The Intern - Part 7
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 Part 6
Summary: You are an intern at MSG, strictly forbidden to become involved in with any of the Rangers players. However, this becomes difficult when you catch the eye of a certain player. Word count: 2k
Warnings: none, this is the second to last part though!! and I wrote this kinda quick I'm so sorry if there are typos towards the end don’t hate me
Things were finally looking up. Were they perfect? No, you imagined the next few months staying away from Lias would be hard. However, knowing at the end of it there would be a chance to make it work was enough to make you giddy.
So giddy that you didn’t notice how Beth barely returned your hello when you walked in this morning. Nor did you notice her tone when she asked you to meet her in her office in five minutes. If your head hadn’t been in the clouds, thinking about what could be in a few months from now, you may have been a little more prepared to walk into her office and see-
“Lias,” you heard yourself gasp. He was sitting at one of the chairs of her desk, looking like a kid that called down to the principals office.
“Have a seat,” Beth said sternly. Your stomach dropped. She knew. But how? Did someone tell? Did Lias tell? No, he wouldn’t, not after your talk. He wouldn't do something so shitty to you, you knew that. “Do you two know why you’re here?”
You both remained silent. Of course you knew, but what the hell were you going to say? You couldn’t show your hand until you knew exactly what she knew and how much detail.
Beth reached into her desk and pulled out two photos, which she placed down in front of the two of you. It was pictures of you when you went out to talk. One was through the window of the coffee shop and the other was you two hugging on the steps.
“How did you get these?” Lias asked what you were thinking. Your stomach churned at the thought of someone watching you and taking pictures without you even knowing.
“They were posted on a Ranger’s blog that I found while looking for something for a story,” Beth replied, “But the bigger problem is that these even exist. Care to explain why you’re blatantly breaking my rules?”
“It’s not what it looks like,” you blurted out.
“Please, y/n, don’t bull shit me,” Beth replied flatly.
“It wasn’t anything, seriously,” Lias jumped in, “We are friends and we went out for coffee. I don’t see what the big deal is.”
“The big deal is I have rules for my interns not to spend alone time with any of the players and y/n went behind my back and did it anyways,” Beth said, turning to you and shaking her head. You felt tears pressing at the back of your eyes, but the last thing you wanted to do was cry right now. You knew Beth would not take kindly to that.
“I’m sorry I-”
“Save it, I don’t want any excuses. I’ve seen the way you two interact. I thought it was just a close professional bond, but now seeing this... I’m sensing something more is going on between the two of you. I can tell when I’m being lied to. I trusted you a lot and you broke that. I’m going to have to let you go,” Beth told you.
“What! You can’t do that,” Lias snapped.
“I’m sorry but that’s not up to you,” she said.
“I’ll quit, I’ll change teams, whatever, I don't know, but you can’t she needs this,” Lias stumbled over his words as he defended you. You were trying to focus on your breath, feeling you were right on the edge of a panic attack.
“You know you can’t do that, Lias,” Beth replied, unamused by his efforts, “You can go now.” Her and Lias stared at each other for a few moments, before Lias turned to you.
“Just go,” you mumbled. Lias let out a heavy sigh, and you swore you heard an “I'm sorry,” under his breath. The silence in the room after he left was so heavy. You wished you could shrivel up and just die right there. Beth must have sensed how awful it was making you feel because she sat with it for some time.
“In three days the team will have an off day. You can come in then when no one is around and get your things,” Beth told you, “You can leave now.”
You got up, wordlessly and headed for the door. You were afraid If you spoke you wouldn’t be able to hold back the tears. However, right before you left you said, “I’m really sorry.”
“I am too,” Beth replied, “I’ve never been so disappointed.” And with that, you left, managing to keep your tears in until you were back on the street.
____
The next three days were a tortuously slow whirlwind. With crying, lots of crying. It had turned a bit into a pity party, which made you feel pathetic, but you couldn’t help it. At least Jess indulged your moping, never making you feel bad about being a mess.
Between your crying and staring blankly a the wall wondering how your life could have blown up like this, you were desperately searching for an alternative internship placement. You hadn't told your school yet that you were leaving... or getting fired. You thought if you could find something else you could smooth it over by saying it wasn’t a good fit to your schedule or something and it wouldn’t raise many eyebrows. However, at this stage in the game, any placements were already taken, and you wondered how you would explain to an potential supervisor.
“Why are you coming to us months into the semester? A little late isn’t it?”
“Well you see, I was caught having a romantic relationship with one of the players, breaking the only real rule given to me.”
Yeah, that would go over well. With each day that passed, you felt more hopeless. Lias texted you. And called you. You wanted to talk to him, but you just couldn’t. You weren't mad at him, he wasn’t at fault. It was the rule you broke after all and he stood up for you in Beth’s office when you couldn’t find the words. However, talking to him, facing everything that was going on just felt like too much.
You did manage to text him a short message that you were okay (ha!) and that you would talk to him when you had things figured out because you owed him that much. You tossed your phone away before you could tempt yourself with reading any of the messages he left.
There was a brick in your stomach when they day to clear out your desk finally came. You felt like you were going to your execution - dramatic, you knew - but you couldn’t shake the feeling of impending doom. The only saving grace was that none of the players would be there and that the office would be relatively quiet since it was an off day. With any luck you could get in and out and not have to interact with a single soul.
You managed to get into your office without any outside contact. You shut the door behind you, hoping no one would notice you were there. You bit back tears as you began to pack up your things into a tiny box. You were only there a short time, but it all felt so special. Partially because of the amazing experience and doing what you had dreamt of doing since you were a little girl, sitting wide-eyed watching the Rangers play... but partially because of Lias.
You were realizing now that he meant a lot to you, more than you were letting yourself believe. He wasn’t just some guy you wanted to hook up with, he was a guy you wanted to be with. He had a way of making things feel special and exciting that no other lover was ever able to match.
Just as you were thinking you wish you could see him, the door to your office pushed open. You held your breath, thinking it might be Beth to scold again, but it was Lias. You let out a soft gasp, feeling like you somehow had conjured him.
“I hope I’m not bothering you,” he said. He eyed you sympathetically, his soft blue eyes filling you with the greatest sense of peace in the last 72 hours. You couldn’t think of what to say, so you just flung your arms around him. He squeezed you tightly, almost to the point where you couldn’t breath, but you loved it.
“What are you doing here?” you asked when you finally managed to peel yourself away.
“I had to see you,” he replied, smiling faintly, before adding, “I also have something for you, but I gotta show you.” He took you by the hand and pulled you out of the office. You wanted to resist, feeling like you were most definitely pushing It by holding his hand, but what did you have to lose? You were already fired.
Lias led you down the hallway, towards the locker room. You wondered what he had that he had to show you here. When you stepped into the locker room, you were met by nearly the entire team Your brows furrowed in confusion. Had you miscounted the days in your stupor and came in the wrong time?
Before you could speak, a familiar voice asked what you were thinking, “What is this?” You spun around to find Beth being led into the room by Mika.
“We’re all here for y/n,” Lias spoke up, “We don’t want her fired.” Lias stood in front of them all. There were players, such as Fil and Kaapo, that you’d only talked to on occasion. They were nice, but you weren’t close with them like you were with Mika or even Chris. You were surprised, but incredibly moved that they were there in support of you.
“That’s not yo-” Beth tried to speak, but she was cut off.
“But it is,” Lias replied firmly, “No one has been so kind to us all. All you reporters care about is the story, y/n cared about us. She made us all feel special. MSG is as much her home as it is ours, and we won’t play if she isn’t here to ask the questions after.” Everyone nodded in agreement as Lias spoke.
“Seriously?” Beth questioned.
“Seriously,” Mika replied, putting his arm around Lias, “No one should be punished for caring about someone. We all know how great y/n is, she isn’t going to let anything get in the way of that, romantic relationship or not. Let her stay, or you can explain to everyone else why we are suddenly forfeiting games.”
Beth was shocked, and honestly you were too. You couldn't believe they were all doing this for you. You didn’t feel worthy, but you were eternally grateful, even if it didn’t work. The longer the room was in silence, the more you thought Beth was going to tell them no deal, but finally she relented.
“Fine, y/n can stay.” The room erupted in cheers, and you couldn’t help but let out a squeal yourself. Beth seemed displeased, speaking directly to you, “We are going to talk about this tomorrow. Be here your normal time.”
The second she left the room, Lias’s arms were around you, spinning you around in a tight hug. You giggled, feeling absolutely on top of the world, even though you were sure you were in for it tomorrow. You didn’t care, though, you’d rather be miserable with an internship than miserable without one.
“Lias I... I can't believe you did this,” you gushed, “I can’t even thank you enough.”
“You don’t have to,” Lias smiled, “You deserve this. More than anyone I know.” He pressed a soft kiss to your lips, and for the first time you kissed him without any concern in the world. That pulled a few “oohs” from the younger players. You and Lias chuckled as Mika and Chris shooed them from the room.
“This internship is the best thing that ever happened to me,” you sigh, brushing the golden locks out of Lias’s eyes.
“Because it led to meeting some stupid boy?” he teased, though he didn’t realize how right he was.
“No,” you replied, “because it brought me to you.”

how Lias Andersson is like in bed
what Lias Andersson is like in bed:
- he wants you approximately 99.9% of the time
- really really good at eating you out
- even better with his fingers
- loves to leave hickeys all over your body to show that you’re his
- buys you a lot of toys
- no, really, you get a new “discreet” package at least once a month
- loves to see you get yourself of with them over skype when he’s away on a roadie
- likes to give you commands and tell you what to do
- but during actual sex he likes it when you order him around
- maybe use one of his nice ties to tie his hands together so that he can’t touch you and ride him until he’s close to an orgasm before stopping and letting him calm down before starting again
- loves to see you sleeping in one of his shirts especially hockey related shirts that have his name all over the back
his dick:
- big
- like, for real, it’s a lot
- so good though
the experience:
10/10

The Intern - Part 4
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3
summary: You are an intern at MSG, strictly forbidden to become involved in with any of the Rangers players. However, this becomes difficult when you catch the eye of a certain player. Word count: 2k
warning: Smut, this part is a lil choppy im sorry but we got smut so it makes up for it I think
You woke up the next morning with a pounding headache. You hadn’t even drank that much - just a few sips of a cocktail - but you were anxious and barely slept, which was never a good combination.
“I know, I know,” you sighed when you walked out into the living room. You knew Jess would be there waiting for an explanation. Jess let you go to bed without any details last night, which you were grateful - and surprised - about.
“I didn't say anything,” Jess replied innocently, though you could see she was fighting back a smile. You were sure she had an idea of what happened, she just needed you to confirm it.
“Ugh,” you slumped down on to the couch, “We kissed.” You covered your face with your hands, not wanting to see the I-told-you-so smile.
“Color me shocked,” Jess feigned surprise.
“Don’t be so excited, this is really bad,” you replied.
“Was he that bad?”
“No, I mean the kiss was good. Amazing actually, which makes this all so much more worse,” you said.
“Listen, y/n, I know you have this big no romance rule to follow, but like come on. How would your supervisor ever know?” Jess reasoned.
“What if someone saw us?” you questioned.
“Did you kiss in front of people?”
“No it was alone in his room,” you replied.
“Hot,” Jess smirked, “But then how would anyone know?”
“I don’t know,” you frowned, “It just makes me nervous. Like yeah sure a kiss is one thing, but it can’t keep escalating. It’s going to get me in trouble eventually.”
“So what are you gonna do just ignore him?” Jess asked.
“I’m going to have to,” you replied.
“I was joking y/n you can’t ignore this man after you kissed him,” Jess shook her head, “That’s fucked up and you know that.”
She was right. It was really shitty, and you didn’t want to do that to Lias. However, the thought of talking to him made your stomach twist in knots. And how would you do it? You most definitely couldn't have this conversation at MSG, where anyone could hear... but going somewhere alone together wasn’t a good idea either. You didn’t trust yourself alone with him at this point.
You sighed, “I’ll figure something out.”
___
When it came time to go back to your internship you had butterflies in your stomach. You still hadn’t quite figured out how you were going to handle this. Every plan you concocted either made you cringe or damn near go into a panic. Avoidance, while not right, seemed like your best and only option at this point.
“Y/n I need to talk to you in my office,” Beth said before you could even settle into your desk. Your stomach fell to the floor. She knows. Oh god you really fucked this up. You tried to keep a straight face as you sat in the chair on the opposite side of her desk, your mind racing with ways you could cover yourself.
“Is everything okay?” you dared to ask. You prayed she didn’t notice the slight tremor in your voice.
“Yeah I just needed to ask you something,” she replied simply, “Don’t worry it’s good.”
“Oh, great,” you let out a sigh of relief. You were off the hook for now.
“So the team is going to St. Louis in two days and the guy that normally travels with the team had something come up and can’t make it. They’re asking me to stand in for him and I was wondering if you’d like to come with me,” Beth explained.
“I would love to,” you perked up, “I didn’t even know that was a thing interns could do.”
“Not normally, I only invite the really good ones,” she said with a smile.
“I’m honored, thank you so much,” you beamed. You felt a twinge of guilt, you were hiding things from her after all. But you reasoned with yourself it was a one time mistake and you shouldn’t let it cloud something as wonderful as this.
Beth explained it would be a quick trip, arriving the day before and leaving directly after the game. Everything was already arranged for you, all you had to do was show up at the airport on time. That much you could most definitely handle.
The only problem you could foresee was Lias, but you had time to work on that. Beth informed you the team would be practicing a their practice facility leading up to the trip. Just knowing you had a few more days in the clear filled you with an immeasurable level of relief. Maybe you luck would least and Lias wouldn’t bother you at all during the trip.
That hope, however, was short-lived.
He spotted you first just as they were calling the players to board. You had been hanging back, trying to hover behind some of the other support staff on the trip. You were grateful he was already far enough along that he couldn't come back to talk to you, but from the look in his eye you knew he wanted to. A knot began to grow in your stomach. Maybe this wasn’t such a good idea. But there was no turning back now.
The plane ride wasn’t much better. Lias was seated far ahead of you, but every couple of minutes he would turn back to look at you. You kept your eyes trained ahead, pretending to be engrossed by the movie the screen in front of you was playing. You were afraid if you made eye contact he’d try to engage with you, and with Beth sitting right next you you most definitely could not have that happen. Her being asleep was the only thing providing you any comfort, at least she couldn’t see Lias being painfully obvious about his interest in you.
Off the the plane the texts came in. It was nothing crazy, just a few messages about how he was happy to see you here and that he wanted to talk when you got the chance. You didn't know how to answer so you just didn’t.
The only time he actually caught you was in the lobby of the hotel. “Hey, did you get my te-”
“I’m sorry I can’t talk right now Lias,” you brushed him off. You could see on his face it hurt him, which you felt bad about, but at least he dropped it. Finally, you were able to escape to the cover of your room, which, to your delight, you had your own. As much as you liked Beth, you thought it would have been awkward to share a room with her.
You took some time to shower and relax, mindlessly flipping through the TV in just your towel for a bit. Eventually you got to what you were supposed to be doing - watching highlights from the past few times the Rangers have played the views and outlining some questions to ask at the press meeting. And then your phone chimed. Lias again.
y/n please, I need to talk to you. Can I come to your room?
The had bad idea written all over it... Beth was just down the hall. On the other hand, having her so close by may keep you more accountable. And you had to talk to Lias, you couldn’t avoid him forever. This seemed like the only way to do it privately without having to meet at one of your places.
Okay please just be don’t get caught. room 328
You paced the room, wringing your hands nervously as you waiting for the knock. Unfortunately, it didn’t take long to come. You opened the door and pulled him inside, peeking out to make sure no one had seen.
“So you kiss me and then completely ignore me?” Lias asked as you closed the door behind him.
“I didn’t think it was a big deal,” you lied, “It was just a kiss at a party.”
“Oh come on, y/n, I don’t buy that. You don’t even sound like you believe it,” Lias challenged.
“It doesn't matter what I believe,” you sighed.
“But it does,” Lias replied, taking a step closer to you, “You deserve to be happy and to have freedom, these rules are ridiculous.” You were quiet because well, he was right, but also him being so close to you made you nervous. You totally forgot how to speak when his eyes were locked on to yours. “Tell me I’m wrong and I’ll leave, I promise. Just say you don’t want me and I’m gone.”
“Lias...” you voice was just above a whisper.
The next few moments happened slowly, yet in a blink of an eye. One minute his hand was on your face, gingerly rubbing your cheek and the next you were falling on to the bed. You wrapped your legs around him, keeping him close to you as your tongue slid into his mouth.
You slid your hands under his shirt, feeling the muscles on his back. They felt better than you could have imagined. Lias made quick work of your clothes as well, stripping you down to just your underwear.
“We have to be quie- oh,” a moan caught in your throat as he slid his hand down the front your underwear.
“Shh, quiet,” he smirked. You wanted to roll your eyes but they ended up just rolling back into your head. Lias was more than skilled with his fingers. They slid easily into your slick entrance, as Lias kissed your neck. Your hand was woven through his hair, yanking on the golden strands each time you felt like letting out a moan.
He worked circles over your clit, sending little twitches throughout tour body. Your stomach was knotting with pleasure, ready to snap at any moment and flood your system. And with in moments it did just that. You let out a long, blissful sigh as you came around his fingers.
“Fuck,” Lias groaned near inaudibly.
“I need you Lias,” you practically whined. Lias nodded eagerly, leaning over the side of the bed to find his pants that had fallen to the floor. He dug through the back pocket, fishing out a condom.
“Did.. did you know this was going to happen?” you raised a brow.
Lias chuckled as he rolled it down his length, “I was hoping.” You smiled, glad he thought so far ahead. Lias slid back between your legs, looking at you once more to confirm you were ready. After a quick nod he pushed in slowly.
He stretched you out perfectly, you couldn’t believe how good he fit. Lias was feeling it too, the grip on your hips had tightened - like he was trying not to cum right then and there. He moved slowly at first, working both of you up. You arched your back, feeling him push even deeper inside you.
“Lias,” you gasped, your eyes fluttering shut as you felt yourself getting closer. You bit your lip, trying to prevent yourself from being any louder.
“Fuck, yes just like that,” Lias half whispered hand moaned as you rolled your hips to meet his. He moved quicker, his thrusts long and hard. Suddenly your vision was clouded with stars. You gripped his back, stifling a moan into his neck as you came. Lias let out a moan breathlessly, twitching deep inside you as he joined you.
You both caught your breath for a few minutes before Lias pulled out of you. He tossed the condom away and then cuddled back up next to you. “I have to leave right?” he mumbled against your skin. You could feel him pouting against you.
“Unfortunately, I think it would be hard to explain you leaving my room in the morning,” you tried to make light of it,
“Sucks,” Lias murmured, planting a gentle kiss on your shoulder.
“I wish you didn't have to,” you admitted, snuggling closer to him.
Lias smiled softly, “One day I won’t have to. I promise.”

The Intern Part 5
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4
summary: You are an intern at MSG, strictly forbidden to become involved in with any of the Rangers players. However, this becomes difficult when you catch the eye of a certain player.
warnings: none, but this part is super short im sorry!!! I just thought it was better standing on it’s own rather than taxing it on to a different part and at least gives y’all some content since I've been slacking
The next day you woke up, instinctively reaching next to you on the bed. You knew Lias wasn’t going to be there; he had kissed your forehead before leaving last night thinking you had feel asleep. Still, there was an ache in your chest realizing you were alone.
You stayed in bed for a bit, avoiding having to get up to face anybody, especially Beth. You felt like she would look at you and just know what you did. As you watched the sun light slowly beginning to filter through the window of your hotel room, it dawned on you you would always feel like this. Always be carrying around this guilt, always feeling the pain of not being with him in the way you really wanted.
You couldn’t do that. As much as you liked Lias, it would just be too draining. In just the time you were awake now it felt shitty, you couldn’t imagine months of carrying around this secret. You knew you were going to have to talk to Lias, ignoring him never worked, nor was it fair.
You decided it would be best to do back in New York as you finally pulled yourself out of bed. You were glad it was an away a game, as Beth had mentioned there was less time for questions since the team had to rush for a plane. The less time you had to spend around Lias the better.
It sucked as bad as you thought it would to see him. He was playing it cool around Beth, which you appreciated, but the ways his eyes light up when he saw you stung. You knew you were going to hurt him and you hated that.
The whole situation was fucked. You understood why the rule was in place but at the same time you felt like you could keep things professional with Lias. As Beth said, you had a good head on your shoulders. You didn’t doubt that you would be able to navigate the work relationship/personal relationship in an appropriate way. For a fleeting moment you wondered if you could advocate for yourself, but shook it off when a vision of Beth telling you to pack up your office and leave entered your mind. You liked Lias, a lot, but your future was riding on this and you couldn’t risk that.
The only bright side of the day so far was the Rangers winning their game. You told yourself it would put Lias in a better mood and he’d take what you were going to tell him better, but somehow you guessed it wouldn't matter once it got to that point.
Once the plane touched down you shot Lias a text, asking for him to wait at MSG until everyone left so you could meet up and talk. Lias caught your eye, smiling and nodding. You turned away, the pit in your stomach growing heavier by the moment. You knew what you had to say, but how to say it? That was still making your head spin.
Your heart was pounding the whole ride to the Garden. As much as you were exhausted and wanted to go home, you also weren’t ready for the confrontation and every moment of traffic was delaying you from having to face it.
However, it eventually came to an end. The bus pulled in and everyone filed out, making way to the locker room to drop their things off. You said goodbye to Beth, who kicked up the guilt factor by telling you you did a fantastic job on the trip, before hiding in the bathroom until the place was empty.
Once Lias texted you that the coast was clear, you snuck out and into the locker room. At first you didn't see him, but then a warm pair of hands slid around your waist turning you around.
“Couldn’t wait to see me again?” Lias smirked, pulling you in for a kiss. You put your hands up, pushing him away.
“No Lias we can’t,” you told him, taking a couple steps back to distance yourself.
“There’s no one here I promise, I watched everyone leave,” Lias replied.
“No I mean we can’t do this,” you said, motioning between the do of you.
“I don’t?” his voice trailed off. He watched you carefully, trying to make sense of your statement.
“I just... I just can’t be with you,” you said.
“I know we have to be care and keep it all a secret. I don't mind even I-”
“No Lias,” you cut him off, “I can’t do that. It’s too much, I feel like I’m living a lie. I can’t have all this- this guilt and stress all the time.”
“So what you just used me for some sex and now you wanna cut me off?” Lias questioned, his tone much more harsh. His words cut right through you.
“Is that really what you think of me?” you replied, unable to hide the hurt in your voice.
“I don’t know what to think anymore, but it just seems like a happy coincidence that the day after we hook up this all is suddenly too much,” Lias replied.
“I’ve said this is too much from the beginning and you know that,” you snapped.
“That's not what you said the other night.”
“Don’t even fucking go there, Lias,” you shot back, “You don’t get it. This is my dream, I’ve worked my entire life for this and I am not about to throw it away for some stupid fucking boy.”
“Stupid fucking boy, huh?” his voice lost its harshness, cracking with hurt instead.
“Lias, I-”
“Forget it,” this time he cut you off, “I regret ever speaking to you. Just fucking forget everything.” He stormed off, leaving you in the empty locker room, where you never felt more alone.

Welcome to Sweden
Summary: finally putting respect on Lias’ name doing an imagine. You meet Lias while studying abroad over the summer and obviously a good time ensues (back at it with bad summaries also this was requested ty anon who sent this in!)
Warnings: you already know they fucking, light choking
Swedish dance music thumped through your system as you took you drink from the bar. You sipped it slowly, still trying to get used to how much stronger they made the drinks here. If you weren't careful you could get a pretty decent buzz off just one.
“I still can’t believe we’re here,” Your friend said to you as you both settled into a little corner of the club. You couldn’t believe it either. It was the summer before your senior year in college, your last chance to do a study abroad. You’d been roommates since freshman year - and best friends - and it was something you both always wanted to do, but were to scared to. On a whim the night before the applications closed you both applied and now you were here in Sweden.
“Best decision we’ve ever made,” you replied clinking her glass with a smile.
“I think I know what the second best decision you’re ever going to make is,” Your friend said between sips of her drink.
“What’s that?” you raised a brow at her.
“Going to talk to the guy over there who’s been eyeing you since we got here,” she told you, nodding across the room. You followed her gazed, finding a tall, handsome blonde with a small smile on his face.
You turned around so he couldn't see you were talking about him. “No way he is looking at me,” you replied. He was easily one of the hottest guys you’ve seen in your time here so far, which is saying something since there are a lot of beautiful people in Sweden.
“Are you kidding me? You’re hot look at yourself,” Your friend playfully slapped your shoulder, “Go over there and talk to him.”
You in America would have said no, but fuck it, you’re in Sweden and you wanted to have fun. If you embarrassed yourself you’d be in another country in just a few weeks and you’d never see him again. You took a swig of you drink, needing that extra boost of confidence.
“Alright I’m going in,” you handed you glass to your friend who eagerly cheered you on. You wished she could cheer you on the entire way because you were losing your nerve the closer you got, but there was no turning back now.
“You must be new here,” the mystery blond said when you reached him. You were relieved he spoke first because you realized you had no idea what you wanted to say... or if he even spoke English.
“What gave it away?” you asked, trying to remain cool, but he was even cuter up close.
“I come here a lot,” he told you, “If I saw a girl as pretty as you I’d remember.”
“That line usually work on girls or...?” you teased. If an American man had said that to you, you would have rolled your eyes. Something about it coming from him made it charming. Maybe it was the accent.
“Not sure,” he smirked, “You’re the first girl I’ve ever said that too. Did it work?”
You playfully rolled your eyes and nodded. “Maybe a little.”
“You’re really not from here... that accent, you’re American?” he guessed.
“Yeah,” you confirmed, “I’m studying abroad here for a few weeks.”
“Well I’m happy to welcome you to my country. I’m Lias,” he stuck out his hand. It made you laugh, it was almost too formal from a young guy, but it was sweet.
“y/n,” you told him, shaking his hand. Lias didn’t let go, pulling you towards the dance floor. You let out a giggle, following him eagerly. You never been too much of a dancer when you were out, but there was something about the Swedish music that moved you.
And so you and Lias danced for a while, with each song that passed you inched closer to each other. Eventually you pressed firmly against him, your ass grinding against his crotch. Lias’ hands gripped your hips, keeping you close to him, as you both moved to the beat. His lips found your neck and you tilted your head back, allowing him better access. You shut your eyes, reaching back and running your fingers through his hair as he kissed you. It felt so good and you were certain it was going to leave a mark. That thought only added to the desire building between your legs. You let out a soft moan, nearly forgetting where you were.
“Can I take you home,” Lias asked breathlessly in your ear. You opened your eyes, searching for your friend in the room; you didn’t want to leave without her knowing. You spotted her wrapped around a handsome brunet, and you were glad she was having some fun too. You locked eyes and had a silent exchange, her eager smile telling you you were good to go.
“Please,” you replied, taking his hand as he pushed through the crowd for the exit. He lived close by, so it was closer to walk... or nearly run in this case. It was a struggle to keep up with his quick pace.
You finally made it to his place - only slightly winded - and wasted no time. The second the door shut he was on you. You realized he hadn’t actually kissed your lips yet and fuck could he kiss. You moaned against his lips, as he blindly led you back to his bedroom. You were both stumbling, but didn’t care; neither of you wanted to stop kissing, not even for a second.
Once you hit the bed, Lias was on top of you. He pulled his shirt off, tossing it to the floor. You looked at him in awe, surprised by just how nice of a body he was hiding. Lias smirked like he knew exactly what you were thinking.
He returned to your neck, kissing at the already-sensitive skin as he slid the thin straps of your dress off your shoulders. He kissed down your body, slowly pulling down your dress to reveal more skin for him to kiss. He was eager to get to your boobs, kissing them just as roughly as he did your neck.
Lias was nestled between your legs and the more he kissed you, the more you needed him. You ground against his thigh, desperate for any kind of relief. The more pressure you applied, the Better it was feeling, causing you to get breathless. Lias chuckled against your skin, realizing what you were doing.
“Alright I can take a hint,” he teased, reaching into his bedside table to get a condom. You wiggled out of the rest of your clothes, kicking them off the bed. You tried not to stare at Lias, who was currently rolling a condom onto his length - which was bigger than you would have thought.
“Like what you see?” Lias asked with a smirk. Guess you didn’t do so great on the whole no staring thing. A blush rose to your cheeks, which only made Lias chuckle. He grabbed your legs, pulling you over to him. He positioned himself between your legs again, a place he seemed more than comfortable. He looked to you, silently asking for permission to start, which you gave eagerly.
He pressed in slowly, allowing for you to savor the stretch around him. You bit your lip as he bottomed out, feeling so perfectly full. He started with deliciously long and slow strokes, already drawing moans from your lips. You wrapped your arms around him, pulling him close so you could kiss him.
Lias didn't miss a beat, putting more strength behind each stroke. Your finger nails dug into his back as you tried to maintain your composure, which he seemed to love. His hand slid up the front of your body, resting at the base of your neck.
“Can I?” he asked, his thumb running over your throat. It took you as second to realize what he meant. He wanted to choke you. The thought made you tighten around him.
“Yes,” your voice was breathless and needy. Lias wrapped his hand around your throat, pressing gently at the sides. He slowly applied more pressure as he continued to rock into you. He knew what he was doing, choking you just right to make everything feel more intense.
“Lias,” a small gasp escape you as you were getting closer. You were sure you were drawing blood with how hard you were scratching at his back, but he didn’t mind one bit. You felt lightheaded, but in the best way, and knew you wouldn’t last much longer.
“Cum for me y/n,” Lias coaxed you, “come on let me feel you cum on me.” He continued to rock into you as he spoke, making it impossible for you to hold back. You gasped as a wave of pleasure flooded your body. Lias loosened the grip on your throat, the blood rushing to your head, making your orgasm feel all the more intense.
“Fuck,” Lias let out a low groan as he came along with you. He slowed only slightly, drawing out every last second of pleasure possible for both of you. His lips found yours again, giving you slow and lazy kisses as you both finished.
He eventually pulled out of you, wrapping his arm around you and pulling you on to his chest. “What a welcome,” you teased when you finally caught your breath.
“I wanted to make sure you liked Sweden,” he replied.
“You’ve definitely accomplished that.” You both laughed and Lias kissed the top of your head. It was weird, you hadn’t known this man for long at all but something about him made your heart flutter. You tried to ignore that, though, he was just some guy from Sweden, there was no sense in catching feelings for him. It would never work.
“What part of America are you from?” Lias asked, running his fingers through your hair.
“New York,” you replied.
“No way,” Lias said, “I play for a hockey team there. The Rangers.”
“You’re fucking with me,” you sat up to look at him.
“I swear! Let me show you.” He pulled out his phone, showing you pictures of him on the ice. Damn, you thought, he really was not kidding.
“So does that mean you live in New York?” you asked, trying not to sound too hopeful.
“I do during the season, which is honestly most of the year. I’m usually just in Sweden for the summer,” Lias explained.
“That’s amazing,” you replied. You couldn’t imagine a much better place to spend summer than in Sweden.
“It is, I love it,” Lias replied, “Maybe when I get back to New York we could see each other?”
“I’d love that,” you replied, smiling softly.
Lias cracked a sweet grin, pulling you back on to his chest. He kissed the top of your head and nuzzled into you, “It’s a date.”

The Intern - Part 8
The GIF I've been using for this series so sorry for the changed!!
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5 Part 6 Part 7
Summary: You are an intern at MSG, strictly forbidden to become involved in with any of the Rangers players. However, this becomes difficult when you catch the eye of a certain player. Word count: 1.1k
Warnings: Smut and this is the final part. This is kinda like a where are they now type of thing. Thank you for reading and supporting this series!
In September, you never thought you would be here... Well maybe you did except to be here, but not be here with a special someone. Here being the Rangers end of year party and the special someone being Lias Andersson.
“I can’t believe I have the hottest girl in the room,” Lias whispered in your ear when the two of you found a quiet corner of the restaurant the party was being hosted at. Despite not making the playoffs, everyone was in good spirits. It had been a well fought season, with plenty of lows, but lots of highs too. Everyone was optimistic about the future, so the atmosphere was celebratory.
“Just like I have the corniest man in the room,” you giggled, pressing a kiss to his lips. It was weird, to kiss him in front of everyone like that. The two of you barely spoke at work because of your situation so this felt foreign and almost wrong. But you survived the year and everyone else was affectionate with their significant others and you thought you both deserved it after everything you put up with.
Beth had not gone easy on you, to say the least. It wasn’t like starting at square one, it was like starting back at negative 500. Lots more rules about how much time you can spend with the players, who you could be alone with, her looking over your shoulder almost all day. Hell, you could barely go to the bathroom without her hovering in the hallway to make sure that's all you did.
You kept your head down and just worked, that was what you were there for. You knew you were on thin ice and you absolutely could not blow it. After months of proving yourself over and over again, you felt you had at least worked yourself back to zero.
Just like that, Beth appeared. Your stomach churned, thinking she was going to tell you off one final time now that you finished with your internship.
“Y/n, can I speak to you for a moment? In private,” her eyes flicked over to Lias for the last part. Lias looked at you to make sure you were okay. You squeezed his hand and nodded, telling him it was alright to leave you. He wandered off, but not too far. You knew he was keeping an eye on you, which was comforting.
“What did you wanna talk about?” you asked, trying to remain calm.
“I wanted to apologize,” she replied. Wow, that was not what you expected.
“What for?”
“The way I’ve treated you,” Beth began, “I know I was... intense. I just wanted what’s best for you. This industry is really hard for us women, everyone always assumes we are sleeping with someone to get to where we are. I didn’t want anyone to take your accomplishments from you, you really are amazing at what you do.”
“Beth, I- I don’t even know what to say,” you replied, fighting the urge to pinch yourself to make sure this was happening.
“Say you’ll work for me. Full time,” Beth said.
“Are you serious?” you asked.
“Yes,” she confirmed, “I know I put you through a lot and these last few months have been kinda rocky, but you’re the perfect fit for the position. You’ve proved you can be professional even with everything going on. I understand if you’re not comfortable with me, but I’d love to have you if you want it.”
“Absolutely,” you nodded the second she stopped speaking, “I would love to work with you. Thank you Beth, so much.”
“Of course,” she replied with the first fond smile you’ve seen from her in awhile, “Now enjoy the party. And tell Lias to stand down.” You peered over her shoulder to see staring intently at the two of you and you both laughed.
“What happened?” Lias asked when he returned to your side.
“She hired me full time!” you exclaimed.
“No fucking way,” Lias beamed, enveloping you in a tight hug. You giggled, not minding that you could barely breath. “We have to celebrate.”
“Well, we are at a party,” you teased.
“No, I mean really celebrate,” Lias replied raising his eyebrows at you. Before you could respond, Lias was leading you through the room. At first you weren't sure what he was doing, until you realized he was making a beeline to the coat closet down the hallway.
“Lias I just got hired and you’re gonna get me fired,” you laughed as he kissed your neck the second the door closed behind the two of you.
“Just be quiet, we’ll be done before anyone can miss us,” Lias murmured against your skin. Against your better judgement, you submit to his lips. You’re suddenly kissing each other in a frenzy. You hadn’t realized how badly you wanted him until that very moment. As stupid as it was, the fact that everyone was just down the hall was so hot to you.
There wasn’t time for complete undressing (you weren’t sure you’d be able to get the dress back on in the dark anyway) so you hiked up the hem, allowing Lias to push your underwear aside and rub your core. You bit your lip to stifle your moans as he got you ready for him.
It didn’t take long, and it never did with Lias. Once he was sure you were ready he slid his pants down enough to get his cock out. He slid himself through your wetness before pushing inside you. A moan escaped your lips.
“Shhh angel, can’t get caught,” Lias murmured through a smirk. You nodded, tucking your face into his neck. You busied your mouth with kiss him instead. Lias’s hand gripped your thigh, lifting it up for a better angle. Your orgasm came over you unexpectedly. If your lips hadn’t been against his skin the whole damn restaurant would have known what you were doing.
“Fuck,” Lias groaned quietly as he finished in side you. You didn't want him to be out of you, but you knew you couldn't be gone too long without raising eyebrows. You both adjusted yourselves, trying to make sure you didn’t look freshly fucked. You didn’t think you’d be able to hide your glow, though.
“I’ve got a crazy idea,” Lias said as he zipped up his pants.
“Crazier than fucking at your team’s party?” you asked.
Lias chuckled. “What if we forgot this whole party and just went home? I don’t wanna stop celebrating.”
You grabbed Lias’s face, kissing him. “This is why I love you so much.”
Lias smiled, and you could see the blush in his cheeks even in the dark, “Not as much as I love you.”

The Intern Part 6
Part 1 Part 2 Part 3 Part 4 Part 5
Summary: You are an intern at MSG, strictly forbidden to become involved in with any of the Rangers players. However, this becomes difficult when you catch the eye of a certain player.
Warnings: none for this part, but kinda short again RIP don’t kill me
Jess found you on the couch the next morning, surrounded in tissues and an empty ice cream tub. “Oh no, what happened y/n?” she asked. Your eyes fluttered open. You hadn’t been sleeping, though you desperately needed to.
“A major fuck up,” you groaned, tucking your face into the couch pillow.
“You can tell me, I promise I won’t judge,” Jess replied, sitting down next to you. She picked your head up and put it in her lap, gently rubbing your temple.
“Lias and I had sex,” you began.
“Oh my god,” Jess gasped, “Sorry that slipped out.” She added quickly and then went quiet again so you could keep going.
“Yeah so that happened, but then I panicked,” you sighed, “And I told him we couldn’t see each other anymore after.”
“Y/n,” Jess sighed.
“I know, I know,” you replied siting up, “It was stupid and horrible timing looking back. I guess I just thought the sooner the better. I didn’t wanna lead him on.” The more you thought about it the more you realized how dumb your plan was. You acted completely out of anxiety and just made the situation a million times worse. If you had been in his situation you would have definitely been hurt and confused.
“I’m guessing he didn’t take it well?” Jess frowned sympathetically.
“No, we got into a big fight and he basically told me to fuck off,” your heart stung as you heard his words play in your head, “I deserved it though. I’m such a fucking idiot.”
“No you’re not y/n,” Jess hugged you tightly, “You're under a lot of stress. Boy stuff isn’t easy, even under the perfect conditions. Maybe you just need some time and then you can talk it out?”
“Maybe,” you sighed. You couldn’t allow yourself to be that optimistic.
The first week back proved that that scenario wasn’t very likely. You felt sick to your stomach all day. The only thing worse than trying to avoid Lias when he liked you was seeing how harshly he ignored you when he was mad. It truly was like you didn’t exist, which almost hurt more than the rare glare you’d get if you did catch his eye. Not that you were trying to, but there’s only so many places you can stare when you have to stand right in front of him during an interview.
It was horrible. You dreaded going to MSG now, the feeling of Lias’ anger radiating off him made you miserable. You didn't blame him, though, you felt like you deserved to feel like this. You guessed you made him feel just as bad, so it was fair in a way. Awful, but fair.
“Hey, y/n, can I talk to you?” Mika asked you one evening as you were getting ready to leave. Beth had left a few minutes ago, but you had stayed a bit longer to finish editing a post for tomorrow.
“Sure, what’s up,” you asked, though you had a sneaking suspicion you knew what this was about.
“I don’t mean to bother you,” Mika began, stepping in and closing the door over a bit, “But I know you and Lias got into a fight.”
“Did he tell you?” you asked. Mika nodded, and your cheeks turned red. You were embarrassed Mika knew you were such an idiot.
“He didn't have to, though, I could tell something was wrong,” Mika told you, “and it took a bit of pushing to get it out of him. I just feel bad, you know?”
“I know, I was such a dick to him I-”
“No I feel bad for both of you,” Mika cut you off, “It’s not all on you. I know it’s gotta be hard on you with the rules and all.”
“Yeah,” was all you could manage.
“I hate seeing the two of you like this,” Mika went on, “You seemed good for each other. Lias was always so happy when you were around. He hasn’t been himself these last few weeks, and it doesn't seem like you’ve been either.”
“It’s been pretty shitty,” you confirmed.
“I think you guys should talk,” Mika replied.
“I don’t know,” you shook your head, “He was really pissed at me Mika. It was sorta a disaster.”
“Would it make you feel better if I told you that I already talked to Lias and he said he would be willing to?” Mika replied.
“He said that?” you asked, shocked.
Mika nodded, “I wouldn’t lie to you. Look, I don't know if this is going to fix things or what will come of it, but I think it would be good for both of you.”
“Okay, yeah,” you nodded, “I’ll talk to him.”
“Great,” Mika replied, “I’ll set it up and text you in a few days so you guys can just meet up and figure this out.”
You couldn’t help yourself, you wrapped your arms around Mika in a tight hug. “Thank you, Mika,” you said while you were squeezing him.
“Of course.”
____
A little over a week later, you sat in a coffee shop, tapping your foot nervously. You’d order a decaf coffee, not needing to be anymore jittery. You hadn’t taken a sip of it, though, afraid it would still be too much for you.
Mika had given you the time and place to meet. Although you were a bit nervous about being out in public, you knew it was better than being at someone’s place. This made more neutral.
You were just beginning to wonder if Lias was going to blow you off when he walked in. When he spotted you, his face was unreadable. He kept his head down as he walked towards you, your heart pounding harder with every step.
“Hey,” he said flatly, as he sat across from you. His under eyes were sunken in slightly, like he hadn’t been sleeping. You felt that.
“Hi,” you replied awkwardly. A silence fell between the two of you as you both avoided each other’s eyes. You didn’t know what to say, or where to begin. Luckily, he finally got things started.
“So Mika said we should talk,” he began. It sounded like he wanted to say more, but he stopped.
“I’m sorry Lias,” you blurted out in the silence. Once you started you couldn’t stop, “I didn't mean things to play out like they did. I- I just panicked. When we slept together it made me realize I really liked you and I just got scared I’m sorry.” You took a deep breath, realizing you hadn't taken a single one during that whole time.
“I’m sorry too,” Lias replied, staring at his hands, “I overreacted.”
“No, I was an ass,” you shook your head, “I shouldn’t have said what I said, you’re not a stupid boy, you’re- you’re amazing. I’m just an idiot that can’t get anything right.”
“You’re not an idiot,” Lias replied, “I shouldn’t have kept pursuing you. I knew you were in a shitty position and I didn’t do anything to make things easier for you.”
“Yeah, but I didn’t exactly push you away that hard,” you pointed out, “I guess we both are sorta stupid.”
Lias cracked a careful smile, “Yeah I guess we both are.” You allowed yourself a light laugh, it felt nice after all this time.
“So now what?” you asked.
“I don’t know,” Lias replied, “I can’t go on hating you, it’s awful.”
“Really awful,” you agreed.
“But it also sucks being around you and not... being with you,” he said softly, a hint of pain seeping into his voice.
“So maybe we just have to stay away from each other,” you suggested miserably, “I mean we can be cordial or whatever at work, but outside that just stay away.”
“That’s probably for the best,” Lias agreed, though he didn’t sound like he believed it. Another few painful seconds of silence washed over both of you before Lias spoke again, “Can I ask you something y/n?”
“Of course,” you replied.
“Could... could we try again at the end of the year? When you’re done with the internship I mean? When there is nothing that could get in the way,” he asked shyly.
You placed your hand over his, “I’d like that a lot.” Lias smiled softly at you, making your heart skip a beat. You parted ways shortly after, ending with a bittersweet hug. Although it would be long before you could ever hold him again, you left feeling the hopeful you had been in weeks.
