Including the ‘I go wherever I want’ attitude,” the blue one cackles. “This explains why you get along with them so effortlessly…”

I decided to go through my WIPs from the currently longest to the currently shortest, and there were no silly happenings in Happy Endings... but THREE in Chao Care 101. So, you get two quotes for being the fastest asker 😌

who's criticising the cast?? wtfff? they're the highlight of the show fr. they're absolutely acting their asses off. the show has many problems, which is disappointing as a long term fan. but the actors are definitely not one of them.

soooo many people bestie. Comments sections on this app and the totally legal streaming site I’m watching the show on are just rife with people either thinly veiling or just outright saying racist remarks about casting Annabeth as a Black girl. I’m fucking sick of it.

I think the kids are doing well with the meager script they’re getting. There are some scenes done so well but others where the amount of dialogue is just,,, horrendous and makes the exposition seem to drag on even longer.

Frankly even as a long time fan I don’t *personally* care about certain elements of the book being delivered exactly as they were on the screen — that’s an impossible ask for an adaption, and I like seeing what they change and adapt for a new audience. I think I’ll have to wait till the end of the season to see what changes worked and what ones didn’t since it’s still too early to tell with some of them! But, just finished ep 5 and I liked the chair/bargaining scene.

I think so far my biggest complaint is honestly the cinematography/CGI. It feels like they’re trying to avoid doing anything remotely cool and none of the monsters or effects look great, and the cinematography feels flat. Here’s hoping the lotus casino eats next week!

So here is an age/design comparison.

Lotus was rather serious and dutiful as a small child. She felt as the heiress to the Sol Dimension throne, she must prepare to be as strong as her mothers... Even with Amy and Blaze’s reassurance that she was far too young to hold that kind of responsibility to herself... she still strove to make them proud.

However, after meeting and befriending Sonic and Shadow’s son, Terios, Lotus learned to take things more in stride, and she loosened up with his help. The two of them became inseparable, and the bestest of friends.

As a teen, Lotus more resembles that of her hedgehog mother, Amy. She is fiery and passionate about her morals, and will do her damndest to protect anybody in need. She is also very in tune with nature, and shows love for all life. She can also get a little heated if pushed a bit too far...

hey hey hey! i illustrated for this fanfic collaboration of when marnie was there x sonic the hedgehog. it honestly made me tear up a bit. i hope you enjoy it :)

the process behind this piece is actually mixed media! \(￣︶￣*\))

the background was all traditional watercolor used like oil paint on bristol paper. then, i took a picture and digitally tweaked it to match the saturation of a digital painting. after that, it was all painting on digital from then on :D

just some more filters and color adjustments and pow! mixed media painting. feel free to use these techniques for any piece you do :)

You cannot tell me that Nico Di Angelo is not a die hard Shadow the Hedgehog fan.

The Di Angelo's where in the lotus casino, which is filled with video games, until about 2005-2006 or so. Sonic Adventure 2 came out in 2001 and the Shadow the Hedgehog game came out in 2005.

Nico's entire revenge/grudge arc in BOTL is EXACTLY some Shadow the Hedgehog shit.

I fully believe the only reason Nico didn't have a red streak dyed in his hair is because Bianca wouldn't let him. This kid bought the closest thing he could find to Shadow's sneakers.

Thalia 100% makes fun of him for listening to Crush 40. He has threatened to kill Leo over an intense discussion of who the best hedgehog is.
