Well, I have a lint roller in my house. I come in one day and there it is, just chilling on my bed as if it owns the place. The last time this happened i just brought the object to a shelter (it was a q-tip. I can't imagine keeping something so small) but this guy's kinda cute. That said, I'm not very knowledgeable on objects in general- is there anything I should keep note of here? Is it safe to keep? It seems tame, but it's not a species I'm finding info about online very easily.

if it's somehow gotten into your house and is acting like the environment is familiar, it's probably either an escaped or abandoned pet. you should post it around to see if anyone in your area has lost a pet recently!

lint rollers are primarily detritivores and consume decaying plant matter, but they sometimes supplement their diet with living plants. domestic ones may need vitamins in order to remain healthy! they don't need a ton of space but should be allowed to free roam. they're very clean objects and groom themselves frequently so they don't need to be bathed often. they tend to do well with most other objects so long as they aren't aggressive species, and get along with other pets like cats and dogs.

If no one has told you this,

You tie a bow to tie your shoelaces differently than you tie a bow that you need to look pretty. That's why your waist ties keep looking wrong.

The first step to tying a bow is to loop the two pieces over each other, like this. The important thing to look at is that one of the tails is now on top of the knot, and the other tail is under the knot. Here, the tail hanging on the left side comes from up top, ans the right tail come from underneath.

When you tie your shoes, you form a loop with the tail that comes on top, and wrap it with the tail that is on the bottom. This makes the center of your bow a square knot, which is strong and doesn't slide.

However, no matter how long you spend making it pretty, it won't sit perfectly flat.

If you follow the exact same bow procedure, but form the loop with the tail on the bottom (and wrap the tail on top around the loop you formed), you can adjust your bow to make it sit flat and pretty.

So if you're feeling like no matter how hats you try, you just aren't getting a pretty bow, remember: up is strong and down is pretty.

Once you've practiced it enough, you can learn to tie it behind your back without looking.

Here's the same thing on a shoelace. Top is crooked but does not slide, and the shoe stays as tight as I tied it. Bottom is prettier but got looser after it was put under stress

Hah, YES.

I have, in fact! They aren't widely sold here but some Asian grocery shops import them. The taste is delicious but it always kind of shocks me at first how hard they are, you just want to bite into them right away but you can't. Eating them is a very texturous experience.
