(asktheisle) It was hardly a challenge for Nat to spot the familiar Reshiram stopping for a visit once again. They tried to approach calmly, but it was clear he was bubbling with excitement.

"Maksviah!! It's great to see you again! And you too, Loraifon."

The human remembered how the young one was a bit overwhelmed the last time, being sure to lower his voice in volume to address the Arceus.

"I see you both have your gifts from last time! Also brought along some more company, huh?"

"NAT!" Loraifon cheered at the sight of the human, excitedly stumbling to their hooves and leaning over the edge of his mothers back, eager to greet him.

"Loraifon, careful." Maksviah gently chided, raising a wing to help her child climb down from her back before speaking to Nat, "It's wonderful to see you again! It has been far too long since we've visited. I look forward to this celebration."

Landing on the ground with a little 'thump', Loraifon excitedly zipped around Nat in a happy circle, bonking his head on the humans leg like an affectionate cat before zipping off towards Dawn and Dusk. "Look, look! I have a cousin now!!" he pointed at Dusks head where Twilight peered out with bright, curious eyes.

"My two dear friends have recently become parents." Maksviah explained, "This is the first major celebration they have attended since their egg hatched."

"Hello hello!" Dawn waved a wing, laughing at Loraifons excitement, "I'm Dawn, this is my husband Dusk, and my darling daughter Twilight."

"We look forward to exploring the island and enjoying the festivities." Dusk said with a smile, "Twilight seems enamoured by the seashore."

"I wonder who she got that trait from~"

Stamping little baby hooves, Loraifon declared “Now that I have a new cousin you have to give us free snacks! It’s the law!”

“Haha, we would appreciate it if you told us where to get some for future reference. We’ll pay as needed, no need to worry.”

“THE LAW!!!!”

I have a question! Why wont you go outside? I know it can be scary going to new places full of people, but me and my ma went to a festival recently and it was really fun! If you want you can ask her about places to go."

“That’s uh…besides the point however! I do hope you and your mother have fun at the festival! Thank you for lending your divine ear my way.”

“Wow, that’s super cool and nice of you to be helping them out! Sometimes taking a long nap is what you really need, ya know? I take naps all the time, and my mom watches over me when I do, kinda like what you’re doing! I always feel better after them, and I hope she does too.”

“Me? I’m exploring with my big brother! He’s visiting us which he can’t do super often because he’s super busy and important!  You’re job is kinda like my brothers actually, because he also does a bunch of important things for other legendaries too, like help them out when they’re having big fights. The fights aren't nice, so he helps them stop and talk better with eachother.“

“Anyway! We saw the ruins and thought they were super neat and wanted to check them out! So we’re exploring! I... kinda walked off when he wasn’t looking, haha... But it’s ok! He knows I’m safe. But! I can yell form him if you wanna meet him. He super nice, I promise!”

(@ask-dawnanddusk) "WOW MISS, YOU LOOK REALLY PRETTY!!" Loraifon shouted enthusiastically, excited to see the giant bird. "You're feathers also look super soft! I mean, not as soft as moms, but still really soft! But I'm confused, aren't Ho-oh not supposed to live here? I mean, I think mom told me that there are already three big strong pokemon who live in… Kanto? No, Kalos! Right, Kalos. An I thought they kinda watched over it, right? So what are you doing here?"

Harumi watched the young one excitedly blurt their thoughts at her. She quite enjoyed spending time with children and this little joy was no exception.

"You are very knowledgeable on such a topic. I applaud your insight!" She ruffles Loraifon's fluff with a wing. "To answer your question, yes. There are three big gods that rule over this land. I am here because one of them is sleeping and needs my help so she can get a good rest."

This, obviously, was a very simple way of putting the situation but Harumi did not wish to trouble the child with the dark details.

"What about you? Why are you here?"

Personality: Grouchy, stern, but with a playful streak. Can be quite tricky when he wants to be. Very sweet with his family, but his gruff and rude nature can rub others the wrong way more often then not.

"Oh right, I came here because while me and mom were traveling I heard that someone went missing for a while, and I got worried and wanted to see how that mon' was feeling! How's it feel coming back after so long, and what do you remember before you were found? Did you find out something neat while you were at it?"

Saltriv smiled, and waved their leaf. “Thank you! I’m really proud of it!”

Their leaf drooped at Loraifon’s question, though. “It...it was really scary. So much was different, and so many more Pokemon had gone missing...”

“But I’m ok!” A smile appeared back on their face.

“And...there’s only one thing I remember before being found,” the Chikorita said, swaying their leaf to the side. “A rainbow void, a giant pink and black hand reaching down for me...and a human, who saved me. A human! Though I wonder if it was just a dream...”

“Oh wow, those all sound really good! Um… can I have a fudge cookie? Also, if I can, could I get a chocolate chip cookie too? I wanna get it for my mom as a surprise, and I’m pretty sure I have enough money for it.”

He holds up the shiny gold nugget. “I think this is enough? If not though, you can just give me the fudge cookie. There are a bunch of these around our village, so I’m not sure how much you think it’s worth. Mom doesn’t use them much in most of her work unless she wants to make them shiny.”

(@ask-dawnanddusk) Loraifon (in his reshiram form): "Wow, there are a lot of really cool looking pokemon here! It reminds me of home, we have a lot of hi-hybrid? is that the word? Well, we have pokemon like that living in our village too! Oh right, food. My mom gave me some money to buy a cookie! Can I have one please?"

A LONG overdue revenge on NovaArora! She did an amazing piece of Whalesong last year and I was so excited to work on a piece for her this year. I had a lot of fun playing with proportions and expression to really sell the fact that Loraifon is Just A Little Guy.

"I am, I am!"

"You are not." Maksviah retorted, causing a fretting Dawn to wilt slightly. "All is well, my friend, I promise."

"But what if they don't react well to her?" Dawn worried, "What if SHE doesn't react well to someplace new? What if-"

"If something like that happens, then we will handle it as best as we can." Dusk cut in, reassuring his husband, "But we've already been here once before my love, and everyone reacted well to our presence before, not to mention Loraifon." He pointed at the young arceus perched on Maksviah's back. At the sound of his name Loraifon perked up and waved down at Dusk, who returned it with a slight chuckle.

"I can personally attest to this islands safety and acceptance." Maksviah chimed in.

"You're right, you're right." Dawn sighed, "I just worry. At least it seems like Twilight is taking it all well." He said, observing how his daughter reacted to her new surroundings from her perch upon Dusk's head.

"Exactly. Now stop your fretting and let's go have fun!"

Dawn, Dusk, Twilight, Maksviah, and Loraifon have all arrived at the Magi Retreat!

I've got a ton of favourite dragon type pokemon, but my current fav is Tatsugiri! It's got a fun gimmick with Dondozo, and together they pack a real punch. I love my little sushi dragon <3

Morva it makes me so happy to see someone else around here who puts as much emphasis into space in their art as I do gjdfh I feel like I've said this before, I love me some cosmic themes and how those revolve around characters, and that said I love seeing when YOU do it too. I need to remember to throw Quetzal to your new blog, I've been meaning to but for one reason or another I end up forgetting until I see a new post on my dash. "Greetings once more, Three Radiant Ones!" Maksviah called to the Magi who swirled up ahead, "It is a pleasure to visit your lovely island once more! The festivities have been wonderful, as expected, and even now we wear your gifts with pride. Mine young one has kept his in wonderful condition."

"I make sure to polish it a bunch so it's always shiny!" Loraifon chirped, entire body wiggling excitedly.

"I am sure you have noticed," Maksviah continued, "However I have also brought with me some of my dearest and brilliant of companions, the ones who represent Dawn, Dusk, and their new child, Twilight."

"Hello hello!" Dawn waved at the the three, remaining on the ground to stand by his husband and child.

"You flatter us, Maksviah." Dusk chuckled. Perched on his head, Twilight stared up at the Magi with wide eyes, confused but enthralled.

"Before our arrival on this isle, we all came together to create three gifts once more, ones we hope you find just as brilliant as the ones previously gifted."

"Before you we present three silk robes, each representing the graceful Dusk, the brilliant Dawn, and the gentle beauty of the light between both, Twilight."

"It took us a bit to get the colours juuuuuust right, but we're really happy with how they turned out." Dawn said with a big smile.

"We hope you like them just as much as we had fun making them." Dusk said, Twilight chirping softly on his head.

The building was near empty at the moment, its large but warm interior befitting of a Great Hall. Enchanted fires burned with no fuel and food was lined up and prepared for the day, ready for all those early risers who liked to get a good head start on their projects. A couple of figures were already seated at one of the many tables within, and the cooks were happily chattering with each other in the back, discussing new recipes they could try making.

They had woken with the rising sun, as usual, and had begun to clean the stage where various performances were usually held. It had been a bit since the area had gotten a good scrubbing, and they decided not to put it off any longer.

Just as they finished making sure the stone was squeaky clean, they heard their name being called out behind them by a very familiar voice.

“Alvarma!”

Turning around with a smile, Alvarma greeted their new guests, “Loraifon, Twilight! It’s good to see you up and early. Looking to get a head start on your daily adventuring?”

“Yup!” Loraifon chirped before pausing, Twilight trailing behind him, “Well, no. Kinda? We wanna hear more of your stories!”

Alvarma laughed at the young Arceus’ words. “Ah, I see! Smart of you to come before the first wave arrives. Well, I should have time to spare for a few, after some more cleaning of course. The back needs a bit of rearranging, but feel free to chatter with me as we do."

"While I do that, you two should choose which one you would like to hear first.”

“I’ll be super nice! So nice the flowers wont even know what mean is! Who would even be mean to flowers, especially ones so pretty? That just makes them big doo doo heads! Oops, don’t tell mom I said that! But yeah, your flowers are very pretty! I kinda want to get closer, but I’m pretty clumsy…”

“And I’ll leave soon, I promise! Some people like being alone a lot, like my older brother! And that’s ok! And they like the quiet. But I’m not quiet, I’m loud! Oh, wait, that means I should probably be quiet here right? Ok, I’m going to stop talking now and sit here for a little bit! Then I’ll go back to mom.”

He questioned before quickly realizing something. "Oh wait, you asked a question first, which means I gotta answer it. Oops. I'm not lost, my mom's near here, I just wanted to explore a bit!"

“Welcome to Johto. I hope you like it here.”

"Greetings Three Radiant Ones." Maskviah said, tilting her head down in a slight bow of greeting. "Me and mine child are visiting this island for the festival, and it is quite lovely. Mine little one so rarely interacts with those outside our homeland, much less those who are kind towards us. For this, I thank you, as it is your presence which brings many together, and your story which inspires much in all those who surround you."

"Yeah, it's been super fun!" Loraifon piped up from down below the three circling spirits, excited, "There are so many cool sights and sounds and smells and the food tastes really good and there are a lot of cool people and the water is super pretty-"

Maksviah gently nudged him, breaking his long stream of words, "Oh, whoops, sorry about that, I talk a lot when I'm excited. But I'm still right! Your island is really cool, and so is your festival!"

"As a show of kindness, we have brought many a different berries from our lands, 'bout a dozen if memory serves correct." She pulls a large bowl full of exotic and colorful berries out of the bag she had brought. "We have also brought water, formed of melted mountain snow and sweetened slightly by the natural sap that seeps into the water, which contains rejuvenational properties."  She places a large jug full of water beside the bowl. It had a slight amber tinge.

"Show them the last gift ma! Show em show em!!!"

"Patience my little one, I was about to speak of that. Yes, I have brought a gift of mine own creation, formed of star-fallen ore. I am an artist, and I take quite a bit of pride in my abilities. 'Tis more ornamental then utility based, however I do hope you three enjoy them as much as I enjoyed forging them."

"I'm the one who found the pretty gems." Loraifon mentioned, puffing up with pride.

"Three crowns I have made you, one of each sun, moon and star. What you do with them now is none of my concern, and is only for you to know. Regardless, I hope they are found satisfactory in shape, consistency and luster."

(asktheisle) "Maksviah!! It's great to see you again!" Nat waves over to the Reshiram, for a moment rather elated to see such a welcomed familiar face.

"How is everything? Can I help you get anything?"

"Greetings once more, my friend. This fest of yours is wonderfully made, it is so rare that me and mine child do take part in such large events. I thank you and all who aided you in making such a lovely celebration."

"As you can see, my little one is incredibly excited and a tad bit overwhelmed at the moment. Any suggestions on excitable activities or other such things would be most appreciated." she said before directing her words at Loraifon, "Perhaps a small break is in order, hm? Chatting with one most familiar with the area would be beneficial."

"Nooooo, I don't wanna wait." The small arceus whined, though it was obvious Loraifon was getting overwhelmed by all the hustle and bustle of the festival, confused on what he wanted to do first.
