tachigin + "i guess i should go." and/or montcott + "tell me the truth." 👀💞
no "or" always "and" lkjlkjslkfj
sooo kinda post-vampirism arc tachigin? (at least those are the vibes) and something that will made its way to the montcott one-shot
tachigin + “i guess i should go”
“I… guess I should go.” Hearing Tachihara speak like that, without the usual cockyness and even sort of embarrassed felt odd. Wrong. Maybe funny, in a different situation.
But now it wasn’t, or at least Gin wasn’t in the mood for laughing or teasing him. Not after all that had happened, not after what had been revealed.
“No.” As fast as if they were on the battlefield, Gin’s hand closed around Tachihara’s wrist with enough insistence he didn’t dare move, not except for getting closer to her as the grasp pleaded for. And yet, he was moving very carefully, as if one wrong step would make Gin change their mind. “But no more bullshit either.”
Tachihara instantly nodded.
“Yeah, I swear. I fuckin’ swear.”
montcott + “tell me the truth”
“Tell me the truth, then.” Lucy said, arms crossed, and Louisa had to gather all her courage in order to not give in to the inside voice suggesting to flee; she owed a proper explanation, at least.
“I was… asking him for advice. Relationship advice, to be more specific.”
“To… to our resident cryptid?” A faint smile started appearing on the redhead’s face, after saying so. “Though I’m not sure I can still say ‘our’, since you’re the only one who’s still currently part of the Guild, but--” She shrugged.
“I had… no conventional doubt.” Louisa shrugged as well. “Besides, I got surprisingly good insight, believe it or not.”
“Yeah? Cool, then. And tell me, can I ask who’s the lucky one that has you all worried?”
Well… there were worse ways to do it, right?

Book haul at HPB
First, here's a pic of everything.
Tumblr media
Here, you can see each of the P. G. Wodehouse titles I got. Never bought Jeeves and Wooster books before, but this should be a great read. The BBC series was hilarious, what I recall seeing when I was a kid. Always adored Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry; in fact, I already have books written by them, too. Also got a couple Jane Austen titles and a Fyodor Dostoevsky that are part of a special edition series.
Tumblr media
Then I got a bunch of books in this gorgeous special edition collection by Chiltern Publishing. I already had Jane Eyre and a couple other titles in this series, so I hope I don't have any extra copies of anything. I don't think so, but I'll have to unbox my books to find out for sure. I'm a bit worried that I might already have a copy of Wuthering Heights....
Tumblr media
And then these books that are more random. I already had books 1 and 2 of Parasyte, so now I also have book 3. Then I already had Baking Yesteryear by B. Dylan Hollis, but this is a signed copy! The Philip Pullman book is a collection of his essays about the writing process. The Devil's Dictionary by Ambrose Bierce is considered by some to be one of the 100 greatest masterpieces of American literature. And then Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is the one book I actually went there for. 😅 Too bad they didn't have a pretty copy, but that's ok. Maybe Chiltern will release one later. 🤔

I was only allowed twelve answers and tried to include her best-known works. Alcott was a prodigious writer. Her published pieces continue to be rediscovered, under her own name and pen names like A. M. Banard. If I missed your favorite, please say so in the reblogs, comments, or tags. Let us celebrate Alcott and remember her contribution to the written word!

He is basically adopted by Miss Celia and her brother, Thorny, and while he is grateful for their kindness, it’s difficult for Ben to adapt to a country life after all the excitement and thrills of traveling with the circus. Let's not forget Frances Hodgson Burnett who wrote The Secret Garden!
Louisa May Alcott, who wrote Little Women!
Dianna Wynne Jones, who wrote Howls Moving Castle!
Or, who I grew up on, L. M. Montgomery, who wrote Emily of New Moon, Anne of Green Gables and the Blue Castle, to name a few!
Tumblr media
Can’t believe Jane Austen wrote Pride and Prejudice in the 2000s
And in 2015 Emily Brontë released literary clsssic Wuthering Heights
Thank God someone paved the way for them…
