After 8 effing HOURS of carving over two day, I've finished day biggest carving ever. Boy is a giant mushroom and I'm so proud.
There is an additional carving that wants to go with it that will fill the tops of the mushrooms with colour...but brah I'm happy with just this piece for new. Hopefully all get to test it out on some bags this week, I have two markets next weekend and it would be nice to have some of the print to show off.

If you can you should really go to your local(-ish) markets, and if you visit someone a distance from you go to a local market there (especially small town markets).
If you peruse thoroughly you will often find treasures , markets are usually the place to find unique things. Although if you are properly aware of your tastes and good at spotting things you like, then you don't have to be as thorough (convenient if you have limited energy).

Last night I had a fudge mini Boston. At least that was what Central Market (or Town & Country now) calls it. I want to try their new things from the new bakery area. This was one of the them. It seems more like a parfait to me. I can kind of see why they’d call it a mini Boston. It’s like a Boston cream donut. It had cake, custard, fudge, chocolate frosting, and sprinkle like things/balls on top. It looked fancy. It fell apart as I ate it. Messy, but good. It was too rich tasting for me to eat the whole thing. Some of their other things look pretty or over-the-top.

I'm kind of stupid happy about how these came out!
I wanted to do a simple print onto the display cards I'm going to start putting my necklaces on. Just to, you know, make them look nicer than plain kraft paper. Decided to colour march the little green paper bags I have for sales, and close match the brown of the kraft card, and I could not be more pleased with the results.
They're not perfect prints but they don't have to be. Also printed onto some notebooks and greeting cards, plus a trial print onto wood (promising results with some more experimentation).
I've set up a self inking stamp with the Etsy store account name on it I'll stamp onto the backs, and have little adhesive pockets to tuck the necklace chains into. Pretty excited to roll the spinner out next market with them on it!
Next market will be the Calmar Market on Main, on Friday 4pm-8pm. If your in the area come by and let me know you came from Tumblr for a little gift!

Local market is expected to trade sideways
The FBM KLCI gained +0.14% after bargain hunting, with the Energy sector (+0.8%) leading due to rising oil prices amid Middle East tensions, while the Technology sector (-1.3%) lagged. Global markets faced declines, with US and European stocks down due to higher-than-expected jobless claims and concerns over the Middle East. In Asia, Japan’s market rose, but Hong Kong saw profit-taking. Local…
