I draw things I like in my comics and realized that I have not really drawn anything paranormal, as much as I have loved it since kid and had my own experiences. This was unintentionally also seasonal themed lol.

I love to draw Alrick with Lou-Lou because a) he's always super expressive around her b) they seem to lit each others inner dork whenever in the same vicinity.

I just want to say the line "It's not her I'm thinking about but a mental image I've created of someone unknown." is so amazing. I relate to it so much and it's nice to see it be articulated so perfectly. DHD countuines to be my favorite series on webtoon! Hope you have a nice day!

It was important to me that Alrick understands that you simply can't know someone after a few meetings only but your beliefs of the said person are based on your own imagination (and expectations and feelings) only. Daydreaming when you have a crush is simply you living in your head with the imaginative person, not with the real person. I'm sure Kizzie, as a mature woman, also understands that her views of Alrick are just her views of Alrick.

Sure, day dreaming crushes can lead to a stable relationship but what I want to underline in Death-Head's Deal is that it is a journey to learn to know someone. Whether a love interest or an old, forgotten friend. Then, you can decide if this is the person who matches your values and needs and life. While the world of DHD is imaginative, I try to stay down the reality with it when it comes to complex questions like relationships, psychology, human behavior, hardships etc.

Lou-Lou is related to this same theme, as she has been in an abusive relationship, where she loved the mental image of her partner and thus stayed with him, despite the abuse.

So, they are in the same boat, Lou-Lou and Alrick, just in a different ends of the boat.
