Li Lianhua not putting his head against fdb's neck is such an interesting detail to me bc cheng yi himself is a stickler for realism and detail (eg in IS when his character passed out he made sure not to use his arm to cushion his fall), so unless llh was in fact not fully unconscious during scene, there's nothing else that can explain why he isn't fully limp against fdb

And I'm more inclined to believe that llh has some semblance of consciousness here, half bc medically I don't think llh would actually be in a full in coma during this scene, and half bc despite everything, llh still has lxy's pride engraved in his bones. He might be too weak to stand or even talk at the moment, but there's some part of him that's too proud to accept having to fully lean on and rely on someone, a mentality that extends even to the very last moments of the show where he'd rather run off and die on his own than have people who care about him watch him fully loose his senses and mind. So hence, llh being unwilling to go fully limp and rest his head against fdb's shoulder, because he wants as much independence and pride in a way as he possibly can in this situation, even if it's just holding his head up by his own will

it's so funny to hear people saying "the white lotus is so slow" like every season hasn't taken its time setting everything up. sorry the brothers aren't fucking quick enough for your liking, but it's gotta have more build up for it to have its intended impact.

Okay I was waiting for the whole season to play out to judge, but this season of White Lotus was kind of a mess.

It lacked identity. First season was a proof of concept about class, money and exploitation. Second season was about temptation and trust. This season was….mist. I can name a bunch of different themes and motives, but none of them came together.

Can I ask for a recommendation for a character I'm writing? I'm looking for Rich People Sports Cars but I'm out of my depth outside of like Toyota and Chevy lol… She values function over form, but her budget is essentially unlimited and wouldn't hesitate to take advantage of that. She is also a skilled mechanic so she would choose cars that could be easily tinkered with/customized (and wouldn't really be bothered about repair concerns due to this + the aforementioned budget). She has a soft spot for older models that are quirky or overlooked, but definitely also likes modern cars that Go Vroom Very Fast. If you could give me any recs I would appreciate it!! And perhaps a relevant niche opinion or two to be overly passionate about, if you've got any? lol. Thank you I love your blog!! <3

LOTUS. GIVE HER A LOTUS. suuuuuuper underappreciated sports cars, been around for a very long time. they’re known for being barebones, lightweight, incredibly agile, and absolutely wicked on a track. for an older model i would go esprit turbo

very cool, sick as hell modded, sound phenomenal. expensive but not so expensive and rare that it’s the end of the world if they get a little beat up. if money is no object for her this would 100% be my go to
