New AU! Well, it's part of my whole Loth-Werewolf AU, I just really wanted to start writing the bit with a little puppy Ezra, so, I did that. This takes place ~10 before rebels.

Stewjoni people are all werewolves, even prim and “that’s so uncivilized” Obi-Wan Kenobi, but it doesn’t usually affect him much at all, because the artificial full moon on Coruscant doesn’t trigger his transformation -- he spends most of his time on the planet and almost never experiences his “wolf” side as any travel he does falls on days when there isn’t a full moon, so most people don’t even know he’s Stewjoni.

This changes when Anakin becomes his padawan because now he’s taking him off-planet on missions so often that he’s experiencing way more partial transformations. He has enough control that even on full moon nights, he doesn’t go full wolf, but his instincts take over and he becomes more violent, more protective, more sensitive to smells along with minor physical changes when his control slips.

It’s still not much of a problem. They just schedule their off-planet trips when there won’t be a full moon on their destination planet, and if there is, Obi-Wan deals with it the best he can, and Anakin deals with an overprotective and coddling Master for a few days.

But then the Clone Wars break out, and scheduling their trips to planets based on that planet’s lunar cycles is impossible because there are so many other priorities; Obi-Wan and his troops need to go where the fighting is; no one is able to predict how long a siege would take anyway.

And then Dooku’s seen on a planet in the Mid-Rim. Obi-Wan and Anakin are deployed to capture him immediately. The only problem is this planet has like. eight moons, and at least one is always full. No one realizes how much the moons are affecting Obi-Wan until Dooku taunts Anakin about the loss of his arm, and Obi-Wan responds by ripping his throat out with his teeth.

The Bad Batch is completely out of luck when it comes to raising a child, now they have to raise a shy, nervous, self deprecating, possibly traumatized Loth-Werewolf child while on the run from any threats to their small pack. They come to learn that they don't actually know how to be wolves off the battlefield, and things just keep getting worse for them. Omega has spent her whole life pretending to not be what she is, because to the Kaminoans, she is wrong. And that shit takes a long time to work out. But she doesn't need to be a problem, and it's not like it's that important! She and her brothers have to navigate a galaxy, run by those extremely discriminatory towards their kind and avoid the Empire who begins to hunt them for unknown reasons. The Loth-Clones get unexpected aid from a former Jedi contact, and Omega forms a relationship with a lone wolf, who knows all too well about her troubles.

Moon beast (Captain Rex x reader) (Werewolf au)

Summary: Rex got bitten by a strange creature during a mission, leaving him wounded and unexpectedly transforming him into a beast.

A/n: Hi, this was a request but Tumblr has been messing with my post and deleted some asks. Well, anyways, this was really fun to write and I hope you like it as much as I do. As always thanks for reading.

It was almost midnight when it all started.

The boys had returned from the battlefield a couple of hours ago, defeated and wounded.

The mission to liberate the planet from separatist occupation turned out to be a trap, leaving as its consequences the loss of at least half a battalion of troopers and a whole squadron of starfighters.

Rex was among the wounded, bitten by some sort of beast. And now, as he rested in the medbay, he felt … strange.

Something was off.

He could feel it in his bones, he could feel them moving, growing. He felt how every inch of his body burned hotter than mustafar lava. This was no good. He felt dizzy and soon allusions started to fill his mind giving him glims of images of the woods, the moon and a beast with sharp teeth and killer eyes. 

Rex shook his head in a desperate attempt to get rid of the images that haunted his mind, grabbing the sheets trying to hold all the pain he was feeling and regain some of the control of his body but instead felt his own nails digging on the flesh of his palms. The world around him started to get blurry and all Rex could feel was pain, it was like something was destroying him from within.  

A new and more powerful wave of pain ran through his body, enough to make him finally lose all the control as a scream left his throat. Then everything turned black.

At the other side of the ship, you were working on a very damaged y-wing, doing your best to repair the poor piece of metal that used to fly, but your mind was in another place, you were worried about Rex. He was wounded and alone in the infirmary, exhausted after the mission. You wished you could be there with him.

Suddenly the sirens of the hangar went on, getting you out of your thoughts.

Everyone on the hangar started to question if the ship was under attack since no one gave the "Battle stations" order, then the voice of Admiral Yularen came through the speakers:

"Attention to all stations. There has been a security break at the medical bay, the intruder is armed and dangerous. If you spot it, shoot to kill! I repeat, there has been a security break…."

"Rex" was all you could say before rushing to the medbay. 

Your  head was plagued with horrible scenarios about what could have happened as you ran through the maze that was the Resolute. Wishing nothing had happened to him, hoping he was safe.

When you arrived at the medbay you were greeted by destruction. Everything was broken and there were sharp claws marked on the walls. What kind of thing could leave such marks?  Well it certainly wasn't a battle droid. 

You desperately searched for any remaining troopers in hopes to find your beloved Captain, without luck.

You were about to keep looking for Rex when the lights went off.

The darkness only lasted a few seconds before the emergency lights came in, followed by the sound of blaster fire and clones screaming, not far from where you were. 

Something was killing the soldiers, something dangerous, something wild.

Fear spread through your body and unconsciously ran in the opposite direction, turning in every corner that came your way, trying to put as much distance  as possible between you and whoever was on board. But it was useless.

The monster was chasing after you, just like a hunter after its prey.

Your feet tripped over something, making you hit the hard durasteel of the floor. As you tried to get up you heard steps approaching along with a growl that send panic to your whole self. Gathering all your courage, you turned around as slowly as you could and then you saw it.

Big sharp teeth sticking out of its mouth, if that could be called a mouth; claws as sharp as a vibroblade that matched with the marks you saw on the medbay; the monster was covered from head to toe in a soft white fur and had bright golden eyes that seemed threatening yet familiar. At first glance it looked like a loth-wolf but then it stood on two legs, like a human would. It was as tall as a Wookie, maybe a bit taller but twice as menacing.

You were frozen in your place, incapable of moving and afraid to do so.

The beats took a couple of steps towards you, hunger and murder on its eyes. "This is it" you thought.

But then when it was mere inches from you it stopped, looking at you instead with kindness and compassion almost in a tender way. 

The killer eyes you saw seconds ago were replaced with a pair of loving ones.

Something was in front of you, it was a beast, a monster, yet in his eyes all you could see was a human, a lover. 

Rex.

Your eyes widened open at the realization. It was him, but how? Your hand unconsciously reached to touch his face but before your hand could get close to him a blaster shot came out of nowhere almost hitting Rex's shoulder, causing him to let out a roar that sent shivers down your spine.

"No!" You screamed. "Wait!"

Soon more troopers came storming the hallway, blasting your lover who desperately ran away.

You tried to go after him but were stopped by an arm around your waist. 

"Hey, easy there, (y/n)." you heard Jesse say as you struggled to get out of his grasp. 

"Let me go!" 

"That thing is dangerous" he said pointing in the direction Rex was seconds ago.  

"He's not!" you barked at him, "Jesse, please, let me go!" you cried out.

"The kriff is wrong with you?" 

"You don't understand." you told him finally break free, "It's Rex"

Jesse looked at you confused and surprised for a moment, not really knowing how to process the information you gave him. 

"What?" He asked.

"It's Rex, Jesse, I know it"

"No. That's impossible, it can't be him."

"You have to trust me." You begged

"How…" he was interrupted by another trooper that came running from the hall.

"Sir, we just received a report from the other sectors, there are no signs of the animal" informed the trooper. 

Jesse's gaze traveled from the trooper to you.

"Go to an escape pod" he told you."And leave as soon as possible."

"But-"

"Go!" he ordered you before turning back to his brothers, ready to command. "Alright, that thing is somewhere in the ship, there are a lot of places where it could be hiding" he told them "our priority is find it and execute it before it kills someone else." 

You paralyzed in your place. They were going to kill Rex, his own brother and they didn't even know it was him. The idea of losing him made you realize you had to find him before they did. 

A thousand questions started running through your head, questions such as Where in the world could he be? Where he could be hiding? Where to start looking? 

The answer was clear as kyber crystal. 

The place where you and your beloved Captain found each day, a place without cameras, away from curious eyes, a place where you could share your love without worrying about being caught.

"He must be there." you thought and hurried to that place that saw your love bloom.

When you arrived you found him curled into a ball, leaning against the wall, protected by the shadows. He seemed conflicted, as if he was battling with himself and the wolf, fighting over control.

It was heartbreaking seeing him like this but it was a relief knowing he was fine.

"Rex?" 

He looked at you, growling a bit and baring his teeth, a warning to stay away. 

"It's okay" you said softly "I'm not gonna hurt you" you raised your hands to prove you were unarmed "See? It's me, (y/n)."

He seemed to recognize you, and slowly, Rex started to calm down a bit.

You took one, maybe two steps towards him. He backed off.

"It's fine, you can come out now" you encouraged him, extending a hand for him to take. Nothing.

The more you tried to touch him or get near him, the more he retreated. 

"Love, please, I need to get you out of here before someone else find you"

Rex shook his head in response, getting further away from you. Was he afraid of you? 

He had killed his own brothers, murdered them without hesitation. Even though he was unconscious most of the time, he knew what he was doing, he knew what this new form could do and how dangerous it was.

Rex wasn't afraid of you, oh no, he was afraid of himself, of the monster he became. 

"It's okay, you are not going to hurt me" you told him as if you knew what was going on in his head. "I trust you"

The captain looked at you for a moment, and then he let you get closer to him.

Your hand carefully traveled all along his arm, feeling the soft texture of his fur, all the way to his large new face. Recognising and memorizing every detail of this new version of him, it felt familiar. His hazel eyes focused on you until they started to slowly close as he began to relax under your touch.

You kept gently stroking his head, the beating of your hearts softly echoing on the room. And for a moment the world outside seemed to fade away, the chaos of the Resolute, the clones screaming and running around, all of that disappeared. It was just you and him, human or wolf, you loved him.

You looked at him for a moment before pulling him into a tight hug. His fur trickling on your face made you smile but then you felt yourself melting under his warmth, closing your eyes and enjoying the moment.

"I love you, Rex" you mumbled against his chest, "I love you with all my soul and I want to be with you in this form or any other, it doesn't matter." you assured him, feeling the way his heart beated against yours. "I'll love you just the same, I promise"

The captain felt his heart full of love and hope. He was worried that you might have been scared of him, or that you might never want to see him because, who could love a monster like him? Now that he was one. Just the fact that you were there with him  made him feel loved and for that  he couldn't be more thankful, but he also couldn't help but wonder, what did he do to deserve someone as caring and loving as you. 

The fears and insecurities left his body and were replaced with peace, love. And as those negative thoughts left he felt the beast leaving too. He felt his body slowly changing, not painfully as the other time but more natural. Human again.

"I love you, cyare" 

His voice took you by surprise.

You were so immersed in your thoughts and his warmth that you didn't notice that he had changed, shifted back to his normal form.

"Rex." you breathed, looking at him, tears starting to form in your eyes as you placed a hand on his cheek. 

"Hello, love." he said simply, earning a little giggle from you. He pulled you close and rested his forehead on yours, and finally you felt the tears rolling down your face.

He looked exhausted and sick, like he could faint in any second.

Your beloved Captain began to shiver with the absence of the fur that a few minutes ago covered his body, leaving him now naked and exposed to the coldness of the ship. You noticed the fresh little scratches and bruises that decorated his tanned skin. You couldn't even imagine what kind of hell he went through.

You stayed like this a few minutes, before he spoke again, blame and sorrow dancing on his tone.

"It was my fault" His voice cracked. "I knew what I was doing while I was that beast, I just couldn't stop. And now my brothers are gone." His gaze traveled to the floor and you saw a tear rolling down his cheek. "I could have hurt you too."

"(Y/n), how many brothers did I-"

"No, Rex, don't do that" you stopped him, "it wasn't your fault"

"Rex-" you murmured, placing a hand on the side of his face.

"I would never forget myself if anything happens to you because of me." He told you, his hazel eyes looking right into yours.

"Hey, it's okay" you assured him, "I know you would never hurt me, don't worry about that"

"But what if that thing comes back? What if I can't control it? What if I'm not able to snap out of it again?"

"Hey, hey, easy" you said "Look, I don't have the answers for that, I have no idea what caused this or how to get rid of it, I don't even know what to do." It was true, you had more questions than real answers yet you wanted to be there for him no matter what.

"We'll figure a way to control this, okay?" You murmured gently stroking his face, meaning every single word. "Whatever this is, we're going to face it, together."

I love all of your AUs- I haven't seen anyone talk about the werewolf AU yet, but I adore it, fluffy werewolf Kanan and Ezra is SUCH an adorable idea- but Backbone is the one that I stayed up until deities-only-know in the morning reading, and then continued reading the second I woke up till I finished. It drew me in so deeply I just COULDN'T put it down, which rarely happens. I'm quite excited for Crown, since S4 left me DEVASTATED and I NEED a good ending

Shapeshifter/werewolf AU is one I love (and I remain extremely bemused that it’s the thing that came true in canon, in a very sideways sort of way), but haven’t worked on for a while since I have to be in such a specific headspace for it.

Backbone is probably my fave too -- there’s a fair bit of behind the scenes that I will never talk about publicly (though we’re now nearly four years on from when things went pear-shaped), but it’s probably one of the most personal stories I’ve ever written, in that sideways fiction kind of way.  I did a lot of the prep for it publicly on Tumblr back in summer 2015 in a way I’ve never done before or since (and will almost not certainly do again), and I’m always bemused that it started out as an “evil is sexy” story that pretty quickly descended into “evil makes your parents very, very disappointed.”  I think some later readers haven’t realized how early on it was written -- I was working on it before The Siege of Lothal aired in June 2015. Because it was written through the entire remaining three seasons of the show and was still very, very much a season 1 story, I always felt like I was playing catch-up to canon and/or having to make the conscious decision to ignore later developments.  This gets me dinged most for Kallus, but I do genuinely think Backbone!Kallus is consistent with season 1 Kallus.

Crown will definitely have a good ending! Also Loth-wolves, those are very important to me personally.  It’s a hard story to write sometimes because I have a lot of emotions, and then also one of the things that’s different now than in 2015 when I started Backbone is that a lot more has happened in canon, so I’m reacting to more things now than I was then.  (This is also true for Lair.)

Hi and hello, Meren here. I’m here in search of a few different roleplay ideas that are just nagging to be written but I am also down to discuss and see if we can come up with something we may both be interested in pursuing. I’ll get a few of the usual tidbits out of the way, first, before moving on to the plots.

«♦♦» I have been around roleplaying for over 15 years now, so that means I am old (MSN chats were a thing when I started). I prefer to write with those who are at least 18, although I am more comfortable with writers who are 21+ due to adult themes and content. «♦♦»

«♦♦» I don’t have a set paragraph or word limit when responding. It is what it is. Just please give me more than one line to work with. «♦♦»

«♦♦» I roleplay in 3rd person, past tense only and only roleplay through email because email is the easiest way for me to keep up with roleplays. I can be convinced to try Google Docs, but I have never used it so I may need talking through the etiquette of roleplaying over Docs. I do have Google Hangouts to discuss stuff in if need be as well as Discord. «♦♦»

«♦♦» My main characters are female. I do not require doubling and will not double. I do f/m and f// pairings. For side characters, I play either gender. «♦♦»

«♦♦» I prefer fandom roleplay over an original setting. That said, I have no qualms with taking fandom stuff and doing AU lines. I love it, actually, and am more than happy to pursue an AU version of characters. I will always choose fandom over original when it comes to roleplay, though. «♦♦»

«♦♦» Romance is not required. Let me say that again: romance is not required. I just like weaving stories, and not all stories require a romance plot. But a couple of them will involve romance because I do like romance okay? Also enjoy angst and fluff and all that jazz. «♦♦»

Now to the plots.

This is the highest on my list currently. I am offering up Karen Page for a Frank Castle (or anyone else really from the Netflix MCU shows but mostly give me Frank). ♦♦Misc: This will be as canon-compliant as possible up through the events of The Punisher season 1 for Karen. After that, I am game for diverging from canon and going our own route with Karen and Frank (from here on out referred to as Kastle). I would like some fluff at first, watching Karen and Frank navigate their complicated relationship as Frank works on figuring out his life after. I’m down with bringing in Jigsaw later on and doing our own take on what may happen in season two or even Fisk as well since he poses a problem for Frank and Karen. Or just stick to fluff and happiness with angst and hurt and comfort, of course. I just want to write this and appease my inner Punishing Paralegal OTP desires. I also enjoyed Frank and David’s relationship and bonding, so I am totally okay and down with throwing David at Frank and letting the snark and sass and smartassedry ensue between them. I am also interested in pursuing AU lines with the characters (reversed roles where Karen was the Punisher? Kastle in a universe where there is no Punisher or Daredevil, living separate lives but brought together? Some other AU-crossover thing with some other show? Possibilities are endless here and I am game for all of them). I am Kastle trash, not gonna lie. Gimme gimme gimme. tl;dr: I have Karen, I need Frank. Or anyone else to play Karen against honestly. Let’s do this. Obviously m/f for romance.

This has always been my #1 love fandom-wise, no lie. I’m interesting in pitting my Noldor healer, Nessavendë, against just about anyone she would run in to in her time. She spans from the Light of the Two Trees to the Fourth Age, so there is a lot of wiggle room with her, generally, because Nessa is old but she is also kinda cranky. She would have more dealings with other elves and humans, not so much dwarves or hobbits, so just keep that in mind. ♦♦Misc: Oh yes, this desire is back (c'mon, it never really left). I’m down for playing her against originals and canon characters - both well-known canon and little-known canon. Platonic relationships, friendships, hateships, romantic relationships, bring it all on. Nessa can go m/f for romance or f//. This can run the gamut because of the history that Middle-earth is entrenched in (some good ol’ freezing times in the Helcaraxë, perhaps? Wars? Fights over lands? It’s all there). In the Second and Third Age, Nessa does travel often among the human settlements, so she is flexible in that regard which means she has dealings with not-so-savory characters as well as the normal savory characters. I am also game for AU lines (what ifs, things like what if Fëanor’s sons all didn’t die horrible deaths, etc) and also putting them into a modern setting of some sort. Let’s see what we can come up with for her, hm?

My second Tolkien offering is a little-history-known canon character by the name of Lothíriel. She is the youngest child of Imrahil, Prince of Dol Amroth, and she becomes the Queen of Rohan at the end of the Third Age/beginning of the Fourth Age when she weds Éomer. ♦♦Misc: Well, unlike the previously listed Tolkien desire, this one is a little more limited since her timeline is in the Third Age/War of the Ring era. I am game for playing her against a plethora of characters though - her cousins, her brothers, her future husband, or any original character you might have she would come into contact with which includes her future subjects. Let’s see what we can come up with, shall we? Loth is only m/f for romance plotlines but I am down for all other things including friendships. Same for Nessa, I am interested in putting her into a modern setting as well and working something out.

»What else I may be interested in doing.«

Currently the three above-mentioned characters/plots/what have you are my most strongly desired to roleplay. However, I may be interested in a zombie apocalypse roleplay or Werewolf: The Apocalypse stuff. The top three take priority, though.

It's from a chapter in the Rebles prequel part of my Loth-Werewolf AU that I'm working on and most of the dialogue in that scene is definitely not based on "Little Wolf" from Epic the Musical. (it is, it 100% is)

A Secret Guardian

Summary: Kuniya(oc) weighs the pros and cons of looking after a young, orphaned and recently abandoned Ezra Bridger.

Word count: 750

Warnings: mentions of death, abandonment, betrayal.

A/N: If you haven't read stuff from my Loth-Werewolf AU, I suggest looking at this post for an explination of how it works. But quick summary, Loth-Wolves can change into a bipedal, humoid form and Ezra's mom is one of them. His dad is still just a human. So fluffy puppy Ezra!

Kuniya supposed xe could have just left the pup alone.

He wasn't part of xyr pack, even if he was part of the larger clan-pack, and he seemed to be handling himself just fine.

His father's species gave him a degree of safety he wouldn't have otherwise. To all others, he was just a human Loth Werewolf.

Sure there were rumors about his mother never going full human and what that could mean, but they had been easily brushed aside with her injury and the statement of that sort of transformation being too rough on her "human" body. Her sellout purple eyes were equally easy to explain away with some distant non-human ancestor.

Kuniya snickered, Mira had always been brilliantly clever, masterfully stealthy and impossibly strong willed. Or stubborn.

Maybe a little too stubborn. Xe thought.

It was her stubbornness not to abandon the settlers and come back to the safety of the pack that led her to her current fate. Arrested and taken away and most likely dead.

That stubbornness had orphaned her son.

She easily could have done the same, or even better work if she had left that cursed, noise, rancid smelling city. She could have turned her husband, the human would walk through lava for her, and raised her pup without issue with the safety of a pack, could have given him the support and family he needed. Loths didn't do well in small numbers.

Hell, Mira frequently visited even though she supposedly lived in the city with her husband.

Loths needed other Loths.

But, xe knew the clan-pack leaders had stopped questioning Mira's decisions long ago.

And it wasn't like xe was biologically related, (xe was as far from the pup as one could be without being from an entirely different clan) and therefore more obligated to take the pup in. Xe certainly wouldn't be expected to care for the pup themself, at barely fourteen, xe wasn't old enough yet.

So Kuniya could totally leave the pup and wait til some of his actual family came and claimed him. He had met them before and liked them well enough.

They would certainly do far better than the settler Mira had entrusted her son with. The filthy rodian had turned tail and ran straight to the Empire first chance he got.

The pup's pack would come for him.

It was fine.

The pup would be fine.

So why do I keep coming back?

Kuniya of course, knew the enormous risk of trotting into a city as a wolf in broad daylight, and while the blank slate-ness of humans made it easy for xyr to pass for one, xyr eyes and other less human features would give them away. Yet here xe was, crouching on the roofs with only a hooded cloak to hide them, risking everything to obsessively watch over a pup that wasn't even part of their pack.

To the rest of the galaxy, and most importantly, to the Empire, true Loth-Wolves were extinct. It was important to keep it that way while the species recovered and guarded their homeworld. And xe was risking it for this one pup.

Kuniya hadn't even been particularly close to Mira. Her son was hardly an acquaintance to xyr.

Xe felt that pesky tug towards the child again, the signal he unknowingly gave off. Since his birth he had been suspected of being gifted, all of them had some gift, others had it stronger. He was strong, growing stronger with age. Less controlled too. He was painting a target on his back by existing.

Kuniya knew there was more than that compelling xyr to watch over this pup, to take care of something so small and fragile that had been abandoned. To protect him.

Xe knew the pup's situation reminded xyr of xyr own.

To be young and have your parents stripped from you was something xe wasn't sure one could recover from. Though alone for a bit, xe had been quickly reunited with xyr pack, the wound scarred neatly. This pup had been alone for longer and betrayed. If xe didn't do something, that scar wouldn't heal properly.

And that was why xe was watching over this pup, just to keep an eye on him until he was found by his family and taken to safety, away from the leering eyes and taunts of those other than them.

And if that part of the pack was too busy or unable to provide for another pup, well, Kuniya certainly wouldn't mind having a little brother.

Damn, I really like giving traumatized children less than stable caregivers.

Anyway, what do you think of this?

I am very excited to see how this story developes and goes and for once, I have a concrete end goal in mind. So I know where it's going I just gotta take it there.
