I had a lot of fun putting this together— and a lot of fun checking these against my predictions. There was never any doubt in my mind that Flora would win, but some of these results genuinely surprised me! Tetra fans really pulled through on the final stretch :)

just a thought i had about something i read once about hyrule’s game lore, i forget whether it’s canon lol

In my brain, this is how old everyone in the chain is:

Time: physically about 30 but he has lived anywhere between 50 and 500 years, nobody knows, not even him. Usually just answers with "ask malon" if questioned.

Warriors: 26, says 24 if someone asks, because he genuinly keeps forgetting

Sky: actually 24, but answers in loftwing years just to be a menace when someone asks

Twillight: 20, sometimes messes up and says how old he is in wolf years because Midna used to tease him by doing that and he is an angsty boy.

Four: 19. If you ask any more questions you get stabbed.

Wild: 17. Says 117 if asked. Does not elaborate. He told Aurora why once and now Aurora does the same thing. Hyrule is going insane and Twilight has gone insane ages ago

Hyrule: 16. He thinks. Hes not actually sure but that is what his Zeldas said so thats what hes going with(i forgot to write him in im so sorry my boy)

Legend: 14/15. If asked he says 19. He pretends to be an adult and people somehow belive him. At this point he is just praying the rest of the chain never meet Fable, Myth or Ballad

Wind: 14/15 too. Answers with his actual age like a normal person wtf is wrong with you people

Bonus:

Myth and Ballad(troforce heroes) are both 17. They bully Legend a lot.

Fable is Legend's twin and also bullies him a lot.

The rest of the Zeldas are the same age as their Links, but if you meet Tetra you will know she is 2 months older than Wind.

When asked how old Time is, Malon will say he is "as old as time". She finds this funny. So does Time. The only other person to find it funny is Hyrule.

If you ask Ravio how old Legend is, he will, no matter the circumstance, say he is 13. Legend has to be restrained to avoid any casualties.

The 'I take long naps/I have friends who are birds' club!

Here's Sky with Snow White and Aurora! I just think that they would love how sweet Sky is, and, yes, they would all relate about being put into a long slumber (or for Sky, his Zelda being put into a long slumber). Also, they are all dreamers, and I could totally see Sky listening to their stories about romance and telling his own.

I hope everyone is having a wonderful November so far! 🍁

This comic is based on @linderosse 's Weilders of Wisdom comic where EoW and AoL Zelda are the same person. I am obssessed with that concept and the angst potential it has.

I decide to put my own personal twist on it, where Silent's (EoW Link) ghost lingers in the chamber where Aurora/Echo slept, unable to move on to the after life. Phantom (ST Zelda) is able to see spirits and ghosts after the events of her game and reasures Silent that what happend centuries ago was not his fault. Poor boy feels like he failed to protect his princess 😢

Imagine if all our Zelda, except Sun, had all a twin brother.

All of those twin brothers were seen as misfortune. The sign that the evil was coming back.

So all of them were killed.

All of them.

Except Legend.

Probably because he was also the hero and Hylia was super careful and make sure that nobody dangerous for the baby would be here + Legend's uncle who is the best uncle.

Imagine the Zelda learning it.

Dot, criying in Four's arms. Make him promise that he'll not let that happened to her children. (Sadely maybe he became the broken hero before she became a mother)

Dusk, keeping it for herself because Midna is gone and she is not THAT close of Twilight. When we see the game,n they look like more co-workers against evil that friends.

Tetra, who thinks he died of sickness.

 Lullaby, who has a good relation with Time (more or less) but they're not that close to share something THAT personal. But she must have spoke with Impa about it Maybe Impa TRIED to save the baby.

Artemis totally speak about it with Warriors and Impa and make them promise they would protect her son is he has ever a son one day.

Flora, wondering if it's her fault. Wondering why her dad did that. Hoping that he didn't know about it. And Wild being horrified.

Dawn and Aurora ...well that' a mess for them too. because one of them has had her twin brother killed but a little brother spared? WHY? Why hert twin had to die then?

All the Zelda, meeting Legend: One Of Us

Honestly, that would be awful. Some of them would have no clue until they were told and others might actively remember what happened. None of them was able to do anything about it, and they all would feel guilty that they couldn't save a sibling despite saving their kingdoms.

I do feel like, if they did meet Legend with such knowledge, and realized what he is, they would all sort of cling onto him because meeting him is the closest they will ever have to meeting their brothers, and maybe they decide to direct all the feelings about the whole thing onto him.

Maybe some of them would resent him a bit, for living when their brothers had to die, but given that most of the princesses are pretty mature, I think the majority would rather get to know him and ask to spend time with him, even though they know he's not what they lost, but everyone grieves in their own way, yeah?

If it was that common though, it would be interesting to see why all princes are killed in such a world, especially if they were essentially the other half of a pair that always comes into being. Like, my theory about why princes are killed works in a world where they are rare, but in a world where they're a constant? Somehow, I have a feeling it would be even darker than what I imagined T-T

That said, I'm now imagining a world where Artemis does have a son and Warriors somehow ends up having to run away with the kid and raise him, Uncle Aflon style, and meeting the chain with said baby in hand. Like, that scarf is definitely baby-swaddling material but I'm also a sucker for Dad Wars, and also, the angst potential? All around?!?!?!?! I'm in love!

My favourite hc about prophetic dreams in the royale bloodline is that they came from Sky

Aurora: prophetic dream?

Artemis: prophetic dream.

Dot: Those dreams are both a blessing and a curse!

Lullaby: I'm genuinely so glad that Time also gets them, I know I'm not insane!

Flora: I only recently started getting them and I can confirm that they're *TERRIFYING* do you know how many times I've seen scenes of L-Wild being put into danger and having to deal with the fact that I can't even intervene!?

Tetra: I HATE when that happens! It happend so many times while me and Sunshine were seperated during the War of Ages!

Fable: Sunshine.. your denial of your feelings is a river in the desert..

Artemis: Goddesses.. I still remember how you would barely sleep until you two were reunited

Sun: wait wait.. They're really that bad? I guess I can manifest a quick vision of my Link but they aren't as terrifying as how you're describing it!

Spiting Image of a Live Action Hyrule!

While thinking about the Zelda Movie that may eventually come out, I was watching the 1968 Zeffirelli version of Romeo and Juliet. Excellent film, gorgeous. And I nearly spat out my drink when I saw the young actor playing Benvolio.

This fine young man (though not so young anymore, since it was the 60's lol) is Bruce Robinson - you cannot tell me this isn't the spiting image of what Hyrule would look like if the Linked Universe was live action (never happening, but I can dream!) I mean look!

Look at him! He's even wearing a green tunic! Curly brown hair and tan skin! Even the upturned button nose! And Mr. Robinson's has such a quiet charm and easy grin in his role of Benvolio.

My shipper heart here wants to believe that this is Hyrule sneaking onto Aurora's balcony to reunite with her, as portrayed by a young Rachel Hurd-Wood.

In addition, I feel the movie's hot, dry, dusty, violent but still beautiful Verona perfectly matches our beloved Traveler's Hyrule! LOOK AT IT!

We’re taking a quick break from the main plot of Wielders of Wisdom to cover a short interlude about Aurora I’ve had planned for a while— now with 100% more Echo :). You can imagine this happens sometime before the events of The Founder’s Call.

Also, shoutout to this cute art by @starshinedreamer for the idea that Flora gave Dawn blue nightshades from her era! Dawn grew more of them, and put some around the room Echo was asleep in to make the place feel a bit more cozy. (Echo doesn’t go back to this room much though.)

Okay hear me out: Sky and Sun started the royal bloodline, yes? So what if Groose got married too eventually, and his kid started a ranch. The kid had a son named Talon, who named his daughter Malon. They met Four.

A few generations later, someone named their kid after good ol' Talon, and he named his daughter Malon as well. She married Time. They had kids and Twillight happened.

But in the downfall timeline, another Lon had a son, who had another kid, and generations later there was a Lon who fell in love with the princess. They got married and had twins, a boy and a girl. But since Hyrule isnt supposed to have princes, the son was given to his father's brother, a loyal knight.

The boy then grew up to be the hero of Legend, not knowing his parentage until being told by one of the golden godesses.

He then meets the chain, realizes he is related to Sky, and pretends like he is not a prince because Warriors would tease him so much, and because Sky already is a mother cucoo, and he doesnt need more of that. Then he meets Malon and both him and Twillight have a crisis.

Later, the princess, now nicknamed Fable, has a kid, who then has two kids. One of which ends up asleep for 100 years, before being saved by a half fairy named Link. The same as her great uncle.

Add onto that Wild being Twillights decendant, Wind being related to an alternate version of Marin, and Warriors somehow being related to Legend for extra emotional damage and you're good to go

Slowly his prayers got tainted from her indifference

He no longer saw her as anything capable of mercy ,… at least for her soldiers and especially herself

She was cruel on herself and herself only

Her soldiers she cherished but herself she loathed all way

Her gentleness only reached her people,… not herself

Never herself

The holy goddess bleeds for her people , she makes bleed for her people herself again and again

Never her expendable self to be cherished by them

Never had herself belonged under her protective glow

She walks the surface … , the blinding sun giving warmth as she burns out herself as she goes forth

Her mercy is sacrifice of her mortal shells

Her light shines bright on her people

As it sears her children and never shines on herself

Her holy blood boils under her mercy

Link learned her way well

He and his sister and all her other mortal shells to be discarded

For her mercy

For her atonement for the sun may loathe her lights but she loves her soldiers as they go on to keep her light aglow

But her lights she despises enough that they may never be enough for her even as they wander on to keep her glow

The beautiful sun would sacrifice herself for her knight as she did the very first time

Even if her light glows in her knight

She will just dim it one day

O for she will lover her knight then again

As she loves her knight but loathes herself more

Her light shines bright forever more
