I feel like aizawa and class 1A would get life 360 because aizawa wants to know where they are in case of a villain attack but eventually it gets turned on him and he gets messages from everyone like "Mr aizawa can u get us maccas pls?"

id also like to imagine that izuku, being the nervous wreck he is, only has his location turned on for aizawa, bakugo, todoroki, and MAYBE Allmight.

Just out of curiosity, what are your feelings on the Life360 app?

My family use it but we’re all adults and we turn location sharing on and off as we please, no questions asked, though it’s pretty much always on unless someone is trying to save battery life. We mostly use it for when we’re meeting up or before calling each other to make sure they’re not at work or the cinema or whatever. We are all moderators so everyone can make changes to the circle.

As you can probably tell we have a very relaxed and healthy relationship which is why it’s a perfect app for us but I can imagine it would be a nightmare if you have unpleasant or straight up abusive family members.

I also have a circle with my housemate but we always have location sharing turned off unless we’re meeting up or out somewhere together. We also use it for when we’re doing two separate things but have to be done around the same time, like I’ll walk the dogs while she go get food and with the app I’ll be able to tell if I have time to chat with other dog walkers or if I need to hurry home. But when you live together there’s a need for more privacy and clear boundaries which is why it’s turned off most of the time.

I can totally understand if people hate apps like this but it’s perfect for my ADHD ass because I keep losing track of time and both my mom and I have a tendency to just wander off and disappear in a crowd.

so, me and my friends have life360 together, which is an app that shows location and whatnot. for it to work, everyone has to choose a familial role (idk why, i think the app is made for families?), and...

even my PHONE knows i'm the mum friend 😭

For about a year now my mom and I have been using an app called life360. It's basically a GPS so we can keep an eye on where the other is. It has loads of other functions as well and we're both worrywarts 😂

The feature I use the most is the battery tracker. This app will tell me when my mom's phone is at 10% and I will then tell her to charge it. This happens far more often than you might think, my mom is NOT good at keeping an eye on stuff like that. Can't count the amount of times her phone has run out of battery at really inconvenient times 😐

So we both benefit from this function. Others would probably think it's weird or annoying that we can keep an eye on each other this way, but to us it gives a sense of security. And it's practical as well.

If I have children someday, I hope they'll agree with this as well 😂

Having Life360 in a non-toxic family is weird. Like, it basically just exists to tell me which of my family members can’t keep their phones charged.

Will never forget that I met the CEO of Life360 and he straight up told our group of students that he basically couldn’t care less if his app saved lives he made it to sell your geolocation and relationship data.

I just got an ad about something called life360 about how she used it to find her family members in walmart, and it even showed what aisle they were on and what direction they were facing. I didn't realize it was an ad at first I thought it was some post trying to show how dystopian and creepy it is??? Same with the Bereal social media app. Do people not realize most stalkers are people you know, who at one point you trusted, who have some power over the victim?? Most stalkers aren't strangers. Most rapists aren't strangers. Most predators aren't strangers. This is actively SO DANGEROUS for all people, but most especially people in dangerous situations. PLEASE keep these things in mind and be safe online. Don't share so much information about yourself. It's literally so dangerous. (Most of those sites sell your data and aren't secure against hackers too)
