in light of Shawn Levy saying we might get some news soon i'm actually curious how long it will take until we'll see a real teaser this time around. especially when comparing it to the s4 production timeline because we're already 6 month into filming which is generally rumoured to take about a year +/- a month or so given what actors have been saying. that'd already be halfway (not including the post production obviously)
and if s5 marketing is going to work in any way similarly to s4 then we're really close to actually seeing footage at this point
the s4 production was obviously rough since it went on lockdown after shooting for 1 month. so they filmed february and then only started back up in october. but the big teasers they officially dropped were:
a teaser of Hopper in the Russian prison a few weeks into shooting before the lockdown happened (they really wanted everyone to know that Hopper was coming back in advance, fighting the death retcon out of nowhere allegations before they can even drop lmao)
month 9 after filming start (i'm not counting the months they were on pause due to the lockdwon here) they dropped an almost 2 minute teaser of NINA with out of context still shots of the blood during the massacre showing up on the overhead screens. also another minute long clip montage of the rainbow room in the past with Brenner, El and the children
month 12, again, NINA related teaser with El waking up with her head shaved
month 13 they drop a Creel house teaser with the Creels in the 50s there but also the present day kids breaking in
month 14 they officially drop all 9 episode titles in video format
month 14 California teaser (basically the biggest teaser pre trailer drop where they show shots that happen to the Cali people from basically all episodes)
and then the final trailer in month 20, one month before Volume 1 actually dropped
so essentially after the 9 month point of production they had enough material to start dropping teasers every other month. (i'm also not counting smaller teasers like things they dropped on instagram or twitter here btw, those obviously also dropped occasionally, i'm talking about the real s4 footage teasers they officially dropped on youtube here)
given we're already 6 months into active shooting there's a good chance we'll get to see some actual footage of s5 by september at the latest
i'm curious if they'll drop teasers sooner later or around the same time period this time around. everything people have said makes it seem like s5 will have pretty extensive VFX done so it might take them longer to work on shots. but they might also drop something sooner to smooth over the hiatus

I am so tired. I've had pocd intrusive thougths and guilt since november last year and had cbt. Stopped that as I was doing so well in early march, and I felt like myself again for two weeks until pms started and threw me back. I am writing this in tears now, my period has almost ended but i'm tired. i'm just going back and forth, pulled by my emotions and hormones which help the thoughts come back. honestly i think without this lockdown i would've gotten over them, as mine tend to go away (1)
(2) and literally I barely think of them at all. this thought never even bothered me before until my ocd and anxiety reared its' head. I feel like I am just pushed and pulled by my hormones and emotions - everything depends on if i'm hormonal, pmsing or just randomly happy as i had been for those two weeks. without lockdwon i would be out of my head and able to move on from thoughts but i've attached meaning and disgust/guilt/worry to the thought and i hate it/ i feel trapped.
Hey there,
The lockdowns have been tough for a lot of people and has affected us in many different ways. I’m so sorry that your POCD thoughts have been so bad lately, but it does sound like CBT was really helpful for you, is there a way that you can get back into CBT, even if it’s via web chat or on the phone depending on where you live and your current restrictions regarding covid?
I also want to let you know that your menstrual cycle can really affect ones mental health a lot and can often make you feel a lot worse and especially in the lead up to your period or throughout it. Do you have a regular doctor or GP that you see regularly? If so I would encourage you to speak to them about this as sometimes going on the pill can help to regulate your hormones and help to improve things overall for you. Just something to keep in mind!
Being in lockdown can be really hard as often it means being in isolation from others and especially if you are living alone and cannot leave home to go out and about like normal. This is where your phone can come in handy though with calling friends or family or having video calls with them. I know it’s not the same as face-to-face contact but it’s some contact to the outside word and can help to take your mind off of your own thoughts as you can really focus on the other person you are speaking with.
In regards to attaching meanings like disgust, guilt and worry to your thoughts, could you try some positive self-talk and try to associate some more positive meanings to those thoughts? For example instead of feeling guilty or disgusted by the thoughts you are having, perhaps just acknowledging you are having them and that this is OK and that you are doing the best you can to work through these thoughts and cope with them the best you can. Is this something that you could give a go?
I really hope that this has helped a bit and please do let us know if we can help to support you in any other way.
I’m thinking of you and hope that you’re going OK!
Take care,
Lauren

weight: let’s not talk about it...
So I fell off track for a few days. I ate too much and exercised too little (didn’t continue my workout challenge for 4 days). Hell, I don’t even want to think about where I could be by now, if this hadn’t happened, I might cry. So let’s focus on something positive: I started running again! I had just started it shirtly before lockdown and had to give it up right away. But now I’m back to it, today was my 5th run since the lockdwon and I think I’m in love with running. The first 2k are the hardest but then I get in the “zone” and just run without thinking and it is amazing. I’m still weak and slow af, running 6k takes me around 50 minutes but I’m so motivated to get stronger!
I also ordered a pair of running shorts with a matching yellow crop top as my summer running outfit and boy.....trying that on was a great motivation to loose weight. I looke like a sausage.

Coronavirus Outbreak: India confirms 1,324 COVID-19 cases, 31 deaths in 24 hours; industrial activity to resume in parts of Maharashtra
The Union health ministry on Sunday said that at least 519 people had died due to coronavirus so far and the number of positive cases have climbed to 16,116 in India, registering an increase of 31 deaths and 1,324 cases since Saturday evening.
The number of active COVID-19 cases stood at 13,295 while 2,301 people have been cured and discharged, and one patient has migrated, the ministry said.
While Maharashtra chief minister Uddhav Thackeray announced that some industries will be allowed to resume operations in certain areas from Monday, Telangana chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao has announced an extension of the lockdown till 7 May.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a LinkedIn post, urged unity and brotherhood in the face of COVID-19.
COVID-19 does not see race, religion, colour, caste, creed, language or borders before striking.
Our response and conduct thereafter should attach primacy to unity and brotherhood.

'Need to start economic wheels again': Uddhav Thackeray
Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray told a news conference on Sunday that some activity would be permitted in the least-affected parts of the state while observing a strict lockdown in the red zones that have the maximum number of cases.
“We need to start the economic wheels again. We are giving selective permissions from tomorrow, especially in orange zones and green zones,” he said, referring to areas with lower levels of infection.
Industries ready to provide accommodation to their workers during the lockdown will be given food grain supply and permission for raw material from the state, he said.
"The state government is allowing the industries from green and orange zones to start production and processing activities in a restricted manner. The industries will have to arrange the accommodation for their workers. They would not travel long distance for work," he said.
The green zones are those which have not reported any coronavirus case, while orange zones are the ones where only a few cases have been reported.
The chief minister also said that except for movement of essential services, all the district borders would remained sealed.
But Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said his government has decided not to relax lockdown restrictions which is in force till May 3 as of now since coronavirus appears to be spreading at a "faster pace" in the national capital. The government will assess the situation again after one week, he said.
The Telangana government has decided to extend lockdwon in the state till 7 May. During this period, food delivery services will not be permitted to function and no religious congregation will be allowed in any place.
Govt bars e-commerce companies from selling non-essential products
Four days after e-commerce companies were allowed to sell products like mobile phones, refrigerators and ready-made garments, Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla issued an order excluding non-essential items from their business. The April 15 order had said e-commerce platforms were allowed to sell such items from April 20.
Ministry of Home Affairs(MHA) officials had earlier said televison sets and laptops could also be sold online after which a few e-commerce companies had starting accepting orders.
Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla also wrote a letter to the chief secretaries of all States and Union Territories giving a clarification.
"...I would like to clarify that while operations of e-commerce companies for non-essential goods stands prohibited, however they will continue to operate for essential goods as has been allowed earlier and continue to be allowed," he said.
Bhalla also said labourers, who are stranded in different parts of the country due to the lockdown, will be allowed to go to their respective places of work within a state with certain conditions.
He, however, made it clear there will be no inter-state movement of workers during the lockdown. Since additional activities, outside the containment zones, have been permitted in the 'consolidated revised guidelines' with effect from April 20, these workers could be engaged in industrial, manufacturing, construction, farming and MNREGA works, he said.
Agriculture, construction, Information Technology(IT), industrial units in the SEZs and rural areas and e-commerce operations were among the select sectors where the coronavirus-induced lockdown restrictions are to be lifted from April 20 in a bid to also reduce the distress caused to millions of people.
The announcement to ease the curbs to allow some “select necessary activities” in areas which are not COVID-19 hotspots was made by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on April 14 while declaring the extension of the three-week nationwide lockdown for another 19 days till May 3 to battle the pandemic. The next day, the MHA unveiled the guidelines with some conditions.
The relaxations lay strict emphasis on social distancing with a warning by the Centre it will be withdrawn if there is any violation of lockdown norms. Wearing of masks is also being mandatory besides making spitting a punishable offence with a fine of at least Rs.1,000.
The permitted activities from April 20 are aimed at ensuring agricultural and related activities remain fully functional, rural economy functions with maximum efficiency, employment opportunities are created for daily wage earners and other members of labour force, select industrial activities are allowed to resume their operations, with safeguards and mandatory standard operating protocols and digital economy, the MHA said.

Govt bars e-commerce companies from selling non-essential products Four days after e-commerce companies were allowed to sell products like mobile phones, refrigerators and ready-made garments, Union Home Secretary Ajay Bhalla issued an order excluding non-essential items from their business.
