On September 6th, 2023, I posted the first five pages of my Mega Man Manufactured fan comic to instagram. Today marks the one year anniversary of that fancomic, so I figured I’d make something to commemorate.
Thank you to everyone that reblogged, liked, or even just read a bit of this comic. Hopefully, next year I’ll have a few more characters to draw.

I said it over on twitter but it bears repeating over here.
Louis is light-skinned, him being black doesn't mean he automatically has the darkest skin tone in the room, and it's noticeable and odd when you choose to draw him darker than Armand. I understand the want to make sure you aren't whitewashing but we've gone too far in the other direction and it's still not great. You do need to still put in the effort to not just slapping any skin tone on a person. This happens with Claudia a ton too, especially with season 1 Claudia.
Black people are not a monolith. We aren't a vague collection of swappable features to pick and choose at random, and its starting to feel like artists don't care to actually draw how black characters look as long as they are recognizable as a generalized black person. Making non-black characters notably lighter and smaller in stature compared to a black character has roots in a bunch of racist shit, and it feels especially egregious in Louis' case. Ofc as an artist you're going to emphasize and stylize one way or another, but you also need to recognize that you aren't creating in a vacuum, and how you depict people is reflective of how many of us are seen.
Innovative extreme ultraviolet lithography technology dramatically benefits of semiconductor manufacturing
Professor Tsumoru Shintake of Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology (OIST) has proposed an extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography technology that surpasses the standard in semiconductor manufacturing.
EUV lithography based on this design can work with smaller EUV light sources, reducing costs and dramatically improving reliability and lifetime of the machines. It also consumes less than one-tenth the power of conventional EUV lithography machines, helping the semiconductor industry become more environmentally sustainable.
This technology has been made possible by solving two issues that were previously considered insurmountable in this field. The first involves a novel optical projection system consisting of only two mirrors. The second involves a new method to efficiently direct EUV light onto logic patterns on a flat mirror (the photomask) without blocking the optical path.
I love that the shades you put on Mega Man look like Rockman Shadow's shades.
Oh, wow… Thanks, but to be completely honest, I didn’t even realize lol
But that is a neat coincidence!
Actually, I based Rock's visor off of this box art for Megaman 10…
…and the visor design for Megaman in @miserymet’s comic Megaman Manufactured, which inspired SS!Rock having the visor to begin with (screenshot taken from the comic itself; I recommend reading it, it’s pretty cool)
But again, that is one neat coincidence!
Thanks for the question/comment, @chirin-chironup!
in what fucking universe is this lozenge a mustang. you can't just stick the little pony and the taillights on a random nondescript 2020s oversized hatchback-suv-thing and earnestly tell us that this has any meaningful design continuity with her
