my predictions for future storytelling realms along the lines of the neverafter and the endless nights im 100% sure about:
realm based on the works of shakespeare (though i don’t think they’ll interact much with this one for purposes of anachronism)
a world based on irish/celtic folklore. smart moneys on this one showing up. with the fairy heavy plot and the fact that brennan is famously extremely irish, it’s coming. (i suspect all fairies originate from this realm in one way or another)
something to do with the epic of gilgamesh, the worlds oldest written story, and other surviving mesopotamian works. i see this world missing huge chunks and having very few versions left, but has survived by the skin of its teeth because against all odds people still remember it. alternatively, it was dead and gone after it was lost, and either archaeologists finding the story created a new version, or it was gone forever
realms i think are possibilities if the story goes the way it seems to be going so far:
ancient greek / roman mythology
i believe by introducing greek and roman mythology as a realm (foreshadowed imo by the appearance of aesop), these realms will be framed for us the audience as collections of human experience and belief systems, not just fictional stories, which will lead to:
jesus being name dropped yet again
allusions to realms based on various other cultures. specifically stories, not religions, the way that aesops fables teach morals and 1001 arabian nights is reflective of cultural values, but neither tell the stories of religious texts. (i don’t think the story will be extremely involved with these realms for both thematic and cultural sensitivity reasons, also simply bc there’s only so many episodes. it would be cool to see a guest dm run a world based off of non european folklore, rick riordan style). this includes but is not limited to:
different realms representing the traditional stories of ancient china, japan, india, and the pacific islands (all so old and so storied there’s truly endless possibilities for worlds based on them)
different realms representing the traditional stories of the americas (northern, middle, and southern traditions differ greatly from each other, as do all the different groups within the regions)
different realms representing the traditional stories of africa (the birthplace of humanity!! the first stories told around the hearth!!! plus, same as the americas: plenty of places to draw from)
brennan is smarter than me and would communicate this better then im about to, but the oral history tradition of many of these cultures has such huge potential in this story. i really hope to see differences in the storytelling of written histories/oral histories (for instance: hawai’ian hula tells the historical record of the islands of hawai’i! it would be amazing to see how that type of tradition translates to this world
i cant talk about this too much or ill explode, but i really hope they hired consultants and experts and writers to do this world and the history of human story telling justice<3
im doing research now on the possibilities of the mother goose/shahrazad/aesop type narrators (although i suspect that not every realm has a narrator) but i don’t have any examples yet, if you have any ideas please please share them!! im so excited to see where this season goes and to keep sinking my stupid little teeth into all the lore implications of bonafide brennan lee mulligan world building

Canada has long been a draw for people from India's Punjab province seeking new opportunities elsewhere. But has the Canadian dream soured?
It's hard to miss the ardour of Punjab's migrant ambitions when driving through its fertile rural plains.
Billboards promising easy immigration to Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the UK jut out through ample mustard fields.
Off the highways, consultancies offer English language coaching to eager youth.
Single-storey brick homes double up as canvasses for hand-painted mural advertisements promising quick visas. And in the town of Bathinda, hundreds of agents jostle for space on a single narrow street, pledging to speed up the youth's runaway dreams.
For over a century, this province in India's northwest has seen waves of overseas migration; from the Sikh soldiers inducted into the British Indian Army travelling to Canada, through to rural Punjabis settling in England post-independence.
But some, especially from Canada, are now choosing to come back home.
One of those is 28-year-old Balkar, who returned in early 2023 after just one year in Toronto. Citizenship was his ultimate goal when he left his little hamlet of Pitho in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic. His family mortgaged their land to fund his education.
But his Canadian dream quickly lost its allure a few months into his life there.
"Everything was so expensive. I had to work 50 hours every week after college, just to survive," he told the BBC. "High inflation is making many students leave their studies."
Balkar now runs an embroidery business from a small room on one side of the expansive central courtyard in his typical Punjabi home. He also helps on his family's farm to supplement his income.
Opportunities for employment are few and far between in these rural areas, but technology has allowed entrepreneurs like him to conquer the tyranny of distance. Balkar gets the bulk of his business through Instagram.
"I have a good life here. Why should I face hardships there when I can live at home and make good money?" he asks.
The BBC spoke to at least half a dozen reverse migrants in Punjab who shared similar sentiments.
It was also a common refrain in the scores of videos on YouTube shared by Indians who had chosen to abandon their life in Canada and return home. There was a stark difference one young returnee told the BBC between the "rosy picture" immigration agents painted and the rough reality of immigrant life in Toronto and Vancouver.
The "Canada craze" has let up a bit - and especially so among well-off migrants who have a fallback option at home, says Raj Karan Brar, an immigration agent in Bathinda who helps hundreds of Punjabis get permanent residencies and student visas every year.
The desire for a Canadian citizenship remains as strong as ever though among middle- and lower middle-class clients in rural communities.
But viral YouTube videos of students talking about the difficulty in finding jobs and protests over a lack of housing and work opportunities has created an air of nervousness among these students, say immigration agents.
There was a 40% decline in applications from India for Canadian study permits in the second half of 2023, according to one estimate. This was, in part, also due to the ongoing diplomatic tensions between India and Canada over allegations Indian agents were involved in the murder of Canadian Sikh separatist leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar.
There are also hints of deeper cultural factors at play, for a waning Canadian dream among an older generation of Indian migrants.
Karan Aulakh, who spent nearly 15 years in Edmonton and achieved career and financial success, left his managerial job for a comfortable rural life in Khane ki Daab, the village where he was born in 1985. He told the BBC he was upset by LGBT-inclusive education policies in Canada and its 2018 decision to legalise recreational cannabis. Incompatibility with the Western way of life, a struggling healthcare system, and better economic prospects in India were, he said, key reasons why many older Canadian Indians are preparing to leave the country.
"I started an online consultancy - Back to the Motherland - a month and a half ago, to help those who want to reverse migrate. I get at least two to three calls every day, mostly from people in Canada who want to know what job opportunities there are in Punjab and how they can come back," said Mr Aulakh.
For a country that places such a high value on immigration, these trends are "concerning" and are "being received with a bit of a sting politically", says Daniel Bernhard of the Institute of Canadian Citizenship, an immigration advocacy group.
A liberalised immigration regime has been Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's signature policy to counter slowing economic growth and a rapidly aging population.
According to Canada's statistics agency, immigration accounted for 90% of Canada's labour force growth and 75% of population growth in 2021.
International students contribute to over C$20bn ($14.7bn; £11.7bn) to Canada's economy each year, a bulk of them Indians who now make up one in five recent immigrants to the country.
India was also Canada's leading source for immigration in 2022.
The numbers of those leaving are still small in absolute terms with immigration levels at all-time highs in Canada - the country welcomed nearly half a million new migrants each year over the past few years.
But the rate of reverse migration hit a two decade high in 2019, signalling that migrants were "losing confidence" in the country said Mr Bernhard.
Country specific statistics for such emigrants, or reverse migrants, are not available.
But official data obtained by Reuters shows between 80,000 and 90,000 immigrants left Canada in 2021 and 2022 and either went back to their countries, or onward elsewhere.
Some 42,000 people departed in the first half of 2023.
Fewer permanent residents are also going on to become Canadian citizens, according to census data cited by the Institute for Canadian Citizenship. In 2001, 75% of those eligible became citizens. Two decades later, it was 45%.
Canada needs to "restore the value of its citizenship," said Mr Bernhard.
It comes as Canada debates its aggressive immigration targets given country's struggle to absorb more people.
A recent report from National Bank of Canada economists cautioned that the population growth was putting pressure on its already tight housing supply and strained healthcare system.
Canada has seen a population surge - an increase of 1.2 million people in 2023 - driven mostly by newcomers.
The report argued that growth needed to be slowed to an annual increase of up to 500,000 people in order to preserve or increase the standard of living.
There appears to have been a tacit acceptance of this evaluation by policymakers.
Mr Trudeau's Liberal government recently introduced a cap on international student permits that would result in a temporary decrease of 35% in approved study visas.
It's a significant policy shift that some believe may end up further reducing Canada's appeal amid a wave of reverse migrations.

Research and understanding the specifications You should familiarize yourself with the qualifying conditions, supporting documentation, and requirements for a UK visitor visa before beginning your application. A knowledgeable candidate has a higher chance of submitting a winning application.
Accurately fill out the visa application form. Make sure all of the information you enter on your application form is correct and consistent. Inconsistencies or missing details could cast doubt on the application, which could result in a rejection.
Include a formal cover letter. A cover letter clarifies the context and the reason for your visit. It should contain information on your schedule, travel plans, source of funding, and any invitations or sponsorship from UK citizens. The most significant evidence is a letter of support from the best UK immigration consultants such as Aptech Visa.
Demonstrate a strong connection to your country of origin. Visa authorities are looking for proof that you have strong ties to your home country, such as family, job, property ownership, or continuous education, to ensure that you will return there after your visit.
Prove you have enough money for the vacation. Give proof of your financial status, such as pay stubs, bank statements, or savings records, to show that you can sustain yourself during your visit to the UK without using government funding. A big payment should not be made right before submitting your application in an attempt to appear professional. It's concerning!
When providing supporting documentation, be succinct and straightforward. Make sure your documents are logically organized and that the copies are readable. Incorporate translations for documents that are not in English.
Be honest and transparent Don't give your application any inaccurate or deceptive information. Various resources are available to visa officials for information verification, and lying can result in the denial of a visa, difficulties with subsequent applications, or even a ban from the UK.
Apply far in advance of the date you plan to travel. Visa processing times for visits to the UK can differ. To prevent any last-minute problems or delays that can affect your travel arrangements, apply well in advance. It's not necessary to forfeit the remaining validity of your visa because you can ask for it to begin in three months.
Carefully examine your application Before submitting your application, make sure that all the information and papers are correct. Errors and inconsistencies can be found and fixed with the use of a comprehensive review.
Look for a good UK immigration consultant Consult a reliable UK immigration consultant if you have any questions regarding any aspect of your application. Shipping industries in India offer a range of opportunities for motivated individuals
Tumblr media
Shipping, in the broadest sense, refers to the process of transporting goods or goods from one place to another, usually across a body of water such as an ocean, sea, river or canal. This logistics operation is fundamental to global trade and commerce, facilitating the movement of raw materials, finished goods and resources between countries and continents. The journey of the shipping process encompasses a series of steps such as packaging, labeling, loading and transporting the goods to the final destination. With an evolving technological landscape and growing customer expectations, the logistics industry must constantly upgrade to maintain efficiency. It involves collecting shipping information, product packaging and labeling, selecting shipping method and finally preparing necessary documents like invoice, customer declaration etc. This involves ensuring shipment delivery with the customer, effectively handling returns and exchanges, handling lost or damaged packages and responding to customer complaints within stipulated SLAs. The shipping carrier helps provide tracking information such as current location of the package, delivery status and estimated date of delivery which is further shared with the end customer. This involves making constant contact with the carrier to clear any hurdles. About 70% of the value of India’s entire trading is done via marine routes, frights and containers loaded onto carrier vessels. Ships might not be the quickest route but they sure can carry a lot more load at once compared to flights. The main players in this transaction are the seller/shipper, consignee/buyer, shipping company, and the freight forwarder. At this point, a local logistics company will be contracted to offer transport services. Where the consignee is responsible for moving the purchased goods from the seller’s warehouse, it’s far-reaching to use a forwarding company with export haulage services. Haulage services include unloading the goods from the truck when they’re delivered at the forwarder’s premises. A shipping lane is more like a sea road or route which vessels use to sail through. The consignee will be responsible for all the pertinent ocean freight charges. The consignee will then have to work on the import customs clearance part. You can make your career in this field if you are interested in travelling world tour & want to gain knowledge of various places and cultures. To prepare yourself to enter the industry with the right knowledge, shipping management courses are essential. Many companies hire third-party staffing agencies to make hires or use recruitment process outsourcing, which brings in outside recruitment experts to serve as strategic consulting partners. Recruitment is the first step in order to achieve highly qualified employees for the organization. The more successful an organization’s recruitment strategy, the strong the applicants pool, thus, the stronger the resulting hired employees. Consolidation of port capacity and shipping lines is a reality and the pace at which technologies are rolled out could change the shipping cannot only be determined by the scale. The capacity of the sector to lever important technological advances is increasingly important too. This cloud implies that a small number of companies decide the rate at which innovations and efficiencies are rolled out in handling sports. As an integral component of international trade, shipping shapes geopolitical relations and trade policies between nations, influencing alliances, treaties, and rules governing maritime trade. The environmental impact of shipping, including carbon emissions, pollution and ecosystem disruption, has spurred efforts to develop sustainable practices and mitigate its environmental footprint. Technology has the potential to transform even the most traditional industries, and it is difficult to predict how the availability and use of technologies such as autonomous ships, increased use of drones, big data and even blockchain applications will turn supply, demand. Shipping acts as a carrier for cultural exchange, facilitating the movement of people, ideas and cultural artifacts across borders, enriching societies and fostering understanding between different communities worldwide.

How to Invest in Startups for Equity and Make High Returns
The startup world is a breeding ground for innovation and disruption. It's where revolutionary ideas take root and have the potential to blossom into industry giants. As an investor, this presents a unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor of the next big thing. By investing in startups for equity, you can share in their success and potentially reap high returns. However, startup investing is not without its risks. These companies are young and unproven, and there's a high chance of failure.
Tumblr media
This blog will guide you through the process of how to invest in startups for equity, helping you understand the risks and rewards involved, identify promising startups, and navigate the investment landscape.
Understanding Startup Investment
Before diving in, it's crucial to understand the basics of startup investment. Here's a breakdown of key concepts:
Equity: When you invest in a startup for equity, you essentially become a part-owner of the company. In return for your investment, you receive shares in the company. The value of these shares fluctuates with the company's performance. If the startup succeeds, your shares could become significantly more valuable, potentially leading to high returns. However, if the startup fails, your investment could be lost entirely.
Investment Stages: Startups go through various funding stages, each with its own risk profile. Early-stage investments (seed and Series A) carry the highest risk but also the potential for the highest returns. Later-stage investments (Series B and beyond) are generally considered less risky but also offer lower potential returns.
Identifying Promising Startups
Finding the right startups to invest in is crucial for success. Here are some tips to help you identify promising ventures:
Market: Focus on industries with high growth potential. Look for startups that address a clear need in the market and offer a unique solution.
Team: The team behind the startup is one of the most important factors to consider. Invest in companies with passionate, experienced founders who have a proven track record of success.
Product: Analyze the startup's product or service. Is it innovative and well-designed? Does it have a clear value proposition?
Traction: Has the startup achieved any traction? Look for evidence of customer growth, revenue generation, or partnerships with established players.
Investing in Startups: Different Approaches
There are several ways to how to invest in startups for equity. Here's a breakdown of the most common methods:
Angel Investing: Angel investors are accredited individuals who invest their own money directly into startups. This is a popular option for early-stage investing.
Venture Capital Firms: Venture capital firms pool funds from various investors and invest in startups with high growth potential. [venture capital firms in india] specialize in funding Indian startups.
Crowdfunding Platforms: Some crowdfunding platforms allow you to invest in startups alongside other investors. This can be a good option for smaller investments.
How to Get Started
Do your research: Before investing in any startup, thoroughly research the company, the market, and the team. Due diligence is essential to minimize risk.
Connect with the startup ecosystem: Attend industry events, join startup communities, and network with other investors. This will help you identify promising startups and gain valuable insights.
Seek professional advice: Consider consulting with a financial advisor experienced in startup investments. They can guide you through the investment process and help you make informed decisions.
Important Considerations
Liquidity: Unlike stocks or bonds, startup investments are highly illiquid. There's no guarantee you'll be able to sell your shares easily, and it may take years to see a return on your investment.
Risk Tolerance: Startup investing is inherently risky. Be prepared to lose your entire investment. Only invest what you can afford to lose.
Investing in startups for equity can be a rewarding experience, offering the potential for high returns. However, it's crucial to understand the risks involved and approach this asset class with caution. By conducting thorough research, diversifying your portfolio, and seeking professional advice, you can increase your chances of success in the exciting world of startup investing.

Top Ways To Get Cost Effective Hair Transplant Surgery In India
Introduction
Hair loss is a common concern for both men and women, and many people consider hair transplant surgery as a viable solution to restore their lost hair. India has emerged as a popular destination for Hair fall Treatment in Jaipur due to its skilled surgeons, world-class facilities, and cost-effective options. If you're considering getting a hair transplant in India without breaking the bank, here are the top ways to make it cost-effective.
Tumblr media
Research and Choose the Right Clinic
The first step in achieving a cost-effective hair transplant in India is to thoroughly research and select the right clinic. Look for clinics that have a good reputation, experienced surgeons, and a track record of successful procedures. Reading online reviews and testimonials from previous patients can provide valuable insights into the clinic's credibility.
Consult Multiple Surgeons
Before making a decision, consult with multiple hair transplant surgeons. This will allow you to compare their treatment plans, costs, and expertise. Each surgeon may have a different approach, and by consulting with several, you can make an informed choice while considering your budget.
Consider Location
The cost of a hair transplant in India can vary significantly depending on the city and region. Major metropolitan areas like Delhi, Mumbai, and Bangalore may have higher prices compared to smaller cities. Consider opting for a clinic in a less expensive location without compromising on the quality of care.
Choose the Right Hair Transplant Method
There are two main techniques for hair transplantation: Follicular Unit Transplantation (FUT) and Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE). FUE tends to be slightly more expensive due to the labor-intensive nature of the procedure. Discuss with your surgeon which method is suitable for your condition and budget.
Group Sessions
Some clinics offer group sessions where multiple patients are treated on the same day. This can significantly reduce the cost per graft since the overhead costs are shared among several patients. If you're open to this option, inquire if it's available at your chosen clinic.
Online Offers and Discounts
Many clinics in India regularly offer special promotions and discounts on their websites or through social media channels. Keep an eye out for these offers, as they can provide substantial savings on your hair transplant surgery.
Medical Tourism Packages
Consider exploring medical tourism packages, which often include the cost of the procedure, accommodation, transportation, and even sightseeing. These packages can offer excellent value for money, especially if you're traveling from abroad.
Insurance Coverage
Check if your health insurance covers hair transplant surgery. While it's not common for insurance to cover cosmetic procedures, some policies may provide coverage if hair loss is due to a medical condition.
Budget and Financing Options
Discuss your budget and financing options with the clinic. Some clinics may offer payment plans or financing options to help you spread the cost over several months or years, making it more affordable.
Conclusion
Getting a cost-effective Hair transplant In Jaipur is possible with careful planning and research. By choosing the right clinic, location, method, and exploring various cost-saving options, you can achieve your goal of regaining your hair without straining your finances. Remember that while cost is important, the quality of care and expertise of the surgeon should remain your top priorities to ensure a successful and satisfying outcome.

BENGALURU, May 2 (Reuters) - Cash-strapped Indian airline Go First filed for bankruptcy on Tuesday, blaming "faulty" Pratt & Whitney engines for the grounding of about half its fleet.
The move marks the first major airline collapse in India since Jet Airways filed for bankruptcy in 2019, and underscores the fierce competition in a sector dominated by IndiGo and the recent merger of Air India and Vistara under the Tata conglomerate.
Go First's total debt to financial creditors was 65.21 billion rupees as of April 28, it said in a bankruptcy filing with the National Company Law Tribunal.
The company had not defaulted on any of those dues as of April 30, but had defaulted on payments to operational creditors, including 12.02 billion rupees to vendors and 26.60 billion rupees to aircraft lessors, it said in the filing.
In a statement, Go First said its filing followed a refusal by Pratt & Whitney, the exclusive engine supplier for the airline's Airbus A320neo aircraft fleet, to comply with an arbitration order to release spare leased engines that would have allowed the airline to return to full operations.
Grounded aircraft "due to Pratt & Whitney's faulty engines" ballooned from 7% of its fleet in December 2019 to 50% in December 2022, the airline said, costing it 108 billion rupees ($1.32 billion) in lost revenues and additional expenses.
Pratt & Whitney said in a statement to Reuters that it was "committed to the success of our airline customers, and we continue to prioritize delivery schedules for all customers."
"P&W is complying with the March 2023 arbitration ruling related to Go First. As this is now a matter of litigation, we will not comment further," it added.
In February, the boss of Raytheon Technologies (RTX.N), which owns Pratt & Whitney, acknowledged that its GTF engines had had reliability issues.
Pratt & Whitney has also been quoted in Indian media as saying it was affected by industry-wide supply chain pressures and that it expects those to ease later this year, which would support increased output of new and overhauled engines.
Analysts have said bigger rival IndiGo has been able to withstand the impact better, thanks to its larger fleet and a deeper pocket.
Go First, owned by the Wadia Group and formerly known as GoAir, said on its website that it had cancelled flights scheduled for May 3 to May 5 due to "operational reasons".
"The government of India has been assisting the airline in every possible manner," India's Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia said in a statement. "The issue has also been taken up with the stakeholders involved."
The collapse could boost rival airlines as the industry tries to meet a surge in post-pandemic air travel.
"The sudden disruption in operations is likely to benefit other players and increase airfares due to supply constraint," wrote Jinesh Joshi, a research analyst with Prabhudas Lilladher.
SURPRISE MOVE
The move took Go First's lenders by surprise, two bankers aware of the matter told Reuters.
The lenders met Go First's management a few weeks ago, but no intimation was given, one of the bankers said. Lenders will meet soon to assess the situation and decide on a future course of action, they said.
"I am a little stunned to hear of them file for bankruptcy," said Mark Martin, CEO at aviation consulting firm Martin Consulting LLC. "I still feel that this might not be the end of Go First. This must be a vehicle and a means for somebody new to take over."
Go First's problems, which forced it to delay its planned $440 million IPO in 2021, led to an erosion in its market share to 6.9% in March from 8.4% in January, latest data from the Indian aviation regulator showed.
The Wadia Group had been reported to be in talks to either sell its majority stake or completely exit its shareholding. Wadia Group did not respond to an email seeking comment.
Go First said the groundings had driven some lessors to "repossess aircraft, draw down letters of credit and notify further withdrawal of aircraft."
Employees were caught unaware as they heard about the halt in daily operations first from local media, according to three pilots who did not want to be named. They have been receiving their salaries with a delay for the past few months, the pilots added.
"We understand that this news is likely to be distressing, and we remain committed to offer our support to all of you during this difficult time," Go First later said in a email to employees.

Advantages of Responsible management of food waste
More than a third of the world's food production is lost or wasted each year. Urgent measures must be taken since it is predicted that by 2050 waste will increase by 70%. As a consequence of this waste, the costs for consumers and industry increase and place a toxic burden on the planet.Taking measures to stop this scenario generates environmental and economic benefits, as well as an improvement in health for the most disadvantaged. It is urgent to reduce food waste and find new methods to deal with current waste.
More than half of the world's food waste occurs at the consumption stage. The most efficient way to reduce this waste is to avoid it. Initiatives aimed at consumers are essential, such as awareness campaigns to mitigate excessive buying, keep food longer, recycle and not waste perfectly edible foods.Food waste management in india provides Solutions to this global problem that must be identified along the sector's value chain. It is essential to understand where waste is created: in sourcing, production, processing, storage, transportation or retail.Technology is key to identifying and preventing possible waste.
There are different technological solutions to prevent or reduce food waste:
Sensors and product labels. They can track food quality and make it visible in real-time. For example, battery-free Bluetooth tags detect moisture, a key indicator in food spoilage.
Machine learning algorithms. They can be trained to assess food quality from sensor data.
Please use RPAs (Robotic Process Automation) to apply them to the recommendation process.
Advanced supply chain planning systems can simulate demand and can help prevent oversupply.
Some companies already use technology to provide information on the freshness of food.
Benefits of wastewater treatment
In addition to offering wastewater treatment plants, drinking water plants, aqueducts, sewers and special equipment, their service includes environmental consultancies as they intend to provide comprehensive solutions to your clients' needs. Recycling plant installation consultancy is your ally in what has to do with the design of treatment plants, permit applications, and environmental management plans, among others.
Below they share some benefits of having a plant in your industry:
Protects the environment and public health since wastewater is discharged into natural water sources such as lakes, seas and rivers, where they become contaminated with bacteria and viruses and accelerate the transmission of diseases such as typhoid fever, cholera, and hepatitis, among others.
Long-term savings. Suppose it is true that the initial investment to build a water treatment plant can overwhelm many industrialists. The water can be reused for many years, allocating it to different areas of human consumption.
Reusing treated water in crops, gardens, sports fields, parks, car washes, boilers, toilets, and bathrooms.
They benefit ecosystems. Wastewater consultantsensure that the treated water can be returned to rivers, seas and lakes without any contaminant that can harm the surrounding ecosystem.
Promotes water care to ensure this valuable resource for many more generations.
Wastewater treatment plant consultants are already more socially responsible industries that favour the preservation of the environment and are aware of the care of water and the shortage that it could have in the near future.

The Ghost in Town
Tumblr media
Omaxe Limited is a privately held real estate developer based in New Delhi, India. The company was founded by Rohtas Goel in 1989. Seeing that the company has been in business of developing malls, residential plots and in various other industries for a long time, they have still failed to deliver on their promises at various occasions. From court cases, failure to pay property taxes and deliver possessions to massive erosion in its share price on the stock market and a recent rise in ghost malls, the company has lost the trust of its shareholders now.
Ghost malls are the malls with less than 40% occupancy of shops which leaves the owners with a large space available for rent or lease.
There are three malls developed by Omaxe Ltd. in the sector-49 of Gurgaon within an area of 1 Sq. Kms: Omaxe Gurgaon Mall, Omaxe City Centre and Omaxe Celebration Mall. At one point of time, Omaxe Gurgaon Mall had a huge footfall. They had a theatre; popular food chains like Pizza Hut, Dominos, Nirulas; big retail brands, and even small food and retail stalls to cater to a wider audience in one of the most prominent areas in the previous decade (2011-20). This is why they decided to enhance their assets and opened two other malls. However, with a massive drift in the city's development in some other areas owned by DLF, the trio of Omaxe malls were ghosted by these big brands.
This has left the malls with more than 70% of idle space and the rest occupied by a dull theatre and an adda for massage parlours making it prone to police raids for human trafficking.
The malls still exist in one of the moderately developed areas of Gurgaon with a close proximity to hundreds of occupied residential plots and various malls owned by other real-estate developers.
You are a consultant to Omaxe Ltd. and have to present your ideas in a board meeting in front of the shareholders on how to revamp these ghost malls:
Deliverables:
Propose strategies to revamp the three assets of Omaxe Ltd.
Propose the budget required for the revamp, (if you decide to partner or collaborate with another company then state how much capital will each party bring)
Propose sources to raise funds for the plan.
Prepare a PPT of not more than 5 slides. Please submit your PPT to [email protected] before 4:25 PM.

3. A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini
A Thousand Splendid Suns is a breathtaking story set against the volatile events of Afghanistan's last thirty years - from the Soviet invasion to the reign of the Taliban to post-Taliban rebuilding - that puts the violence, fear, hope, and faith of this country in intimate, human terms. It is a tale of two generations of characters brought jarringly together by the tragic sweep of war, where personal lives - the struggle to survive, raise a family, find happiness - are inextricable from the history playing out around them.
Propelled by the same storytelling instinct that made The Kite Runner a beloved classic, A Thousand Splendid Suns is at once a remarkable chronicle of three decades of Afghan history and a deeply moving account of family and friendship. It is a striking, heart-wrenching novel of an unforgiving time, an unlikely friendship, and an indestructible love - a stunning accomplishment. (goodreads.com)
4. Swallows of Kabul by Yasmina Khadra
Since the ascendancy of the Taliban the lives of Mosheen and his beautiful wife, Zunaira, have been gradually destroyed. Mosheen's dream of becoming a diplomat has been shattered and Zunaira can no longer even appear on the streets of Kabul unveiled. Atiq is a jailer who guards those who have been condemned to death; the darkness of prison and the wretchedness of his job have seeped into his soul. Atiq's wife, Musarrat, is suffering from an illness no doctor can cure. Yet, the lives of these four people are about to become inexplicably intertwined, through death and imprisonment to passion and extraordinary self-sacrifice.
The Swallows of Kabul is an astounding and elegiac novel of four people struggling to hold on to their humanity in a place where pleasure is a deadly sin and death has become routine. (goodreads.com)
5. The Pearl That Broke Its Shell by Nadia Hashimi
Afghan-American Nadia Hashimi's literary debut novel is a searing tale of powerlessness, fate, and the freedom to control one's own fate that combines the cultural flavor and emotional resonance of the works of Khaled Hosseini, Jhumpa Lahiri, and Lisa See.
In Kabul, 2007, with a drug-addicted father and no brothers, Rahima and her sisters can only sporadically attend school, and can rarely leave the house. Their only hope lies in the ancient custom of bacha posh, which allows young Rahima to dress and be treated as a boy until she is of marriageable age. As a son, she can attend school, go to the market, and chaperone her older sisters.
But Rahima is not the first in her family to adopt this unusual custom. A century earlier, her great-great grandmother, Shekiba, left orphaned by an epidemic, saved herself and built a new life the same way.
Crisscrossing in time, The Pearl the Broke Its Shell interweaves the tales of these two women separated by a century who share similar destinies. But what will happen once Rahima is of marriageable age? Will Shekiba always live as a man? And if Rahima cannot adapt to life as a bride, how will she survive? (Amazon.com)
6. Shooting Kabul By N.H. Senzai
In the summer of 2001, twelve-year-old Fadi's parents make the difficult decision to illegally leave Afghanistan and move the family to the United States. When their underground transport arrives at the rendezvous point, chaos ensues, and Fadi is left dragging his younger sister Mariam through the crush of people. But Mariam accidentally lets go of his hand and becomes lost in the crowd, just as Fadi is snatched up into the truck. With Taliban soldiers closing in, the truck speeds away, leaving Mariam behind.
Adjusting to life in the United States isn't easy for Fadi's family, and as the events of September 11th unfold the prospects of locating Mariam in a war torn Afghanistan seem slim. When a photography competition with a grand prize trip to India is announced, Fadi sees his chance to return to Afghanistan and find his sister. But can one photo really bring Mariam home?
Based in part on Ms. Senzai's husband's own experience fleeing his home in Soviet-controlled Afghanistan in the 1970's, Shooting Kabul is a powerful story of hope, love, and perseverance. (goodreads.org)
7. Green on Blue: A Novel by Elliot Ackerman
Aziz and his older brother Ali are coming of age in a village amid the pine forests and endless mountains of eastern Afghanistan. They are poor, but inside their mud-walled home, the family has stability, love, and routine. One day a convoy of armed men arrives in their village and their world crumbles. The boys survive and make their way to a small city, where they gradually begin to piece together their lives. But when US forces invade the country, militants strike back. A bomb explodes in the market, and Ali is brutally injured.
To save his brother, Aziz must join the Special Lashkar, a US-funded militia. As he rises through the ranks, Aziz becomes mired in the dark underpinnings of his country’s war, witnessing clashes between rival Afghan groups—what US soldiers call “green on green” attacks—and those on US forces by Afghan soldiers, violence known as “green on blue.” Trapped in a conflict both savage and contrived, Aziz struggles to understand his place. Will he embrace the brutality of war or leave it behind, and risk placing his brother—and a young woman he has come to love—in jeopardy?
Green on Blue has broken new ground in the literature of our most recent wars, accomplishing an astonishing feat of empathy and imagination. Writing from the Afghan perspective, “Elliot Ackerman has done something brave as a writer and even braver as a soldier: He has touched, for real, the culture and soul of his enemy” (The New York Times Book Review). (barnesandnoble.com)
8. Caravans by James A. Michener
First published in 1963, James A. Michener’s gripping chronicle of the social and political landscape of Afghanistan is more relevant now than ever. Combining fact with riveting adventure and intrigue, Michener follows a military man tasked, in the years after World War II, with a dangerous assignment: finding and returning a young American woman living in Afghanistan to her distraught family after she suddenly and mysteriously disappears. A timeless tale of love and emotional drama set against the backdrop of one of the most important countries in the world today, Caravans captures the tension of the postwar period, the sweep of Afghanistan’s remarkable history, and the inescapable allure of the past. (barnesandnoble.com)
 9. A Cup of Friendship: A Novel by Deborah Rodriguez
From the author of the “bighearted . . . inspiring” (Vogue) memoir Kabul Beauty School comes to a fiction debut as compelling as real life: the story of a remarkable coffee shop in the heart of Afghanistan, and the men and women who meet there - thrown together by circumstance, bonded by secrets, and united in an extraordinary friendship.
After hard luck and some bad choices, Sunny has finally found a place to call home - it just happens to be in the middle of a war zone. The thirty-eight-year-old American’s pride and joy is the Kabul Coffee House, where she brings hospitality to the expatriates, misfits, missionaries, and mercenaries who stroll through its doors. She’s especially grateful that the busy days allow her to forget Tommy, the love of her life, who left her in pursuit of money and adventure.
Working alongside Sunny is the maternal Halajan, who vividly recalls the days before the Taliban and now must hide a modern romance from her ultratraditional son - who, unbeknownst to her, is facing his own religious doubts. Into the café come to Isabel, a British journalist on the trail of a risky story; Jack, who left his family back home in Michigan to earn “danger pay” as a consultant; and Candace, a wealthy and well-connected American whose desire to help threatens to cloud her judgment.
When Yazmina, a young Afghan from a remote village, is kidnapped and left on a city street pregnant and alone, Sunny welcomes her into the café and gives her home - but Yazmina hides a secret that could put all their lives in jeopardy. As this group of men and women discover that there’s more to one another than meets the eye, they’ll form an unlikely friendship that will change not only their own lives but the lives of an entire country.
Brimming with Deborah Rodriguez’s remarkable gift for depicting the nuances of life in Kabul, and filled with vibrant characters that readers will truly care about, A Cup of Friendship is the best kind of fiction - full of heart yet smart and thought-provoking. (Amazon.com)
 10. In the Sea There Are Crocodiles By Fabio Geda
What would you do if, when you were ten, you were left to fend for yourself, and, in order to survive, you had to undertake a harrowing journey all the way from Afghanistan to Italy?
In early 2002, Enaiatollah Akbari’s village fell prey to the Taliban. His mother, fearing for his life, led him across the border. So began Enaiat’s remarkable and often publishing five-year ordeal—trekking across bitterly cold mountains, riding the suffocating false bottom of a truck, steering an inflatable raft in violent waters—through Iran, Turkey, Pakistan, and Greece, before he eventually sought political asylum in Italy, all before he turned fifteen years old.
Here Fabio Geda delivers the moving true story of Enaiat’s extraordinary will to survive and of the accidental brotherhood he found with the boys he met along the way. In the Sea There Are Crocodiles brilliantly captures Enaiat’s engaging voice and humor, in what is a truly epic story of hope and survival, for readers of all ages. (barnesandnoble.com)

Even if there is the potential of the manuscript, and in many cases, it is possible to comply with the errors, which are, in many cases, it may be that you are waiting for 4 to 12 months.
Some of the popular authors, who are faced with a rejection of traditional publishers, Agatha Christie, and more than $ 2 billion in sales from the books, J. K. Rowling (“Harry Potter”), C. S. Lewis (“The Da Vinci Code”), Paulo Coelho (The Alchemist”), Vladimir Nabokov (“Lolita”), Audrey Niffenegger, The Time Traveler’s Wife”), the Jan Martel (Life of Pi), and many others.
A lot of new writers hoping to lose, due to the complexity and time required to publish in the traditional publishing houses. Sometimes, it may take a couple of years. After spending a lot of time waiting, a lot of authors to write, or to find out a path to Self-publishing in India.
Publishing directly to traditional publishers can be a good option if you have already established yourself as a writer.
2. Publisher: Publishing house Agents
To connect with a variety of traditional publishers is a little stressful. A lot of authors do the work of maintaining the list for the next periodic reviews, the identification of the appropriate channels to increase the speed of the applications, and in some cases, using the publication of the agents.
But for now, here are just a few of the factors which are to be successful, but less and less to work with new writers.
This is a very good choice if you, as an author, and a very good market, and it’s able to identify a correct and effective way, it is.
The evaluation of a publication, an agent is a piece of art. The authors need to have the proper education and training to get the best out of many of the agents that are available in the market. It may also be related to good investment as well.

It is very rare, but we have seen the emergence of the Amish community as a self-published author who decided to self-publish and market to conquer. However, in the process, he changed from an author to a different setting.
If you have the time and the money to re-invent the bicycle, it can be a really great place to start. And, if you’re able to connect the dots with the b’s perfect.
4. Self-publishing, with the help of professional platforms
You can use the professional help of the Book Publishing in India companies such as White Falcon Publishing books been edited, and designed to address the reader, and it is then published while maintaining full control in your hands and concerning all aspects, not only the production but also to distribution channels, joint investments, equities, running, hiking, etc., etc.
