn's scent.
The rattling of your chains had spurred on the inhabitants of The Prison, all of which had pressed their eyes against their gates and were trying to reach you, their fingers brushing against your flesh as you pleaded with Rhys to stop whilst they whispered and hissed into the abyss.
The Princess.
Demon.
Death.
"Rhys, please, you can't do this. Please." The queen that lived within you had vanished, she had retreated into the darkest part of you for refuge and watched on as the last bulb of your light flickered.
His pace did not falter at your cries, and the unsettling vocalisations of the prisoners continued on, "I'll be back for you once this all blows over," he rounded the corner and you saw the open door, of a room that awaited to devour you and everything that you were or could be. Rhys tossed you inside, not even flinching when your knees collided with the floor and your body slumped against the poor excuse of a bed, it was more like an altar, like the one Amarantha had chained you to that night. Upon further reflection you discovered that the altar didn't just look like it, it was an exact replica of the one in her torture chamber.
Groaning doors pulled and locked into place and you crawled to it, bottom lip wobbling and resolve disappearing more with each passing moment. Grasping the bars, you hauled yourself up, clearing your blurred vision to see Rhys turning away from you and heading back in the direction where he had dragged you from, "Rhys! Please. Please don't leave me here. Please."
Soft sobs broke through your lips when he didn't even move his head and winnowed from sight. Turning from the bars, you sank to the floor and pulled your knees to your chest, your body shook furiously as it took in the darkness that welcomed you like an old friend, and that altar grinned at you like a loaded gun. Rhys knew exactly what he was doing when he put that in the chamber, it was his final attempt to break your mind, to put you back into the worst moment of your existence and watch as you succumbed to it.
For the first time in awhile, your mind was silent, no bickering thoughts swarmed around the canvas of it and in any other moment you'd be relieved, but you yearned for them to speak to you, to tell you what move to make next.
Raking your fingers through your matted hair, you allowed yourself to fall apart, muffling your cries into the torn skirt of your grey gown that drowned your figure. The writhing muscles in your shoulders caused you no pain that you hadn't already felt, and so you ignored them and crawled to the altar, pulling the thin pillow and blanket from the cold surface, finding a place in the corner of the cell and curling into a ball atop of it.
"Please keep him safe," you asked the Mother in a hushed tone, fixating your gaze on the wall, on any place that wasn't the altar, "Please allow his pages to turn gently," a tear rolled down your cheek, "Please."
As if your prayer had reached the recipient, a soft breeze swirled at your lower back, seemingly fitting the blanket tighter around your wilting body, and you sighed. The Prison wasn't a place that anyone walked out of alive, and you knew that you were no exception to the eons old knowledge.
No sleep dared to coax you, there were no happy dreams that could soothe you, and all you could do was stare at the stone alter that had cooed to your will shrouded in darkness as the first branch of your mind cleaved in two.

hi!! i loved your overlord angel dust/husk art and i commented about potentially turning it into a fic and adding your art, which you consented to. i was wondering if you had any additional ideas to make it more than a oneshot, maybe they open a casino together with mafia roots, collect souls together, etc…once again, your art was amazing!!
Thank you so much, I would love a fic about my AU (人*´∀`)。*゚+
Here are other ideas about the story:
In this AU Angel didn't worked with Valentino, he and Arackniss reconciled before Angel could sign a contract with him
That is not to say Angel wasn't doing sex work, he would take all kinds of offers, from stripping to singing gigs, just for the money
Regarding the backstory of the spider brothers I haven't really fleshed it out but here are some points of it:
They had kind of a strained relationship even though they cared for each other, because Arackniss (or Andrew as I like to think) used to put down Anthony's dreams of becoming a performer like the drag queens he liked to see (in secret) in the gay bars the Mafia used to own back in the 30s (real history btw)
He did this in hopes he would give up, leave it all behind and live a 'normal' life, out of fear their dad would disown him, or worse, kill him
It wouldn't matter anyway because both of them would die together while doing a shady work for the mob (who started the shots? They couldn't really remember)
At the beginning of their afterlife Arackniss avoided Angel with the guilt that (according to him) it was his fault his little brother got shot in the eye. (He was too far, too late, he couldn't protect his brother and now he's dead because of him)
Cause of this angel thinks his brother hates him, but they eventually encounter during a turf war that went wrong
Arackniss sees Angel surrounded and not wanting to repeat his brothers death again, he saves him this time.
They sort things out, and become closer than ever
When Arackniss figures out what angel has been doing for money they decide to start doing mob work again, they're good and people start giving their loyalty and doing contracts with them because the brothers actually care about the souls they own, deciding to learn from their father's mistakes, they respect all of their workers
furthermore, Angel gains more influence because he gave the people he met while being a sex worker, safe and living conditions; every stripper, actor, performer wanted to work with him, and with all the contracts he made, became an overlord
On the other hand, arackniss does all the shady work, sticking to the shadows, not wanting any attention. He is very prod of angel, and becomes his right hand man
Other ideas and dynamics:
Angel calls arackniss An, Andy or niss
Arackniss calls angel Angie, Anni, or Anth. (He never really liked tony, that's what his father called him)
They love each other very much but they're still siblings, they bicker and fight all the time (all their goons are used to it at this point, unimpressed by the brothers shenanigans)
Valentino develops some sort of obsession with Angel after meeting him (this brings problems)
Angel fell first, husk fell harder
They kind of had an enemies to lovers (but not really, more like a rivalry bc angel likes to annoy the cat overlord for fun)
Molly is still in heaven in this AU, arackniss was able to shield her from the family business (he couldn't with angel though, That's part of his guilt)
She died of heart disease before the brothers death
Angel is the spoilt younger sibling
I haven't really thought about how him and husk get together but they will definitely become a power couple
I like the idea Angel performs at the casino
He sings, does drag, etc. (Maybe some pornos too, just for fun)
What caught husk's attention is that Angel cared a lot for the souls he owned, he treated them like the humans they are
That's all I have for now, I will make more art about this AU later, you can use it if you like, whether as reference or inspiration for the fic (*˘︶˘*).。*♡
Ik this is more about Angel and Arackniss but I really like to focus on their story. So regarding the huskerdust you can have fun with that as I don't have a lot of ideas

Genya x fem!reader who's the cousin of Mitsuri. The idea is that Mitsuri decides to be the wingwoman and set them up together. Genya is of course flustered and it doesn't help that y/n enjoys teasing him
Mitsuri's Cousin Headcanons
AN: Yes, I can! In fact, this proposal would be very interesting to see and I loved writing it! Hope you liked it <3
Synopsis: What would it be like for our dear Genya Shinazugawa to have an S/o who is the cousin of our beloved Mitsuri Kanroji?
Character: Genya Shinazugawa x Fem! Reader, Mitsuri Kanroji (mentioned), Sanemi Shinazugawa (mentioned)
Warnings: Spoilers, Romance, Fluffy, Comedy (?), Spoilers Season 3
Genya Shinazugawa
You are Mitsuri's dear cousin 3 years younger, who entered Demon Corp a while after her cousin and became her Tsugoku <3
The first time you saw Genya, you can't deny that you found his appearance a bit threatening, but that you soon ended up being attracted to the boy
Trying to get closer to Shinazugawa and not being successful, you ended up asking your cousin for help, and that's how Mitsuri cupid appeared
After the fight with Upper Moons 4 and 5 in Blacksmith Village, you finally got a chance to talk to the boy in the Butterfly Mansion
And unlike all expectations, Genya ended up showing that behind her serious face she had a shy mess that enchanted you <3
You always liked to annoy and tease others as a form of "affection", and Shinazugawa was no different (to our boy's dismay)
Because he is shy around women, he always tried to avoid interaction with them, and that became something really difficult with you around and trying to get close all the time
But after a long time of trying, you finally managed to have a date with him! Where, of course, Mitsuri would help prepare everything <3
To be honest, the Hashira of Love will be very present in the preparation of meetings, outings and other things like that, as well as in the evolution of your relationship
Until this "plan" of the two of you reached the ears of the boy's stressed and threatening older brother, the Hashira of Wind, Sanemi
And he would try at the same time to ruin the plans you and your cousin were making, to keep Genya from noticing it
However, he stopped doing that when he noticed that the younger Shinazugawa genuinely liked you, starting to make small comments about it
With the Hashira of Wind and Hashira of Love trying to get you together (both with different plans and ways, of course) it didn't take long before the declaration and the beginning of the relationship
You two were congratulated by your friends and even some Hashiras, with Mitsuri exposing her joy and pride to the world, while Sanemi reacted more discreetly
But even after you became a couple, your "dynamic" didn't change much, with you continuing the teasing (which now contained surprise kisses and hugs) and your darling boyfriend embarrassed as if it was the first time he heard you say it <3
Rest assured, many, many, MANY encounters! At any chance you will go out together, eat something in a small restaurant, walk around the city, or even just pick flowers and cook
Training together, Genya greatly admires your skill and flexibility for being able to use breath like Love, just as you admire his strength and completely uncanny ability to become an Oni
When one of you goes on a mission, it's almost a tradition for you to exchange letters and go on a date when you return, sometimes bringing each other gifts
Speaking of gifts, I expect many, many gifts, Genya just can't come back from a mission without giving you a gift
He is protective, Shinazugawa went through a lot as a child and is very afraid of losing you as well as his brothers and mother
Sanemi still acts rude to him whenever Genya tries to apologize, so when that happens he seeks comfort with you
Well, our boy is still shy even though you are a couple, but he is an amazing lover <3
AN: I hope you all like this! I really love write this <3

How you meet and fall in love ?? Fem reader x adult uryu
Maybe like rivals to lovers
Fluff plz
This is terrible and I apologize for it and the time it took 😭😭
Walking through the halls of the hospital, the sole of her shoes clacking against the cold white floor, she headed towards the director's office with a bag in her hand. She hoped sincerely that for once, her husband would have time to seat and eat, especially since she had put so much love into that dish she made for him. She remembered fondly the first time she bring him food at work, the blush on his cheeks, and those words he tried desperately to pronounce right.
But it hadn't always been that warm and loving between them, there was a time in their lives when both of them had trouble supporting the presence of each other. The first time they met was in school and she immediately despised the haughty side he seemed to give to everyone. For her, he was acting like he was better than everyone, always fighting with that orange-haired classmate of theirs. She always tried her best to avoid him, and when the two of them would eventually cross paths, she couldn't stop herself from giving a bad attitude, something he would respond with the same ardor.
But at that time, she didn't know she was in the wrong and that the man who repudiate her would become the most cherished person in her life. All it took was one bad day and a dangerous situation to make her judgment about him change. The day she was nearly erased from the surface of the earth when she encounter that gigantic weird creature with a mask on and all she could think was it was the end. But the light and darkness didn't come. Instead, her classmate was standing in front of her, a bow in his hand. Words wouldn't even come out of her mouth when he asked her if she was injured and didn't even protest when he carried her away from danger after her lack of response. Later after that day, she walked to school with some sweets in a cute box, wanting to thank her classmate for saving her, but also because of her misjudgment about him. To her surprise, he gladly accepted her gift and her excuses before talking to her about the classes they had that day and the upcoming exams.
From that day, both of them started to grow closer, and Uryu was the first one to make sure to never let her go from his side. A few days before his graduation, in the comfort of their cozy home, he kneel down on one knee in front of her and took out a red velvet box from his pocket. Stopping every movement she was making, she looked at him in shock when he opened the small box to let her eyes meet a beautiful engagement ring. Tears spilled down her cheeks, she kneeled down to his level before clasping her arms around his neck, leading him for a kiss.
Her thoughts were interrupted when she heard the sound of the door closing, her view going from her beautiful ring to her even more beautiful husband. His tired face lit up when he noticed her presence in his office, the food she prepared this morning perfectly set on the desk. A kiss on her temple and he seat down on his chair, grabbing his wife along, settling her on his lap. Still to this day, she couldn't believe how life has blessed her with such an incredible man.

Rather ship Clerith than a ship with a fanservice can can bunny being left a single mother so Cloud could stay in another woman's church. Ship with a woman who had an optional fanservice uth scene only for Cloud to hold Tifa in his arms while non optionally talking about wanting to meet Aerith in the promised land. Ship which Cloud hugged Tifa painfully in an optional scene and is described by ultimania as Cloud not caring about her feelings and only his ego, "a one night stand." Clerith canon Cloti optional fanservice
I will have to assume that either English is not your native language or ChatGPT was used to form this nonsense.
Cloti is a beautiful ship that one could call a definitive representation of childhood friends to lovers trope in video games. It is rooted in a promise under stars when Cloud and Tifa were kids. I'm failing to see how that scene can be taken as fanservice.
Cloud and Tifa have developed tremendous level of care for one another at early age. It was only natural for them to grow closer in the future. Sometimes bonds become even tighter after years of parting. During that period two people can really feel that they are missing something or someone and once reunited they encounter that feeling of wholeness, as if like necesarry missing pieces were set in place.
So it is no wonder that once Cloud is reuinted with Tifa, one of the first things he does is giving her a flower that lovers gift each other when they are reunited.
Now that they are both of proper age when they can find each other romantically attractive and understand it, it shouldn't be a surprise that Cloud shows initiative in a kiss scene. After all, he is the kind of character whose actions speak louder than words.
Now I would like you to take a moment and consider how all I did was just briefly describe why Cloti is beautiful ship. I had no need to bash another ship to prove something, because my OTP in FF7 has enough substance to stand on its own feet. Because real Cloud resurfaces only around Tifa and real Cloud is the only one that should concern you if you truly like the character.
Is Tifa gorgeous and sexy? Objectively - yes. I did not design the character. It is not my fault that a female character of good nature, with kind heart, sweet personality, badass fighting skills and narrative connection with a loved one has ample bosom. But please believe me when I tell you that female character's body is the very last reason I would ship her with a favorite male character. If there is no story, no chemistry, nothing in common between characters, then I don't see a reason why anyone would ship something so hollow. But that's just me.

Some more crossover ship art of the Harbinger and Accursed Crack ship featuring Aris and my Harbinger Thuban from @justpked Beyond the Spider Lilies and Fell Star.
As much as I love the potential romance of two terrifying single parents falling in love and combining their families, their courtship would be awkward as hell. PK has confirmed that Aris doesn't know how to flirt and has zero dating experience despite the fact that he has two potential suitors in the game, Prince Intira and Canna. Likewise, Thuban may be charming and has probably had her share of lovers during her long lifetime, I headcanon she had a very on and off again relationship with Death and their is definitely some romantic history with Meidh. She hasn't dated anyone in over a couple of thousand years, so lbr Thuban would be very out of touch with the dating scene as well.
Can you just imagine the both of them trying to ask for dating advice? The best suggestions are probably coming from the kids. I could easily see Shian and my MC, Seleni, becoming the best of friends and would definitely want to become siblings for real when they notice their parents start "like liking" each other.
Tbh Aris, the most successful dates with Thuban are just taking evening walks together in the garden after the kids are asleep. Both of them just enjoy each other's company sharing conversation and a bottle of wine. Just the casual intimate moments where they can forget they're royalty or the an omen of the void, and genuinely joke, share stories, and gradually grow closer emotionally. Possibly some physical gestures of affection like hand holding, kissing, and affectionate biting...what Thuban is still a Beast in her true Abyssal form a bit of playful nipping is a common form of affection for many animals. Besides, Thuban needs to tease Aris back for biting her during their first encounter. Granted, they thought that the other was a potential threat at first, and Thuban did disarm him, tbh she wasn't even that mad she was impressed Aris had the audacity to try biting the Harbinger of Calamity with his blunt human teeth while fighting for his life.

Smith's Grove has always been a dreadful place. It was filled with mentally ill patients who were never treated the way they should've been. You were a patient that had been admitted just about a year ago, and you had gotten to know very quickly of the people around you. Some were just exhausted people with mental illnesses like yourself who couldn't really harm anyone, then there were the others; the patients that could try and kill guards if they had an episode. There was one in particular that always caught everyone's eyes: michael myers. Not only was the man a gaint, but he could easily snap a guards neck and escape easily if he wanted. Honestly, you had wondered why he didn't.
You never thought of the man as something more than just another patient, until things started getting rough in the institute. After about 6 months of you being at the hospital, you realised how crazy and violent some of the patients could be. Yes, many of them were harmless, but there were a select few that really terrified you. Once, you were eating your lunch silently when you noticed a fight break out in the cafeteria between patients and the men had ran into you while fighting each other and you actually got scratched up. It could've been worse, but you realized it wouldn't be that much of an easy breeze through this place.
One day, you had seen michael sitting alone when you were let outside during physical recess. You were surprised that they had even let him out at all, although he was still heavily guarded and restrained. You watched him from afar, seeing him jut sitting at a bench and staring at the ground. You wondered what went on in his mind to get him that way, so deep in thought. All of the other patients were either too violent or too delusional, something about michael intrigued you. Once you realized you weren't getting out of here anytime soon, you decided to try something risky. You walked over towards where michael was sitting. The guards kept their eyes heavily on you as their fingers had a hold on their batons, wondering if you had intended to hurt michael or if he was going to hurt you. You didn't exactly pay attention to them as you took a step in front of him, nervously scratching your fingers together in front of your stomach. Anxiously, you turned and took a seat down next to him on the bench. "Hello." You spoke in a raspy voice, almost inaudible. You didn't expect him to respond, he never did. It was about 30 seconds after you had sat down that he slowly shifted his eyes from staring at the ground to look at you. He had his mask on still but you could see his eyes peering at you through strands of his long hair. You gulped loudly before turning your head to look away from him as he kept his eyes fixated on you, still silent. This was your first encounter with michael myers.
About a couple weeks after this first encounter, you had tried to become closer to michael. Any sane person would've thought you were insane, well you were in a mental hospital. Whenever you had seen miichael in the cafeteria you'd try and say hello to him or maybe even start up a conversation if you felt like it. He would never respond, but you had a feeling that he was listening to every word that you were saying. Or maybe he wasn't and you were just delusional, you didn't know. Either way, you still spoke to him and tried to show him that you were trying to be 'friends'. You never knew if he reciprocated the feelings, in fact you doubted the idea that he did.
One day, you were sitting in the recreation room when micheal had walked in, bound in handcuffs and surrounded by guards. Surprisingly, instead of sitting at a remote table he sat at the same table you were sitting at. You were shocked at his action but it had brought a smile to your face. His eyes kept forward as he laid his palms on the table. As you got up to leave and go back to your rooms, you walked next to michael. As you walked, you tried to grab onto his cardigan and hold onto while walking. You excepted him to push you off or shake you away, but he actually complied and walked with you. You smiled as you held his cardigan in your hand tightly as you walked.
From then on out, you had held onto michael whenever you felt like you needed the comfort. Also, it was nice to hide behind him whenever a fight would break out knowing damn well that no one would mess with him. The more days that you decided to latch onto him, the more comfortable he became with it. After while instead of just being stiff, he would eventually softly lay a large hand on your back, almost as a way of reassuring you. It was nice to have michael on your side, he made to feel safe and protected.

Close Encounter

❧
PAIRING: Raditz/Reader RATING: Mature CONTENTS: Canon Divergence AU, Romance, Some fluff. WORDCOUNT: 4368
Summary:
If Raditz didn’t realize how in love with him you were, it was probably because he had never experienced romantic love. You were being more than obvious about it without explicitly telling him, you were almost embarrassed. Almost. Which was why you dreaded the oncoming day of the Saiyans arrival, which seemed to be getting closer faster than you expected.
Notes:
I've been too lazy to upload this here. All chapters are on AO3 already!
You had no idea what to expect the day after, but things seemed to be somewhat how they used to be before you had sex with him. Raditz spent most of the day outside, training (you could tell he was trying to strengthen his tail since that was his weak point in his last battle, or so he said), and he only came in the house to eat. You expected him to be a little handsy, especially after that last conversation, but he didn’t touch you.
Until almost a week later, after dinner, when you were done washing the dishes, and he explicitly told you that he wanted you. You asked him for a little courting (you had already said yes in your head, but you wanted to know what he would come up with), and his response was basically describing what he’d imagine doing to you in vivid detail right before kissing you with a passion that made you dizzy. That kind of response was probably not in the definition of ‘courting’, but it created goosebumps on your skin nonetheless.
Needless to say, you ended up bent over your bed as Raditz ate you out first, before pushing his cock inside you, fucking you so hard you were left speechless.
It turned into a pattern; things were normal without any kind of intimate or sexual exchange for some days, until one day he would seek you out. You were more than willing every time, but as time went by it was starting to confuse you. Especially as time went on, the gap in between each encounter began to reduce. Whatever situationship you had, it was starting to resemble an actual relationship, though you wouldn’t label it as such simply because neither of you talked about feelings.
But you knew yourself well. It was becoming clearer and clearer that not only did you find him attractive, but you were starting to have feelings for him as well. It was obvious from the start, but you were starting to accept it. He seemed interested in trying to understand human customs, and if you didn’t know any better, he seemed to be doing it for you, which warmed your heart.
His kisses at the most unexpected times certainly did not help how you were feeling, especially because he would grab you at random moments (he seemed to like to scare you at times, even) during the day, like when you were cooking or doing laundry, turning you to him and kissing you until you were breathless before walking away, leaving you panting and disoriented.
You weren’t sure if Bulma’s plan was working or not, because while Raditz seemed a little mellowed out, you were starting to be a little biased towards him. And you still didn’t know what he would do once the other Saiyans got to Earth, and you were afraid to ask.
You looked at Raditz from the kitchen window one day while he was training, he was doing upside down hanging crunches (you did not understand why he had to do that without a shirt on, and it was just the warm up routine), and you wondered how much stronger was he planning to get and why. He wanted to fight when the Saiyans got there, that was for sure, but on which side? Bulma had told you Saiyans (including himself) wiped out populations of entire planets to then sell them to intergalactic clients. Would he want to go back to that kind of life? He did look comfortable living with you, but you knew that place wasn’t nearly as exciting as traveling through the galaxy (as sadistic as his life in space might have been).
Since it was less than six months until their arrival, you knew you had to think about that, but you didn’t want to. You didn’t want him to fight at all. Since Goku died (and apparently, the guy was like Jesus or something), everyone was waiting for him to come back and somehow defeat the Saiyans, but Bulma told you that him and Piccolo could barely stand their ground against Raditz, who was supposedly the weakest out of the three Saiyans. Why would it be any different in six months?
You must have been staring way too much, because Raditz turned to you then, and smirked. You weren’t ogling but that was what it looked like. You rolled your eyes when he chuckled, sighing loudly once he went back to his routine.
You were starting to hate getting involved in that whole thing.
But you had to talk to him.
“I know you are training really hard.” You said that night during dinner.
Raditz was basically devouring an entire chicken, and you tried not to smile at his lack of manners. You wanted to bring up a serious question for once. You waited until he swallowed before speaking again.
“What do you plan on doing? Once the Saiyans get here.”
His eyes settled on yours with a hardened gaze. He had never looked at you like that, and it made you nervous, but you kept talking.
“I deserve to know.” When he didn’t answer you went on. “You are gonna fight, but with them? …Against them?”
“I won’t fight against them.” He finally answered, still staring at you with cold eyes.
“Are you going to kill everyone on this planet then?”
“Not everyone.”
You frowned. You knew he meant you, but it didn’t feel right at all when he said it.
“So you’re gonna keep me alive, but kill everyone else?”
“This is who I am.” He replied, his voice growing louder. “You seem to be having a hard time understanding that I came here to recruit my brother so we could exterminate the species of another planet. My blood boils for violence.”
You were taken aback, and you stared at him, mouth agape.
“Apparently you have deluded yourself into believing I’m something I’m not. Maybe you have to believe that in order to sleep with me.”
You glared at him, offended by his last comment, but knowing that what he was saying was not all true.
“No. I know you’re not as bad as you say you are.” You swallowed and inhaled deeply, trying to keep your emotions in check before speaking again. “You don’t even notice the things that you’ve done since you got here and how much you changed. A cruel person wouldn’t cuddle with me like you had, or even touch me as softly as you had… You even brought me flowers…”
“Don’t be ridiculous.”
His eyes seemed to be turning colder the second the conversation dragged on and you were starting to regret ever bringing this up.
“I do those things for you. But I have no attachment to this planet. You helped me heal and I’m in debt with you for that.”
“It was all to pay me back then? You don’t care about me?”
“I care, that’s why I want you to come with me once we are done with this place!”
“Are you listening to yourself?!” It was your turn to raise your voice, and you couldn’t remain seated anymore. “You want me to leave with you willingly after you kill my species? My parents, my friends? Are you insane?!”
“I’ve been alone all my life, you’ll be fine.”
That comment actually hurt, but you were hurting for him. All you knew about his past was because Bulma told you because Raditz had told them small details when he went looking for Goku. But he never told you anything. Furthermore, you never even asked.
“Were you happy, being alone?” You asked after a minute of silence. He was still glaring at you, but you didn’t want to look him in the eye. “You must have known your parents, don’t you miss them? And you didn’t even get to know your brother, but he seems like the best guy for what people tell me, wouldn’t you have liked to get to know him?”
“Enough!”
Raditz stood up then, banging his fist on the table, startling you. The hairs on his tail were bristling, and he was growling; he looked intimidating, but you weren’t afraid of him.
“I don’t care about your human sentimentality.”
“That’s not true. I’ve seen how you watch those stupid shows I watch, as sappy as they might be. I know you listen to my conversations with my parents on the phone. I’ve noticed and I’ve seen your eyes. You’re not as cold as you say you are.”
“Believe what you want. I’m taking you with me once we are done with this miserable planet.”
You felt tears pricking your eyes as you glared at him. You were angry, hurt, upset and offended all at once, and it was starting to come out.
“I will hate you if you do that.”
“Will you? You don’t hate me right now, after everything I said?” He sneered.
You remained silent, your bottom lip trembling as you tried not to continue this conversation any further.
“You’re pathetic.” He jeered.
“Get out of my house.”
You were staring daggers at each other, and it felt like an eternity until he actually turned away.
“You don’t need to tell me twice.”
“Get out!”
As Raditz walked out, you threw a cushion from the couch towards the door, making a soft ‘thud’ once it hit it before falling on the floor. You muffled a scream with both your hands and stomped your foot on the floor. His words hurt more than you expected, even if you truly believed that he wasn’t as cold as he said he was. Still, you felt stupid for even having feelings for him, and you tried to fight off the tears threatening to fall any minute.
The entrance door opened again after a few seconds, and you were startled when Raditz walked in. You were surprised but you still glared at him as he walked decisively towards you. He wasn’t glaring at you anymore, and his eyes had a clear look that you couldn’t decipher. You took a step back and tried to speak, but no words came out as he kept getting closer to you.
You gasped when he wrapped his arms around your waist, pulling you closer and capturing your lips in a kiss, a soft kiss that you would never have expected, especially in that moment. You froze, unsure of what to do, but his lips were gently gliding over yours, and you couldn’t help returning the kiss for a few seconds before coming back to yourself and pushing your hands against his shoulders. Raditz didn’t even seem to care, and he brought you even closer, sliding a hand up your back.
You tried to fight him off with frail attempts, clenching your fists and hitting his shoulders, even tugging at his hair, but you were nothing against him. And as the kiss dragged on, you were starting to melt into it. You gave up after a moment, finally submitting to him and kissing him back.
“I want you.” He whispered against your lips.
He had those exact words before, but it sounded different at that moment.
“You don’t.”
You felt one tear fall down your cheek, and you tried to wipe it off quickly, not wanting Raditz to see you cry, but he noticed and ran his thumb over your cheek first.
“You want to force me to be with you but that’s…”
‘That’s not love’ were the next words, but you shut your mouth.
He remained quiet, only sighing against your lips before kissing you again. You wrapped your arms tightly around his shoulders, returning the kiss momentarily.
“I don’t want you to fight.”
Raditz pulled away then, staring at you with curious eyes.
“You had a hole in your chest last time…”
His eyes softened for a brief moment before he captured your lips against his again.
There was nothing left for either of you to say.
His tail held your waist just as he grabbed your thighs, pulling you up so you could wrap your legs around him. And you did just that as he started walking towards your bedroom, kissing you fervently.
While Raditz made it clear that he was fond of you somehow, none of the questions you had about what would happen in a few months were really answered. You were sure he wasn’t the man he said he was, though. He was tough and arrogant, but not bad.
When Bulma called you some days later, asking how things were going, you didn’t know exactly what to say. She called you regularly to check on you, and you told her what you could (leaving out the part that you were having sex with him often and that you had feelings for him), but that time you were unsure about what you could tell her.
Yes, Raditz cares about me, but he still wants to join his alien buddies and commit genocide.
Not a good thing to say.
You ended up just telling her what you always told her, everything was fine and Raditz was still being decent with you. Nothing weird.
The only thing you could do was what you have been doing so far; just being there and bond with him. So you started asking him about his life, since all you knew was hearsay. You did it slowly and just one or two questions at a time. Sometimes he answered, sometimes he didn’t. When you asked him about his parents, he didn’t say anything, and by the look on his face, you figured he must have missed them. He did tell you about the destruction of his home planet when he was just five years old. He told you some stories of when he grew up with Vegeta and Nappa, the other two Saiyans left, and you found them brutal but he didn’t even seem bothered by what he went through.
In exchange, sometimes he would wonder about your life, and you told him whatever you could think of. He almost never explicitly asked you anything, but you picked up on his clues about what he wanted to know. You were the one who bombarded him with your own questions, and he seemed amused at times, when he didn’t mind replying.
What Raditz told you about his race was the thing that surprised you the most, yet you couldn’t get enough of the stories about them. And he seemed keen on talking about it, so it was an easy topic you could bring up. The fact that all Saiyans had tails was fascinating, and even more so when he told you that they could transform into what he called Great Apes because of it, as long as there was a full moon.
“Can I see it one day?” You asked, lying beside him on your bed with your head on his chest.
“No.” When he noticed your pout, he clarified. “I lose all reason when I’m in that form. I might kill you and not even realize it until it’s too late.”
“Oh.”
You didn’t press the matter further, eyeing his tail wrapped tightly around your waist before running your fingers through it. Raditz hummed when you stroked the appendage, but after a while he told you to stop.
“Why?”
“You’re stimulating me.”
“Oh…” You looked underneath the sheets and chuckled. “Sorry?”
“Don’t be.” He smirked, running his hand down your back.
“Does that happen all the time?”
“No, it depends on my mood. If I’m tired and you caress it, you’ll probably make me fall asleep.”
“Aren’t you tired right now?”
“We just fucked and you’re naked next to me, there are other pressing matters.” He leered at you, completely unashamed, and you snickered when he pulled you closer. “You should take care of this, since you started it.”
Raditz moved to lie on top of you, but you pushed him against the mattress with one hand on his chest. You figured out by then that he was letting you push him whenever he wanted. He was probably turned on by it, if you had to guess.
“It’s my fault now, huh?” You smiled mischievously, straddling his hips. “I guess I should take responsibility.”
You kissed him briefly, before trailing your lips down his neck, focusing on his chest and abs before slowly dipping lower.
Bulma called you one day, almost two months before the supposed due date, asking you again how things were, and reminding you again of their arrival (as if you didn’t have it on your mind at all times). She let you know that she’ll be staying at Kame House in a few weeks, and if anything happens, you should get there. You thanked her before hanging up, and wondered if you could convince Raditz not to fight in those two months you had left.
He didn’t seem like he would relent though; he would train as soon as he woke up until very late at night. You didn’t even know what kind of training he did, he usually flew to some faraway place. You stopped worrying about him not coming back a long time ago, and luckily he had always returned. And since he started coming back well into the night, sometimes he would sneak in bed with you, once you were asleep.
You didn’t know what to think of that. Sometimes Raditz would wake you up and you two would have sex; other times he simply slept next to you. And sometimes, he would go to his room. But those were becoming less and less frequent. He practically slept with you every night.
Would all that be enough? He seemed more at ease than ever when he was home with you. Would he have changed?
You were terrified, and he must have noticed. You didn’t want to talk about it, and he didn’t bring it up. Whenever you talked to him, you tried to keep the conversation light and superficial, which was probably what was giving you away. He didn’t comment on it, and you were grateful.
When one day the sky turned black in the middle of the day, you froze. They couldn’t have arrived, nearly a month earlier, could they?
Raditz had gone training early in the morning, so he wasn’t home, and Bulma hadn’t called you at all. You didn’t exactly know what to do or what had even happened, and you were grateful when Bulma called you, finally, almost an hour later.
“The Saiyans will be getting here tomorrow!”
You froze.
“But you said-”
“I know what I said, but trust me. We just brought Goku back to life.”
You sighed loudly, feeling anxiety bubbling up inside you.
“What’s Raditz gonna do?”
“I… I don’t know…”
You heard Bulma breathe on the other side of the line, but neither of you said anything for a minute.
“You like him, don’t you?”
You snorted. You were a little surprised, but you knew she would figure it out at some point without you telling her. When you didn’t answer, she went on.
“Hopefully he likes you enough too, so he doesn’t turn into our enemy again.”
“You make it sound like I’m barely likable.” You chuckled lightly, and she laughed softly in response. “Bulma… I’m scared…”
Her breath hitched, and she tried to reassure you with a shaky voice.
“Don’t be. Goku is going to save us and the Earth, you’ll see! You’ll get to meet him once this is all over, and we’ll even have a party too! Since it’s been a while since I had one.”
“You’re right.” You smiled softly, and cleared your throat before talking again. “You’re staying at Kame House, yeah? I’ll… go there tomorrow…”
“Okay! I’ll see you tomorrow then!”
She hung up after that, and you stared at the phone for a while.
Their arrival was a month earlier than expected. You hadn’t sorted out any thought or feeling you were having and now you only had a day. You were going to have to tell Raditz about this too, and he would leave…
You got up and turned to head to the living room, but you froze when you saw Raditz standing there, just a couple of feet away from you.
“They are getting here tomorrow, is that what your friend told you?” He asked, with a chillingly clear expression. “And they just brought my brother back to life, didn’t they?”
You nodded. He probably heard everything anyway, there was no point in denying it.
Raditz didn’t say anything in response, but he seemed to be in deep thought for a while. And you didn’t know what to say. You wanted to tell him again that you didn’t want him to fight at all. Just to try to change his mind. Deep down, you knew there was no point.
Neither of you said anything for the rest of the day. You stared at him practically all the time until it was time to sleep, and you were glad he decided to sleep with you that night. Pressing you against the mattress, he kissed you slowly yet ardently the entire time, whispering words that you weren’t sure were in English. You clung to him until you actually fell asleep. He didn’t seem to mind, or if he did, he never showed it.
You watched Raditz get changed the next day after breakfast. His armor (you asked Bulma to repair it, as a favor for you more than him, and she built a new one almost identical instead) along with the rest of his clothes were with you when you came back home months ago. He seemed hesitant to put it on, but he did anyway.
“I don’t want you to go.”
You didn’t realize you were frowning until he turned to you with a similar expression on his face.
“As if you could stop me.” He scorned, but his voice lacked any kind of real disdain in it.
“I know I can’t. But I can try.”
Raditz rose to his full height after he put on his boots, and you stood next to the bedroom doorway, letting him walk right past you.
“I know you told me you were going to fight with the Saiyans, and I don’t know if you changed your mind or not, and I don’t want to know either. But isn’t it dangerous? You said you liked fighting, but you could die. I mean, you almost did! Aren’t you afraid?”
You were basically talking to his back as you followed him into the living room, watching his hair flow behind him, but he didn’t reply to any of your words.
“I don’t understand your race, I know that, but you were so close to dying! I’m sure that’s not your definition of ‘fun’! This is not even your fight, didn’t your brother say he would fight them?”
“He has Saiyan blood.” Raditz finally turned to you with a stern expression. “That’s why he wants to fight. And that’s why I want to fight as well.”
When you locked eyes with him, you got the feeling he wanted to say more. But he didn’t.
“Don’t you like it here?” You took a step closer to him, pleading with your eyes. “I know living here is not nearly as exciting as space traveling, but… I like having you here.”
“It’s… nice.” He offered you a half smile. “But I can’t stay here forever.”
“Yes you can! I want you to stay here! With me!”
“Why?”
“What do you mean why?! Am I not obvious enough?”
His smile grew a little, but he turned towards the front door. Desperate, you ran to his side and put your hand on his arm, gripping it hard.
“Don’t go! Please! I can’t believe you’re making me beg!”
You glared at him when he chuckled.
“As if making you beg was difficult.”
If the circumstances were different, you would have blushed.
“I don’t want you to fight. Stay here.”
“You are not gonna drop this, are you?” Raditz asked, obviously amused.
“No! I don’t understand why you even want to do this!”
Sighing loudly, he opened the door and stepped out of the house, shrugging off your hand effortlessly.
“Are you not even gonna say anything to me? After spending almost a year in my house?” You snarled.
Raditz turned to face you once more, still smiling, and you growled at his expression.
“Do you think it’s funny I’m practically on my knees, asking you to stay?”
“Yes.” He grinned.
“You’re the worst. I don’t even…” You trailed off, meeting his gaze.
Anxiety was making your stomach turn, and you had the need to say everything that was on your mind, but grabbing the right words was difficult.
“Is that all? I’ll leave now.”
“Wait, Raditz, I… I love you, okay?! That’s the reason I want you to stay! I’m really in love with you, and I’m not sure you even understand what that means! And meeting you was crazy and everything that’s happening right now is crazy! And you are insane! I can’t even believe you actually want to go through this after-”
Raditz looked at you with a wide smirk on his face, his complacent expression only growing as you went on until he cut you off by wrapping an arm around your waist and kissing you abruptly.
A surprised noise escaped you but you kissed him back instantly, cupping his face in your hands, returning the urgency in his lips. The moment seemed to last forever, and you lost yourself in it, enjoying the way his tongue softly glided against yours.
When he pulled away and in the blink of an eye, he took a step back and launched into the sky.
“No! NO!”

Hello there
This one is a bit lengthy but can i please get headcanons of the straw hats reaction to an admiral reader(gender neutral please) who quits the marine to join them, and is at first is distrusted but does something to gain theirs trust
I hope it's not too much trouble
It's no trouble at all! I really like this idea, it was a ton of fun to write! I hope you enjoy it ^^
Luffy:
He found you during a fight with the marines
He noticed...you were so much stronger than the marines you were fighting with
Maybe not strong in comparison to Luffy...but he was extremely powerful so comparing to him isn’t fair
He saw you deal what should have been a finishing blow to his crewmates…
But for some reason you never hit them hard enough to kill them
Down them, sure...but never kill
He makes quick work of the other marines, and approaches you with a smile
“Join my crew!”
You looked at him baffled
“Quit the marines and throw away all my hard work to become an admiral because some...kid thinks I would be a good match for his crew? No thanks.”
Luffy left it at that, but knew he’d see you again soon
You encountered him once more at a nearby island
“Is...is that offer still on the table?”
He grinned wide and pulled you by your hand to his ship
He couldn’t put his finger on it...but something was special about you
He just knew the crew would love you
After they get over their initial distrust that is
But Luffy? He trusted you already
No hesitation, he knew you had a good heart and that’s what really mattered
Zoro:
He didn’t trust you...at all
He would go silent when you talked to him, giving you the silent treatment
He didn’t trust the marines...how was he supposed to know you weren’t there as a spy?
You tried to talk to him a couple times...but he just pretended he was sleeping
One day, he was up in the crow’s nest training and you walked in
“Mind if we spar? It’s been a while since I was able to.”
Since you left the marines
He huffed but gave a firm “sure”
He didn’t go easy on you, which surprised him when you handled yourself fairly well
You parried his attacks, and gave a few good jabs of your own
He respected your strength
He still won...but he expected to beat you within seconds
Not minutes, nearly half an hour of sparring
From then on, he’ll make small talk with you
Every once in a while he’ll go to take a nap and he’ll pull you down to lay beside him
He also sits next to you at the dinner table, even helping you fend off Luffy when he tries to steal your food
Overall...he respected strength. And if Luffy chose you...you were here to stay
Once he starts to trust you, he’ll protect you at all costs
Nami:
She trusts Luffy’s decision...but that doesn't mean she has to trust YOU
She won’t go out of her way to be mean...but she won’t help you if it means bending over backwards
She interrogates you, wanting to know why Luffy had chosen you
After days of interrogation on and off...she thinks she sees why
You were unhappy in the marines
Sure...you managed to become an admiral...but the happiness you had hoped to feel just wasn’t there
She discovered that in the short time you’ve been on this ship, you’ve felt happier than you ever did in the marines
She’ll be nicer after that, slowly building up her trust in you
“Want me to show you how I chart the islands we go to?”
Even if cartography wasn’t your thing, you figured it would help get you closer to Nami
After that, you would spend hours upon hours with Nami
She can be very...very protective
So once she trusts you, any comments about you that weren’t warranted she’d defend you
She wants to get closer to you, and spends the majority of her time with you
Either sitting on the deck or working on her maps
She even tells Sanji off if he starts to bother you, making the hearts in his eyes break
She’ll protect you...and she knows in her heart you’d protect her too
Usopp:
He is so...so scared of you at first
You were an ADMIRAL
How could you just give up that position to join a crew?
Doesn’t trust you for a good long while
He’s convinced you’re a spy
He lets his imagination get to him, and that drives a wedge between you two
You don’t blame him...the situation is sketchy, but you were genuine
You would spend all the time needed to get the crew to trust you
After only being with them a short period of time...you trusted them with your life
And that’s never happened before
In the marines...people wouldn’t go out of their way to save another if it meant getting hurt in the process
During battle, you stepped in front of Usopp and took a harsh blow, forming a long slash across your chest
After that...he’s significantly nicer to you
He visits you in the infirmary and looks...troubled
“What’s wrong Usopp?” You give him a concerned look
“Why?”
“Why what?”
“Why did you save me...you’re hurt now. Because of me.”
You smiled at him...so he did care
This was a good first step
Maybe eventually you can become even closer
Sanji:
He’s reluctant to trust you at first, but Luffy seems to see something in you…
Just like he saw something in him
So he tries to get closer to you, even going so far as to not flirt with you
Not until he got to know you better
The first time he really began to see the trust between you building was a regular day
Nothing particularly special about it, except you went into the kitchen while he was cooking
“Mind if I help?” It was your attempt to get closer to him
“Of course! Here, I need this mixed.”
You cooked together in relative silence, small talking every once in a while
Overall it was...nice
It was a bonding experience and he cherished it
That day, he sat next to you at the dinner table
You gave him a wide smile, which he returned
He would defend you to anyone who spoke ill of you after that
He could be quite protective, and it showed
Especially to Zoro, who made comments about your being a spy (which only made Usopp and Chopper panic more about the situation)
“Hey marimo! They don’t deserve the bullshit you’re throwing at them. Back off.”
“What are you gonna do about it, shitty cook?” A smirk formed on Zoro’s face
Oh dear...it looks like they’re fighting again
You went to speak up, but Nami stopped you
“They get like this sometimes. Though it’s impressive how quick Sanji was to take the bait this time...I think he likes you.” She gives you a wink and your face flushes
Who knows what the future will bring...all you know? Is that you made the right choice to join this crew
Chopper:
He wants to trust you...he really does
But the nagging fear of you hurting his crew is at the back of him mind
He avoids you, not wanting to risk getting hurt
Once you get injured in battle...he realizes how unfair it was that he did so
“I’m sorry y/n...you’re hurt. Please follow me to the infirmary.”
He keeps it relatively formal, only talking when he needed to do something to check on you
“Would you...come back in a couple days so I can check on the wound and how it’s healing?”
You gave him a smile “yes doctor! Thank you!”
“Hehe you don’t have to thank me I don’t deserve your thanks I was just doing what I’d do for any of our crew!” He swayed back and forth, his paws on his face as he smiled
You could swear you saw flowers around him…
After that, he invited you to play games with him, Usopp, and Luffy
While Usopp was still reluctant, Luffy was 100% on board
“Come on y/n! Play with us!” Chopper smiled up at you and...well...there’s no way you could say no to his adorable face
So you joined in
It was fun...more fun than you thought possible to have
You laughed as Chopper tagged you, and you spun around picking him up in a hug
“Chopper...thank you.”
He smiled and laughed, “for what? Tagging you?”
You shook your head, putting him down
“No...for being a good friend.”
And he was, he was your best friend. You grew closer to him in the days following and you were certain you made the right decision
Robin:
She knows what it’s like to not be trusted by the crew initially...but at least with her it was one pirate to another
You were a marine
And not just a marine...but an admiral
She is reluctant to trust you, but will give you the benefit of the doubt
She spends a lot of time with you, gauging if you’re a threat to her crew or not
She would sacrifice herself for any one of them...you’re no exception
She almost thinks its her JOB to determine if you’re a threat or not
It wasn’t until your first battle together that she finds she trusts you
You give her a look, and she knows to use her devil’s fruit
You both coordinate perfectly together, and it shows your trust
She has only battled so flawlessly with her crew...which means you’re entirely one of them now
She will defend you from that fight forward, and stands up for you when the others express their doubts
“Y/n? Would you like to read with me?” She pats the spot next to her and smiled at you
“Of course! What are we reading today?”
The two of you grow closer and closer, spending hours upon hours just...enjoying each other’s company
She looks at your smile and knows...she would do anything to keep that happy smile on your face
Franky:
He doesn’t trust you...but he doesn’t...NOT trust you
He’s reluctant to get close, but finds it’s really easy with you
He’s newer to the crew, but he trusts Luffy’s judgement
So he doesn’t have any reason not to give you a chance
He’ll spend time with you, requesting you sit in his workroom as he works on a specialized weapon for you
Over that time, you make a lot of small talk
It brings you closer together
“Y/n! What do you think?” He’ll say holding up your now finished weapon “Pretty super, right? Don’t you just love it?” He has a look of pride on his face that makes you grin
You take the weapon into your hands and feel the weight is perfect
Not light, but not overly heavy either
“Thank you Franky!” You jump up to hug him and miss seeing his face turn a dark crimson
“O-of course! Anything for a crewmate!” He hugs you back, lightly as if he’s afraid he’ll break you
This makes you laugh, “Franky...I was an admiral remember? I won’t break from a hug!”
“Well then...take this!” He lifts you up, spinning you around in circles
You both laugh, pulling each other closer and closer
Once he sets you down you see the fleeting color of pink on his cheeks
You were sure your face mirrored the same color
He knows in that moment he would protect you
Even if you didn’t need it
Maybe...protect isn’t the right word
It sounds so...one sided
“I’ll protect you...will you protect me?” He looks sheepish, almost as if he hated asking
You lean up and kiss his cheek
“I’ll protect you Franky. I’ll protect all of us...this crew...it’s special.”
He nods, knowing exactly what you meant
“Then we’ll protect each other.”
And it was settled
Brook:
As soon as you stepped onto the ship he approached you
“Your name is y/n...correct?”
“Yup! That’s me!”
He leaned down so your…”eyes” were level with each other
“Can I see your panties?”
SLAP
“...is that a no?”
It’s safe to assume...he doesn’t judge you for being an admirable
Though seeing some of the crew be distant from you...it only motivates him to speak to you more
You looked tired after playing with the crew on deck, so he approached you
“Would you like me to play you a song to help you sleep?”
You stared wide eyed, not knowing he was the musician on the ship
“Sure! Would you...maybe be able to teach me how to play an instrument?”
“Which instrument would you like to learn?”
You hummed, “I’m not sure. I’ll get back to you on that.”
And so he played you a song
It put not only you, but Luffy, Usopp, and Chopper to sleep
He would have grinned if he could, and looked over his crewmates with love
As he finished the song he looked at you once again
“Sleep well y/n...I’ll see you tomorrow.”

A Matter of Admiration Alpha Gang Orca x Omega f!Reader
Hello Hello! Here is my very VERY late submission for the SFW portion of Spudcorner's Valentine Blood and Chocolate Collab. This was meant to be a two page drabble. 13 pages later it's a bit more than that. Regardless, I do hope you enjoy!
Sequel/Epilogue Here
Content Warnings- Omegaverse, SFW, Insecurities, Misunderstandings, Pining, Fluff, Lots of food mentioned, Kugo being very down on himself, very minor mention of blood and stitches needed.
“Really? Again?”
The large alpha seemed to shrink under your judgemental glare.
“I am sorry, Y/N. The fight got intense and it slipped off. Someone must have stepped on it.”
You sighed heavily, your gaze turning to the workbench where the shattered remains of your creation sat. This was your seventh attempt at outfitting Gang Orca with a communicator headset. It was dangerous for him to keep fishing for a handheld during the heat of battle. Unfortunately, his lack of outer ear made keeping a headset on him difficult. Shaking your head, you gave a small smile.
“Not your fault, Sakamata. We knew this was going to be tricky. Though at this rate I’m tempted to just glue a headset on you and call it a day.”
Kugo snorted, his posture relaxing. “I wouldn’t blame you if you did. I hate to see your hard work go to waste.”
“It’s not a waste if I learn something from it. This one lasted a couple weeks of normal patrol work, so that’s an improvement. We just need to figure out what was different about this fight. So, sit. Talk.”
Kugo shook his head with an amused huff. He admitted he had been slightly dubious when you had first come to his agency. He’d encountered many hero support workers claiming to specialize in mutation quirks that seemed to be looking for lab rats for their creations. However, you always listened to what he said, and made suggestions that would actually make his job easier. You made sure your support items not only were functional, but comfortable at well. If the few years you had worked for him, he was pleased to say you had become good friends.
“I can’t right now, Y/N. I need to get cleaned up, then complete my report before I forget the details. I’ll come back first thing tomorrow.” You frowned, tapping your foot. Kugo fought to keep a neutral expression. You’d never forgive him if you knew how much he enjoyed your expressions when you were annoyed.
“Alright. Fine. First thing tomorrow. But make sure you get some rest tonight, you’ve been working too hard lately!”
Sakamata waved a hand in answer as he walked out the workshop door. He’d try to follow your request, but a hero’s work is never done.
~~~~~
Gang Orca shuffled through the door to his agency with an aura of gloom about him. In the past five days, he had broken five more communicators, gotten into several serious fights, and had allowed a villain to escape. And that was just his work life. Some of his friends had set him up for a speed dating session. He didn’t blame them for trying, but it ended exactly how he knew it would. Most of the omegas who had been present were scared of him, and those that weren’t were clearly only interested in his pro hero paycheck. Kugo trudged toward his office, his thoughts gloomy. A man with a quirk like his would never have a normal courtship. It hurt sometimes. How nice it would be to come home to a sweet smelling omega. What wouldn’t he give to home filled with pups, and laughter and love? He sighed softly as he swung his door open. Such a life was not meant for him, so no point in even dreaming. On autopilot, he hung his coat on the coat rack, and turned to set his briefcase on his desk. However, the desk was already occupied. Kugo tilted his head as he stared at the object resting on his desk. It appeared to be a large bento box, wrapped in a rather feminine handkerchief, patterned with some sort of flowers. Kugo set his briefcase down on a chair before coming closer to investigate. Gingerly, he untied the knot, setting the cloth aside as he looked at the contents curiously.
First and most obviously, was the strawberry shaped sticky note attached to the top. “You looked like you had been having a rough week. I hope this can make it better!” The writing was… painstakingly cute. The “i”s were dotted with little hearts. Each letter having just a little bit of flourish, while still being legible.
Kugo hummed quietly to himself. Clearly this had been left on his desk by mistake. A bit awkward, considering his name was on the door, but there was no other explanation. He drummed his fingers on the desk as he considered his options. He could take a guess at who the bento was for. There were several popular alpha heroes working for him that got their share of gifts from admirers. The soft omegan scent coming from the handkerchief that had wrapped the bento was a solid clue the gift was likely meant for one of them. But really, there was no way to tell for sure who it was supposed to end up with, and he really didn’t want the hard work to go to waste. Yes. Best thing would be to eat the bento, and place the box in the break room with a note inside the box apologizing.
His course of action decided, Kugo opened the bento, quietly sucking a breath as he saw what was inside. There were sausages cut to look like little octopi. A large slab of teriyaki salmon. Rice balls shaped like teddy bear heads, complete with little seaweed faces. He tried to tamp down his delight at seeing over half of the bento was dedicated to tamagoyaki. While he lived up to his stereotype of loving fish, the egg dish was a secret favorite of his; something his mother had made for him whenever he had a bad day when he was growing up. The second layer of the bento had even more. Rice, vegetables, and surprisingly a small but adorable piece of cake. Kugo put the bento back together with a small smile on his face. Perhaps it wasn’t meant for him, but it had been a long time since he had been able to enjoy something like this- cute and homemade, clearly filled with a great deal of care. He couldn’t quite feel guilty as he looked forward to lunch. He could pretend, just this once, that a sweet smelling omega had put so much care into something for him.
~~~~~~
Later that day, when most of the day team had left, Kugo made his way to the common break room. He carefully cleaned out the bento box in the sink, setting it to the side to dry. He folded the handkerchief it had came in, and placed it next to the box before sighing. He was in the process of scribbling a brief apology note when he heard a cough. He glanced up to see y/n leaning against the doorway.
“You okay, chief? Thought your shift ended an hour ago.”
Kugo nodded as he placed his note on top of the handkerchief. “Yes, just had a few things I needed to wrap up. What about you? I know you were supposed to be done several hours ago now.”
You fidgeted, embarrassed, shrugging your shoulders as you glanced away. “Had an idea for how to improve a few items and, well, you know how I get when I have a project. But what have you got there? You never struck me as the homemade lunch type.”
It was Kugo’s turn to look uncomfortable as he shuffled from foot to foot. “It was left on my desk this morning by mistake. I had no way of knowing who it was actually meant for, and I didn’t want it going to waste, so I ate it.”
You frowned as you walked into the room, opening cupboards and starting to retrieve things to make tea. You held a mug up toward Kugo in a silent question, grabbing a second one when he nodded. You were quiet for a few moments, going through the motions. After a while you asked “How are you so sure it wasn’t for you?”
Kugo snorted, leaning back against the counter and gesturing at himself. “Omegas aren’t exactly lined up around the block. I don’t place high on the ‘heroes that look most like villains’ list every year for no reason. Some unfortunate omega got confused about whose office was whose. It’s a shame I couldn’t give it to whoever it was meant for, it was a beautifully crafted bento.” Kugo doesn’t mention the note. Kugo especially doesn’t mention the note had found its way into his desk drawer to save as a memory of how nice it had been to receive the bento, even if it was an accident.
You laughed, passing him a steaming cup of tea, made just how he liked. “Sakamata, don’t talk down about yourself like that. You’re big, strong, and prime alpha material. You’re one of the top heroes! And even more importantly, you’re a gentle kind man that any omega would be lucky to have. I’d bet good money that that bento absolutely was made just for you.”
“A nice thought, but I doubt it. You’ll see. In a few days I bet a bento will make its way to who it was meant for.”
~~~~~~
Kugo stood stock still in the doorway to his office. Sitting on his desk was another cloth wrapped package. Once was a mistake, clearly. But two days in a row? Why on Earth was there another bento on his desk? He approached the desk and slide the bento to him. He untied the scented fabric with care. A cat shaped note greeted him.
“I’m sorry if it wasn’t clear before, Sakamata. I wanted to make this for you because I admire you so much. I’m not always great at saying my feelings, so I hope my cooking says enough.”
This was… for him. The bentos… were for him? He sat in his chair, leaning his head against his hands as he regarded the innocent looking lunch. If it wasn’t a mistake, then what could it be? Probably a fortune hunting omega trying to get in his good graces, if he went off his past experience. Though usually those types of omegas were more likely to offer favors of a different sort. Kugo winced as another thought occurred to him. There was a good chance this omega pitied him. Ugly, intimidating, unmatable. Someone had seen him and decided he needed looking after because clearly he’d never get someone on his own. Yes. That had to be it. He should leave the bento in the break room and end this farce as soon as possible.
His mind made up, Kugo picked up the bundle to do exactly that. The subtle smell of the contents hit his sensitive nose, causing him to salivate. Tempura? Definitely egg. Well, it would be a shame to not even look inside to make sure.
Clearly just as much care had gone into this one as the last one. The rice balls were shaped like little cat heads, to match the note. An assortment of tempura seemed to be the main dish, cute cat shaped food picks stuck in some of them. There were even paw print shaped gummy candies for the dessert. Every inch of the lunch was absolutely adorable. And it was all done for him. There was no way Kugo could let it go to waste. It hurt to know it was a gift given out of pity, but maybe, just for a while, he could pretend there was someone out there who loved him like this. The omega would grow tired of this eventually. Until then, he’d let himself enjoy this.
~~~~~
It was surprising how easily this had become routine. Every day when Kugo walked into his office, there was a new bento waiting for him. And every day he’d unwrap the bento, indulging a brief moment in the cutely patterned handkerchiefs. Every bento was unique and cute. They seemed to show a good understanding of his tastes and preferences. It was a pleasant break on the quiet days and a welcome comfort on the rough days. Each day there was a sweet written note that Kugo gently stored in his desk drawer. It was perfect.
Until it wasn’t.
~~~~~~~
Kugo hated attending charity events. It wasn’t the charities, he always supported good causes. It wasn’t the dressing up, or the fancy atmosphere. It was the people. While a few of his friends were around somewhere, there were many many others who didn’t know him well. Others who were intimidated by his appearance. Others who apparently had no idea just how sharp his hearing was.
“Oh my god, I can’t believe Gang Orca is here.”
“I know! Well, I suppose he is a hero. Allegedly, anyway.”
“Did he come with anyone?”
“Of course not. I mean ew. Look at him. Can you imagine cosying up to that at the end of the day?”
“I know! And those teeth! If he tried to bond someone, he’d take their head clean off!”
“As if anyone would want to bond with that.”
“I don’t know. He’s in the top ten pretty often. He has to be loaded, right?”
“Would have to be a lot for me to even consider it.”
“It could be all the money and I still wouldn’t!”
“Oh don’t say that! Poor bastard can’t help he’s unmatable.”
Kugo walked away from the refreshment table as he tried to tune out the unkind comments and mocking laughter. It wasn’t anything he hadn’t heard before. He knew full well what he looked like. He had had enough failed courting attempts to know exactly what omegas thought of him. But it still stung. Stung more than usual, actually. The daily bentos with their scented cloths and cute little notes had almost made him forget. The only omegas who were interested either pitied him, or wanted his money. He could never forget that.
~~~~~
What he could forget, apparently, was that the number two pro hero was scheduled to be at his office the morning after the charity gala. Kugo stifled a sigh when he saw the red winged hero waiting outside his agency’s door. Of course he’d have to deal with this on a day when he wasn’t in the best of moods. “Orca! My man, good to see you again!”
Kugo nodded as he held the door open. “Hawks.”
“Didn’t get a chance to talk to you at the party last night. You know how it is. Go to one of those things when you're single, and you get swarmed.”
Kugo gave a non committal grunt. No, he didn’t know. He just wanted this morning to be over with. He perked up slightly as he saw you hurrying down the hallway toward them. Hawks gave a low whistle. “Who's the babe?” Kugo half growled. “That is Miss Y/N. The support item engineer you allegedly came here to see. You will be respectful and refrain from flirting with my staff.”
Keigo held up his hands and laughed. “Hey now big guy, don’t mean any offense. Just saying you’re lucky to get to work with that every day.”
Kugo jerked his head in an abbreviated nod. You slowed down your quick walk as you got closer, not wanting to interrupt the heroes’s conversation. Kugo waved you closer. You smiled at him so brightly as you joined the group. Yes. He was lucky to work with a friend such as you. Kugo’s nerves started to cool a bit as he introduced you and the three of you began to make your way to his office. Hawk’s casual questions were more inquisitive than flirty, and Kugo knew from long experience just how much you enjoyed being able to talk in depth about your work. He was smiling by the time he opened the door to his office, ushering the two or you in. Hawk’s next words hit him like a bucket of cold water to the face.
“Dang! Either you got one hell of a cafeteria service at this agency, or Gang Orca has himself quite an admirer. Delivered right to your desk, pretty bold, man! That’s exactly why I keep my door locked. There’s only so much lunch a man can eat, am I right?”
The bento. He had forgotten about the stupid bento. There it sat, as always. The handkerchief was especially cute today, some sort of pattern with teddy bears hugging and kissing. Any other day, the sight would have calmed him. Any other day he would have sat down and quickly poked through to see what surprises lay inside that day, would have read the note meant just for him with a smile.
But today was different. Others were in his office. The number two hero, handsome and popular. His support engineer, pretty enough to probably have plenty of suitors of her own. And then there was him. Large. Scary. Consistently told he looks like a villain. Has never had a relationship that wasn’t pitying or profiteering. Kugo remembered the whispered remarks from the party. Usually he’d be able to brush off Hawks’s commentary. But today…
Kugo snarled, his scent agitated as he swept his arm across the desk, knocking the bento roughly into the trash. “They are a nuisance that need to cease! I’m so tired of some desperate piting omega shoving their unwanted, unneeded efforts at me! Enough is enough!” At the end his voice was raised to a shout. He was dimly aware of his nails digging deeply into his palms. Kugo leaned on the desk, breathing deeply as he tried to calm himself. He could hear the others shuffling behind him awkwardly.
“Come on,” You murmured and lightly tugged on Keigo’s sleeve. “How about I show you my lab and take some measurements before we get started.”
“Yeah. Um. Yeah.” Keigo allowed you to lead him away. You softly closed the door behind you. Kugo remained, hunched and breathing raggedly. It took him several minutes to calm down. It took him a few minutes beyond that to gather the nerve to make the trek down to the support lab. He slipped into the room as inconspicously as a man with his fram could manage. You were taking measurements off of Keigo and muttering to yourself as you tapped out notes on your tablet. Keigo noticed Kugo’s entrance and greeted him cautiously. “You good?” Kugo nodded. “I… apologize. It’s been a rather trying week, but I should have composed myself better.”
Keigo waved him off. “No worries, man, no worries. Y/n was just telling me she thinks that she’ll be able to rig up something for me that would help slow my fall in situations where my wings get damaged.”
You hummed an affirmative, taking a few more measurements before you started describing your process. Kugo couldn’t help but notice you didn’t look his way. You looked at the ground, at your tablet, at Keigo, but you were clearly avoiding Kugo’s gaze. He mentally winced as he settled onto an out of the way stool. It was rare for him to have that kind of emotional outburst. It probably could be heard even from outside his office. He’d make sure to apologize to you better when he got the chance. But for now, it was looking like it would be a long, awkward day. Goodie.
~~~~~
Kugo growled under his breath the next morning when he saw the cloth wrapped bundle sitting on his desk. Yesterday’s embarrassment was still fresh in his mind as he stalked forward. His thick fingers quickly untied the surprisingly unpatterned piece of fabric. There, under the cloth, on top of the box, was a note as there always was. Kugo’s anger was cooled by confusion when he saw it, however. The paper was a plain yellow post-it note. Instead of the painstakingly cute handwriting with the heart dotted “i’s, there was a clearly hasty scrawl.
“I’m sorry. I never meant to annoy you. This will be the last one.”
Kugo frowned, shifting in his seat. Clearly the bento maker had heard about his outburst from yesterday. That was… unfortunate. But perhaps for the best, since he had no way of directly telling them to cease their nonsense. Unconsciously, his hand balled up the handkerchief and as he had been doing for a while, he scented it.
The cloth had a slight smell of salt to it. Tears, Kugo realized uncomfortably. The smell of tears slightly diluted the normal soothing smell of whoever had carefully packaged these bentos. He had little appetite as he looked over what was there. Tempura. Salmon. Vegetables. A large portion of tamagoyaki. But the part that caused an uncomfortable weight to settle in his chest was the little red box, filled with slightly clumsy, clearly homemade chocolates. Kugo closed his eyes, sighing as he set the box to the side to wait for lunch. This was good. This was what he wanted, to be left alone instead of some kind hearted omega taking pity on him. He had lived a long time without homemade bentos and little notes. He certainly didn’t want the small offering of chocolates. When lunchtime came, he certainly didn’t linger over the food longer than usual, savoring each bite. He tried to tell himself that this was for the best. That this was what he wanted. He refused to think about why he tucked the handkerchief and the box of chocolates into his desk drawer instead of leaving them in the break room as usual.
The next day as Kugo opened his office door, he looked toward his desk out of habit; searching for the lunch that had been left. His chest gave an uncomfortable lurch when he found the desk was bare. He shook his head in an attempt to clear it. This was fine. This was what he wanted. The sooner he forgot about all this nonsense, the sooner things would return to normal. He settled into his chair and began sifting through the paperwork he had to deal with. No better way to take his mind off his troubling thoughts and distract the whine of his inner alpha. He was certain. Things would be back to normal soon.
Two weeks later, Kugo listlessly picked at the limp lettuce of the poor excuse of a salad that he had picked up at a convenience store. He sighed, putting the lid back on the barely touched meal resolving to throw it away when he next passed a garbage can. He didn’t like to admit it, but he missed the carefully planned meals. Wondering what cute surprise was going to be next. It was nice that someone thought he might enjoy seeing animal shaped onigiri and cheesecake flavored kit kats. His alpha whimpered when he thought about the contented omega scent that gently perfumed every handkerchief, except the last. But just as the note had said, he had received nothing since that last bento. His thoughts remained gloomy as he entered the agency, quickly making his way into his office, locking the door behind him. He knew better than to hope as he looked towards his desk. Bare, once again. Sighing heavily, he slumped into his chair. He gently pulled open the bottom drawer of his desk. Carefully nestled into it was the cleaned, empty bento box from the last meal, the small box of dwindling homemade chocolates, and that last precious handkerchief.
Kugo carefully removed the handkerchief. He brought the cloth to his nose, inhaling deeply. Stabbing pain shot through him as he realized the scent was barely there anymore. The faint scent of tears almost completely overpowering the last lingering trace of distressed omega. His hands clutched the fabric tightly, squeezing until he realized the stress he was putting on the fabric. He quickly placed it on the desk and tried in vain to smooth out the wrinkles. After a minute of fussing, he gently refolded it and placed it back in the drawer. Kugo stared at the contents, unblinking before slowly sliding the drawer closed. It was almost gone. Everything was almost gone. And he didn’t know how to get it back.
With a low growl, Kugo pushed himself up. Today was a rare day where he hoped for trouble on his patrol. A fight would certainly take his mind off things, and just maybe calm the whining alpha that echoed throughout his entire being.
~~~~
He really needed to be careful what he wished for. Kugo winced as he limped toward the support lab. He had gotten a fight alright. He had gotten three fights, a twisted ankle, and a once again smashed communication headset. It wasn’t his fault that he had gotten thrown backwards into a rather solid concrete wall. Y/N was going to kill him.
Kugo pushed the lab door open, stepping inside. His forehead creased in worry. The lab felt off. Wrong in a way he couldn’t immediately place a finger finger on. Well, he’d have to think about it later, he decided as he made his way to where you were sitting. You were at your workbench, tapping your pen on the table and staring at nothing when he settled down on the stool next to you. You glanced over as Kugo sat down, did a double take and let out a small noise of surprise.
“Sakamata! What happened to you?”
The large man shrugged, trying to act nonchalant. “The usual. Villain didn’t behave exactly how I thought, and I paid for not being vigilant enough. Nothing too bad. Twisted ankle and roughed up a little. Unfortunately though…”
Sheepishly as a scolded schoolboy, Kugo pulled the shattered remains of his latest communicator out of his pocket and placed them on the workbench.
“Kugo!”
He couldn’t help but smile. He loved the times when you got worked up enough to call him by his first name. He watched as you gingerly sifted through the sad shattered remains.
“What did you do, hit it with a rock?!”
“Concrete wall, actually.”
You stilled before turning to look at Kugo, sharp and suspicious. “And I assume you were wearing it at the time?”
Kugo had the decency to look embarrassed as he nodded. Suddenly he was being fussed over, gentle hands touching his face and turning his head this way and that. An exclamation and curse left you when you found a large, sluggishly bleeding gash on the back of Kugo’s head.
“You! You Alpha!” You huffed as you started digging through the pockets of your lab coat. Kugo got a brief glimpse of colored fabric before the handkerchief was softly dabbing at his wound. Kugo hissed, only half listening as the scolding continued about how knot headed alphas needed to learn to go to the medical ward first before worrying about stupid replacable tech. He was brought back to the present when a hand, so much smaller than his own, grabbed his hand. You easily maneuvered him so that Kugo was now firmly holding the handkerchief over the cut. You hummed, satisfied for now.
“Now Sakamata, please hold that there until you can get medical to look at it. Doubt a hard headed man like you has a concussion, but might need stitches. I’m not exactly an expert. Don’t worry about the headset. I should be able to get a new one to you before my replacement takes over. And if not, I’ll be leaving some blueprints behind anyway.”
What?
“Replacement?”
You stilled, looking away from him. “Yeah. Yeah, sorry. I just… I never found the right time to tell you.” You fidgeted, rubbing your thumb over your knuckles. “I’m going to be going to America soon. I’ve gotten a good offer to work with a few heroes over there that need someone specialized in mutation supports. It would do a lot to boost my career…”
Kugo reached out, grabbing your hand, and stopping your nervous motions. He tried to find words in his stalling brain. “This is really sudden, Y/N.”
“Yeah. Sorry.” You wouldn’t meet his gaze.
He gently shook his head, giving your hand a squeeze. “Not scolding you. Just, is everything alright? Is something going on?
You pulled away, digging your hands into your hair with a sigh. “You know me too well.”
Kugo gave half a smile. “I would hope so. I like to think we’re friends. Is there anything I can do? Are you in trouble in some way?”
You shook your head. “No. No, nothing like that. It’s kind of embarrassing. Just… A courtship that really didn’t turn out well. And I just… I could really use some time away to get my head back on straight. Eagle Pride’s office has mentioned wanting me to go over and collaborate with them for a while, and what better time than now?” Your laugh sounded bitter.
Kugo sat silent and stunned. He hadn’t known you were courting. Being courted? Honestly, he wasn’t even sure of your dynamic. If you weren’t beta, then you certainly hid your scent well. He cleared his throat before speaking hesitantly.
“I certainly won’t stop you if you truly wish to go. It is an excellent opportunity. Might be a step in having your own support company if you wish. And if not, you’re always welcome here, Y/n. You must know that.”
You give a small smile, finally looking him in the eye. His chest tightened when he saw tears there. “I know, Kugo. You’ve been nothing but kind to me. You’re a good friend for putting up with me.”
“There’s no putting up with. I enjoy your company, always.” Kugo reached out slowly, but you turned away and wiped your eyes with your sleeve. He frowned, placing his hand back in his lap. “And you sure you’re alright, Y/N? No one is threatening you, are they? Someone unsafe taken an interest in you?”
You snorted, “Nothing like that. And people think I’m the dramatic one. No. I just got rejected is all. I miscalculated. Thought they were interested, but they made it very clear they aren’t.”
“Then they’re an idiot.” The words escaped Kugo before he even realized what he was going to say. But it was true, he was sure. You were beautiful, kind, smart. Anyone would be beyond lucky to hold your interest. On the rare days he allowed himself to dream, he often thought he’d love to have someone like you as a mate. Someone who knew him well and cared for him as much as he cared for them. He felt pains in his chest and his eyes widened as realization hit him in the face like a wet mackerel. Oh. He was jealous. He was jealous of whoever it was that y/n had tried to court. And he was angry. Furious that some fool had rejected her. Hurt her. But he was glad she was still here. Yet she was going to leave. Going to leave him here alone. His thoughts swirled and tumbled, and he swayed slightly in his seat. And hand on his shoulder stilled him and he looked up into your concerned eyes.
“Hey, you’re not looking too good. You really should get to medical. Do you need me to help you?”
“No. No. I can make it down a few hallways, thank you though.”
Kugo stood, and tried to give back the cloth he had been pressing to his head. You pushed it back, gently scolding him. “I said leave it there until someone can look at it. If you insist on returning a silly old rag, you can wash it and give it back later.”
Kugo nodded and mumbled out a goodbye. He had a lot to think about as he slowly made his way to medical. So. He liked you. The more he thought about it, the clearer it seemed to him. He’d liked you for a while. Things were always easy with you. But now, you’re leaving. He couldn’t stop you, and wouldn’t even if he could. You clearly felt like you needed to go.
He was still ruminating on his thoughts as the doctor ushered him to a bed. He was poked and prodded. Kugo managed to mumble out what must have been coherent answers. In the end, he did end up needing a few stitches. And just like that, he found himself fixed up and back in his office. He snorted a laugh at the absurdity. How can a day like this somehow manage to be just another day? Kugo sat in his chair and twisted the cloth in his hands absently. He brought it to his nose and sniffed out of habit. Oh course, the scent of his own blood was the most dominant. But underneath that was the usual calming scent of omega. His shoulders relaxed as the tension ran out of him. He pulled that cloth away, idly looking at the pattern. It was cute. Floral. Reminded him of the cloth that the first bento had been…
Wait.
Wait.
He hastily brought the handkerchief to his nose again. There was no mistaking it. He knew that smell. He had missed that smell for weeks. It was faint. But it absolutely was there. Omega, soft and sweet. Not any omega. His omega. His bento maker. His y/n.
Y/n.
Y/n who had seen him toss her courting gift in the trash, who thought he had completely rejected her, and who was moving to America.
Kugo was on his feet in an instant. He’d never made the trip to the support lab that quickly before. You jumped when the door flew open, hitting so harshly that the doorknob dented the wall.
“Sakamata! What?”
He dropped to his knees before you, arms wrapped tight around your waist and his head pressing against your stomach.
“Kugo?” You asked softly, hesitantly stroking along his fin. “Kugo, what’s wrong?”
“You’re the best thing life has ever given me. Please don’t leave. Please.”
You made a soft, wounded sound. You kneeled slowly, and took his face in your hands. Kugo leaned into your touch like a man who had been starved of affection his whole life. You stroked your thumbs over his cheeks.
“Kugo, I’m going to need you to speak plainly, so I’m sure I don’t misunderstand. What’s going on?”
His large hands came up, taking both your hands in his.
“I’m an idiot.”
You snorted and tilted your head, confused. He met your gaze as he continued.
“I’m an idiot and I love you.”
You inhaled sharply, looking at him in disbelief. He pulled the crumpled, bloodstained handkerchief from his pocket.
“I’m an idiot because I love you and yet I never even noticed that you loved me too. You showed me every day. You knew I like eggs just as much as fish. You cared enough to make them cute. You gave me extra sweets on days when I was working a double shift. I loved every bento you made me. I have every note saved. And I might be an idiot, but I’d be an even bigger idiot if I let you go without saying something. I’m sorry. I’m so sorry, and I love you and please don’t go.”
“Kugo.” You smiled sadly. “I’m sorry. I already promised I’d go.”
Kugo inhaled a shaky breath, his eyes lowering to the floor.
“But,” you used your hands to lift his chin. His gaze snapped back to yours. “It’s just for six months. Six months, and then I’ll be right back here. With you.”
“With me?”
“Mmhmm.” You gave his nose a quick peck. “Always. You’re the best man I know. I don’t think there’s anyone else in the world for me.”
Kugo groaned and pulled you close, burying his face in your neck. From here, although it was very faint, he could smell your soothing scent. “You can’t say things like that and then tell me I can’t have you here for six months!”
You chuckled as you hugged him close. “Well, we have two weeks before I leave. We have a little time. And once I’m back? We’ll have all the time in the world.”
“Even that won’t be enough time to spend with you.”
“Dork.”
He hummed his agreement. “But it’s true. Eternity would be enough time to spend with you.” Before you could protest, he pulled you in for a gentle, but determined kiss.

How about yandere TC meliodas but a soulmate au where him and the s/o( Fairy and goddess hybrid who fights for stigma) both share a connection to each other, from sharing emotion, to having vision of where they may meet for the first time. This seem like a nice concept, I imagine meliodas is use to constantly feeling pain from training all the way to fighting the war only to have a s/o who is yet to meet him but is willing to send over positive emotion and feeling to make him feel better. Im sucker for this kinds of things.
Oh hell yes, I love soulmate aus! Which is why it got a bit longer than what I normally write (and took so long lol)
Yandere TC Meliodas with soulmate darling
For as long as you can remember there had been a second layer to your emotions that you couldn`t quite grasp, let alone influence. It was just barely there, almost unnoticeable. Annoyance, nonchalance and a deep-rooted but hidden pain. After learning that those belonged to your soulmate, to the being your were destined to meet and love, you were baffled. Three emotions. A few feelings. Was that all they were capable of, or was that all they could allow themselves to? You mused that they felt your surprise and pity and hoped they wouldn`t connect the dots, they didn`t seem like the kind of person to appreciate such sentiments. Nonetheless you wanted to help. If they weren`t able to and didn`t have the opportunity to experience joy, wonder, excitement and a healthy amount of sadness and grief that one felt at ending a wonderful book with no continuation than you would have to do it for them. If they were hurt you could send them comfort and if they were bored you`d jump down a cliff if you must only to open your wings at the last second to send them a dose of mixed excitement and fear and laughter.
Meliodas had known of the concept of soulmates for as long as he could remember. Since then he had always been told that he wouldn`t need them, that demons barely needed their destined partner and only to allow any connection beyond the unavoidable should they be of the same race. He knew that something was wrong with that but in the end he didn`t care enough to do anything about that. So they felt what he did and at some point he`d know where you two would meet. Great. As long as they don`t get in his way and he can do what he must it`d be fine.
He always knew that his range of sentiments were by far not the widest or the happiest but he would do. Meliodas had to. He had to be strong and cold and unfeeling. That did not seem to be the case for his soulmate, however. There were a mix of emotions constantly changing, most of them he hadn`t even experienced himself. They are a bother, he told himself and ignored it. He also ignored the twinge in his chest whenever they felt sad, ashamed or dispirited. Told himself that he was lucky that they weren`t sending feelings consciously, especially when he had to concentrate.
That changed. There was no warning, no prompting, nothing. Meliodas was about to go to sleep when they did it for the first time. They must have felt his exhaustion and either they thought he didn`t deserve to rest or wanted to spite him because the next thing he knew he felt adrenaline coursing through his veins and excitement erupting. Cursing he sat up, trying to calm his racing hearts and suppress that stuff. The emotions promptly calmed down and went into their normal, ignorable state though he could make out some guilt. For good measure he made his annoyance clear before flopping back down and closing his eyes. That didn`t stop a small and rather short lived smile from surfacing.
Was it your best idea? No. Did you think about what you were doing? No. You had felt your soulmate`s fatigue and seeing as it was the afternoon and they didn`t normally feel like that at this certain time you had assumed that they needed a bit of energy. Luckily, you had been sitting on a rather high branch and before you could think it through you had thrown yourself of from it. Upon their rejection though you had quickly stopped your little stunt and the idea that they had wanted to sleep crossed your mind. Ups. This had been the first time you had enforced an emotion and it had gone wrong. Hoping that their first impression of you could still be fixed you laid low for a bit.
The next opportunity presented itself when you had discovered a beautiful small pond in the forest. It was surrounded by rich plant live and some ducks were swimming on it, the sunshine reflected and sparkled on the water’s surface. Deciding that now would be a good opportunity you checked on their emotions. There was no apparent change from normal so it should be fine. Carefully and a lot slower this time you let your admiration seep through to them and being encouraged by the response, which was nothing, you strengthened it, letting yourself enjoy the coolness of the water as you dipped your feet in. Sitting there you shared this feeling, the contrast of the warm light and the refreshing cold, the calmness of the forest, far away from the others and the silence only being broke by the wind and birds in the sky. With all the work you had been doing and the tense atmosphere of your partner the relaxation was welcomed with open arms.
After this first successful interaction you continued, first about once a week and then once a day and soon simply whenever you felt like it. You were a bit disappointed that your soulmate never openly reacted but you had noticed that their feelings had calmed down and that was enough to keep you going. Having long ago realised that they were fighting in the same war, the suspicion and caution mixed with the occasional numbness, you assumed that they numbed their feelings in hopes of suppressing regret, you sent as much comfort as you could. It was gut wrenching whenever you noticed the impassivity but you did your best to help.
Meliodas grew used to it, over time. He even grew to like it, not that he`d ever admit it. Sensing your enforced emotions brought him joy and comfort, knowing that there was someone out there who cared. He sometimes felt guilty about not replying but what did he have to share? So he let the one sided communication continue.
You always made sure to only strengthen positive emotions or small harmless sadness, just to let them know what you were feeling. This time however you feared that you had made a mistake. You were patrolling and you were careless. It was close to enemy territory but there hadn`t been an incident here and there was this beautiful flower in full bloom and you simply had to send your amazement. Doing just that you hovered over the flower, it`s sweet smell calming your mind. The next thing you knew was a sharp pain in your side as you moved away, away from whatever had slashed you.
It was a small demon and you were quickly able to take care of it before healing your wound. Before you could investigate if there were any others you felt their worry. It was overwhelming. For the first time they openly enforced their feelings and it was intense enough that you couldn`t breathe for a moment. You noticed some anger interlaced, too, directed at what had harmed you, you noted. Quickly sending them your calmed frame of mind you searched for any other attackers and upon finding none you returned to report to one of the other goddesses.
Meliodas had been walking down a lonely hallway when you noticed the flower. Humming in acknowledgement he opened the door to his room and froze. Instead of admiration you seemed to be in pain. What had happened? Were you okay? His mind raced as he allowed himself to worry and let that worry reach you. The seconds were he felt your pain, surprise, resignation and caution were agony. After he was assured you were fine he sighed in relief.
After the second time the demon decided that he should contact you more. After his initial worry had subsided he had become anxious. Not only could you be harmed at any time, he had no way of helping you, not without knowing who or where you were. He realised he didn`t know much of you. Was there someone who liked you beside him, someone you liked? He hoped not. You were his. You two were fated to be, no matter how stupid that sounded. However he had no real way of checking, so interacting with you like this had to be enough for now. He also grew more attentive of your passive emotions, not letting a single feeling pass his attention.
It is a well known fact that before you meet your destined other, you envision the place you will first meet. You had been waiting for that day for ages, knowing that soon after you`d finally meet them, your soulmate. They had been so much more communicative and their joy caused by interactions grew day by day. So when you opened your eyes in a supposedly dream and felt closer to them than ever before you knew that your encounter was drawing near.
The first thing you noticed were your surroundings which resembled a patch of woods just on the border to demon territory. It was cold and clouds hung deep over the sky, it was eerily silent. Not the most romantic, you decided, but whatever. Taking a closer look you noticed a figure approaching from the woods, across from you and the border. It was more of a shadow than anything, you could make out the rather small height but any other details didn`t quite seem to be comprehensive or noticeable. So this was them. You smiled, though you could guess that they wouldn`t see that with how they most likely perceived you in a similar way that you could view them. No words were spoken as you stood only meters apart, time seemingly frozen as all you could do was hope that you could stay like this for longer. Neither they nor you moved, fearing that otherwise the bubble would burst and the glass would shatter and you would wake up, more lonely than ever now that you were apart again. You couldn`t speak, somehow knowing that sounds would not travel far here, but you didn`t need to do that, as all you needed was your connection and bond as soulmates. Warmth, affection and joy swirled between you both and almost felt tangible, as if all you needed to do was reach out to drown in these emotions.
When Meliodas found himself in a dream more realistic than any other he wondered what had happened. He wandered a bit before recognising the forest to be the one crossing the border that Stigma established and vehemently defended. Feeling a presence he followed the strange pull, coming across the figure hidden in shadows with wings that couldn`t have been a fairy`s or a goddess`s. Something else or something in between? He didn`t care. All that mattered was the sense of recognition. It was you. His partner. His destined other. His soulmate. His.
Only after waking up did he realise where exactly you both would meet. The verge on which enemies would meet to battle. Where blood was spilled in the constantly ongoing war. The perimeter seemed in tact though, so you at least wouldn`t meet directly on a battlefield. One thing he did know now, however. You stood on opposing sides, Demons against Stigma, darkness against light, him versus you. How cruel to put you so far away from him, Meliodas mused. But if he had to he knew who to betray and who to stay loyal to.
You spend the next days searching for the exact place you two would meet, ignoring the suspicious stares and whispers about, oh, look, the hybrid is slacking of, no wonder. You wondered how they`d react to your soulmate who was undeniably on the opposite force of the conflict. You supposed one of you would have to switch sides and if you couldn`t convince them than you would have to do so. Though with how they ended up emotionally before you interacted you hoped they would agree with you. Even if the others were against it, the higher ups respected your hard work and if that didn`t work you`d ask Elizabeth, who always seemed hesitant about the war and disliked judging others no matter who they were, for help.
Either way, you thought, being prepared wouldn`t hurt. After finally finding the place you hid a small bag full of important belongings and necessities in the trunk of the hollow tree along with a small gift you hoped your soulmate would appreciate. Following the thickening of your bond you had started to feel other and smaller sensations of them and while you were quite distressed with how often they seemed to fight, you couldn`t deny the feeling of joy when you drank a wine and instantly knew that they liked it, having had a faint taste of it. Hoping that this time you could enjoy it together you made sure the bottle was secure before heading of again.
Every time the weather was like the one in your vision, your and their hope grew and while you reached the place in no time, having memorised the way, they still hadn’t found it. Meliodas wished to fly over the forest but he had seen himself walking and knew that was the only way to get to you. So he wandered around, over and over and when he finally recognised a turn he followed the path eagerly. It took a bit to notice your presence, it being hidden seeing as anything else would be suicide so close to a hostile region. He rushed through the trees, his and yours excitement mixing and growing as you waited, peering through the woods in hopes of catching a glimpse, the first glimpse of the person you had grown to love.
The wind, his hearts and time itself stopped as he came to a halt in front of you. Your eyes were the first things he noticed, shining with a light that warmed him, overflowing with affection. You stared just as much, his black eyes turning into a beautiful shade of green as he lowered himself to the ground, his black wings disappearing from sight. You did the same, letting your feet touch the earth below you before moving one in front of the other. The grin on your face widened as he did the same and before you knew it he wrapped his arms around you.
“Hello“, you whispered. All former thoughts and ideas on your first words spoken to him seeming too far away to speak now, all you could do was great him. He was so warm, his arms protectively shielding you away from a world that was to cruel to a wonderful being like you, he decided, as he responded in the same manner. His hearts were finally beating again and were much faster now.
“My name is Meliodas“, he added, chin comfortably resting on your shoulders, eyes closed and melting into your embrace. It felt so right to finally have you. You fitted perfectly into his grasp, his eyes fluttering open and a smile tugging on his lips as he heard your name. You were finally here, with him. Meliodas knew in this moment he could never let you go. He would follow you wherever you wanted to and destroy anyone that dared and try harm you, no matter the consequences, as long as he could be with you, the one who cared and comforted him, the one that was made for him and the one he was made for, his soulmate.

1:3 Hard Candy
Natasha stormed off the jet and into the conference room where she knew the rest of the team were waiting for them, fury radiating from her small frame. Catching sight of her target only made her grow angrier. She immediately ran up to Steve and growled up in his face causing him to immediately take a step back. Sam and Bucky were immediately alarmed, standing up to intervene and the latter's black vibranium arm whirring in preparation but Steve held up a hand to stop them.
"What the hell, Rogers? You send me on a mission with zero intel and this is what I find? Did you know?"
Steve's eyes narrowed down at her, the thick beard and longer hair adding even more to his already commanding presence. He knew exactly what Natasha was talking about and he did expect her to react this way.
"I wasn't sure, Nat. And I didn't want to get anyone's hopes up if I was wrong."
"And if you were right?" she scoffed.
Steve swallowed hard before he answered, the blue in his eyes calming considerably. "I thought the three of you deserved to be the first to know."
"What the hell is going on?" Bucky asked, arms crossed on his chest and brows deeply furrowed. They didn't even know about any mission.
Natasha chuckled humorlessly and backed off from Steve. She ran a hand through her hair, the red bleeding into the old blonde color, and gestured toward the door at the approaching people.
"Well you weren't wrong, Steve."
Shock.
That was the overall theme of the day it seemed. None of them could hardly believe that you were actually standing at the doorway. It's been ten long years and you were like the ghost haunting their dreams during that time, a pure and kind soul taken far too soon. Hell, they told stories about your selfless sacrifice to the new recruits. You had unknowingly become a legend.
A legend turned ghost story.
Now you looked more like a nightmare; dried blood caked your clothes and skin, a cold smirk lifting the corner of your lips, and a dangerous unhinged glint in your eyes.
"Well, I'll be damned," Sam breathed. "Y/N?"
"Hey, Sam," you said, the almost flirtatious lilt in your voice sending a shiver down their spines. "I go by Nemesis now."
"Nemesis?" Bucky snapped out of his daze, brows raised high and his jaw clenched, features seen clearer now with his shorter hair. "The notorious mercenary Nemesis?"
"I prefer private contractor."
While they had been honoring your memory, you had been building a ruthless reputation of your own that was widely considered on par in violence with The Punisher but with the added disturbing fact that you could be hired. Of course, no one but a select few knew who you actually were.
Until today.
Nemesis. The Greek goddess of divine retribution and revenge. A name that suited the dark avenging persona you had adapted and the only purpose you now lived for. In a twisted kind of way, you were doing the same work they were only with far less finesse and none of the righteous for the good of mankind purpose they usually had.
You shrugged, sitting yourself casually down on the nearest chair on the other end of the long table from where they stood. You have had a long night, your feet were tired and they were still looking at you with absolute confusion and disbelief. This looked like it would take a while.
You rolled your eyes as you unbuckled your stained bulletproof vest, throwing it haphazardly on the table. You hazarded a glance at each one of them as you made yourself comfortable, noting the changes in them too. The years had given way to a solemn maturity to each one, it seems things had changed for them too.
"Now that I'm here, you have 12 minutes."
"12 minutes? Until what?" Steve stammered.
He couldn't keep his eyes off you, couldn't for the life of him reconcile the person he was seeing in front of him with the person he knew. From your expressions to your movements and even to the tone of your voice, you were just so different and yet it just seemed to make you a more magnetic presence. Fresh guilt washed over him, knowing that he had failed you as your Captain. They should have kept looking for you.
"You'll see. 11 minutes now. Either ask your questions or tell me what you want."
"We all thought you were dead," Steve muttered, taken back by your hostility.
"Well that obviously didn't stick. How did you find me, Cap?"
It was Steve who found you. At first he couldn't believe it was really you, but the split second glimpse he got of your eyes from the body cam on one of the field agents weeks ago drove him to obsessively dig further. It was a shot in the dark when he sent Natasha and the twins on the mission tonight.
"By chance," he admitted. "We've been chasing a group of people suspected to be manufacturing and selling the super soldier serum. Our agents have had a few close encounters with you. I think we're going after the same people."
"So you're asking for intel?" you snorted, absentmindedly picking at the bloodstains on your sleeves.
"No," he said cautiously, wary at how relaxed yet tightly coiled you looked. "I'm offering you your spot back with the team."
You almost choked on the laugh that just escaped your lips. You couldn't help the short bark of laughter at the ridiculous proposition. Looking at their faces though it seemed that the offer was serious, although the reluctant look in their eyes at your transformation showed their inner conflict. You straightened your features and shook your head, the amused smile still on your lips.
"Look, I'm not exactly on brand for you guys anymore." You leaned forward with your arms on the table and landed your eyes squarely on Bucky's, the venom unmistakable. "Besides, I seem to recall I was deemed not cut out for this team."
Bucky felt like his soul left him at your words. There was a Molotov cocktail of emotions raging inside him; surprise, shame, relief, anger, guilt, and longing. It was killing him knowing that he had a hand in how drastically you had changed. He was deathly afraid of finding out your full story. He wanted to talk to you, wanted to beg for your forgiveness and make things right. How many chances would anyone get to redeem oneself with a ghost? He couldn't find the words though, his throat going dry and his tongue heavy in his mouth.
"Y/N, you know that's not the truth," Steve tried to insist.
"I'm not Y/N anymore and I already have a team." You waved a hand dismissively. "Also your 12 minutes are up."
All at once the power cut out in the Compound, drenching the room into darkness punctuated by the flashing emergency lights. You felt yourself get lifted off your seat and the next moment you were standing behind a formation of Avengers in the arms of the resident speedster, your arms on his chest to steady yourself from the daze of the sudden movement. His muscles were tense beneath your hands but his expression was gentle as he looked down at you.
He had wanted to rush over to you the moment you revealed your face. He wanted to hold you, jump for joy, speed around the entire city with you in his embrace. How you were alive didn't matter to him.
Only that you were.
It was only at Wanda's warning for him to stay back that he did. She showed him that you weren't the same person anymore and that they weren't sure whether you would still be friend or foe. To Pietro though, you weren't different.
You were just angry.
To him you were still his little star despite the others thinking you were closer to a supernova now. His little star was just hurting and he decided that he would do everything in his power to help you heal. He held your head tighter to his chest, intending to protect you from the anticipated danger and ready to get you to safety at a moment's notice.
"What the damn hell is going on?" Sam yelled, readying his guns.
A figure silently jumped through the window and rolled on the floor to stop right in front of the group, jolting the Avengers to defend. He stood to full height and took a fighting stance; clad in head to toe red, billy clubs at the ready, and horns glinting in the sparse light atop his head.
The Devil of Hell's Kitchen.
"Let Nemesis go," he growled.
Natasha stepped forward, snapping her own batons in place. The crackling of the electricity from it sent lights to dance on the menacing expression on her face. The rest of the team watched closely the other entry points, expecting more to come in and if the first was any indication then they were in for a real fight.
Footsteps could be heard coming down the hallway, loud and not at all trying to be concealed. Walking straight through the front door, were two towering men in heavy military gear each holding an assault rifle aimed at the group. The sneer on one lent a dangerous taunting aura to his surprisingly handsome features as if to say just fucking try me. While the other had a burning steely focus that instinctively made anyone back off, the emblem on his black vest told them exactly who he was.
The Punisher.
The Avengers snapped to attention, each one drawing their weapons and aiming back. The air was crackling with animosity and fingers that itched to pull their respective triggers. Everyone held their breath, waiting for the first to break the standoff in the enclosed space. Willing for someone to break it.
You laughed.
The disorientation at your reaction was palpable across the room. You patted Pietro's chest, grinning up at him in reassurance that everything was fine. He released you from his hold reluctantly and let you step out of the protective cluster they had inadvertently formed around you. The three newcomers visibly relaxed the slightest bit at the sight of you.
"Weapons down," you said calmly, eyeing each one in the room. No one budged. "All of you. Now."
Steve being the first one to lower his shield was the catalyst in diffusing what could have been the fight of the century. As outnumbered as the newcomers were, they lacked nothing in skill and precise brutality. Frank followed in lowering his weapon and soon everyone did the same. There was still tension but at least it was now reduced to intense glaring.
You tutted and shook your head as you strutted your way to your three rescuers. "What I needed was a ride home, Frankie. Not a goddamn full extraction op."
"Sorry, sweetheart," he said, not sounding at all apologetic and knowing you weren't really angry if the tired amusement on your face was anything to go by.
He smiled at you, that small open quirk at the corner of his mouth that was always accompanied by a roll of his tongue. He reached for you when you got close enough, drawing you close with a burly arm around the back of your shoulders. He kissed you on the forehead, a lingering gesture that clearly showed an intimacy between the two of you. The soft look on his face was reserved only for you and when he raised his face to the Avengers it was back to the cold threatening glare.
"Can you blame us though?" His voice came out gravelly, a favorite sound of yours. "The last time you were with these guys you were captured and tortured."
Tortured.
The word hung heavy in the air and though your back was turned, you could imagine the look on the faces of your former team. They didn't know about that yet. How could they when they had believed all this time that you died in the explosion?
"You forgot to mention blown up," Matt added, grabbing your hand and pressing it to his lips.
He removed his helmet, floppy brown hair instantly softening his persona. He peppered kisses on your palm and the inside of your wrist as he breathed in your scent to calm his own anxiety. He almost lost it when Billy had called saying that you had been taken. He was usually the last one to jump to immediate violence in your group, but the thought of you gone filled him with irrational fear. The possibility that history could repeat itself was unacceptable to him.
"I should have come with you."
"I could handle it and Billy was with me."
"Lot of good that did," he scoffed, switching to lightly biting your wrist. This wasn't unusual. Being blind, he relied on a more intense physical reassurance that everything was still as it should be.
"They weren't gonna hurt me, Matty," you argued, but it was more to help settle his nerves.
"All right, leave the foreplay for later," the last of the trio said, pulling you by your other hand closer to him.
He held you tightly by the waist and pressed you close, molding your body to his in a practiced motion. The smile on his face was scandalous and the mischief in his eyes was one that spelled trouble. The cheeky bastard winked at you before dipping his head to lay open mouthed kisses on your neck up to your ear right along your old scars. Shivers went down your spine and you couldn't help the low hum as your body reacted instinctively to him, stepping closer still until you could feel the heat of his body through his gear.
You knew exactly what he was doing. He was always the quickest to show affection in front of company, but this was a particularly golden opportunity for him to stake his claim in front of people he believed did not value you enough. Billy wouldn't be Billy if he didn't take it.
"Hey, pretty girl."
Across the room, the Avengers watched on with blatant curiosity at the apparent intimately familiar exchanges. It wasn't as much the fact that three men were bathing you with affection, but more that this cemented how far removed you were from their memory of you. They knew you as a starry-eyed recruit who stuttered at light teasing and preening at the slightest validation.
"Y/N," Steve called for you, forcing you to step away from Billy for the moment. You turned around to face them but Billy didn't let you go far, slinging his arm over your chest and this time contorting his body to yours.
"I told you, Steve. I'm not Y/N anymore," you said, a fleeting sadness flashed in your eyes before it was replaced with a firm pride. "And this is my team."
"We're taking our girl home," Frank declared, the threat underneath didn't need to be verbalized. If they took you again, it wouldn't end well for anyone.
"Wait!" Steve said urgently, halting your exit. "We'll hire you."
It was a last ditch effort. He was grasping at straws to keep you from disappearing from their lives again. He knew that if you walked out that door now there was no chance of ever getting you back. He just could not let that happen. This would only be temporary at best, but at least it would buy him time to convince you of a more permanent arrangement.
"Not interested."
"Nem." Matt as usual cautioned you from being too hasty. "Is this about the syndicates?"
You sighed. Matt was like a dog with a bone now. There was no choice but to let him chew on it. This was particularly important to him because the syndicates had been running amok in Hell's Kitchen and he was starting to find it difficult to keep his backyard clean.
"Yeah, apparently the stuff we found in the shipment yard was for making super soldier serums. The Avengers have been following the trail too."
"Why not just join forces then? We can get this done and over with a lot faster with their help," he reasoned.
"We're doing fine on our own, Matty."
"Matt has a point, sweetheart," Frank cut in. "We've been chasing this for years. I know a part of you is just itching to end all of this."
"It might help us find him faster. Do you really want to spend another ten years pulling at threads?" Matt added.
You closed your eyes, hands clenching at your sides to control your anger. It grated at you when they ganged up on you like this, but your anger was more because they were right and you knew it. You hated it, but they were right.
It was Billy who intervened, pulling you again to hug you from behind. His hold was firmer than before, aimed more to calm your shaking body. His voice came out calm, but resolute. His first priority was always making sure you were okay and you obviously weren't okay with this.
"You heard the lady. It's a no."
Frank and Matt sighed and shook their heads, but backed off. They weren't about to push you about this no matter how much they knew this would help you. They'll try again to convince you later, but they weren't optimistic. It was fortunate for them that there was more than just one stubborn person in the room.
"Please," Steve interrupted. You had almost forgotten that there were other people in the room. Almost. "We need your help. They have someone who keeps getting in our way and every time we get close he either fights us long enough for the trail to grow cold or leads us on wild goose chases. We can't let that serum be available to whoever can pay for it."
He didn't know what it was that he said that made all of your heads snap in his direction. Your eyes in particular were suddenly wild with barely restrained fury. He would take it. At least he had your attention.
"We can't let that happen, Nemesis," he finished, making sure to use your preferred name. Anything to possibly get himself into your good graces.
"Do you have a name?" you ground out.
"What?"
"A name, Steve. Do you know who this guy is?"
"By the way he fights he seems to be a merc too. Looks like military background though from where I'm not sure," he said slowly, carefully choosing his words in the hopes of you changing your mind. "He goes by Salvacion."
"We're in."
Earth's Mightiest was stunned at the sudden reversal of your decision. As firm as you had rejected the offer, you were jumping at it now with the addition of your own team.
"Let's get one thing straight though, Cap," you began, the rage still burning in your eyes like wildfire. "My team and I will work with you. It's all of us or none of us. We'll help you lock up the syndicates and destroy the serum. We'll play nice, but Salvacion is mine."
Steve took a deep breath, relieved that you had agreed but also deeply concerned at your visceral reaction to a name. He had to ask.
"Why?"
"Because that's the motherfucker who killed my sister."
