PL Yuri Week 2024, Day 7 - Free Day

I went with a quick, messy redraw of the "us in the Ikea showroom pretending to be a toxic married couple" meme, featuring Liza Wight alongside Saya from the mobile rhythm game Arcaea (I just think they'd be cute together)

(Also, Saya Arcaea looks really off model here bc her design is really complicated and like i said, this is low effort and for comedy, so here's who I'm taking about for reference:)

Something that has been on my mind recently (Obviously in relation to Layton Mystery Journey)

It's like a kind of Au where Ernest, instead of taking the route of revenge for his mother's death, is adopted by the dragons.

More than anything because I'm curious about how he and Katrielle's relationship would take place under those conditions.

Since it is Madame Gretchin Doublée who takes the responsibility of taking care of him, interesting dynamics arise with the other characters.

Even if I follow this path of thought, Liza Wight and Ernest would be treating each other like siblings and the rest of the characters would end up like uncles.

I would get the impression that he changed his name to keep his relationship with the Richmonds hidden, perhaps not wanting anyone to treat him differently because of status. Which would make the final case have another kind of meaning, where the dragons want to leave Ernest their money because of the devotion they had for their grandfather.

Or who knows, maybe it's a conspiracy from his father (Miles/Ernest's father was never heard from). Who tries to recover all of his father-in-law's money as the new Lord Adamas.

Maybe it is a concept that I will expand one day and if you have made it this far, thank you for reading my teed talk.

After watching Layton Mystery Detective Agency again, I've created a strange ship that could actually work:

The pastel goth and her ghost girlfriend.

(Lala is a character appearing in episode 41, so I recommend you watch that.)

The news of Liza Wight's haunted house travels throughout the town and eventually reaches the London Times. They send a reporter over to investigate it and publish an article about the experience.

Lala looks at the photographs and isn't convinced by the whole thing. She decides to travel to the mansion herself and check it out.

While not convinced by the "hauntings", Lala is impressed by Liza's talent for showmanship.

Eventually they agree to work together to create the scariest haunted house the world has ever seen.

Lala teaches Liza how to manipulate photographs to create convincing photographs of ghosts, and Liza helps teach her a bit of sewing.

The pair can relate to one another over their loneliness. Liza isolated herself after her parents death, and Lala is often forgotten and ignored at work.

After some time, Lala develops feelings for Liza but is too afraid to say anything. Like in episode 41, she decides to confess her feelings through manipulated photographs of herself.

Unfortunately, Liza doesn't understand the message and calls her good detective friend to help.

Lala is super embarrassed, but Liza eventually understands the photos and confesses her love too.

Now the pair live happily in their haunted mansion with their spooky butler as they count down the days until Halloween.
