Maybe, but from what I think this scene shows, Oden is trying to save Shinobu from being captured along with them by denying any relations to her. And since she had only joined them for this battle it seems they got away with it.

Yeah, you’re probably right. I took another look at the scene with this in mind and it definitely sounds like he could be protecting her. Especially since she doesn’t seem too happy with this outcome. If she was the traitor she might seem a little happier.
