Take it easy dude but take it
Okay so, as I said, it's pretty clear that Kosa won't pass or it will stay the place it is now for a while, even social media are opposing to it because they agree or not with their anti-lgbt+ stuff they realize that it would take away a lot of their users (For fucks sake, even Google seems to oppose) The main reason Kosa became a bigger problem this year is because a co-sponsor of Kosa managed to convince that the people who opposed to Kosa were on their side now, which was not true because he only convinced those people to be neutral instead of fully opposing And because we have been pretty loud and people of power are also taking action in making sure it doesn't pass, I will say, we are safe
However and here's where the title makes sense, because of one little inconvenient Kosa almost passed, which is why i'm gonna ask you, even after Kosa doesn't passes, please DON'T forget about it, chill out, take your time to be away from this issue and celebrate, but every now and then keep checking on Kosa to see the news because they're clearly not giving up
And at the very first instance that they will try to pass it again, immediately start sending emails, making calls and signing up against it, the more loud we are the more unlikely it'll pass
With that said, I will probably make posts about Kosa if something big happens that requires it, as I'm adding a Kosa thing on my pinned post in a minute, I also want to take it easy, I did everything I can which is signing up every petition (ONCE) against Kosa that I could find and wrote an email
#Oh btw this is something I found more funny than anything#So there's this article saying Kosa should be passes and said that social media are opposing to it#(Clearly they are)#And it puts companys like Google in the bad for#SQUASHING ANY PROPOSAL SIMILAR TO KOSA#And spending lots of money on it#Like they do realize that they're talking about Google and Facebook right#Idk if I was writing the article and saw that fucking GOOGLE is against the bill I would change my mind because fucking GOOGLE#Anyways#Kosa#Stop the kosa bill

More meta reading regarding Doramitsu and Chapter 238
I still think about that sole doramitsu facebook page that posted a short meta reading about chap 238, that draken didn't even give mitsuya a chance to contradict him, because if mitsuya did, it could falter his intention to rejoin the delinquency.
I reread the chap for umpteenth, & notice that mitsuya did so little speaking beside answering draken's questions. and yes, of course, since it was flashback, it was very possible that any other reaction wasn't shown, but it made me think that the meta reading is not farfetched.
let's start with this.
draken definitely called mitsuya for this meeting. "long time no see" means they haven't met each other for quite some time. draken could always choose to go back to delinquency w/o telling anybody. but he thought, mitsuya needed to know.
they talked about what they have been up to. draken and mitsuya clearly had communicated before, they knew about each other's business.
and I'm gonna point some things that actually had bugged for a while but I can't pinpoint before.
1. It was possible that draken and mitsuya arrived at the shrine at the same time, that was why we were shown they're walking and taking stairs. but it seemed too intentional. as if draken didn't want to face mitsuya, he kept walking ahead him, not by mitsuya's side when he could easily do that. it is as if wakui put an unreachable distance between them, it was as if draken had placed the sign of "we can not walk together anymore" all over the place. and I like the implication of "mitsuya, you have to stand back, you have to stay behind."
2. draken spoke with normal voice before. it was just two of them. even in the middle of blister, draken didn't need to raise his voice. but he did and mitsuya noticed it. there had to be some emphasis while draken called his name. that was when mitsuya realized something's up.
and I bet, draken's tone changed too. the surprise on mitsuya's face was genuine. I don't think he could take a guess the meeting that draken initiated was what about. but when mitsuya heard draken's demeanor changed, he knew it wasn't something he expected.
3. draken purposefully showed his side-profile. I have thought about this part for some time. this was mitsuya's memory, this was how he depicted draken. with blushed cheeks from the winter, a smile played on his lips as he thought about unable of leaving toman behind.
and I think about how he kept talking without looking at mitsuya. he had his back against mitsuya the whole time. he missed all of emotions on mitsuya's face when mitsuya heard about his plan. he didn't see how mitsuya initially reacted.
and it's interesting to see it from shipper's google, because what if draken did not want to look at mitsuya's eyes? what if he couldn't bear to tell him about going back to delinquency straight to mitsuya's face?
4. the defining moment. draken turned his head to say the words, "I'm leaving, please don't follow me."
BUT BELS. I THOUGHT YOU BELIEVED MITSUYA'S OBVIOUS CRUSH WAS UNREQUITED?
Yes. I did. but I'm Doramitsu shipper by heart, and I can't help to collect all the tell-tales signs that it might be requited if the time was right, if everything was alright like it was supposed to be.
and this panel.
oh god, the defining moment.
where do I start.
I'd love to think, draken had to stare right into mitsuya's eyes to tell him the words. If he didn't, he might:
a) unable to convince mitsuya
b) regretted that he didn't see mitsuya for the last time
mitsuya was loyal, if draken didn't look at him when he said them, mitsuya'd think that he could prevent draken from going, or telling him he wouldn't stop following him. but draken look into his eyes.
and mitsuya knew, there's no room for arguments. drakens words are final.
draken didn't give mitsuya a chance to stop him. and I'm pumped to think about million reasons why he didn't want to. he told mitsuya about rejoining delinquency when he could be easily, well not telling him at all. but he didn't give mitsuya a chance to argue either, so why?
because mitsuya mattered to him. leaving without any explanation would be harsh, not only for mitsuya, but for draken himself. he was properly saying goodbyes, because mitsuya was a piece of puzzle that stood between the thin line of the "normal" life and "delinquent" life. draken knew it.
it's nice thoughts to think, that small part of draken expected mitsuya to deny his last wish. that he would stubbornly ignore draken's request, and continued to follow him. they're twin dragons of toman after all. and I believe mitsuya wanted it so badly. he either wanted to ask draken to stop and reconsider, or wanted to tell draken that he couldn't stop following him. but it was mitsuya.
and mitsuya knew draken, he knew those weren't things draken wanted to hear.
instead, I could picture him, with a sad, but also encouraging smile, "this is a goodbye?"
because it is.
"it can be," draken looked away.
and he didn't see how mitsuya stared at him longingly, but he could hear him say, "take care then, draken."
take care of yourself.
and draken would grin at him, "you too! better become a famous fashion designer, so that I can brag I know that guy, he used to be my buddy!"
and this is when this panel hits harder.
this interesting piece. a competition as big as this, doesn't just get announced out of the blue. I have suspicion that mitsuya had planned to submit his piece, to prove himself to draken.
when he was alive.
he had to know about the competition long time ago, maybe even short after his last meeting with draken. it was completely my headcanon, but I think mitsuya always plans to win the awards, only to reject it and go back to following draken. it lined up with everything.
he proved to draken, he could be a great designer, but also, that toman was a special to him as it was to draken. and following draken was never a questionable decision for him. mitsuya always had it planned all along.
until draken died.
that was why he was stuck. what's the point of winning if he didn't have anyone to prove his point to?
and you know, who prompted him to get unstuck?
a delinquency life knocked at his door in the form of takemichi.

Translation Throwback Series (Part XII): Julian Brandt Interview with DW “Facebook is not my thing” (March 3, 2017)
You can read „Julian Brandt is hunted by everyone“ all the time. Do you notice it? What do you think about it?
Ju: I don’t search for something like this by myself, but I have alot of football-crazy fans sending me screenshots from newspaper articles or stuff like that. I notice it and I take it as recognition – but that’s all.
You are considered one of the greatest offensive talents in the Bundesliga. Where do you see your strengths?
Ju: I don't really like talking about my strengths. I prefer to talk about my weaknesses. Whenever I talk about my strengths, I feel like I'm raving about myself and I don't feel so comfortable in that role. I think I'm a pretty solid sprinter for my size. I also feel relatively safe in ball handling. And there are definitely one or two more things that work quite well for me.
And your weaknesses?
Ju: I am not the greatest ball conqueror. I don't win many duels per game. Of course I do my best, but it has never really been my strength. I would also like to score goals with my head more often. And my goal for the season is to shoot at the goal more often. This is really difficult at the moment because I always have other things on my mind – like I want to dribble again or want to pass again. This is a shortcoming at the moment, and I definitely have to change that.
One of your strengths is one-on-one. Do you visualize such situations before the game and decide how you want to solve them on the pitch?
Ju: No not at all. I'm actually always very relaxed before the game, so everything that happens, just happens. I'm also not a guy who has rituals before the game, like a guy who sits down in a room and closes his eyes for two minutes. I don't need that at all. I just go on pitch and when the referee blows his whistle, it starts.
Are there special speeches that coaches do before a game – even at the national team? Apart from tactical stuff?
Ju: No, and I also believe that the coaches know that they don't have to say anything special to me. You don't have to talk to me that much. You just have to let me do stuff, and then it will fit. I am simple. I don't need a lot of words, just tranquility.
Tranquility is important to you. Is this the reason why you don’t have a Facebook page?
Ju: Facebook is not really my thing. I try to stay away from social media. You post something, do some competitions. That's not me. It’s why I haven’t used it until today. I know you may have to rely on it at some point, because of course Facebook has a very wide reach and can also have certain advantages, but so far I have never craved for a Facebook page. Of course there are many people who say it would be smart to have one. I don't have a desire for it yet. Then you could start with Twitter right away, have a Google+ account, your own website. I don't know, I guess it will be a lot at some point.
Did your father advise you against this?
Ju: My father always says: "The more you publicly reveal about yourself, the more you open yourself up for people to attack you. It is better to play well on the pitch and to restrain yourself because my private life is nobody else's business." And I think he's right. I don't like to call my father my advisor, but my main person of contact. He gives me his opinion, and in the end I decide for myself.
What is the most important thing you learned from him?
Ju: Being down-to-earth. When you live the life of a professional football play, a lot changes. I went to a football academy at the age of 15 and from then on put my childhood into the back a bit. I had to grow up relatively quick. I am now im in public and I have to value certain things more than others and also act as a role model. Otherwise you move into an area quickly where people label you as arrogant. You should always know where you come from and never let your feet loose ground.
How difficult is it, not to leave ground?
Ju: I think it's not easy, especially when you walk down the street and everyone tells you what a great player and what a great person you are. It's not easy to stay normal because you start to believe these people. It doesn't have to be right what they say. If you have no family or good friends in your back – at the same time when the big money comes, that's not an easy task. Especially if you are a young player. I have the greatest respect for people who manage to stay "normal" anyway. For me, no player is arrogant because he drives a fast car - everyone would do that if he had a lot of money. It's about not bragging about it. For me thats the difference.
Your father once said: "Everything you need in life can be covered with the family." Would you agree with that?
Ju: There are two or three things that matter most, such as family and health. You realize in football how painful it can be to be injured. You sacrifice your body a bit and you realize what good it is, to stay healthy. When I look at the team, they're all pretty big family people. Many now are having children or already have children. That is the most important thing for them, and we often talk about it. Playing football is the greatest thing for any footballer, to win and be in the spotlight. But each of the boys says the most important thing is the family. Many are also so happy when their child is born healthy. This shows that this is what really matter in life.
Back to football: when you see Julian Draxler flourish at PSG and Leroy Sané at Manchester City - do you have to take a step abroad at some point to develop?
Ju: You can do it, but I don't think you have to do it. Julian Draxler and Leroy Sané are the best examples since they are playing great and made it. Hopefully the two will continue like this.
Where do you see your own future?
Ju: At the moment I'm not really thinking about it. At the moment we have a few things to do here in Leverkusen, that’s where our and my full concentration lies. I've been here for almost two and a half years now and I'm really relaxed.

Hey folks! Musta? I just wanted to talk about my 30-day life without social media!
my rules: no facebook, twitter, and instagram
1. what i did before the challenge
i made an spread on my journal related to this challenge entitled "quitting social media for a month". i wrote down 'my expectations', like being more productive and stop comparison. then, i also made a "bucket list" while doing this 30-day challenge like quality time with my family and friends, changing my bed sheets, get a score of line of 5 in midterm exam, etc.
i wrote down my start and end dates. start date: aug 4, 2019. then i left the end date as blank. so here's the fun side... i just remembered that im doing this challenge, then i counted the days and realized that today (sept 2, 2019) is the deadline. i thought its on sept 4 or whatever haha! 😂 meaning i am not that excited on using social medias
2. my experience
in the first week, it feels unusual cause i am used scrolling to social medias, but later on, everything is so good
i feel less problematic! social media esp twitter has a lot of rants and toxicity (honestly speaking) / i feel somehow updated! sometimes twitter is the topic in our circle of friends and i am like "???"
youtube is my best friend!!!
i admit that i opened my social medias but only a glimpse, like checking notifications or visiting an account. i am NEVER tempted to scroll down for so long!
i tried to find an online job, unfortunately, i failed! i tried applying to google adsense but he hates me and keep on saying the my blog has an adult content even tho there's none. he can just directly just reject me
3. my learnings and realizations
i dont need to tweet every time something popped out on my head
i enjoyed being with amazing youtubers and i feel like they're my irl friends! my old favs are bestdressed, Alex Gonazaga, and Kyo Quijano! my new favs are simonesquared and ClickForTaz! (btw Taz is super duper cool with her solo travels and challenges, i beg y'all to check her channel out)
i miss my online business slash making my own money which makes me feel like i am sophia of girlboss (my fav netflix series)
I have seen so many people who did this 30-day no social media challenge which gave me motivation to do this! And now, I am at my last day! And it is definitely not hard and maybe I'll do this again! I am proud of myself for coming this far!
To you who's reading this right now, I challenge you to quit social media for a month! ✨
Lots of love, R

│Hello everyone, I'm here again to
│express my opinion on a topic that
│doesn't really matter.
│ sit tight and enjoy the show
╰──────⊹⊱✫⊰⊹──────
Disclaimer :
this is my opinion
my opinion ≠ facts
(that's an not equal sign btw)
I'm not speaking as an ARMY or EXO-L or Carat or whatever. I'm speaking as me, these are my opinions.
【 intro 】
imagine: you're scrolling through Twitter, Tumblr, Instagram, or you're still one of those people who use Facebook, and that's when you see it. You see the words "at least my faves don't need western validation unlike Floptan Boys" (or something similar).
"Western validation" is often a phrase used to put down BTS.
It's not really just BTS anymore, recently SM put out a statement that said Red Velvet will be releasing an English version of Bad Boy on their new album -- what did people claim ?
Ah yes, western validation.
【 what does western validation mean exactly? 】
There is no official Google term for this, as it's something made up by kpop fans.
From how I see it, western validation means someone (a kpop group) is seeking the approval or wanting to become popular in the west (but really just America).
This term, like how BTS started being considered overrated, only came about AFTER BTS started getting popular in America. If we want, we could say this term was made to be used on BTS. Though, as I mentioned before, it was used on Red Velvet, so it's not a BTS exclusive term, but I think we all know it started out that way.
【 so, how do kpop fans view western validation? 】
how about instead of telling you I share screen shots?
I like how ignorant and stereotypical the last screenshot was.
"no more ugly 1d stans" and then the tags say white people = 1D stans.....
I won't finish what I was going to say
As you can see western validation = bad
【 my opinion 】
here comes the part where I get judged based on my opinion.
You're either going to agree with me or not,
I think the term "western validation" is kind of pointless. People who say "my faves don't need western validation" probably just mean their faves don't need to do interviews in America. However, I believe that the "western validation" is very helpful to some of us. For example, if companies don't see that their group is popular or gaining significant attention in certain areas of the world, they're not going to send their groups to tour there.
That's why a lot of the time, when groups do a "world tour" it's mostly just America, extra parts of Asia and MAYBE South America. Like, EXO is pretty popular in India, so it would make A LOT of sense if EXO did concerts in India (unless if SM doesn't give two craps).
Let's take some other groups for example -- Vixx is doing pretty well in Korea, they've been a group for 6 years now. However, they don't have international success like Seventeen or GOT7, and they've only been to the US three times and have only done 4 shows (in small venues) in three cities, they've also never had an official "world tour".
Seventeen has had one world tour and Got7 has had two and this is because they're popular international -- but where internationally? That's right, in the west.
Monsta X, GOT7, and NCT all have had interviews by billboard and other western media. In a way, groups coming to KCON is western validation.
In a way, catering to fans outside of Korea is looking for validation.
what is even being validated though?
Do they really need to be validated by award shows if they already know they great bop music and have killer choreo? Awards don't tell them they're great at what they do, it's the fans.
BTS got popular internationally before they got popular in Korea. So, they were already validated in the west (by fans) before they were in Korea (by award shows + fans).
Why is it BTS that gets people complaining about them needing western validation to be famous?
I honestly think this constant battle between BTS/ARMYs vs the kpop community is ridiculous. However, both sides constantly feed into it, that's a rant for another day though.
Thanks for coming to my ted talk.
Edit 1:
Also, I just realized that Monsta X, NCT, Super Junior, EXID and BTS were all on Buzzfeed Celeb so if doing activities in America count as western validation all these groups would be looking/seeking it out. Everyone turns their cheek when it doesn't come to BTS.

The transition from 2020 to 2021, the chilling truth.
Written by: Karen Moore
Hello I would like to discuss what is going on in the world right now. What I don't understand is how someone could win the presidency with votes from people who are deceased, by people filling out more than one ballot, and by people who are not even legally American.
The year 2020 has been frightening for many, but honestly I am more worried about 2021. One thing that I am worried about is to letting in a millions of illegals into our country, what the tax rise upon us, guess who's going to be paying for all the illegals. The other major concern that I have is that a lot of people are losing their housing and being evicted. I know, and so do millions of other Americans that President Trump has won the election, and I have never known any president in history that had to go through all the problems that are doing present has gone thorough.
Even before present Trump became our president, right at the moment when he announced that he was running, he was getting back lashes and hates.
I am a pride Republican. When I started to vote though, I was a Democrat. At the time my grandmother was a Democrat, and I decided to become one also for her.
Sadly last year my grandmother died at the age of 97, but she did love Donald Trump.
I don't know what's ahead in 2021, but I do know some things. Like the coronavirus vaccine, and hoping that it will not become mandatory. I feel that everybody has the right to choose what goes in their bodies, but I fear that that right will be taken away from us just like the right that we are struggling with, with freedom of speech.
I honestly do not understand how Joe Biden can continually act as if he did nothing wrong. Also, I do understand a father loves their son, but I do not understand why a parent could allow their child to undergo such corruption that makes their country weaker. Now I do not have children in my own, but I'm sure parents out there understand there are limits to their children's actions, and that bad things need to be dealt with in a reasonable and loving manner. I fear that America, our proud country that we all love in cherish, will become china.
A little about me. I am 36 years old, I work and home care, and my dream is to work from home as a writer. I was born with Goldenhar Syndrome, and couple years ago I was fighting for my social security. I found that President Trump didn't just keep his promises, but he taught me to not put limits on myself. I decided to no longer fight for my social security, but to instead enter back into the workforce.
Yes, 2020 has been a bad year, and I'm afraid 2021 is going to be even worse. The Democratic party has already threatened to let Republicans and Trump supporters get fired from their jobs, they're even being taken off social media such as Facebook and Twitter, and also instagram.
I have not been taking off Facebook or Twitter, or even Instagram for that matter. But I took a personal choice and decided to leave on my own goodwill. I felt if I would stay on those platforms that I would be a hypocrite, for which I am not.
We did have an app called Parler, but that didn't last long. It was a place where Republicans and Trump supporters can get together and talk. And connect with each other which was good. At first I didn't understand how to use it, but then I realized that I really really liked it. The sad thing is, as soon as I liked it it was taken down by Amazon, Google, and Apple.
As of right now the CEO of Parler is currently suing Amazon for their deletion of their app. Right now it seems that Republicans have only basically an app called MeWe, and Ramble. I know there are more, but I can't name all of them at this moment. How can anyone have the right to take anyone's freedom of speech away? America is in America without freedom, and I honestly feel right now that Democratic Party desires full power, obedience, and for America to become a country under one party, the Democratic
