I love this meddlesome and rebellious scientist, the way he challenges Jekyll is Chef Kiss ✨✨✨👌

While doing this I realized that the Society is saving him from his original fate (I'm still crying for Jekyll on today's TGS page)

Lodgetember Day 2: Mr. Griffin!

Mr. Griffin is the Disapparative Biochemist of the Society, and studies turning things-- especially animals-- Invisible. However, his results are quite varied, shown in the sporatic invisibility of his cat, Perseus. His character has clear roots in the gothic novel The Invisible Man by H.G. Wells

He's an albino man white-silver hair, light blue eyes, and can always be seen with dark sunglasses, presumably to help with light sensitivity from his albinism.

Jekyll was pretty persistent on having all the invisible mice caught before the exhibition. Surprisingly, it's easier to see invisible mice when they're little balls of flour running around. Doddle was quite happy to supply an extra bag if it meant invisible mice staying out of his baking space and ingredients.

Finally got motivation to draw!! Yippee!! First personal lodgetember post hehe :3

once I heard about Lodgetember there was no way that I, one of the very first TGS Lodger Enthusiasts, would pass this up

that being said, I found myself much busier at the start of this week than I thought i would be, so I made two rushed doodles as my contribution for Day 1 (Mosley) and Day 2 (Griffin). extremely unfortunate especially for Griffin; he's one of my favorites among the favorites 😭i'll do better for him some other day i promise

two separate inspirations for these doodles: Day 1 - i've been playing a lot of Genshin Impact lately (NO 5.0 SPOILERS PLEASE) and i saw that one of the new characters uses a big ass drill for combat and exploration. i think Mosley would enjoy the drill vehicle, it's so him Day 2 - what's not to love about catboy Griffin? this specific iteration came about with me toying with the lore of my long-dormant MLB + TGS AU.
