It's almost ironic how Malcolm brought Annabel back from the death cause she was the only person he felt seen by and thus he couldn't let go of her, and how she was the one who killed Livvy, who was brought back from the death by Ty, cause she was the only person he ever felt seen by, thus he couldn't let go of her.

we talk about how, to ty, livvy is not grief but denial, and while yes ty is the one to whom that extends the most as he is the one who would only get by w anything of livvy, even her ghost, we could also carry that same energy to julian. for almost the entirety of qoaad, livvy too wasn't grief but denial. the spell he had put on him so he didn't feel anything, didn't feel love, didn't feel loss, just so he didn't feel empty w/out livvy, in turn neglecting what his siblings went through while grieving livvy (even if they shouldn't be his children to neglect in the first place!!)
