TWST X Warrior cats: Staff

Mentors of Raven Territory

So… I had a very hard time figuring out where the staff fit in to everything here but I think I found a way to make it work. I’m a very bad writer so… enjoy my mess of an Au

- The event that happened before this was the banishment of the titans

- After this the clans were in disarray, with new territories opened there were many battles and arguments of who gets what. In all of this chaos came an increase of negative energy and blot as a result the magic became very corrupted which caused Beast war. Cats with a Dire Beast form got majorly corrupted and went insane.

- The Clans untied to defeat the corrupt Dire Beast. It was a hard long battle, many great warriors were lost but in the end.

- The leaders agreed in the end that this could never happen again.

- In the best attempt to make peace they created a neutral territory around the great tree and the moonstone, any cat could go there at any time of day. Hoping that this would broker peace between the clans.

- when CrowStar took over he decided to take it a step further and have Warriors and apprentices alike to learn how to fight, hunt and master magic.

- Many didn’t agree with this but begrudgingly went along with it because it was an order from starclan

Lavenderclan, Year 7, p. 2 When Greenleaf is finally arrived, and the clan should be thriving, they suffer a great loss. As Elmstar is out with their appretice Copperpaw, they suddenly find themselves being chased by a dog. Not wanting his apprentice to be hurt, Elmstar urges Copperpaw to run back to camp for help, while he holds the dog off. This noble act keeps the apprentice alive, but ultimately causes the leader to loose all of his. By the time help arrives, it's too late. Ivytail and Cheetahlilac end up chasing the dog off, with only Ivytail earning a scratch. They take his father's body back to camp. As the clan mourns, Embertail makes her way to the Star Pool, to gain her new lives. When she stares into the pool, and her vision darkens, it's not the bright starlight and shining pelts she had expected to see. Instead there is a smell of rot, and a slight dark fog all around. She is approached by a tom she doesn't know, glowing faintly in reds, who offers her one life. She takes this, and his praise, and awakens as the clan leader. She vows to herself she will keep the clan alive, by whatever means necessary. She cannot allow them to be weak, and leadership needs to stay within her strong paws to do so. She returns to camp to mixed feelings. She is very aware that many would think her brother is the better choice for leader, and she knows they would expect her to choose him for Deputy. Instead, she names Russetleaf. He is well liked in the clan, and though he's aware he wouldn't be the clan's first choice, being so new to the clan, he's determined to do his best in the position. As for Copperpaw, she gives him to Lightclaw to finish training. She knows her sister wasn't even thought grieving her lost kit, and now with their father's death she feels lost and depressed. She hopes helping train another kit she is close to will help bring her out of it. At the same time, Copperpaw feels responsible for the death of Elmstar, and vows to become strong so that no one need ever protect him again. The clan is on unsteady ground, heading into cooler seasons...

Ashfur and squirrelflight art based on a weird dream i had. Description of the dream under the cut

Ok so theres a lot i domt remember and most of the dream was about other stuff but the part i wanna talk about is the obligatory Fake Game. This time it was…. Uhhhh… An experimental warrior cats brutal hard precision platformer? You played as Squirrelflight, trying to get through the dark forest after ashfur imprisoned you. (I think starclan and the dark forest were being referred to as lightclaw and darkclaw for some reason?) I think the first part of the game took place in the world of the living, and maaaybe starclan, but unfortunately that part wasnt explored in the dream

Also the whole game had these like…. Really odd and wonky fully animated + voice acted cutscenes???? And the whole game (at least post In the dark forest) had this bright black and neon lineart look to it (except the cats, who were in full color.) The designs were also VERY sparkle cat-y, and i dont think i wouldve recognized squirrelflight as squirrelflight if she wasnt being called that djdbdndh (then again that may have been part of the dark forest visual style)

Unfortunately i dont remember most of the game- i do remember a tiny bit of the gameplay but from what i could tell it was p standard precision platformer fare. BUT I DO REMEMBER THE. ENDING CUTSCENE.

So squirrelflight finally reaches ashfur, whos been trapping her in this awful dark forest labriynth. Obviously she yells at him a bit, asking what he even WANTS at this point since . Obviously this evil labriynth is Not condusive to any kind of relationship. However, ashfur seems kind of…. Unstable? Going on weird hard to understand rambling and such- and… Starts namedropping stuff like Harper Collins and Erin hunter??? He also mentions crashing the dark forest and starclan into the world of the living or something. (Also squirrelflight debatably understands what ashfur is talking about when he mentions the meta stuff)

But, squirrelflight brings the conversation back to the topic at hand, and the next exchange i actually recall pretty well. "Look, if you want to kill me so bad, why don't you try it now already?!" (As opposed to indirectly doing it w the precision platformer stuff cjcmhccmhcmg)

"Though that would make me happy… Theres one thing that will make me MUCH happier!"

…..And ashfur just kinda fucking. Claws his own face up til it Kills Him in front of her!??!!???????? The stability of the labriynth immediately starts crumbling as it was tied to ashfurs existence, and its implied this Also would cause the dark forest crashing into the other realities thing. Squirrelflight. P much has a panic attack, unable to really do anything while this happens. Theres a shot of Completely Normal clans all looking at… Idk the developers house? Harper collins inc?? Which has the rainbow flashing of the game indoors. The clan cats pretty much shrug their shoulders and leave (despite squirrelflight still being missing)
