Not So Secret - Pumpkin Cottage

Nestled among woodland, there stood a quaint wooden cottage that seemed straight out of a spooky tale. Carved pumpkins casting a bewitching glow, with moonlight filtered through the towering trees and overgrown vines. Dare to enter?

It's finally Halloween! Happy Halloween everyone. I've absolutely adored doing some extra creepy posts this October. With the most amazing stores and talented creators. For my official Halloween post, I'm using the beautiful BAZAR - Johanna's Cottage @Uber. It comes in two texture versions. I've used the grey one for this post but the white will absolutely feature in an upcoming winter wonderland photo. Its super cute, and if you're a plant lover - there is a greenhouse almost as large as the main room. Perfect for those who don't need a huge home at only 55 Li.

I've decorated the pathway with DRD's Spooky Pumpkins. The light from these radiates so beautifully creating that iconic orange glow of Halloween. Finally for the landscaping, I'm using a lovey Autumn textured Little Branch HornBeamTree (v2).

This starts off a cute little habit of Littlebranch giving Poppyfire a different flower/plant every time they see each other cause cause 😭 I want them to have the slowest of burns please PLEASE-

He starts off by just giving her different colored poppies, but she brings up how sad she will be when poppy season ends. So when it does end, and she goes out to see him, he has a different type of plant for her, and he explains that he’ll continue to give her flowers that correspond with the season if she wants (she wants that VERY MUCH) :3

For a bit more context: the previous SpringClan and CaveClan leaders, Falconstar and Waspstar, fought a long war that was ended by Falconstar dying and the newly appointed Rockstar making a secret pact with the then Deputy Littlebranch that they would not fight anymore no matter what Waspstar said. This enraged her so much that Rock had to kill her while trying to negotiate, and ever since SpringClan and CaveClan held a (very fragile) truce. Well, until now.

hearsay on my nevermentions. my mom ran into littlebranch at the liquor store. it's not great to assume, but something tells me he wasn't just there running an errand for someone else. silkmoth (horrorshow ex) apparently went to go live on a boat in mexico and predictably fell in love with whatever man was nearby and is now parenting his child, which is among the more chilling developments. rosegold has lost all her friends to her poor behaviour, which does make me sad because i did really love her spirit when she wasn't caught up in manufacturing maximum social discord. mikey moved to cancelled row in montreal with the girl that she told me she didn't like that much and she posts about how shes really happy. i was telling olive about these relationships the other day, particularly the c.2018 stuff with silkmoth, and how i still WENT BACK TO HER after i finally gave up the first time. olive just kept saying over and over, "how were you okay with that????? and you NEVER let loose and just laid it all out, even at the end???" i dont believe in closure or even that "speaking your truth" does anything of value but maybe thats a factor in why all this continues to bother me so much

Not So Secret - In the dark, in the rain, I'm your lighthouse.

Your Dreams - Modern Farmhouse Overjoyed to be apart of the Your Dreams blogger team. A newly discovered store for me which I highly recommend for such versatile homes both large and small and beautiful decor pieces. This large farmhouse style home is perfect to really make it your own. Add moss, exterior accessories, create a rustic farm feel or use carefully trimmed hedges to go with a more clean modern look. As ever, I went hill side for this one. Such a grand house felt like it needed a large scale landscape to really highlight its features.

For this scene, which could easily be replicated onto a 1/4 parcel, I firstly terraformed a reasonably high section of land. Always good to keep in mind - the higher you go, the more steps and access issues you might give yourself. I then used the Skye Modular cliff to almost square off the land section. From this, I added the Skye rocky platforms to build out from the Cliffs to create a more natural less square terrain. From there I used the Rocky shoreline at the bottom of the Cliffs, and then placed the beautiful Wild Oaks from Little Branch and my favourite Douglas fir trees for some added variety. Then followed with additional grass and foliage.
