New Years Eve ushered in more than a new year, it ushered in a new union; a marriage between DEAD BOY DETECTIVES star Briana Cuoco (now Briana Cuoco Lales, at least on IG) and partner Brian Logan Dales.

Joining her was her DEAD BOY DETECTIVES costars (Jayden Revri, George Rexstrew, Kassius Nelson, Yuyu Kitamura, Ruth Connell and Jenn Lyon), who seemingly surprised her with their presence.

How about Theo having a best friend who has had a completely different childhood to Theo’s?

His best friend’s family are abusive, neglectful and belittle him. His mutation is a partly physical (it is impossible for him to hide his mutation in society) and he has been told his entire life that he is ugly and an embarrassment. But with Sunshine and Theo (and Logan even with his gruff exterior) he finds acceptance and realises that he is worthy of love. It would also be a way for Theo to see the discrimination and hatred other mutants experience.

I really like the idea of Theo having a best friend he can share secrets with, bicker with, play pranks with and basically become inseparable with.

And if Theo was to have a “villain phase” they would argue on the battlefield, using the swear words they made up together when they were like 10; and basically behaving like children rather than a superhero and super villain.

Their interactions on the battlefield could go something like:

Best friend: oh and by the way I asked Daisy out, you idiot!

Theo: what did she say, stupid!

Best friend: she said yes, lardhead!

Theo: that’s great, dogbreath! I told you she liked you. Do you know where you’re going to go for your first date?

Best friend: I heard Gianni’s Italian is nice!

Theo: it is!

Best friend: when you stop being an idiot and come back to Xavier’s we should double date, stupid!

Theo: Briana would love that! But don’t call me stupid. You’re the stupid one!

Best friend: no you are!

Theo: no you are!

Plus too many Little Croquettes jam sessions to count. I went to many of these with @lessjokes and a few with @lizzylizzylizzy. NOFX with @vicwomg was the most memorable since we got to be on stage with the band the whole time. Taylor was the best though, followed by Annabelle Chairlegs and Ruth Radelet and Agar Agar (all of which were part of the Psyched Radio festival, can't wait for next year), and also all the Curling shows were a blast, especially the one with Plash.
